Fantastic experience: I had been to the dr and the spine clinic over the past year but continued to have sacroiliac pain. On a fluke, I tried acupuncture w Tim. I did four visits and my pain was down 80-90 percent. I am back to walking three miles three times a week and then some. I waited to post this as I wanted to ensure my pain was gone. It has been two weeks! I can’t say enough good things about Tim. There is something to all of this. Additionally, I can’t tell you how relaxing the treatments are and what it does for your mind set. I want to go back just for that! He is reasonable, certified and efficient. He is kind and works hard to resolve your pain. Try him out!

Fantastic experience: I had not thought of acupuncture as a possible treatment for the psoas pain I was having until a relative recommended it as an option due to her treatment results after an athletic injury. I walked into Tim’s office with pain that had been ongoing for over a year. After only the first treatment, I felt relief. I did an initial series of four treatments followed by another series of four, of which I have one treatment left to go. After setting up the consultation appointment on-line, I received an email explaining what acupuncture is and what to expect on the first visit. Tim explained everything before each treatment and what to expect going forward. There were never any surprises and I appreciated that. Currently, my pain is under control. Fantastic experience: I've been suffering from migraines and pain from multiple surgical sites due to injuries suffered throughout my lifetime. But this time the medication traditional medicine prescribed to me was doing a number on my internal organs and no longer was working for my migraines, which incapacitated me, and isolated me, to the point where I couldn't leave my bedroom, couldn't hold down food, or even water. I was truly desperate, and my last resort after visiting the ER was to come pay Dr. Nicosia a visit. He came highly recommended by many of the locals here in town, so I decided to give him a try. Wow! After three sessions, my body started responding to the acupuncture therapy and normalizing, and he also gave me a botanical supplement called Micro Guard, which I believe aided with my GI tract stabilization, from all the Big Pharma medication I've been dumping into my body for years for pain and everything else. Dr. Tim, as I call him, was very attentive, methodical, and communicative; I felt as his approach was very logical, and made sense to me. I will 2,000% recommend Comal Springs Acupuncture to anyone and everyone dealing with general pain, illness, mental health, etc... I was a skeptic coming into this, but believe me, I when I tell you, that I was willing to try anything as I was desperate with pain and sick as a stray dog, and chemical medication, was making it worse! Fantastic experience: I went to see Tim in February 2023 after waking up with a severe neck pain/injury which occurred 10/29/2021... I had tried EVERYTHING... new pillow, muscle relaxers, fascia tissue release therapy, massage therapy, infrared therapy, new eyeglasses, chiropractic, stretching, neck traction devices... and the list goes on. Tim's treatments not only COMPLETELY resolved my neck issues in just 4-6 treatments, but he also helped me with my general health (sleep disturbances, stomach issues, anxiety to name a few). Fantastic experience: 1st time trying acupuncture. Had rotator cuff injury on both shoulders and some carpal tunnel on both hands. Tim was thorough about listening to my issues and explaining the process. Within just a couple of sessions I started to gain strength on my hands and more mobility of my arms. Within a couple of more, I also felt more energetic and was able to open doors, pick up my coffee cup, and other things that I wasn't able to do because of the pain I was in. The sessions really helped me feel better not just physically but mentally as well. Tim was always helpful, checked my progress, and ensured I was comfortable at every session.

Fantastic experience: Went to Comal Springs Accupuncture in order to get out of multiple aches and pain. Tim has helped a great deal providing acupuncture. With the aide of acupuncture and the sauna session that follows the treatment, the sauna helps get rid of toxins and helps stimulate blood circulation throughout your body. Fantastic experience: I have been dealing with a pinched femoral nerve for the past 7 months. It has resulted in complete numbness in my foot to the point that I could not flex my ankle. I had severe pain in my thigh and was unable to find a comfortable position. Tim was recommended by a friend and what a blessing! I have 90% of the feeling in my foot, the thigh pain is random and much less severe. I had never had acupuncture before and found it to be a mostly pleasant and effective relief for my issues. Fantastic experience: I have had a pain in my elbow for about 8 months. I had tried some excursuses and ice and other things with no success. The pain was debilitating and causing me to loose strength in my arm. I met Tim about 7 years ago and did not have the courage to try it. A friend had told me of his expertise that helped him a lot so i thought i would give it a shot. After the first treatment i found a significant improvement and i was almost back to normal. Fantastic experience: WONDER WORKER!! Went in for severe neck pain and a 6-day migraine. Tim relieved my migraine and alleviated my neck/shoulder pain. He was very thorough and obviously cares about the well-being of his patients. I will be returning for continued treatment. For anyone who is nervous about needles: the needles are completely painless. It is NOT like a shot from the doctor. Acupuncture is a completely different sensation. The needles do not go deep into your skin at all. For anyone who is skeptical of acupuncture: This treatment works. I was skeptical because I have lived with this pain for 10 years and found no relief, but Tim was able to resolve my symptoms.

Fantastic experience: I am SO glad I found Tim!! He has helped me so much with my anxiety/depression/insomnia. I was waking up 3-4 times a night at least, had major anxiety and bouts of depressive episodes throughout the day and they have drastically decreased. My sleep has also improved 100%. I no longer need melatonin to get me to sleep either! I’m back in the gym, my energy has greatly improved, my anxiety has decreased as well. If you’re on the fence about acupuncture, don’t be!! Fantastic experience: I love this place! I have been doing acupuncture on and off for years and I really like my experience at Comal Springs the best. Their prices and plans make it very affordable, which allows me to make it habitual. Tim the owner makes you feel very comfortable and he is great with the needles you really can't feel much of anything. The fact that you have comfy chairs to hang out in for as long as you like, verses a table to lie on, makes it very easy to relax and I think allows for more of a healing situation. Fantastic experience: Having Scoliosis, I have been relying on medications to deal with my pain for many years now. As someone who is trying to live a healthier life, I have wanted to try acupuncture for some time. I came across Tim’s ad at work, got curious and asked friends who have tried acupuncture. Those who have tried it said it helped for whatever it is they have been treated for and some swear by it. So I figured why not. I was a little nervous about the community setting, but once you are in that chair all nerves disappear. Tim makes sure you are comfortable and always asks if you have any questions.
