Draelos Metabolic Center

Negative experience: Had an initial appointment on Jan. 14, 2026 which I waited for since Sept. 2025 (earliest available). Labs were drawn that morning (at the office) which were complete/available that evening through the lab website. A couple of labs were out of normal limits which would require medication adjustments and/or addition of other prescription/s. Left a message with the lab, as well as the office staff asking for a return phone call. I still have not been contacted, 2 weeks later. Would NOT recommend for evaluation and/or treatment.

Fantastic experience: I gotta say I’ve been a patient of Draelos Metabolic Center for 11 years . No matter what provider Dr Drealos has Assigned to Me, I always feel like I’m very well taken care of. I highly recommend Drealos metabolic center to anybody struggling with diabetes, low testosterone, weight, loss, etc. From the bottom of my heart, Dr Drealos thank you very much!

Negative experience: I have called over a span of 5 days asking them to place a prescription for me. Apparently their system went down and didn’t place the order. I called again today to ask them once again to place the prescription. They confirm they will do this and once again at the end of the day, no prescription has been placed. Due to their careless alone, I have gone without my medication for 5 days now. Embarrassing. Poor customer service and the customer does not seem to be a priority to this office.

Fantastic experience: If it wasn’t for Dr. Draelos I might not be alive. For sure, without Dr. Draelos I would not have a life. Simply the BEST.

Negative experience: They have incredibly incompetent people working in their office. I don’t have time to deal with somebody that is so sloppy and slow as they are.

Negative experience: Dr. Draelos is the worst doctor for biopsy on the thyroid. He literally will torture you and makes you never wanna do it again. 5 times I was poked and should only have been one. Dr. never cared. Took 2 hours for a 15 min procedure. I'm not a fan of staff, never calling back. You can never get meds called in. This place is a joke.

Fantastic experience: I am a 55 year type 1 diabetic, I started seeing Dr Drealos 3 months ago. I am now for the first time in perfect control of blood sugars. Thank you doc.

Negative experience: Very disappointed in this clinic. I’ve been three times & will not be returning after today. It’s clear they’re more about selling supplements & aesthetic services offered than actually helping someone that has an actual endocrine issue. I wasn’t planning on going back today but Dr. Draelos sent me a message telling me one of my test results were abnormally high, set an appointment to go over next steps. My symptoms have gotten worse so I made an appointment with the PA today. She couldn’t tell me why he said any of my testing was abnormally high because they weren’t. I sat in that appointment in tears the entire time because my health has gotten so bad. All she could tell me was to make an appointment with Dr. Draelos again, which I was told he is booked out until November. Before today, when he would give me tests to take at home, his nurse was always rude & asked why I needed so many tests. Every time he asked me to do a lab draw at a facility that is through my insurance, his office would never put the orders in & I would have to call multiple times before they did & most of the time they would enter the wrong test & id be back at square one. Maybe it works out for others but if you have something actually medically wrong & don’t want supplements or aesthetics, I wouldn’t waste my time or money.

Positive experience: Providers are amazing. Both Dr Draelos and PA Courtney listen and respond during appt. Don't expect to reach anyone by phone or through patient portal. I hope you don't have questions or concerns outside your appt time. You will NOT get an answer to any messages. My lab results didn't show up in portal. My refill request never got a response. Sometimes refill requests aren't sent to correct pharmacy. My previous insurance is still being charged on occasion.

Fantastic experience: Draelos metabolic center is one of the best clinics. Not only is the location convenient, Dr. Draelos is amazing as well as his PA Brock! He sat down and really listens, explains, excellent bedside manner and very caring! They have charts and tips on the wall that explain conditions and can honestly say felt very cared for as a person and not just a number. Staff is nice, as well, and I highly recommend this center.

Negative experience: I have been a patient at Draealos metabolic clinic since 2019. Save your receipts! During that time they billed me for a bill I had already paid. This situation happened TWICE! But they took care of the issue when I called them about it. Save your receipts! I also received some inaccurate charge for a small amount on my copay TWICE! They took care of this as well. Save your receipts! NOW there is an error on my labs and I was charged TWICE for a lipid panel. Once by Draealos and once by DLO. Save your receipts! They seem to make their mistakes in duplicate, TWICE! Save your receipts! At this point I think I'm just done with Draelos Metabolic Clinic. Save your receipts! I guess I'll just pay TWICE for my last lipid panel! The inaccurate bill that I got from DLO is only $21.85 and it's not worth having my credit destroyed by winding up in collections while I'm waiting for Draelos and DLO to resolve it. It is a small price to pay to be done with all this mess. Save your receipts! I'll be moving my medical records to a different doctor today. Save your receipts I always saved mine and it's the only thing that saved me from their multiple billing mistakes.

Fantastic experience: 12/10 stars. I have been a patient here for about 2 years. Dr. Draelos and his staff really care about their patients and it shows. They have always went above and beyond for me. They are always respectful and I always feel like I’m being listened to, which is very important to me. I recommend them highly!!!

Fantastic experience: Extremely convenient and accomadating with scheduling and office visits to fit into my busy schedule. Located in a nice Edmond, Okla. area with a clean and inviting atmosphere. Very short office waiting times (usually around 5 minutes, but always less than 10 minutes) with friendly staff that shows genuine interest and concern for my well being and medical concerns. They always make you feel like family with every visit.

Fantastic experience: Staff is extrememly helpful and kind. Scheduling was simple. Dr. Draelos explained in detail what would happen during the procedure. My experience was very positive and the procedure was successful!

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience here for laser hair removal. The staff was kind and made me feel at ease during the entire procedure and process. I would definitely recommend them for any treatments you may even be thinking about as they are knowledgeable and friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I'd use them again in the future!

The office has seen turnover over the years, while I do understand this is disturbing when dealing with health issues, this has not affected my health care. Fantastic experience: Brilliant and compassionate physician. Highly recommend for people struggling with weight gain, thyroid, diabetes, or hormone related problems. Office staff is very courteous and able to schedule me as a new patient within 2 wks. This is faster than I can get in with my PCP!

Negative experience: Originally posted 9/21/2020: I was a patient here for several years. I have finally been able to get into another group. My new provider asked that I provide them with my old ultrasound scans and records. I've been calling Draelos once a week for a month to request my records and nobody calls me back. I went in there today to request the records in person and they told me that their server has been down and their voicemail goes into an email that they are behind on. That's why nobody has called me back. I spoke to someone at the front desk about a week & a half ago. She said they would call me back a week ago. They didn't. Today they claimed they can have the records for me next Wednesday. We'll see. (Edit: As of 10/2/2020, they haven't called to tell me my records are ready.) While I was a patient there, I felt like they were more interested in selling me stuff than caring for me. They were selling some sort of health scan and also were selling supplements. It also seemed like they had high turnover on staff. I would come in and see a PA one time, but by my next appointment it would be somebody totally different. They also ran late much of the time. I do not recommend this provider.

Positive experience: I currently see PA-C Brock Vorwald. He is always thorough in discussing my care and test results. He is patient, listens and courteous.

Fantastic experience: I have struggled with my weight for years. It seemed like I was always taking care of everyone else and neglecting myself. I finally decided it was time to take care of me and made my first appt with Brad at Draelos Metabolic Clinic about 6 months ago. I really think this was “the push” I needed. The entire staff has always been so friendly every time I’ve been in the office. I have also been very happy with my progress and monthly visits so far.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient there for 3 years and have the best experience. From Dr. Draelos to his PA Brock, they are very thorough and make sure your levels are where they need to be. It takes a little time with having labs done same day but it’s nice knowing your levels at the time of your appointment. I would recommend them to anyone. Great provider and staff.

Fantastic experience: Just had my first patient visit today. This was quite possibly the most enjoyable visit to any doctors office ive ever had. Everyone was so patient and friendly, the staff listened to me when I told them my veins were small. and unlike every other time ive had blood drawn, they listened to me and went through my forearm instead. Dr. Draelos sat down and went over my diagnosis so casually with me it really was like talking to an old friend. cannot recommend this practice enough.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Draelos correctly diagnosed me with a hormonal disorder present in only 1 out of every 150,000 people and corrected my previous doctor's diagnosis of Type II diabetes to Type 1 in one appointment. This was two years ago, now. Not only did he save my life, his prescription of hormone therapy is responsible for my current and future heath and happiness. If you suffer from endocrinologic health issues, Dr. Draelos is the person to see.

Negative experience: Do not use this Dr. I was recommended to this Dr. by my primary care physician who I trust very much, so I expected to have a great experience. Unfortunately, my experience was very sub-par all around. My wait time was much longer than expected, the whole visit went much longer than expected and when it came time to actually speak with the Dr. I felt dismissed and unheard. They drew multiple tubes for bloodwork w/o telling what tests were being ran or why. They weren't able to provide flex account appropriate paperwork or invoicing either. All-around a not great experience. Dirty waiting room with an unpleasant smell that looked like nothing had been touched in years. I hope no one else has this experience.

Fantastic experience: I have struggled with my weight for quite sometime now and finally got the courage to seek help for it. Brad Mardis, at Draelos Metabolic Clinic, has taught me so much about eating, exercise, and weight loss. I began my weight loss journey in March 2018 and I'm very satisfied how everything has happened, although I wouldn't have been able to do it without the help of Brad.

Positive experience: I do like Dr Draelos, but I feel their has been a decline in patient service since moving to the new location. They do take a lot longer to answer calls. And follow ups are hit and miss.

Negative experience: Was a patient there for about 4+ years. Never once met the actual Dr. Had a different P.A. Everytime I went. They always run 30-40 min.late, it always turns into a 3-4 hour visit. Terrible. Just Terrible.

Negative experience: Front staff was friendly . They did take over a month to return my call about getting an initial appointment. Was very annoyed with the Ultrasound guy, he was rude and unprofessional . Overall seemed unorganized .

Negative experience: Dr is nice but the office doesn't return calls. I've been misgendered once (to my face) by a member of his staff so I have some concerns whether some staff don't return calls due to a patients Trans status. I have heard the same complaint from another trans individual. Despite the doctor being personable, this issue with the staff is causing me to find a different endo.

Negative experience: I love Dr. Draelos and his medical team, however, his office staff is terrible. No one EVER answers the phone, they never return phone calls and you never get to speak to a person. It's very frustrating for a patient to not be able to contact their physician.

Negative experience: Initial appointment went ok. After the appointment getting a response from Dr. Draelos medic team has been damn near impossible. leave 3-4 voicemails and have not gotten a call back. Terrible...
