Negative experience: These “smoothies” don’t contain any fresh fruit. It’s all Herbalife powder. Tastes chalky and gross plus it’s an MLM pyramid scheme. These are not healthy, not nutritious, and case studies show they can cause liver damage. Buyer beware.

Fantastic experience: Was craving a smoothie today and instead of going to Brueggers for a lame and generic Strawberry/Banana smoothie or caving for Boba, I decided to Google "smoothies near me" and found a hidden gem! It's crazy that I've been around Stadium Village for this long and never noticed this place until today. Squeezed between Kungfu Tea and Caribou, Liv Tru is truly a place to replace all your beverage needs. The space is gorgeous, the staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and the food is not only healthy and delicious, but quite affordable as well! I've been to many chic smoothie joints across America that charge upwards of $12 to $16 for "health meal shakes," but the folx at Liv Tru happen to make theirs for just $8 and extremely tasty at that. It's a bummer that I work during their usual hours of operation, but this will definitely be my new go-to post or pre workout hangout on the weekends. Next time you have the craving for a drink, skip the boba and coffee and come to Liv Tru!

Fantastic experience: LIV-Tru Minneapolis is my go to place. My friends and I all love it & it has such a warm and inviting environment! I wish I could give more than 5 stars, the entire staff is so customer oriented and do a great job of explaining the menu. Check out Liv-Tru as soon as you can!! ⭐️

Negative experience: Menu is very vague

Negative experience: I googled "smoothies" and this place came up, so I dropped in thinking I'd have options for a smoothie made with fruit, juice, milk, etc. & maybe the options to add a protein powder. Instead I saw a vague menu with no ingredients listed as is typical with other smoothie shops. When I asked about non-dairy options because of allergies, the employee asked if "a little" milk was okay (I said I'm allergic?! Wth?!) because all of the items except three had protein that included dairy. This seemed odd considering the names of each (you'd think you could just do no protein or sub a plant based protein), but when I then looked around at the signage it became clear. This is NOT a smoothie shop, it's HERBALIFE! There were signs attempting to get customers to sell their products and/or open a "club." Had I ordered one of the seemingly okay things based on notifying the staff of my allergy, I would have been unknowingly given diet supplements that I can't even have! I take medications that I can't mix certain supplements with, especially ones meant for weight loss/fat burning, as they cause my blood pressure to sky rocket dangerously. I also have a migraine disorder and must be cautious with things that boost energy such as caffeine, so adding even more caffeine than what I allot myself daily or including the ingredients that are in Herbalife products, cause severe debilitating migraines. I am under the care of a neurologist that has to review new medications and supplements to ensure they don't cause severe complications or hospitalization. If you want to sell your MLM product, fine, but promoting this as a smoothie shop is an outright lie. It is EXTREMELY misleading and irresponsible to not advise people patronizing your business of exactly what you are giving to them so they can make am informed decision prior to consuming. You willcause serious harm to someone if you haven't already. Shame on you!

Fantastic experience: This was my first time going and it was such an amazing experience. Everyone was so nice and the drinks were absolutely delicious. I got the key lime pie shake and it tasted like frosting I couldn’t get enough of it!!! I also got the peach tea which was super yummy I drank all of it and I felt refreshed for the rest of the day!! Also don’t get me started with the aloe shot I wasn’t expecting it to be good when I heard about it but then I tried it and it was so good!! It was so good that I planning on coming back tomorrow!!

Negative experience: This is not a restaurant- this Herbalife. It's overly processed MLM powdered drinks. Please do research on the dangers associated with Herbalife before visiting!

Negative experience: This place is part of Herbalife MLM (pyramid scheme). What they’re not telling you is these are weight loss drinks that can be extremely damaging to your liver with cases linked to liver failure (I researched this after I got super sick from every visit). This is why they have been banned from other countries. They’re also extremely high in sugar.

Fantastic experience: I walked in to the establishment at approximately 10:47 and immediately was charmed by the astonishing decór choices. For some reason there is a massive fire tornado light fixture that appears to be very expensive however incredibly interesting and hard to keep my eyes off of. I was slightly off put by the absence of a door chime to welcome me inside the business. There was a great selection of flavors however there seems to be a severe need to fill the position of “VP of flavortown” to maximize the optimal flavor spread to hit all of the farthest corners of my pallet. Aside from this the staff was very friendly and was impressed particularly by the single male employee attending the bathroom cleaning duties. 15/15 would come again!

Fantastic experience: The best Herbalife shake shop in the Minneapolis metro! They have such a diverse menu and their team is always so willing to work with you on your flavor pallet! They always run super fun and interactive promotions weekly as well. The owner is so welcoming and encouraging to every customer that walks through her door! 10/10 would recommend! Do yourself a favor and get the Strawberry Margarita Tea

Fantastic experience: LOVE this place! This herbalife club is my favorite place to stop in the mornings. Love the products and the large variety of flavors. They truly have shakes and tea bombs for everyone's palette. The owner and all the employees have made my experiences at LivTru amazing by providing exceptional customer service and going above and beyond to all their customers. I will always recommend this place to my friends so they can fuel their bodies with all the nutrients and supplements that these shakes pack in!

Fantastic experience: Right off the U of M campus. This Herbalife shake shop is a perfect stop on your way to school, work or a great indoor space to sit down to study, meet and chat with friends or just hangout. There is free open parking out front. They have lots to choose from for flavors and the staff is super friendly, helpful and informative. HIGHLY recommend the butter pecan shake! SO SO SO GOOD! They also have meal kits for every fitness and health goal, and protein coffee among the shakes, boosting shots and tea! GO TO LIV TRU

Fantastic experience: I work and go to school at the U, and often times I find myself unable to pack a lunch and desperately need something to fill me up, and these are soooo tasty. I really love the idea of having both a thick shake and refreshing tea because when you get bored of one you can just switch right up to the other~ (Thanks for being open so early too. Sometimes I crave your shakes later in the afternoon, and you're closed already... T^T)

Negative experience: I did research on Herbalife after I bought a shake from Liv Tru Nutrition and found there are case studies in various countries including the USA of people going into liver failure from using Herbalife. Safe to say that I have no interest in that possible risk. Liv Tru Nutrition did you do your research before selling this?
