Negative experience: Doesn’t give a crap about their patients. My grandma suffered a stroke and they were so quick to rule out that it was a stroke. They insisted it was dehydration, a uti, or vertigo. Then, they sent my grandma home with the left half of her body being practically paralyzed and her barely being able to breathe. Me still sticking to my gut feeling I have her go to bowling green medical where she was properly treated, she did in fact have a stroke, and if we hadn’t gotten her there sooner she would of definitely had another and not of been able to make it through it. So because of Dr. Patels lack of patience, his lack of listening, and his lack of empathy my grandma could have died. He took an oath and an oath I know well, he didn’t stick to that oath either, and he’s apparently not gonna remember it until something happens to his patients. If I decided to not follow my gut feeling and listen to the doctors at this hospital MY GRANDMA COULD HAVE DIED

Fantastic experience: I had to get an iron infusion done at Medical center outpatient Franklin,KY. My RN was truly the nicest most caring nurse that I have ever known. Tori Krantz went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and helped my mind be at ease. We need more healthcare workers like her that actually care about the well being of there patient.

Negative experience: I wanted to express my deep concern and frustration regarding the treatment my 83-year-old mother-in-law received at the Franklin Medical Center ER on April 9, 2025, 6pm. She has numerous serious health conditions, including advanced dementia, diabetes, and asthma. When she suddenly lost approximately 90% of the vision in her right eye, I immediately took her to a local clinic, where the attending doctor urgently referred us to a consultative optometrist affiliated with Vanderbilt, located in Bowling Green. After a thorough examination and imaging, the optometrist identified a serious issue behind her eye and, due to the severity of her case and complex medical history, coordinated directly with her primary care physician. Both doctors agreed that she needed to be admitted through the ER that evening to receive intravenous treatment and undergo an MRI first thing the next morning. The optometrist personally provided written instructions and his direct contact information for the ER physician, stating he would be on-call all night should any clarification be needed. Because of her dementia and need for familiar surroundings, (she has been a patient at Franklin MC numerous times), we specifically requested Franklin Medical Center for the ER visit. It is also minutes from our home, the staff at the facility has always been kind and compassionate, which makes this next part even more upsetting. Once admitted, we were stunned by the behavior of the attending ER physician. He refused to review the optometrist’s notes, failed to examine her eye, and completely disregarded the diagnosis and treatment recommendations. He offered no explanation other than he would transfer her to a hospital in Nashville with an optometrist, essentially starting the entire process from scratch. This is not our first disappointing experience with this physician. His dismissive attitude, lack of initiative, and unwillingness to collaborate with her established care team are unacceptable—especially in urgent cases involving elderly patients with complex needs. Since the offices of our mother in laws physicians were closed, we had no choice but to take her home and resume the process again the following day, losing critical time in treating a potentially vision-threatening condition. If her vision deteriorates further due to this delay, I will be considering legal action. Patients—especially vulnerable seniors—deserve timely, compassionate, and competent care. It is a disservice to the excellent staff to have a physician on rotation who demonstrates such disregard for patient wellbeing and continuity of care. Unfortunately, I will no longer be bringing my mother-in-law to Franklin Medical Center ER, and my family will also be seeking care elsewhere.

Negative experience: Just finished with an ultrasound and all I can say is frigid! The technician was cold and showed no sign of kindness. She was very robotic with zero compassion. I literally got up once she was done and left with the gel still on my side. I just wanted to get away from her.

Fantastic experience: Had outpatient foot surgery on 11-8-24. The whole process was seamless. Outside and inside was clean and taken care of. Receptionist was nice and explained everything well. Couldn’t ask for better nurses and anesthesiologist. They all did their jobs well. I like to cut up and make small talk and all the staff did as well. They were good to my wife while she waited and kept her informed while I was in surgery. Overall a good experience.

Negative experience: this place is the worst don’t send your children here nor anybody you care bout it’s not the nurses there it’s the lack of care the doctors have. took my child down there today because she was sick so they attempted to do a spinal tap. Then tried 2x and failed then told us to come to bowling green med center which 2 nobody go to Franklin med they’ll just send you to bowling green this hospital should be shut down Now she’s in bowling green due to inflammation in her spinal cord so help me god if my child has anything wrong with her after their visit they will be fighting a lawsuit I’m suprised they haven’t already false diagnosis etc very horrible no hospitol has ever been this bad in my life and to think you can do somthing and not know for sure their wrong and especially to try on a 9 day old baby. just go to bowling green in my opinion most likely be safer than Franklin the doctor told us after my girlfriend had a cervical check that he has a friend he sends the tools off to that cleans them for him and sends them back?? also I feel that should be a health violation most places just throw away the utensils especially for a pregnant person.also I hate to be this way and have to put this review but to be honest I rather save others from this cris instead of other people getting hurt.

Fantastic experience: I have had NUMEROUS planned outpatient foot surgeries for many YEARS! Every single time I have been cared for extremely well! Even though it is a small hospital, they can out perform many bigger hospitals nearby!

Negative experience: Just don't go especially call billing. You'll be told to shut up practically when you don't know what's going on to begin with. So glad I waited a while just to be talked down to by the billing department and then hung up on. Why spend the money on an attorney getting money from an unemployed disabled person when you could hire someone who is going to be helpful and try to answer unknown questions. That's why I don't live down there and sorry to those that have no choice to deal with that behavior and attitude.

Fantastic experience: Went in around 9:30pm on 2/27 was seen immediately. From the front desk, nurses all the way to doctor and supporting staff. Everybody was so sweet and gentle. I was overwhelmed walking in because I have really bad anxiety with hospitals. They made me super comfortable. Thank you Dr. Kochert for you and your team.

Negative experience: To the ER. On 10/06/23 at 2am i went in due to swelling inside my ear/side of face. Was in a room within minutes but immediately was told by Dr. Kenneth golden that i shouldn’t be at the ER for this reason and that it was annoying to him to have to deal with this at 2am because “he makes to much money for this situation”. Then went on to roughly force the otoscope into my sore, swollen ear and say it was external and not internal and then to put it back in the second time just to say the same thing. All while telling me to find a primary care provider instead of coming back to the er next time. He never once asked me about my any questions about my ear or the swelling aside from asking “have you been swimming lately” everything else was him simply telling me that I shouldn’t have been there. I left with ear drops (ofloxacin) that have only made it worse after one dose. Again the Doctors name was Kenneth G Golden.

Fantastic experience: Went in with chest pain and pain down my left arm and shortness of breath. They immediately took me back and the ER doctor surrounded me starting EKG and drawing labs and getting vitals. The doctor got busy listening to my heart and questioning my wife about what was going on and was I on any new medication. They treated me very well and were very courteous. They found it was my micro vascular disease causing the increased angina. They administered a breathing treatment before I left and told me any further issues call an ambulance next time and come straight back. Great service.

Negative experience: My son had to be taken there by ambulance, the experience he had there was terrible. After being released, he laid on the asphalt outside of the ER screaming in pain. I asked them to at least bring a stretcher to get him off the ground for which they refused, instead they called the police department to come there when his Dad asked them what kinda hospital let's his son lay in pain outside on their grounds. I have had bad experience myself there but what I went through with my son is unexcusable. What has happened to GOOD patient care. If you are wanting that, don't go to this hospital. I will NEVER go back there and if I or any of my family members needs care, I will be transported to Nashville. I would not even consider taking my dogs there. If there was some way to rate them lower than 0, I would.

Negative experience: This is the worst hospital I have ever been to. My 78 yr old mother fell and they told me she had a compression fracture and pneumonia. We had her transferred to St Thomas West. Nothing was broke and no Pneumonia. Worst experience ever. Never again !!!! And yes I will be contacting the hospital as well.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time getting medical treatment from this ER and I wanted to say how grateful I am for Dr. Dennis Pratt, the team of nurses and the ER tech. They gave top care to my situation. They listened to my concerns and were so kind and gracious. Dr. Pratt is such a caring doctor. The whole team and experience is definitely a 5 star. Negative experience: My problem is not with the staff it is with the medical billing. We had been paying them a bill for obviously our medical bills. They sent us to a collection agency faster than you can count to three and will no longer work with us about our medical bill which now by the way has a remaining $100 after only a year of paying on it. They made us pay attorney fees even though they were not taking us to court because they are money hungry (we missed two payments bc obviously short term disability isn’t enough to live off of). They did not care and would not work it out with us.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. They misdiagnosed my little brother twice. They kept saying they don’t know what’s wrong with him and that they would need to send him to a specialist. We decided to take him to visit another doctor and she was able to help us and told us the correct diagnosis. It seems like they had no clue about what they were talking about and they acted as if they had no medical training whatsoever. Constipation and impaction are not difficult to diagnose.

Negative experience: I was here to get a confirmation of a pregnancy. I miscarried in March so I had my mom with me for support and my toddler where I had no place else to leave her and a black nurse came in. She was so rude she kicked them out because my toddler was being loud. My toddler is 2. Absolutely not kid friendly and absolutely terrible staff. I am definitely finding a different family doctor. Monica is nice but she wasn't the one I saw today either.

Negative experience: Terrible place to have an ER. NO COMPASSION. I went in there for the worst migraine and laid there for 2hrs. Then I told someone if they are to busy for me even though I at one point had stroke symptoms they wouldn't even stop in when I was asking for help. I left.

Negative experience: Worst place ever. I went there for my right foot being in so much pain, I could not even walk. The doctor just looked at my foot, no blood work, no x-ray. Said it looked good and sent me home. That Friday want back they emitted just for them to give me the wrong medication for three days then talk about sending me back home. They sent me to a foot doctor just for him to send me to Bowling Green medical center, where the they found out I had three infections and they had to take my two little toes, and some of my foot.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING!!! If I could give this hospital 0 stars I would. I went to the ER 3 times in the worst pain I had ever been in in my life because I found out I was pregnant and they told me I was having a normal miscarriage and sent me home twice. By the time I was able to finally see my obgyn he had to rush me in for an emergency surgery because I had an etopic pregnancy that had been ruptured for up to a week and I was bleeding internally and was lucky to be alive! I lost my left ovary and fallopian tube which could have been avoided with a pill (my obgyn told me)I have since been out of work and now I'm having to struggle because this hospital does not have the education or equipment to save anyone's life. I almost lost my life because of this rotten hospital. 0 stars!!!!!
Fantastic experience: We have had multiple visits with our family members to the Emergency room in the last several years. We’ve had a great experience every time with prompt care. Dr. Flowers and Dr. Golden, along with their staff has given us nothing but excellent care! They are very thorough and explain everything in detail. They are very caring and patient. Negative experience: 4 hours+ for a covid test with insurance but someone with no insurance is in and out in less than 30 minutes....make it make sense for me.
Negative experience: 6 hours still waiting, the Dr sent my son over here. His oxygen level was low, it was normal when he got to the ER. Yet we are still here. No one has spoken to us, I asked about wait time and got a shrug, no idea. People come and and we sit now it's over six hours. The drink machine is broken with no sign. No water. Again over SIX HOURS.

Fantastic experience: My daughter was bit in the face by one of our horses this morning and needed stitches. This hospital got us back to a room as soon as we walked in. The nurses were kind and sympathetic. The doc was great with my daughter and helped her to relax. She had never had stitches before and is terrified of needles. Overall our experience was great. Very timely. It takes special people to work in an er of any kind. Thank you for helping my babygirl through one of her scariest experiences and helping her to walk out with a smile on her face.

Positive experience: I was in here tonight and let me say Nurse Carol and Nurse Jim was so very attentive and kind. The doctor was very informative. There was another nurse I do not recall her name however my children were all in the lobby and I was told by my eldest that she was very rude to my daughters. Had I heard her for myself she wouldn't have liked what I had to say. You are not the parent to my children. You were not very friendly even to me. I felt the fakeness. Other than the one bad apple it was a decent experience. Even the front desk was so sweet.

Negative experience: My brother was transferred to Franklin from Skyline where he was near death. He chose Franklin, his hometown to complete his rehab. On the night of Jan. 15 and morning of Jan. 16, he told his nurse that he could not breathe at least twice only to be ignored! His wife found him unresponsive. He was transferred to BG Medical Center ICU where he fighting for his life again. I want this incident investigated and I want the name of the night shift nurse!
Negative experience: The only reason you get 1 star is because theres no 0s to leave. Ive told my children to never ever take me there if i was dying. They have the rudest bunch of nurses at this hospital than i have ever seen. If i need medical attention at a hosp. Im better off to go to BG or Nashville to Skyline.

Negative experience: My husband and I just moved to the area, and had our first experience at your “hospital” this evening. My husband is 6’3 300 pounds and is crying in pain because of a tooth that has broken tonight. One of your very enept doctors gave him aleve and proceeded to give his speech about people abusing drugs and even insinuating that my husband smokes methamphetamine because of his bad tooth. I am well aware of people abusing the er to get drugs, but punishing those who actually need them is not the answer. If I have an emergency from now on, I believe I will just chance it to Bowling Green.

Fantastic experience: Great place for physical therapy. Staff is knowledgable and they are great at what they do!
Negative experience: The staff was lacking in every way from the nurse, to the lab, to the Dr. No one had any bedside manor. The lab tech could hit a vain to save her life, the Dr honestly said what do you expect me to do, as my wife miscarriages.its sad the lack of care and knowledge that this hospital operates with
