Fantastic experience: The office personnel were very friendly, they saw me at my appointed time and were very professional. Dr. Grossman needs work on his bedside manners, while a good doctor and diagnosed my problems, he was cold and short. He doesn't interact with his patients. Otherwise I'm very satisfied.

Negative experience: Worst office ever. Always lose your blood tests and maximise the use of your insurance for no reason.

Fantastic experience: Great Experience with Dr. Nancy Chen and 2nd Floor Staff, but Trish on 1st Floor is Terrible!! I’ve had great experiences with Dr. Nancy Chen and the staff on the 2nd floor at Triborough GI PLLC. They are always helpful, kind, and professional. Dr. Chen is attentive and truly cares about her patients, and her staff reflects the same level of care. However, the experience with Trish on the 1st floor was the complete opposite. She was rude, unprofessional, and downright nasty. Her attitude made me feel uncomfortable, and it was clear that she has no interest in providing any real assistance. It’s unfortunate that someone with such poor manners is the first point of contact in the clinic. I sincerely hope the clclinic addresses this issue with Trish, as it really impacts the overall experience in a negative way.

Negative experience: Absolutely rude medical assistance staff in Triborough GI Medical clinic. Two medical assistants showed themselves to be unprofessional by refusing me to perform tests prescribed by the doctor, such as ultrasound and blood tests. In my opinion, experience has shown that repeat testing is not possible in this clinic anymore.

Negative experience: I regretfully had the misfortune of being treated by Dr. Chapalamadugu. My experience with this so-called professional has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite presenting clear symptoms and repeatedly expressing my concerns, Dr. Chapalamadugu failed to diagnose my cancer until it had progressed to the final stage. This gross negligence and incompetence have cost me precious time and any hope of a full recovery. Dr. Chapalamadugu's dismissive attitude and lack of thorough investigation into my symptoms are utterly unacceptable. He repeatedly assured me that my condition was minor without any recommendations after colonoscopy, while my health continued to deteriorate. It is horrifying to think that a simple, timely examination could have caught the cancer earlier and potentially saved my life. The lack of empathy and the refusal to listen to my concerns are the most painful aspects of this ordeal. I trusted Dr. Chapalamadugu with my health and my life, and his team let me down in the most devastating way possible. This doctor’s incompetence has not only caused me immense physical suffering but also emotional trauma for me and my family. I strongly advise anyone seeking medical care to avoid Dr. Chapalamadugu at all costs. His inability to diagnose and treat serious conditions appropriately is a grave danger to patients. No one should have to endure the negligence and disregard for patient well-being that I experienced. Seek a second opinion, trust your instincts, and do not rely on this doctor’s judgment.

Fantastic experience: I recently had an appointment with Dr. Brun, and I must say, his office is one of the best I've ever visited. From the moment I walked in, the girls at the front desk made me feel incredibly welcomed and assisted me with filling out the forms . Dr. Brun was exceptionally patient in listening to my concerns and provided detailed explanations of my next steps. I was very pleased with my experience and highly recommend this office for anyone dealing with gastro-related issues.

Negative experience: The doctor grosman is a good person ,but one of the staff girls was aggressive and rude. He shouted at us and showed aggression. I think this girl needs psychiatric help ,sorry but this is true . This girl was probably a doctor's assistant, not a desk assistant I had a bad experience…

Negative experience: Doctor was nice at first, but they were supposed to contact me with my ultrasound results, never did. The results have been available for the last 4 days. I was supposed to get a call to be referred to a different doctor, also no one reached out. Aftercare is exceptionally lackluster here. I asked multiple times if I would be contacted, but here we are.

Fantastic experience: My first visiting this GI office. The front desk were welcoming & so friendly. I was seen by Dina. What a great nurse. She is so caring, answered all me questions and concerns. I will definitely be coming back here to do my procedure and I will be referring me friends & family. Definitely visit this office if you have any GI problems!!!!

Negative experience: Such a bad doctor.Yelled at us,started cursing, screaming and all that.I was with a PREGNANT woman and he started all that right in front of us.Today at 9. Kicked me and my PREGNANT wife.He disrespected us in every way.

Negative experience: I think they are racist! Last I went to see a doctor I had an appointment at 11 am on Saturday then they checked all of their Russian people after 12.40 pm I raised my voice that I had an appointment and I came on time why are you waiting for 1.40hrs but people were coming after me they can see a doctor and left. The front desk girl was ashamed. Then after 2hrs later they were able to see me. Horrible experience to wait.

Negative experience: The doctor is not ready to listen and understand properly, he takes literally 3 minutes and runs away. A good doctor is a listening doctor who asks lots of questions so that treatment decisions can be made as soon as possible. Gastroenterologists don't like to treat irritable bowel syndrome, they like a set of classic procedures to write off insurance money.

My first meeting with Dr. Chen was quick yet effective, as she explained the procedure and asked relevant background questions. On the day of the procedure, everything went smoothly, and the anesthesiologist was attentive. Despite initial anxiety, the entire staff was caring and made me feel at ease. I highly recommend this place and have already done so.

Negative experience: The staff is unprofessional, the biller billed as if i visited doctor Brun, though I clearly had an appointment with Dr Grosman in June 2023, the lady who orders medications talks back, rude and unprofessional. The appointment that i made was changed twice without any notification, they just sent an automated message. A mess. Dr Grosman is a very good doctor but if the staff is so disorganized and rude, i don't think I want to go there.

Negative experience: The front desk lady at first floor is very impatient and unprofessional. She only gave me two times 30min apart to choose from for appointment and almost rolled her eyes about my additional questions. She ended up sending me to a wrong location that is far away. I wasted two extra hours on a work day and extra $ to travel back and forth and line up at the correct location due to her mistake, not to mention I remained starving all the time. She does not deserve her job.

Fantastic experience: I had been postponing to have a colonoscopy for 14 years because I did not feel comfortable with the procedure. My primary care physician recommended Dr. Konstantin Peysin. Dr. Peysin is an attentive doctor. He has a soothing voice and smiling eyes. He spent a reasonable amount of time at the initial consultation and the post procedure. I am glad I made the right choice.

Negative experience: So disappointed with the front desk. I scheduled an appointment for the specific time and date long in advance. Somehow front desk decided to to accommodate person who came after me first. Without even asking if I'm ok with it! Just said to her coworker “put him first”?! Excuse ME?! Love Dr. Grossman but please respect my time!

Fantastic experience: As soon as I arrived, the location was upstairs in a clean and cozy environment. From the front desk, the staff was helpful and direct with paperwork. The nurses that prepped me were courteous and had amazing music in the office. The only drawback was the trying to find my vein part: I was left bruised on one arm but once my vein was found, I was out like a light. I’d recommend it for anyone experiencing any digestive issues!

Fantastic experience: I'll start with the waiting room; it's a clean, bright foyer in Art Nouveau style. Friendly girls work at the register. We quickly and professionally discussed health problems with Dr. Grosman and made a schedule for further examination. Quickly, friendly, professional!

Fantastic experience: Great! Very nice service, secretary is very flexible with scheduling of appointments. Doctor’s assistant is very friendly and positive. Schedule first appointment with checking of insurance and registration by phone, 8 minutes, waiting time in office is 5 minutes, collection of health information with doctor’s assistant maximum 10 minutes and Doctor Grosman is 5 stars, very professional, very nice and I highly recommend his team.

Positive experience: The staff weren’t the friendliness, however they provide it information and helped you out throughout the entire time. The waiting time was a bit long but the doctor answered every questions and concerned about the visit and follow up.

Fantastic experience: I went to Triborough Gl Sheepshead Bay and was in the premises less than 40 minutes, I had an endoscopy, the service was good and quick, I would come back any time if I need to. My uncle is having an endoscopy today at a different place (Queens) and we’ve been waiting over an hour, I can compare and recommend the Sheepshead Bay office.

Fantastic experience: Belive me the prep was the worst part...my colonoscopy was for 8am after paying and filling out paperwork I did not have to wait more than 5 min the office is very neat and clean. I was finished with everything by 9am including going over the results with the doctor. This was a breeze.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a colonoscopy with Dr. Chen, and the entire staff made the process as quick and painless as possible. Dr. Chen is wonderful and answers all your questions thoroughly. Margarita was my anesthesiologist and she was so gentle and comforting. I also felt very taken care of after the procedure by staff members David and Gabe. All in all they made an uncomfortable situation way more comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Igor Grosman is a fantastic gastroenterologist! I had an endoscopy and I didn’t have to wait too long to be seen. I’ve had a couple before and I often have to wait several hours and that’s very difficult considering you have to fast. This location is fantastic. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: "While I had a great experience with the doctor, I'm afraid I can't say the same about the receptionist. During my call on 3rd May 2023 at 11:15 am, I was put on hold for a long time before the receptionist finally answered. However, she didn't listen to me and disconnected the call. I had to call back from a different phone number, and although she listened to my name, she put me on hold again before disconnecting the call once more. I understand that everyone has bad days, but the receptionist's unprofessional behavior and attitude were unacceptable. Perhaps there was an issue with her salary, but regardless, it's important for the practice to ensure that their staff treats patients with respect and professionalism."

Dr. Nancy Chen, was great, she explained everything to me in greay detail; I left her office feeling informed and very satisfied.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been there twice now and never waited more than five minutes - if that. The whole staff is super polite and efficient. Dr. Micky is a sweetheart and has an amazing and highly professional attitude regarding his work. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Great colonoscopy. Woke up feeling like I'd just had a nice nap. It's busy here, so they practice tight time management, but everyone thus far has been kind and professional, and Dr. Grossman answers my questions in an efficient and forthright manner.

Fantastic experience: The doctor and the medical/clinical staff are great. I highly recommend Dr Peysin. He’s personable and listens to your concerns, and made me feel very comfortable. I do think that the people at the front desk both at the main entrance (1st floor) and side entrance (2nd floor) could use a bit more training on etiquette and emotional IQ. I know some of the people are young but I don’t necessarily need to hear about personal issues and chatting behind the desk like it’s a coffee house or school classroom. To me that’s something that can really set apart a great office versus a good office. With that said, I would still definitely go to this location and Dr. Peysin.
