Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Reach Fitness for just about a month, and it’s already made a huge impact on my HYROX training. As someone new to this type of functional fitness, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the coaches and community here made it easy to jump right in. The programming is clearly designed with HYROX in mind. From sled pushes and rows to wall balls and running intervals, every workout helps build the strength and endurance needed for race day. The coaches do a great job breaking things down and scaling as needed, which really helped me build confidence in the first few weeks. Even though I’m new, I’ve never felt out of place. The gym has a welcoming vibe and a strong community that pushes you to be your best. Whether you’re training for your first HYROX or looking to improve your time, Reach Fitness is the place to do it. Fantastic experience: I started at REACH 4 months ago and I can't say enough about how welcoming, supportive, informative, and helpful this community is. I have no experience with lifting or crossfit, and REACH has been a great place to learn. Marianne has helped me every step of the way with help on nutrition, modifying workouts to my ability, and coaching to make sure I keep away from injury.

Fantastic experience: Updating my review! One year after joining Reach- I just competed in my first Hyrox race. I had never competed in an athletic event in my life- never even played a sport in high school. I would not have had the confidence or the drive to do this race without Marianne and the community at this gym. It is like nothing I have experienced anywhere else. I was able to get out of my comfort zone and do something I never thought was possible. We are extremely lucky to have this place in Powell- you need to come check it out for yourself!

Fantastic experience: I love training at REACH! I had no idea what HYROX was before joining this gym but you learn quickly and feel AMAZING after each workout. It’s tough and you push yourself but that’s what we are there for!! The owner/ staff/ and all of the gym goers are so friendly and accepting and help get you up to speed if you’re unsure of certain workouts.

Fantastic experience: I joined Reach around 2 months and I've really enjoyed the gym. After a few years off from CrossFit, Marianne was extremely helpful getting me back into the swing of things with their foundations class. One thing that differentiates Reach from other gyms, is the variety of classes they offer. This flexibility has been great and allows members to chose the class that works best for their current training schedule. The staff, members, facility, equipment, and programming have exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Reach Fitness is a premier fitness club here in Powell. I have always enjoyed group workouts, and as a 64 year old, I need good coaching. The gym has a welcoming atmosphere, and the coaches are very knowledgable and supportive in my quest to be fit and healthy.

Fantastic experience: The best decision I made. Programs and coaches are all fantastic. The coaches truly care you. No previous experience on crossfit. First 4 foundation sessions with Marianne provided a solid understanding of all new workouts and its mechanism. Actual classes also consist of a small group and programs were well designed enough to scale for individual needs/levels per coach’s personalized recommendation. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: REACH is a family friendly environment. Not only do I enjoy the classes, but our 8 year old loved the KidFit program. Whatever level you may be in your fitness journey there is a place for you at REACH. I was initially hesitant because of my physical shape, but quickly learned that the coaches truly work with you from where you are and help build you up.

Fantastic experience: After moving to the Powell area several months ago and wanting to get back into functional fitness after taking a hiatus from Crossfit, I decided to check out Reach Fitness and I've greatly enjoyed it. The mix of Crossfit-esque and Hyrox (new-to-me program) workouts have been exactly what I'm looking for. The knowledgeable and encouraging coaching from Reach owner Marianne and the other coaches has has been great as it has helped me get on track to reach my personal fitness goals. Additionally, the quality of the equipment and the facility, and the thoughtfulness in supplement/other offerings available for purchase there are nice bonuses that I appreciate. I highly recommend checking out Reach if you're looking for a growing community-centric gym that offers challenging functional fitness and strength-based training with expert coaches.

Fantastic experience: Tremendous gym! Spacious, well equipped and clean. Programming is on point and can be tailored to all levels of fitness. The strong suit, however, is coaching. I’m reminded of this at every early morning workout, where I am greeted by encouragement, direction and a sense of accomplishment after each visit. Fantastic experience: Definitely the best gym in Powell! it’s a very encouraging, friendly environment its like family. I’ve been working out since my mid 20s and now that I’m 60 it’s so important to do strength workouts. I am not as self motivated since I’ve gotten older so I like the classes and the fact there is a trainer always there to make sure you have good form. I would tell anyone to try this gym out. Weather you want harder workouts or just looking to maintain this gym will fit your needs

Fantastic experience: I had the opportunity to drop in for a class last week while visiting from out of town & I was not disappointed!! The atmosphere was very friendly & welcoming, both staff & the other clients. Marrianne is a great instructor, she was encouraging & positive while also challenging us to push a little harder. Fantastic experience: This gym is fantastic, and so welcoming! I was in town for the holidays and got a membership for the week so that I could get my workouts in. I have become a bit of a gym snob over the past few years, and I am very picky when it comes to where I work out. Reach was the perfect home away from home, and if I lived in Powell this would definitely be the gym that I go to! Challenging workouts, great coaching, and awesome people. Owner Marianne sets the tone as fun, safe, inclusive, and most importantly a complete workout. Allen the trainers are helpful with instant feedback as needed and create a trust to feel comfortable with the workouts. The workouts are challenging, as much as you need, and not boring! All the equipment is up to date and clean. Very importantly the gym vibe is extremely friendly and an instant community

Marianne, the owner, is wonderful and I really like her approach to fitness because it uses a small group setting. Whether you are new to starting a fitness program or a seasoned veteran, this gym will work for you. I'm someone who is just getting back into going to a gym after a 10 year break, but I love that there are folks who have been working out for years in my classes. Fantastic experience: I've been doing Crossfit for over three years now, and I love it! Don't be scared, or intimidated. Every single movement can be scaled, and EVERYBODY scales something from time to time. The community members at Legion XIX are amazing, and the coaching and programming is phenomenal. I hear so many people say; “Well I will try it once I get in shape.” Don’t wait, you’ll never be in the shape you think you should be. When I started over three years ago, I was NOT in shape! I have made so many improvements, and feel better athletically than I have at any point in my life. I continue to gain improvements in strength, mobility, and am doing gymnastic movements I never thought possible for an almost 50 year old guy! The new owner, Nataley Ward, is doing such a great job transforming the space with new equipment, and an awesome new Rogue Rig! Legion XIX is a great place, and a lot of fun! Come on out!

Fantastic experience: Crossfit 928 is an awesome gym, community and place to learn about fitness, strength training and healthy habits. I joined in Aug 2014. My strength and stamina have improved dramatically. I have also learned about healthy choices to improve recovery and or not experience as much muscle pain post workout. To improve my recovery and post workout muscle pain, they suggested taking a tablespoon of ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) daily. To my amazement, a month later, my body is recovering much better and I have not had the same nagging swelling issue since I started taking this approach. I workout at least 4 times a week at Crossfit 928 and I love the people, the coaching and the results! Thank you Darin and Katrina for building such a great community.
