Fantastic experience: Tele visit all good.

Fantastic experience: The clinic was clean and efficient. I was able to get a next-day appointment which was so helpful. And Emily Ezra was wonderful - she really took the time to listen to my concerns!

Negative experience: I wish I could give this location zero stars. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this MedNow clinic. I’ve been a client with MedNow for years, and while I’ve been patient with the frequent turnover of providers and re-establishing care with new providers, it’s clear that this reflects the lack of a positive work environment for APPs. I called last week to schedule an appointment for my COVID vaccine, flu vaccine, TB skin test, and annual physical with labs. When I arrived at the clinic, the front desk staff confirmed my appointment and asked me to take a seat. After a few minutes, she called me up and asked, “What are you here for? I don’t have any orders or reason for your appointment.” I clearly explained that I was there for my vaccines, TB test, and physical, but mentioned I could return later for the annual physical with labs if needed. I stated that I needed this appointment for compliance with work as I am a healthcare professional myself. I also offered my insurance card and ID, but she said they weren't necessary. After about ten minutes, she called me up again and asked if I had a copy of my insurance because the medical assistant had two vaccines ready. I reminded her that I also needed the TB test, and she then told me I would need to schedule that and the bloodwork for another day because I was only booked as a "walk-in appointment." I was confused and frustrated, as I had made my appointment a week ago for multiple services and shouldn't have been scheduled as a walk-in. These are meant for same-day appointments, not planned ones. Also, I didn’t need a TB titer, I need my TB skin test. If I just needed my just Covid and flu vaccine, I would have gone to the pharmacy five minutes from my home… Rather than argue with what seemed to be an incompetent and unorganized system, I decided to leave and called the call center to express my frustration. She confirmed that my vaccines including the Tb test were on the notes for my appointment. I’m now waiting for a response from the call center manager after they contact the office manager. It’s frustrating to have wasted my time leaving work early, only to be treated in this way.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Moore at MedNOW Clinics has been managing my chronic pain now for several years. Nothing but professional and always working with me to find the best solutions for a sustainable management plan. MedNOW Clinics has definitely been the best pain management clinic I've used over the last 10 years and give them my highest recommendation!

Negative experience: Bad communication on what services are provided at the clinic when setting up the appointment and during the appointment. Took like 40min to be seen by the Dr after seeing the nurse. A total of 1 hour and 30 minutes at the clinic and got no services done!

Fantastic experience: Great group all around. Dr DiDonato suggested a skin checkup and they found a severely pre-cancerous mole (I'm 35 btw). Coincidence??? Jk, I'm so very glad she encouraged me to see a dermatologist. The mole is gone now and i have her to thank for the peace of mind.

Negative experience: I have been calling for a month to get them to provide information to my insurance to finalize a medical device i need. I call literally 3 times a week for the last month, and so far they still have not taken care of it. The lack of responsibility when dealing with other peoples health is truly remarkable. I would look into some new management structure or restaffing because this is insane. I'm surprised incompetent this staff must be.

Negative experience: I am a pharmacist and have worked in hospitals for many years. I strongly recommend avoiding mednow clinic. Their staff lose emails with important documents, schedule appts at the wrong location, do not send documents to insurance in a timely manner, and miss deadlines when they commit to sending things on time. If you have any medical needs beyond the basics (needing insurance approval, etc), their staff there provide a very poor experience.

Negative experience: The high reviews for this place are WILD to me. I've been on hold for almost 30 minutes, the 6th time I've tried to get help with one very simple question. I waste sooo much time trying to get help here, I need to switch asap

Everyone was personable, super friendly, and very welcoming. I saw Sydney and just adored her! She spends time with you, listens to you and feels genuine in the healthcare system we are in now. Highly recommend this space for anyone!

Fantastic experience: Confused why there are so many bad reviews tbh. I see Dr. Sydney and have maybe a year now. She is wonderful! I’ve also never had an issue with calling and no one picking up. I’ve come in for sore throats and have gotten great care with zero issues. Stomach pain which she made some great suggestions for my diet but also referred me to my ob/gyn and was right that it had to do with my period. She even looked at my eyeball after getting scratched and while still extremely helpful cautioned me that I should make an appointment with my eye doctor to make sure everything else is fine as they would have the ability to check things she can’t. The front doesn’t always remember I have a copay but I know I do so I just let them know before or after that I’d like to pay that. I’ve gotten my flu shot here and blood taken and while it’s never pleasant they made it as seamless as possible. I highly recommend. I also have never had to wait more than two weeks to get an appointment. Usually it’s about 3-5 days.

Negative experience: Look at family clinic Logan reviews. Same location, same clinic. BAD. Absolute worst in terms of picking up the phone. I called 23 (!) times to finally get to someone 10 days later for the results of my medical exam. Also got a no-show bill even though I double-checked and never had an appointment that date (I would have loved to have one then instead of weeks later…). Can’t blame the receptionist, they work hard but are just grossly understaffed. It’s a medical institution, make sure someone can pick up the phone!

Fantastic experience: The love and the honesty here at the clinic help me on are joinery. Life never easy wish we all were perfect. But a great inspiration to get help and healing with 100% trust there advice. Thanks Rachel D.

Negative experience: Front desk is barely welcoming - all of the staff I have met with besides the front desk has been pleasant. HOWEVER, this location almost NEVER answers the phone AND they do not return calls or voicemails. I went in for a test on Monday April 1st, was told the results would be back in about 2 days. I called after 3 days and left a voicemail, fast forward to today, April 10th and at the point I have left 6-7 voicemails asking about the results and for them to call me back. Finally today I got a call back and they said they have no results because my test sample was lost/damaged...... unacceptable. Had they not known this sooner? Could they not have given me a call??? HORRIBLE and I will never go back

Negative experience: My veterinarian office treats my dog better than these people treated me… The secretary is clueless and useless. She couldn’t care less about the people this clinic serves. Sydney DiDonato PA-C doesn’t care about your problems so don’t bother bringing them up. The experience here was awful, save yourself and avoid this place at all costs

Negative experience: No one ever answers the phone or responds to voice messages at this location. Clinician Megan Cain was totally checked out during my annual physical. All around poor service.

Fantastic experience: Sydney and Lizzy (I believe that was her name) were excellent, they took my vitals and walked me through steps on helping my acne. Through and great bedside manner. Would recommend!

Positive experience: Really bad communication here. Called three times over the course of a couple months and no one ever answered. Left voice mails each time and no one ever returned my call. Finally got a hold of them and massive miscommunications ensued. Pretty unacceptable for a health care provider. The care is quality and appointments are easy once you’re there though, no complaints there.

Fantastic experience: I love this office. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone! Very streamlined intake process, easygoing and professionally polite secretaries. I work with Dr. Ava G and personally, she is the best doctor I've ever had! Very empathetic, attentive and she's not a doctor to push meds! Discussions with her are always pleasant and I always feel heard and listened to. I personally have a team of doctors and counselors who work together on my behalf and benefit. Ava is always open to communication and teamwork with doctors and counselors from different offices/clinics. Her coworkers and fellow doctors are always pleasant as well and are always welcome to see you when your 'regular' is unavailable. I would recommend this clinic for anyone who's struggling, hurting or in pain. There's no shame in asking for help As far as prescriptions go, the front desk is helpful and communicative and process things quickly and efficiently.

Negative experience: AVOID!! If I could give zero stars I would. I went in for a strep test, doctor looked in my ears and said she saw some wax build up in my right ear (although I wasn’t having any issues with that ear and never have in the past) she asked if I wanted them to irrigate it which sounded like a pretty harmless routine procedure so I agreed. They then took a bottle that she filled up with warm tap water (not distilled!) and blasted it my ear to get the wax out. After a few min of water blasting which was kind of painful the wax finally came out. At one point she said, just let me know if it starts to “hurt really badly”… really?! Two days later I developed a terrible ear infection. Went back in so they could look at my ear, they thought my ear drum was ruptured because my ear canal was full of blood..but they “couldn’t tell for sure” the doctor left the room to “call her ENT friend” for advice on treatment, so she clearly didn’t know what she was doing or how to treat it. Even after two different types of antibiotics I have not been able to hear out of my right ear and have had permanent ringing in that ear for TEN days now!! Getting a referral for an ENT from them has been a nightmare and to top it off the staff is extremely rude. I would NOT TRUST these doctors and don’t let them irrigate your ear when your ear is perfectly fine! I would hate for this to happen to anyone else which is why I’m leaving such an lengthy review. I wish I would have looked at the other terrible reviews before I booked an appointment here. Who is running this establishment and if I have permanent hearing loss you better believe I will be suing.

She listened to me and provided guidance and solutions with every health concern I had. I will absolutely make this my primary care provider. Thank you for making me feel heard.

Fantastic experience: Very competent staff who are concerned about our health. Did a nice job referring me for appropriate testing and following up on the results. They are one of the main reasons I keep my insurance policy.

Negative experience: Front desk isn’t professional. I have to call them at least 2-4 times to ensure they send my prescriptions in to my pharmacy. Honestly shows how much they don’t care about their patients. My medication isn’t something I can go without , and I’ve went WEEKS without it recently because of their ignorance. I see a lot of good reviews on here which makes me wonder is it just me My doctor is wonderful,but the rest staff needs a wake up call.

Fantastic experience: The Nurse Practioner took time with my annual exam, listened to all my concerns, and immediately made referrals to the appropriate specialists. The phlebotomist had a magic touch.

Negative experience: This is strictly on the billing manager. She was very short with her answers and did not take the time to explain the additional charges. I’ve never been to a facility and get charged a new patient fee. Had I known I would have gone elsewhere. The PA was great though. Took the time answering my questions. Her aid was great. Very friendly. The office staff not great. Not friendly.

Negative experience: Do NOT visit this clinic. I stopped visiting this office after a small billing dispute that they refused to resolve. I eventually paid my bill and hoped I'd never hear from them again. Now, more than 6 months after my last appointment, I've suddenly received thousands of dollars in bills for out-of-network services for a provider I've never met or heard of before. As another reviewer mentioned, its impossible to get in contact with their billing department to get any information or correct the error. The front desk is dismissive and audibly bothered by any requests for information or assistance. It's exhausting and emotionally draining to continuously follow up with this office. My insurance said they’d requested information from this office 5 months ago and still haven’t received a response. Please seek treatment elsewhere. My experience was based on the Wash Park location, but I wouldn't trust any of their locations.

Fantastic experience: I have my 3 month check in for my meds for fibromyalgia. Dr. Moore is so friendly . Does not rush me along the way other Dr's have done. I've been seeing Dr. Moore for close to 20 years. I was referred to him by another Dr. after years of suffering with an audio immune disorder, that had gone undiagnosed after seeing 37 Dr's and being prescribed a high # of drugs. Dr. Moore ran test, diagnosed me and put me on a drug treatment program. I will be happy to answer any questions you might have concerning MedNow clinic and Dr. Moore. He's the best of the best

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience. Everyone in the clinic is really friendly and helpful. The nurses and PAs are great, I got blood drawn and couldn't even feeling. Also it sounded like most of the personnel is bilingual and from the looks of it lots of Spanish speaking customers walked in and appreciated this.

Negative experience: Have repeatedly sent claims to my insurance provider with incorrect billing codes resulting in my overbilled, have continually pushed the issue back on the insurance provider despite being responsible for the error. Getting ahold of someone from billing is impossible, they constantly transfer you to voicemail, give you a phone number that doesn’t work, or promise calls back but do not return them. I have been pursuing the same erroneous over billing issue for months and absolutely nobody here has put genuine effort into helping me, instead resubmitting the same incorrect claim document to the same result. Will likely not be returning.

Fantastic experience: Ava was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. The office staff could not have been nicer. Appointment started on time and extremely satisfied with the visit.

Fantastic experience: I was apprehensive about finding a new doctor after a few years without a regular PCP, but I finally did it. I now see Ava Graszl, PA and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. She is knowledgeable, empathetic, and proactive. She has helped me sort out a few health issues that have been nagging at me for awhile. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Negative experience: I went there for my immigration I-693 form and had a really bad experience. The Physician Assistant and nurses were really nice and that is the only reason I am giving them two stars. However, their front desk receptionists were downright incompetent, rude, and unhelpful. Not only they overcharged me for the service, they argued when I pointed out their mistake. It took them half an hour just to process my payment at the counter and the receipt that they provided me was not even itemized. Upon asking for an itemized receipt, the receptionist just repeatedly told me "It will be a while". What sort of poor customer service is that? They told me they will reimburse me for the extra charge the next day but I haven't gotten my money back yet. Would not recommend this clinic due to their poor front desk service.

Negative experience: I had canceled my on line appointment at 8:30am this morning and it seems it didn't get canceled. Also I wanted some information about the results of my blood work and I was told there wasn't anybody available to help me

Negative experience: Terrible, I needed a refill of medication, and they couldn’t respond within 4 days. I would steer clear of this place.

Fantastic experience: Let me start by saying that I have been to Many many many Drs office regarding my issue, and each and everytime i was dismissed and told that there was “nothing wrong”. Yesterday I had an appointment with Rachel Decosta and all that changed. I was immediately greeted by her very friendly technician who took vitals effortlessly and kept me in the loop on my health at all moments of her portion of the appointment. Following this positive experience i was greeted by Rachel. She was so kind and personable and actually took the time to listen to my problem. When i told her this situation and that i was having a hard time getting anyone to take me seriously she immediately jumped into action of what our next steps could be. She treated me with respect and empathy and assured me that my concerns would be met with equal consideration. I have also never been very good with getting lood drawn however her tech was kind, gentle and patient with me and made the experience very smooth and relaxing! Thank you very much and I will be returning:)

Negative experience: Dr. Amy Hinds Schopp was super unhelpful. She came in, told me I had scabies after only being in for maybe a minute (I was having an allergic reaction) told me there was nothing else she could do for me and left within 5 minutes. What pissed me off the most was she was "training" someone else, so apparently this is how she feels every doctor should treat their patients.

Negative experience: The receptionists are not personable and the voicemail box is usually full so you can’t leave a message anyways. Some of the technicians are unpleasant and unfriendly, sighing on the phone, snippy, and rushing to get off the line; I understand you’re busy we all are. The doctors are extremely caring and thorough, I’d go to another location if the doctors weren’t as great as they are here.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was friendly and efficient! I made an appointment and was in and out in little over half an hour. Dr. Rachel DeCosta was wonderful and took the time to thoroughly talk through my symptoms and test results. I believed she cared for my well-being and wanted to help.

Fantastic experience: I did not have to wait; I was seen by a very nice and professional PA and a gentle assistant. If I have one criticism is that I filled up several forms online and then had to redo them on paper at the office.

Fantastic experience: I went in today and had a woman's health check-up with Erin Cain, it was seamless! Everyone I interacted with was friendly and efficient. They patiently listened to my list of concerns (hadn't been into a doctor for a long time!) and addressed them. Again, the professionalism did extend to the assistants that did the more basic pieces including the blood draw. She took my sample before I could start getting panicky and lightheaded.

Fantastic experience: This was my first appointment at a MedNOW Clinic and I met with Dr. Moore. He was very helpful and provided the care I needed. He was very sympathetic and took time to answer my questions and tell me about various treatment options. I would recommend Dr. Moore and MedNOW Clinics to anyone.

Negative experience: I have been leaving multiple messages for my providers for several weeks. This messages for Dr. Moore. I have faxed, called multiple times for weeks now, my results of sleep study, "severe sleep apnea". I have faxed many times, called many places many times, I'm not hearing back from any one regarding moving forward regarding with my severe sleep apnea. Pacific pulmonary- Major Medical -- Airo something--- several names, and logos on paperwork, each time I call , the phone is answered by different name... Please contact me, HOW DO I MOVE FORWARD?

Positive experience: Very efficient team and Dr Fischer was very helpful. I do wish the forms to fill out weren’t so redundant and could have been filled out electronically before arrival. (They were sent as a pdf that would have needed to have been printed out.)

Fantastic experience: Love they accept my Medicaid for primary care. My physician Amy is always kind and gets me handled very quickly each appointment. I spend no longer than 30 minutes here for each appointment

Negative experience: Just tried to setup here for a general practitioner, was put on hold for 44 min and then hung up on. Can't imagine how bad the service is if this is how they begin a new relationship.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Straight took the time to thoroughly investigate my medical history and listen to my needs/concerns. He gave me alternatives to taking medicine for health improvement since I don't like to take medicine if it's not completely necessary. Looking forward to making these lifestyle changes to get on top of my health.

Negative experience: This place is a hot mess. No one answers the phone. When they do they put you on hold and then forget about you. No one calls you back when you leave a voicemail. No one responds to your messages on their patient portal. Just an absolute mess. Also none of the staff (including the providers) wear masks???

Fantastic experience: Today I visited the South Logan Street Clinic to see Dr. Jay Straight, all I can say is that he is a phenomenal physician who really listened to all of my health concerns. It had been more than 10 years since I've been to see a doctor. I was nervous but Dr. Straight quickly and accurately dealt with my issues and made the necessary referrals. I am happy to recommend not only this family medical practice but also Dr. Straight. His staff and medical offices are amazing, the building is very clean and fast service for scheduled appointments.
