Negative experience: This is a response to Brian who asked when it was going to reopen. This practice closed. She is on to another venture. (Not rheumatology) She left her patients with no notice and if you ask for your records you will probably receive about 50 percent of them. In the last months of her practice, she and her staff (her family) lied about making appointments for her patients to other specialists and ignored current treatment plans. Please find a new rhuematologist and run away if she shows up in a new specialty.

Negative experience: My first visit seemed to go well, as the NP was caring and compassionate about my symptoms, but then after a couple visits, my appointment was canceled due to an emergency, then the office closed due to air conditioning problems, then again due to communication system being down. If the NP has health issues as I am reading in some of the other reviews, then I am sympathetic to that, but there was no communication to say that, or that the practice is closed or any recommendations for alternate providers. I sent several texts, emails, and I even called the alternate number they provided on their website, with no response. Now when I go onto their website, it is blank and says “Coming soon”. It’s like the practice disappeared without warning, and I am sure I was not the only one left in the middle of being diagnosed and placed on new medications without provider guidance or follow up.

Negative experience: I am glad I read the reviews. I had contacted the office some time ago to get an appointment as a new patient. Finally a man called me and hung up on me after saying the office he was with and I mentioned I had tried to use their website as the first contact to get an appointment; it wasn't working. Did not call back that day. Finally much time passed, he called. I asked if he would give me time to get out of my car and get to my calendar (I had just arrived in my driveway) and call me back. Not heard from the office since. Almost went in person today to see about an appointment but pulled back out of their parking area and decided I would again try to reach them by phone. THEN I see the reviews. NOPE. I will find a different practice. Thank you to those who wrote reviews. Not sure why some persons got good service and others got lousy service but consistency is needed.

Fantastic experience: Debra Lynch is the BEST! I think she is gonna get to the bottom of my "Fibromyalgia". Her personality is awesome. We joke around, while she's being professional. When I tell you, I LOVE HER, I LOVE HERRRR!!! I have NEVER, felt so heard by a Doctor! and I got a sticker

Negative experience: I didn't want to have to write this, but I think it's only fair to share my story here. I went to this practice having been disappointed in my doctors for not helping my condition and for some symptoms I was having that I couldn't get answers for. I saw Debra and she seemed to be interested in wanting to help. However, there was a lot of chaos with this office. Things were ordered without my knowledge, things that were supposed to be ordered were not. Prescriptions were never put in right away and I had to chase down refills. I got left on steroids for 3 months and finally had to wean myself off. I had mentioned my side effects and they were dismissed. There is very little follow through. As of right now they were supposed to call me back 2 months ago about labs and never did. That is par for the course. I got tired of chasing them and I got tired of being given information that was not accurate. Maybe for those with simple issues this place would work. Personally, I wanted it to work out, but when they don't seem to care about you, never call you back, don't order the tests they say they will, you give up.

Fantastic experience: Oh my goodness! Finally!!!, A doctor and staff that take the time to LISTEN to your concerns. They don't rush you in and out. They try to have answers for you, and they take time to explain in "people language" If they don't have the answer they will find it. I just cannot say enough good things about this facility and staff. They make you feel like family.

Fantastic experience: Dr Deb and her team are always kind, courteous and helpful! Dr Deb has sat down and analyzed my full medical history and labs over the years, she has gotten to the root cause of my pain and treatment has been great ever since! She is my number 1 call for all my health concerns and problems.

Negative experience: First appointment the doctor never showed; didn’t even knew she had a patient on her schedule. Through the glass I could hear the dr. Make comments that she doesn’t know why I’m there my bloodwork looks fine. So they choose to not refill my medications that I have been on for over 5 years and to just send me with bloodwork which could cause health issues going off them cold turkey. I have called numerous times for them to add more codes for the bloodwork so my insurance will accept it with no call back. When I do get ahold of someone I get false promises that the Dr will review it and I would get a call back to which that never happens. It has been over a month now that I have tried to get this bloodwork done since they will not see me till it’s done. In the meantime you allowed a patient to go without medication because you didn’t believe she needed it. Which I’m sure the three other rheumatologists I have seen in my life all couldn’t be wrong with the same diagnosis. I ended up in the hospital which all the doctors including my cardiologist, and Gastro all said my issues point to my conditions I have and to call my rheumatologist. Tried to get ahold once again and never received a call back. This practice seems to have zero communication skills, and doesn’t care about the patients which ends up putting the patients at risk. After over a month of me calling multiple times a week to get things figured out and realizing that this practice doesn’t care about my health and well being I have decided to go else where. It’s kinda funny though how they looked into my hospital visit and my diagnosed conditions and immediately got me in. Patient care is lacking at this practice.

Negative experience: The first visit that appeared to be adequate turned out to not be indicative of the follow-up care that has been beyond awful in every aspect of normal expectations. Not keeping appointments, not returning messages for weeks; not making referrals which were promised. It appears that the entire family is involved in this disorganized, irresponsible practice.

Negative experience: Both Dr. Tackey and NP are very nice and compassionate. It seems there are very sound from a clinical standpoint. But billing, not honoring scheduled appointments, no diagnosis codes on lab work for insurance purposes, not returning phone calls….I’m Gonna have to pass. I do wish you guys best of luck

Negative experience: I was work.woth Dr takki Then another provider with out any updates.. I was supp to come off of methotrexate to humara shot..to take me off the steriods,but none of this happen..wich cause my levels to be out of sort.. Wich I never received the shot nor any refill for my prescriptions.due to a out break in covid them the doc being terminally ill Wich has caused me not to have none of my meds.. And caused me a few Tripp to the emergency room,and lost time at work I have made several calls and never a call back it been well over 2-3 months..if this company is having issues why not reach out to your patients.our life and and we'll being is being put at risk ,and making our daily life hard..and it seem like ya don't care

Negative experience: WARNING WARNING !!! Debra is full of knowledge, talks great, makes you feel like you will get the best service and takes her time with each patient BUT the downside is extensive. They do not know how to run an office and usually only 1 training staff member there. (go visit) Jay is rude. Your wait time is always extremely long. Its very difficult to get someone on the phone. Heaven forbid you request a call back or assistance from the Dr - most of the time it will be her husband *who is not a medical professional* or other staff members who DO NOT work in the office & you will most likely never see since they wfh. They communicate a lot through email. Prescriptions were not always filled on time. They make it difficult to get your records timely. They are both RUDE! Appointments are canceled or pushed back without notice. The Dr was in the hospital several months and sick quite a few times and you just don't receive care or calls. There is no back up Dr on call. They bad mouth other Rheumatology Drs to patients. The emails received from Jay to my google account were reported to insurance. They billed for services not rendered and I had to report that as well. Never ever ever ever had this type of experience with any Dr office ever! if I could attach some of the rude email responses received from Jay typed in bold RED I would. When we complained to insurance about his behavior he yelled over the phone AND he lied. I'm so glad to be away from that practice. You have been warned. ------------'IN RESPONSE TO YOUR unprofessional response to my review and publicly suggesting that I have stalked your establishment and my review is due to my mental competency is a severe personal attack, typical. . I will forward to insurance as well and include it in my complaint to the medical board along with the emails and phone records. I have proof of my claims. Are you claiming i'm a stalker ?? Defamation and intimidation. Reviews are meant to inform others of their experiences at an establishment it is not a personal dig and in no way have i ever stalked your establishment. I hope your untruthful harshness will not discourage others from sharing their experiences, good bad or indifferent. Personal attacks on former patients and attempting to disparage their character, their review and health are not welcome nor professional. I am printing and sending the review and response to my medical team as well as my insurance provider.

Negative experience: I was on a wait list for two months to get in for an appointment. I finally got an appointment for the week of Thanksgiving and they cancelled it at the last minute due to what they claimed was a Covid exposure. They promised they’d call back to reschedule me when it was safe for their office to do so. Now it’s been SIX weeks and I’ve never received a call back. Thats totally absurd and not right.

Negative experience: Highly unprofessional, in Sep 2023 I was seen by Dr.Tackey twice. Without proper notice or any form of communication of provider change, my provider was changed to a NP Debra. Debra canceled 3 appointment and 1 scan all on the day of my appointmens. Which I had to then call myself to reschedule due to the receptionist not knowing the next appointment opening. The office did not return phone calls nor was my patient portal working. When I brought that to the receptionist attention she stated they are aware. This practice is not ran in a professional manner. There is a high lack of care for patients. If I could rate them a negative -10 I would. The lack of knowledge of patient information was disturbing as well, I was called a different name by NP Debra and she even had my DOB wrong. It was clear she was not organized as a NP, being a provider. It was a highly unprofessional and unpleasant service from this medical practice. I was even told to find another Doctor by Debra due to her lack of taking accountability, when showing her my portal had no information on it. Response to feedback:There was no demand for any drug, it was the lack of communication and knowing patient needs. Due to I had a negative reaction to medication, this practice prescribed and then never followed up properly. I have been without medication for treating my autoimmune system. This practice did not take accountability for communication. As well saying insurance does cover medication, which was false. Take Accountability for not knowing my name and dob, take accountability for being on another client's chart and not having my information pulled up. This medical practice clearly needs to be investigated.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is just exceptional here! Jay is very kind the office staff is wonderful and Debra in a word is just Outstanding! She listens intently makes you feel welcome cared for and listened to. She is incredibly knowledgeable and intelligent. I love that she has years of experience! I have not felt this comfortable with a healthcare professional in quite some time, she gives you hope and works to make a plan to help get things better. She is a healthcare professional I feel you can truly trust to do the best for you. Finding her and everyone at this office has truly been a blessing from God.

Fantastic experience: Whenever I call with a concern, either Dr. Tackey makes the time to call me himself, or he will get one of his assistants to reach out to me as soon as possible with a response. I am very impressed because some practices never return patient's phone calls.

Fantastic experience: Front desk guy is very helpful when you ask any question! He’s extremely good with making appointments to your convenience. All of the nurses are accommodating with comfort and they are so nice that you almost hate to bother them when you need their attention. They go above and beyond with kindness and help! Never have I been to a medical office that really show they care! Dr. Hosny is the best in working hard for whatever condition you are there for. He is both honest and trustworthy. Never too busy to call you or see you when you have flare ups or any issues at all. I truly love this place! If you want the best call and arrange for an appointment, you will be very pleased!

Fantastic experience: I love them they are so awesome not just by their treatment but their understanding. I have a 9 year old daughter and I put her to bed and then went to bed exhausted. Background ( I have blinds, blackout curtains, dark paint, and an air conditioner on so it is always pitch black in my bedroom. My phone also doesn’t show if it is am or pm) so now that you know that let me continue. I passed out then woke up and looked at my phone and it said 11:30 on my phone and it was my daughter’s first day of school and I started having a panic attack cuz I had a 11:30 appointment with them yet still had to get my kid ready for school so I jumped out of bed in a lot of pain, and called them and Jay answered on the second ring I told him what happened and he said “right now? It is 11:30pm” I sat back on the bed and slapped my head and couldn’t believe I just did that but they were amazing about it they thought it was funny. I said well I guess I won’t be coming in right now and will see you in the am and he just laughed and said he was just happy nothing was wrong and no emergency. The next day I came in nervous but they thought it was hilarious. We joked about it for a few days after that. Occasionally I say I will make sure I come in the am. It was really funny now that we look back at it. I’m just happy I called first cuz I so would of got my daughter up and ready to go to school and take her. Then brought her with me to my appointment after seeing her school is closed before I realized it was night cuz I was that out of it. How stupid would that be! Lol

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been very ill for almost 3 years and have been turned away from other Dr’s till we were referred to Dr Tackey. He is and amazing Dr and his staff Jay and Sarah make the visit a pleasant experience making an already scary situation a lot easier to handle. Jay sat and talked with us until we went back with the Dr and he is so reassuring. I don’t think I could ever ask for a better group of people to handle my daughter’s healthcare and I work in the medical field. To the clinical staff and Dr Tackey, thank you so much for the time and reassurance.

Fantastic experience: Dr Tackey is very pleasant and takes the time to explain things. This was by far one of the best doc visit I've had in a while. He gave a plan of action for treatment for a gout issue my husband is having. I'd definitely recommend him!

Fantastic experience: Truly a wonderful, wonderful practice with people who truly care about their patients. I trust them more than any other doctor I've seen. People who are so passionate about everything they do, even the little things. It's not just about pain relief, it's pain prevention. They treat the source, not just the symptoms. I came in with so much pain and no answers, and Deb has been the most caring and investigative of every possible thing to help as much as she possibly can. I'm so grateful for how much relief I've gotten not just physically but mentally as well. To know someone is willing to fight for answers and solutions when I've given up. So yes, 10/10, best medical practice in Delaware
