He owns and runs his small business, which translates into personal attention and fair dealing with his patients. He displays integrity, pride, knowledge, and curiosity. He practices the Socratic method, and thinks like a doctor. Which, as a health care provider, myself, I can say is quite rare.

Fantastic experience: I had pulled something in my neck. I couldn't turn my neck all the way. The pain went into my shoulder and down my arm. I delt with this pain for two years. Then I started seeing Dr. Mike. And After a few sessions the pain was gone. I could not believe it. I felt free to do all the things I couldn't do. Thanks Dr. Mike You Rock.

Fantastic experience: I went in to see Dr Mike for a total body adjustment because due to stress my entire body hurt so much. After seeing Dr Komro..I swear I was dancing out the door. I had to bowl that same night and even my bowling skills were enhanced from that adjustment. It's been 3 days and I still feel quite amazing! Fantastic experience: I have gone to see many Chiropractors through the years. Dr.Mike is one of the best I have ever visited. He is honest and I truly feel that he is doing everything he can to help me be as healthy as i can be. I have a chronic shoulder injury that he is treating and he asked me to give him a certain amount of time to make it better. He said after so many weeks let's regroup and see where we are at. He doesn't leave it open ended, he wants to make sure you are getting the results you are seeing him for. He also takes the time to discuss your issue with you and the best way to make it better, he doesn't just crack your back and send you on your way. He sincerely wants to help you!!! Negative experience: If I could give you zero stars, "Dr." Michael Komro, I would. I had been receiving care from Komro before being in an automobile accident in October 2016. He didn't have any issues submitting all of the services prior to the accident to my medical insurance. However, as soon as he found out my auto insurance was exhausted and I had signed a retainer with a personal-injury lawyer, he did an immediate 180 by drastically reducing my care (even though I was still in a lot of pain and far from back to normal) and refused to submit claims to my health insurance even though he was still under contract and obligated to submit them. He also went as far as to file a lien against me with the State for all of the services he refused to bill my medical insurance company for. To top it off, he attempted to sneak in service dates that already had been paid for by the auto insurance. Again, he did all of this while under contract with my insurance company, in which he's obligated to file the claims. If this activity isn't flat out illegal and fraudulent, it's at the very least highly unethical. It's about as low down in the mud as you can get. I would never recommend this chiropractor to anyone......ever! Run the other way as fast as you can. Their #1 priority is NOT your health, it's $$$.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Komro has given me my life back. A few months ago I could hardly walk up the stairs without needing to lay down from exhaustion. Little did I know I had many issues going on that Dr. Komro discovered right away. I am feeling so much better since I started at Affinity Chiropractic. My health issues are almost completely gone and everyone in my family is happy again!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mike’s approach to overall healthcare is amazing, it’s so much more than just chiropractic treatments. A co-worker had recommended him for his holistic methods; the use of chiropractic care, natural supplements and lifestyle adjustments to improve mind and body. I had suffered from severe PMS and had been on hormone therapy to relieve the monthly agony. Though the prescription helped the symptoms somewhat I didn’t like the side effects and really wanted to stop the prescription medication altogether. Within a couple of months of seeing Dr. Mike I stopped the prescription hormones and haven’t had any PMS issues—it’s been almost ten months! His particular chiropractic treatments have also been very effective, significantly reducing the number of headaches I would have and pretty much eliminating my neck and shoulder pain from too much time on the computer. Regular monthly visits to Dr. Mike really seem to keep everything in balance. Dr. Mike has also proven to be a great go-to when ANY health issues come up. A few weeks ago I had a health matter come up so I went to my regular doctor believing that is where I would find the proper solution and treatment. The doctor couldn’t come up with a diagnosis, thought I might need to see a specialist. It was a $300 office visit with NO SOLUTION! I reached out to Dr. Mike and he suggested a natural treatment. Within a few days I was good as new! Then a week later I came down with a nasty cold that was going around at work. After about a week I thought I was out of the woods but then it got worse, the congestion and coughing. I was afraid I had bronchitis so I made an appointment with my regular doctor for the next morning. But then I reached out to Dr. Mike; he suggested a treatment using items in my kitchen cupboard, said I’d be feeling better in no time. I gave it a try, figured I go to the doctor if the treatment didn’t work. When I woke up the next morning I wasn’t coughing like crazy, the congestion was breaking up and I definitely felt better. I cancelled my doctor appointment as I took another dose of Dr. Mike’s treatment. I LOVE having all-natural options for treating the body so effectively. I’m truly in awe of the healthcare the Dr. Mike provides, I won’t hesitate to contact him whenever a health issue arises.

Fantastic experience: I began seeing Dr. Mike for weight loss because of his advanced degree in Nutrition. I not only needed to lose weight but I was diagnosed as diabetic. My A1C was 11.5 after my first blood test. Three months later, after being treated by Dr. Komro, my A1C was 6.5. This is almost the normal range. I would highly recommend Dr. Komro for all of your weight loss needs.

Fantastic experience: After going to physical therapy, massage therapy and a different chiropractor I was told I just need to live with the remaining pain, it was radiating from my low back down my leg. Dr. Mike helped me fix all of this to be pain free! Dr. Mike is the kind of doctor who will help you get to the bottom of your pain/health issue when everyone else says they have done all they can. Fantastic experience: About 3 years ago, Dr. Mike solved a very painful shoulder rotator cuff partial tear for me in 6 visits, after my previous chiropractor couldn't assist me over two months. I suppose that different doctors have different treatments, but this wasn't the last time he was able to assist me with a serious issue. Since then, Dr. Mike has helped me with my other shoulder, a painful bicep problem that affected my arm and wrist, and a vertigo issue that was causing me terrible migraines, dizziness, and nausea. About 2 months ago, we were discussing my blood test results and high cholesterol. Today, he mentioned that he had been doing some reading about the link between cholesterol and stress and is now working with me on a solution. Good luck finding a chiropractor who cares for his patients more than Dr. Mike.

I've been experiencing sciatica and numbness in my leg for the last year and after seeing him over the last few weeks, he helped me learn specific exercises to correct the issue, find out what items in my diet were contributing to the problem, and used effective adjustment procedures to relieve the pain.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mike has changed my life. After completing my master’s degree and packing on 30 extra pounds of weight and consuming massive amounts of diet coke, I knew I needed to change my eating habits but I needed help. Dr. Mike not only gave me the confidence I needed to make changes but he gave me the tools to do so. From educating me, encouraging me, and providing necessary alignments and supplements, I was a different person within 2 weeks of seeing him. I haven’t had a diet coke in over 5 weeks and have lost over 8 lbs. - a major accomplishment for me as I hadn’t been able to budge the scale downward in over 4 years. Fantastic experience: I was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis by my primary care provider. Hashimoto's is a condition where the immune system attacks the thyroid. I have experienced many unpleasant symptoms due to this condition - weigh gain, fatigue, dry skin, hair loss, anxiety and depression. Fantastic experience: I made an appointment at Affinity Chiropractic with Dr Mike for plantar fasciitis in my foot, which was causing much pain. I was taking pain relievers on a daily basis just to get through my work day. Through a series of adjustments, recommended exercises/stretches and advice about proper foot wear, he was able to resolve all of my pain. When Dr. Mike and I discuss other physical concerns, he explains the importance of us working together with my primary care physician to come up with a plan of care that works best for me. Fantastic experience: I have suffered from TMJ for years. On one occasion, my jaw came out of alignment and wasnt closing properly, also causing extreme pain. Dr Komro was able to realign my jaw through a series of adjustments. He also went through various ways I could prevent TMJ pain in everyday life. Fantastic experience: Before seeing Dr. Mike, I had struggled with major anxiety, depression, and social anxiety as well, which all took a toll on my quality of life. I had tried multiple medications to try and relieve some of my symptoms but I never had any luck.
