Fantastic experience: I had surgery on my left ankle with Dr. Choi, and the entire experience was excellent. Due to the nature of my auto accident, my ankle will never be exactly the same as before, but thanks to Dr. Choi, I feel so much better and have returned to my normal life. Dr. Choi is not only highly skilled but also incredibly caring. He thoroughly explains procedures, making sure his patients feel comfortable and informed. His kindness, expertise, and steady hands make him an outstanding doctor. I couldn’t have asked for better care, which is why I also trusted him to treat my dad’s foot. Dr. Choi specializes in diabetic patients as well, and my father is extremely grateful for the care he received. Negative experience: They ask you to pay deposit of 200 to see a physician which is illegal. If you are lucky, you may receive the deposit back. It is impossible to speak to a billing person and the manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. I saw few reviews similar to my experience and I should have paid more attention to those. I am in healthcare and I am very surprised to see how patients are treated unfairly.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of working with Aline Assadourian RD at CK Endo. She was extremely helpful in bringing my cholesterol levels back within normal ranges. I followed a specially tailored diet regiment, that was expertly put together. She made sure my diet was flexible enough so as to never feel the expected “strictness” one might encounter when going on required diets. In addition to this, she was very attentive to all my concerns, and would always reply to my texts with generosity and genuine care. I would highly recommend her.

Negative experience: It’s the worst. I had a phone appointment for the follow up of my blood work and he never called me. I spent all morning waiting. I called back to find out about it and the secretary didn’t know what was happening. She told me to wait longer but never got a call back for two weeks. Since he never called, I call and make another appointment. A week later, again, for the second time he missed to call me. What kind of dr is this guy? So unprofessional. Don’t bother to go there. He doesn’t care about his patients as you can see. If this happened to me twice, he probably does that all the time.

Fantastic experience: Thank you to Inae Aline and Christian for your guidance in taking me from quadruple bypass surgery, helping me manage my chronic conditions, protecting my kidneys and heart, and guiding me to proper nutrition. 14 months later, under your guidance, I feel much much better!

Fantastic experience: I have been a Ck Endo patient for 2 years, my main concern was my weight, it increased every month no matter what I did. I started consulting with Aline (Dietitian) in October 2023 and since then I must say that my life changed, not only did I lose kilos, I felt encouraged and supported at every step. Aline is caring and she takes the time to listen to you and guide you along the way. She taught me to choose wisely and nourish my body, and at each visit she made adjustments that helped me get results. I can't recommend her enough!

Fantastic experience: Both of us have severe diabetes, so we met with InAe Lim APN of CK ENDO, 3 months ago at the recommendation of our doctors. I think we're very lucky. InAe Lim APN is a true medical practitioner who follows Pestalozzi and Nightingale Pledge, better than a doctor. I am truly happy to meet medical professionals who care about patients from the patient's point of view. 우리 부부 두사람 모두 당뇨가 심해 주치의의 권유로 3달전에 전문의인CK ENDO 의 InAe Lim APN 을 만나, 치료를 받기 시작 했다. 우리는 참 운이 좋은 사람들이라고 생각한다. Fantastic experience: 2023년 4월 18일에 소개로 신장내과 John S, Kang 에게 진찰을 받았습니다..친철하게 자세히 이야기 해주시고, 질문에도 싫은 내색 하지 않고 응답해 주셔서 감동이었습니다..다른 신장내과에 가선 20-30분 기다리다 3-5분에 끝나고, 바빠서 질문할것도 질문도 못했고, 피검사 하고 나면 직원이 전화해서 사무적으로 그냥 툭툭 말하고, 안 좋아지면 투석해야죠 라고 너무 쉽게 이야기해서 기분이 상했는데...강 선생님은 검사 결과를. 강 선생님이 직접 전화 주셔서 알려주시고, 기도해 주신다고 하는 의사 선생님은 처음 이었습니다..환자를 위해 기도해 주신다고 하니, 이보다 더 환자를 생각하시는 선생님이 계실까 싶었습니다..직원분들이야 워낙 일도 많으시고 바쁘다 보니 어느 면에서는 불친절 하다고 느낄수도 있다고 여겨집니다..본인도 투석실 운영하기에 그게 돈이 되지만,..투석까지 가지 말아야 한다고 정직하게 믿음을 주신 선생님께, 신뢰가 생깁니다...수고하시고 늘 환자들에게 심의 로 남아 주시길 저도 기도하겠습니다..

Negative experience: Doctor himself is fine. Staff on the other hand courteously unprofessional. Let me explain. After several visits with the same insurance. They wait to moment before a scheduled telemedicine call with the doctor to call me and say that there’s a problem with my insurance. I did I would call as soon as I hung up with them and completed the telemedicine which was scheduled for the purpose of giving me blood work results. I explained to them the insurgence discrepancy had to be on their end because nothings changed.( which after speaking with the I sure ce company they verified it was the doctors billing was being done incorrectly) so due to there poor attempt at billing I was not only denied my telemedicine for my test results and also a refill of my maintenance diabetic medication. So much for the doctors oath huh. Don’t contact the Insurence company contact and refuse treatment to the patient that’s the proper business/medical procedure. Receptionist refuse to understand very stubborn and more concerned on someone being upset with her instead of trying to resolve the situation. Very disappointing

Negative experience: The receptionist that picked up the called when I was trying to make an appointment, was very rude with no work ethics, and sounded like she didn’t speak English.. I had my thyroid removed and my vocal cords are weak and not functioning right.. when I was asking her questions about the appointment, she simply hung up the phone on me , then when I called back to ask for her manager or her boss , she refused to connect me with them.. and she started criticizing me because I can not talk for my vocal cords…. I just wanted to talk to her boss , so maybe they can understand me better because of my condition.. bad service!

Negative experience: Rude older lady at the front desk was very passive aggressive, frequently interrupted me mid conversation, and would try to hang up as quickly as possible. I can tell from some of the other reviews the same person left a bad impression with other patients as well.

Fantastic experience: I started to visit DR. Kim starting in May 2021 for hypothyroidism. Initially, I chose to visit him because I can communicate with him in Korean, but he speaks English fluently as well. Very clean, modern office. Two receptionist ladies are polite, cordial & easy to talk to. Dr. Kim is knowledgeable, caring & was able to prescribe correct medication for my medical issue. I am definitely seeing positive results! I will continue to visit Dr. Kim moving forward.

Fantastic experience: Dr Kim brought me back to life! I cannot thank him enough. I suffer from autoimmune Hashimoto's and was always kept by other doctors on the same medication despite mediocre results. He is the forst one that gave me a different scheme and just a snap of fingers i came back to life!

Negative experience: The front desk Korean lady was very unpleasant, rude and unprofessional. As a potential new patient, I spoke to her about the out of pocket expenses for high deductible plan. Instead of providing me with an estimate, she was dismissive and proceeded to yell at me in a condescending manner. When I asked for her name so that I could expose this unacceptable behavior, she refused to give me her name. I asked that someone else from the clinic give me a call back and she refused. She is clearly afraid of others finding out. Patients should be able to seek care from doctors in a friendly and professional environment - and that starts with the front desk. I would avoid this practice and look elsewhere. UPDATE - After I posted the above, it is apparent that the office desk staff - specifically, the front desk lady - posted or commissioned others to post (e.g., Stellar Kim) a response in a transparent attempt to rebut my review, which is frankly pathetic. A screenshot of Stellar Kim's "review," subsequently deleted - is attached. Let me make clear that doing so detracts from the integrity of the public review process, where people should be able to publish their honest opinions. If you have any doubts about my complaint, you need not look further than the similar complaints posted on Google, heathgrades.com, and Yelp regarding the front desk staff. This not a novel issue, but an ongoing one for the practice, which is unfortunate.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had problems with my thyroid for 20 years now. Due to the helpful appointments I’ve had with Dr. Kim, I’ve been able to slowly come off the medication I’ve been taking for many years. This journey couldn’t have been done without the clinic’s speedy responses to my questions and dealing with pesky healthcare. Despite being an endocrinologist specialist, Dr. Kim goes above and beyond to assuage any other medical anxieties I have. Greatly appreciate Dr. Kim and the staff for their patience and expertise!

Fantastic experience: I am really happy with my new Endocrinologist doctor Dr Kim! He is very professional, caring and calm, I felt secure and in good hands. All staff are very efficient and friendly, the office is very modern, bright and clean. I have a thyroid condition and all the lab tests, ultrasound screening and biopsy were done in the office, efficiently and quickly. I was amazed how the doctor and his staff were professional and caring during all of these procedures!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kim helped turn my life around. I first saw him when he worked in East Brunswick. I was sick for months and saw several doctors previously who could not figure out what was wrong or how to treat me. He figured it out immediately. Within a week of starting treatment I was feeling amazingly better. He now has his own (gorgeous and very clean) practice in Fort Lee and driving the hour is well worth it to me. He thinks outside the box whereas most doctors just look for the easiest answer. I trust him and have recommended him to several people.

Fantastic experience: I have been going CK Endo office since 2019 when my internist Dr didnt want to prescribe me oral tablets for newly diagnosed diabetes (mid 40’s) due to increased Liver enzyme level. My Liver enzyme level has been triple high for 3 years since cancer treatment and I have been seeing Liver Dr in the cancer center and was told to do diet and exercise which didnt help me much. Dr.Kim helped me to control sugar level, loosing weight as suppressing my appetite and lowered Liver enzyme back to almost normal! My oncologist was very pleased about the result normal Liver enzyme level. The staffs in the office are very courteous and professional and always taking good care of me when I am there. I highly recommend CK Endo.

Negative experience: 여기서 일하는 빌링 관련 직원분은 매우 많이 불친절합니다. 제가 작년 9월 20일. 9월 27일. 12월 20일 세번을 방문하고 9월달 방문에 코페이 40불씩 두번을 지불하였고 12월에는 코페이를 납부하지 않아도 된다고해서 납부하지 않았습니다. 그리고 오늘 저의 건강보험사 클레임 기록을 살펴보니 작년 8월달부터 Out of pocket maximum 에 도달해서 9월부터는 코페이 또는 어떠한 추가 비용도 납부하지 않아도되는것을 인지하였습니다. 그래서 병원에 전화하여 상황 설명을 드리고 환불을 요청하려했습니다. 제 개인적인 생각으로는 누구든지 실수는 할수있고 고의적인 실수도 아니고 행정상의 착오로 이해하려고했습니다. 하지만 병원은 작년 12월에 제가 납부한 코페이에 대하여 이미 인지를하고 있었으며 제게 80불의 크레딧이있음을 공지하여주지 않았습니다. 이 또한 이해 할수있습니다. 업무가 바쁘고 작업에 밀려 공지를 못했을수있습니다. 제게 계속 방문할 예정이니 방문시 크레딧 처리로 할수도 있습니다. 하지만 빌링 관련 직원의 태도는 매우 불쾌합니다. 저는 보험 에이전트로 보험 관련 업무를 직업으로하고있습니다. 빌링 관련 직원분이 저에게 설명을 하셨지만 저는 이해 할수 없는 이상한 단어 사용하면서 왜 이해를 못하는지 물어보세요. 제가 이해를 못할정도이면 일반 환자들은 이해를 할수있을지 매우 궁금하네요. 설명을 일부러 어렵고 Twist 해서 설명하는데 이해 할수가 없습니다. 그리고 설명을하시려면 상대방이 이해할수 있는 단어와 어휘를 선택하여 설명하시길 부탁드려요. 그리고 기본적으로 Communicate Skill이 매우 많이 부족하다고 제 개인적으로는 생각합니다. 많은 Communicate Skill 교육이 필요하신 분이라고 생각됩니다. 간단하게 설명하고 크레딧 처리해준다고 말씀하시면 끝날일이었는데 일부러 일을 크게 만드시는 직원분의 일 처리는 매우 안타깝습니다. 의사 선생님께 계속 진찰을 받아야하는데 그 직원과 더 이상 대화하기 싫은데 난감한 상황이네요.

Fantastic experience: 나는 5 년여의 기간 동안 당뇨약을 복용 하고 있다. 매 번 병원에 갈때 마다 약이 늘었고 피검사 수치는 좋지 않았다. 내과 선생님의 권유로 CK에 방문 하게 되었고 지금 약 6 개월이 지난 나의 상태는 정상 수치가 나왔다. (물론 약은 복용 중이다) 내과 선생님께서도 너무 드라마틱하게 좋아졌다고 ... 무슨 질문이든 잘 받아 주시고 설명해 주시는 것도 감사하고 .. 무엇 보다 환자 입장에서는 내 몸이 나아지고 있다는 것에 감사하다.

Negative experience: The rudest most unprofessional fromt desk staff . Told me I couldn’t see the doctor unless I gave my Social Security number or a $250 deposit . I ask why if I have insurance ( this is against the law you don’t have to provide your Social Security number ) She said this is their policy which by the way is not posted anywhere in the office . Then she told I can leave . Smh! Unbelievable.

Negative experience: 2018년 소개받아 간곳 갑상선 종양으로 여러검사를 관리해 주던중 피검사도 하게되었죠 당연히 검사는 처음 내원할때 보험카드를 주고 in network 임을 확인했기에 모든검사는 오피스직원분들이 알아서 해주었던 서비스로 안심하던중 내보험이 적용이 안되는 LabCorp으로 보내졌고의사선생님한테 말하니 내역서 보내라해서 메일로 보냈죠. 병원데스크직원 정휴??라는 남자분 내역서 갖고가더니 다해결되었다고 해서 믿고 있었는데 LabCorp 에서 내역서를받은이후 여러번 전화도하고 사실경위를 말하고 다시 해결되었다는 병원측 말을들어 안심하고있는데 이번엔 LabCorp측에서 collection으로 넘겨버렸고 일단 토욜이니 전화통화하니 돈을내라고한다..일단 돈을내고 병원내원시 데스크직원에게 항의하니 담당자는 그만두고 자기는모른다..의사샘한테 말하니 알아보겠다고 기가막힌게 이런경우가 여러번인데 또 2018년 8월에 같은곳으로 검사지를 보내는 간호사 .왜그랬냐고 물으니 자기네는 거기만 보낸다고 그럼 왜 말을 정확히하지 말을 하지않았다 알면 검사를 하지않거나 보험 적용이 되는곳으로갔을꺼거나 적용되는곳으로 보내줘야하는거아니냐고 말했고 해결해달라고 하니 알아보고 전화주겠다더니 해가 넘어 2019년 1월10일까지 연락이 없어 전화하니 엘런이란분 .자기담당아니고 담당자 이름알려달라니 안가르쳐주고 전화 끊어야한단다 문제 하니 해결못하면서 환자에게 무책임하게 초지일관하는 병원 믿고 다닐수있을런지요 미안하다는말이 그리 어려운건지 한번도 하지않고 자기네는 모른단다 .환자 상대로 장사를하는건지 병을 되는거지 도저히 알수가 없네요 .한인 의사 병원 이래도 되는건지 참 기막히고 어처구니 없네요. 이제 보험이 바뀌어 볼사람아니니까 그러는건가요??

Fantastic experience: This is one of the best doctor's offices I've ever been to. Dr. Kim is very thorough and very nice. Staff are very friendly and polite.

Fantastic experience: Dr Kim was very thorough, and professional. He spent time to listen to my condition, and provided me very helpful opinion. Also, office is equipped with ultrasound and I was able to get an ultrasound at the first visit. I highly recommend Dr Kim!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kim and the nurses are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The office is very modern and clean and everything looks very professional. I was able to get a lot of medical answers that other doctors failed to give me. I will be making Dr. Kim my primary doctor as well as my endocrinology specialist!

Fantastic experience: Just came here with my mother and am so glad we made the decision to switch over from the Englewood drs. The staff is impeccable and Dr. Kim thoroughly explained my mother’s conditon again in layman’s terms which was very kind of him. Definitely recommend!!
