They listen to me, are very thorough in their assessment, and have treated me appropriately and professionally. I highly recommend this clinic for urgent chiropractic needs, or just monthly maintenance. Also, Cindy at the front desk is the best! Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Negative experience: I thought I was going to a trusted place until I felt like it was no longer accommodating my schedule. I work nights and pick up last minute shifts so appointment scheduling can be hard. So I decided to start branching out and checking out other chiropractors in the area. I was getting chiropractic work and acupuncture done. I was told my insurance only covered chiro, but the three other places I checked out my insurance covered both 100%. My insurance hasn’t changed. So this place has been charging me for every acupuncture appointment. I feel stupid that I was taken advantage of like that and I should have done more research for sure. Everyone make sure YOU know what your insurance covers otherwise they might take advantage of it. Also this place outsource x-rays, blood tests, etc when they could just easily get them done at a doctor’s office and bring them in. So again a situation that would be covered by insurance but are charging $300-$600 for it. 95% of other places do NOT do this. When a different place took in house x-rays and asked for certain blood tests they were ones that I could run through my primary clinic I paid for a lab visit which was $10, but the X-rays cost nothing. Something isn’t adding up here.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional Chiropractic is truly exceptional. There is no one I trust more than Dr. Christine Ingbretson and her team of exceptional chiropractors to give me the best possible chiropractic treatment. I started going there in 2018 when I was experiencing neck and back pain following a car accident where I was rear ended. I thought Dr. Rebecca Bracht did a great job helping me then. She gave me some great information about my injury and what the recovery process would look like. It took time to fully recover, and she recommended physical therapy as well which I did. After finishing physical therapy my appointments gradually became less and less often until they were no longer needed and I was totally back to normal. Then in 2020 right before the pandemic I was rear ended again. I knew exactly where to go, and once again Dr. Rebecca helped me greatly. Although this time was a little more complicated because of the pandemic, and also because my injury was a little more complicated. Dr. Bracht and Dr. Ingbretson caught something in my x-rays and they recommended I get an MRI and see a specialist which I did. It turned out to be ok, but they had to make sure something was stable, otherwise I could have been paralyzed which is kind of scary. I’m really glad they caught it and made sure I was getting it taken care of properly. Due to the pandemic, the Champlin location where I was going was shut down so I had to drive to Ham Lake. Also, during this period of time Dr. Rebecca took a temporary leave of absence due to medical issues, so I started seeing Dr. Christine Ingbretson for my appointments. On top of everything else during the pandemic, my car insurance company tried to deny payments. They hired a “doctor”, if you can call him that, to write up a report that was infuriating to read because it was so dishonest and incendiary. That “doctor” never even saw me in person and used the pandemic as an excuse. Dr. Christine recommended a lawyer. I spoke with several different lawyers and ended up choosing the one Dr. Christine recommended. He treated me really well, did a great job, and we ended up winning the arbitration case. Despite the complications, I continued my chiropractic treatments, did the physical therapy and got back to normal to where I didn’t need to go to the chiropractor at all for several years because I was feeling good and didn’t have any problems. In May 2024, I had an ear infection that led to nerve damage in my face causing it to be paralyzed. I remembered that Dr. Christine helped clear a stopped up ear one time during a past appointment, and that she is a chiropractic neurologist which means she can help with nerves. I saw a medical doctor who prescribed antibiotics for the infection and a steroid to reduce swelling. And I went to the emergency room to make sure I wasn’t having a stroke when one side of my face was paralyzed. But I think Dr. Christine sped up my recovery. I’m not finished with treatments but after just a few weeks my facial paralysis is unnoticeable, and as an audio engineer, I’m back to work in the studio. I’ve seen some of the other chiropractors at Exceptional Chiropractic over the years when scheduling didn’t allow me to see Dr. Christine, or Dr. Rebecca. I think Dr. Christine, as the owner, cares a lot about hiring exceptional chiropractors as well as exceptional staff. They are all professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. Exceptional Chiropractic is a positive environment. They send an email to enter info before the appointment. This cuts down on paperwork and makes the appointment feel less stressful because I don’t feel like I’m being handed a homework assignment when I get there unlike most doctor’s offices. Not only do they provide great care, but they care about the small details that make the experience better. Overall I can’t say enough good things about Exceptional Chiropractic. They have helped me greatly over the years. I would highly recommend them.

Negative experience: Called a few times to make an appointment for me and a friend . The receptionist was rude and uncourteous. Fake it atleast.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr. Laurie and I have only been a handful of times but I am impressed with the level of care that I have received. I have had a hard time finding a chiropractor that can adjust my neck and Dr Laurie fills that ticket. They look at and treat your body as a whole and I love that! If you are looking for a great chiropractor, give this place a try!

Negative experience: Horrible!! Beware!! They did not give a damn about my care, only on how much they could charge me and my insurance company. They made my back and neck pain worse. Owner was extremely unprofessional and rude when I expressed my concern for my care. This place is not recommended if you have any opinion on what care you receive. The response by exceptional chriropractic is untrue, I had no choice then to share my experience through a review since my concers are ignored and calls unanswered. You can attempt damage control but my review and concerns are 100% true. My care was not a priority, your clinic terminated my treatments when I expressed concerns. To start cracking my back and neck then not to complete treatment is not ok, it created more pain. You refuse to address the concerns and are just referring me out for more unneeded medical costs because your clinic failed. I cannot believe you would do this to a patient and not help them, instead you terminate my care. Disgusting!!

Fantastic experience: I've had the best results at this place

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dale Wohlrabe has really helped me. I came to him barley being able to move my neck and after a few visits, I am feeling much better! He works on ways to help in between visits and has taught me stretches and exercises to help prevent this from happening again. Everyone who works here is so friendly and when I come in, they already have everything ready for me. I would highly recommend this clinic!

Negative experience: Avoid Dr. Wholrab. I went in for my back but mentioned I had a shoulder issue. He used a tool improperly on an injured shoulder joint. Which caused my pain and popping to be worse. I can't speak for others in the facility. But stear clear of this guy.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to see Dr Becky for the last two years, through my first pregnancy and now my second. I drive 30 minutes just to see her because she helps so much and genuinely cares. I suffer from sciatica and lots of pain in my neck and tons of pregnancy pain. Dr Becky always has exercise suggestions that help, product suggestions and she goes above and beyond to find different strategies to help my pain. She advocates for my services and she is a great listener and always follows through to help me feel better. So grateful to have her help, and she's got a great sense of humor. Thanks Dr Becky!!

She is delightful and is good about explaining what she is doing and why. Cindy, the receptionist, always remembers me and is very kind. I would highly recommend this place. Great people!

Negative experience: The care was good but not the cost. I am super upset with the billing department here. They don't communicate with the insurance companies about what they cover and do not cover. They also do not communicate cost to you effectively. I found that they charge stupid amounts of money for simple things that , in contrast, other chiropractors don't charge near as much for. If you choose to go here TRIPLE CHECK with your insurance because our experience here was not exceptional.

Fantastic experience: Best chiropractic care I have ever gotten! I've seen several chiropractors and hands down everyone here is great!! I only get adjusted with the tools and never manual (just my preference). My first time here was last fall when I threw out my back and couldnt sit or walk or stand without pain. I felt better after day one! Then I came back after a car accident 3 weeks ago and am so excited to be getting better and back to my Normal self again! I'm back to walking my dog and sleeping on my side and I couldn't tell you enough how happy that makes me!! Everyone here is very thorough, accurate, and professional!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr. Becky for a over three months. It started with an extreme knot in my back and I got an appointment 30 minutes after I called! And every time I visited has been helpful and beneficial. Dr. Becky has done a great job with my back issues and anything else that came up during the time I have seen her - a few things did come up. Foot issue and skin rash. She takes the time to make sure she knows what is going on and she addresses each issue professionally and effectively. She also is a wealth of knowledge! She recommends options and does not judge people. She is a great people person! She knows her job and does a great job making you feel listened to and satisfied.
