Fantastic experience: I was having back issues and just felt a little crooked. Dr. Balin got me straightened out and his therapist Saprani finished it with a great massage.

Negative experience: Dr Balin is an undercover male chauvinist. I had been going to him for over a year. In the beginning, he portrayed himself as a good Christian man with good values, which was why I started attending his center. After going to his clinic, off and on, for over the last 12 months, he finally revealed who he was. While I was on the chiropractic table, I made a joke that I was bad at directions ( we were not talking about anything serious here - simply small talk on how the day was going). To which he responded verbatim: that is because you are a woman. He did not apologize immediately. I confronted him directly and made it clear to him that was extremely mysoginistic and that I take my Christian faith seriously. He nervously laughed, played it off as if it was a joke. No one makes a joke like that if they did not believe it, especially in a situation where nothing warranted it. Compound this with the fact I saw his entire front desk staff completely turnover or the fact he had been late to numerous of my appointments and showed very little humility or apology. The man is a con man. Stay away.

Fantastic experience: I was reffered to TWC by the VA due to scoliosis, D3, Sciatica, and a couple protruding disc. I've had the pleasure of becoming a regular to this answered prayer of a chiropractic office. All staff are warm a welcome and Dr. Balin is the best! My favorites that keep me going: Deep Tissue Massage and Alignment! Defintely Highly Recommended!

Fantastic experience: This place is a pretty well run, clean, and professional establishment. I was very impressed by the staff's willingness to explain everything about the process and show us around. They were also very hospitable, with one of the employees going above and beyond ensuring my guests who were in the waiting area were comfortable and well oriented with the facility. The person who did my massage, in my opinion, was a miracle worker and was able to leave feeling totally relaxed after my session was over. They also offered complimentary water which was apparently filled with what looked and tasted like cucumber water I'm guessing. The water was good.

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Dr. Scott for a few weeks now. I am seeing progress. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The facility is immaculate. And let’s not forget the spa menu! I have had two massages thus far, by two different masseuses, and they were both incredible. They were only 30 minute sports massages focused on my targeted areas, however I have a 90 minute massage scheduled for next week that I am highly anticipating! I look forward to coming back for many more years in the future.

Fantastic experience: My coworker recommended this place to me and it was incredible! The clinic is beautiful and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I was very nervous/anxious and almost canceled because I'm a chicken when it comes to any body part being cracked. BUT Dr. Balin and his team were amazing about explaining everything to me and putting me at ease. I was so relaxed during the whole process that when Dr. Balin cracked my neck, it hardly unnerved me! He was so efficient and gentle during the entire adjustment process. He does not pull nor yank. Everything is very gentle and quick pressures. He cracked my neck and back like a glow stick! I was so happy with my appointment that my husband booked an appointment with them too. I cannot wait to go back for my follow up appointments!

Negative experience: Great massage. Great treatment. The front office doesn't do billing very well, and when there is an issue with the insurance company and payments they don't say anything. I went in and when I was paying for my visit, they told me that I owed an additional $200 for past visits that my insurance company didn't pay for. What?!? No other notification was given, how and why do you let it get to $200 before saying anything. Needless to say that was my last appointment with them.

Positive experience: Massage was not great at best. The ambiance in the room was bland. First massage I have had where massage oil was not even used. All though the therapist was kind, I won’t be back.

Positive experience: The massage was great but management has a whatever attitude. Looking for a better managed facility.

Positive experience: Loved this place at first. Felt like there was a genuine care for my overall health journey...questions were asked, recommendations were made (i.e. supplements, etc). I even felt inspired to do a 28 day detox earlier this year. Not sure what has happened recently, but the vibe and the adjustments are very impersonal and "run-of-the-mill." In and out in less than a minute. I can get that at The Joint for a fraction of the cost. Bummer.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place! Dr. Balin who is also a nutritionist and is absolutely amazing! He believes in healing from the inside out. All his tips helped me heal faster from my injury! The rest of the team Nylah, Mahwash, and Alexandra were all so helpful and definitely made me feel welcomed and at home!

Negative experience: I had the most basic and worst adjustments I’ve had from any chiropractor ever....seemed like they where more focused on selling you the supplements they insist you take but don’t tell you it adds quite a bit to the bill that they where dodgy about in the first place. Also this place was run out of a old house nowhere near professional the most professional thing there was the sign in but when I got there it seemed to be not working so they pushed me along and made me wait 45 mins for the doctor to be with me for a total of about 3-5 mins and do 4 adjustments

Positive experience: A very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Negative experience: They tell you your insurance covers the appointment minus a copay, and then it doesn’t. I specifically called to verify before booking an appointment. They drop the bomb that it’s not covered AFTER the appointment is over so you’re forced to pay.

Fantastic experience: AMAZING! Lovely spa, very relaxing. Staff so kind and professional. The spa was immaculate. Lovely aromatherapy throughout with the most relaxing music! This is the best kept secret in Katy and it’s right in my neighborhood! No need to drive downtown to Houston for a spa day, book your treatment today you won’t be disappointed. I tried the Body brushing with clay hydration wrap and hot stone massage. My skin was so soft and exfoliated after and the hot stone was awesome. You can shower after if you’d like. 5 stars all the way!

Fantastic experience: As a first time mom I struggled to get back to my healthy eating habits. Luckily for me, I was recommended to Dr. Balin. Dr. Balin and his wife Donna are the most caring individuals that I’ve ever had the honor of knowing. They actually introduced me to the 21 Day Purification Program which has changed my perception of nutrition. I've lost 4 lbs in the first 7 days. I feel amazing and my skin looks incredible :) . I have a few more days to go for the completion of the treatment and honestly I have nothing but good things to say. Thank you Dr. Balin for your advise. You are hands down the best Nutritionist in town.

Negative experience: Terrible experience and didn't even see the chiropractor. Showed up 10 prior to appointment, and after 5 minutes past the appointment time u asked if it would take much longer, and got told the chiropractor was still not back from lunch. Very unprofessional, like most other doctors in this country.
