Fantastic experience: For over two decades, I have struggled with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. Heart palpitations were a daily occurrence in addition to energy levels never reaching above a 5/10. Fantastic experience: I went to NHIC hoping my environmental allergies could be relieved. I have suffered from terrible allergies nearly my whole life. I have been told to just not go outside and to avoid grass, flowers, pollen, basically everything outside. I would wake up every morning with my eyes swollen shut and extremely fatigued despite consistently getting 7-9 hours of sleep. I would wake up and immediately start thinking about how excited I was to go to bed that same day. Nothing was fun, nothing was enjoyable, I was constantly tired and sleeping any chance I had, and even during the times I was awake my allergies were constantly causing me to have an itchy throat, sneeze all the time, have a runny nose, sore throat, swelling in my eyes, hives, you name it. Once I had graduated from college I was going to start the allergy shots. I reached out to my aunt who has allergies very similar to mine and she steered me away from those very quickly. This was when she told me about NHIC and how it had changed her life. I figured I might as well give it a try as my family and I wanted me to feel my very best heading into law school. It has now been three months since I started the program and I can say it has made a huge difference already. At the beginning of the summer I was just as miserable as normal, even having to leave my boyfriend’s birthday because my eyes were swelling shut. Even for the first two months I would wake up every morning with swollen eyes due to allergies I was having the night before and in my sleep. I have finally made it to the point where I am no longer waking up with swollen eyes. I have been off caffeine for the last five months and I feel like I am starting to get my natural energy back. This process has also aided me in multiple other ways. It has helped lower my histamine levels so I am not getting bloody noses all of the time, it has allowed me to cleanse myself of parasites, it has informed me and confirmed food sensitivities I have always known I’ve had, it has helped me mental health, reduced bloating, etc. Overall I have had such a great experience. Fantastic experience: My 7 year old daughter always sucked her thumbed daily. There was nothing we could do to stop it. She also would get hives with extreme cold. She had difficulty concentrating. Fantastic experience: I used to have daily flushing when I would wake up. For over 10 years, if I took long showers, I would get hives. Ever since a child, I would get nausea after breakfast due to a severe dairy intolerance. I would get charlie horses in my left foot every week. My nose itched constantly. I would get bloated after eating fruit and many other things. Fantastic experience: I started seeing Zoe in early February 2025. I had been having extremely severe symptoms of brain burning, heart weakness/pain, and vertigo, among other more minor things. These had been going on for almost 4 years when I started seeing Zoe; I had tried SO many different things with no relief. Fantastic experience: When I first started with the NHIC protocol I was having frequent and urgent urination, loose stools, and lack of energy among other health concerns. Dr Boyd was helpful with getting me on the right supplements for my body's needs, and giving clear guidance on dietary choices to support my body's healing process. Six months later, my ability to hold my bladder has returned along with increased energy levels, better erectile function, and more regular bowl movements. Fantastic experience: For 10 years I would have daily urinary challenges. Coffee would make it worse. I had a post nasal drip for 4 years and would need to clear my throat every minute, every single day. Even with the throat clearing, my sinus and throat never felt completely clear. My left knee and right ankle would always be stiff and painful when getting up since 2018. For a year, I had a dull ache in my right ankle. I had to take the elevator and could not go up stairs without feeling pain. Now, after months on my natural health improvement program, I can walk up the stairs with no issues. My ankle Is pain free, and my knee is doing much better. I no longer have the urinary challenges. Fantastic experience: Previous to Natural Health Improvement, it’s been a 10 year healing journey doing anything and everything possible naturally to heal with various modalities, practitioners, and treatments, but I have struggled to find a practitioner who could get a steady equilibrium to my health issues. Starting in April 2024, Gerald at NHI has helped me regain my health! I have received the steadiest of care, without neglect, and actually have a protocol for my health issues. Fantastic experience: I've had type 1 diabetes for almost 20 years. I was also diagnosed with celiac disease. I've been having low energy and muscle cramps. Some of my blood tests came back fairly high for celiac, and a1c for my type 1 diabetes. Fantastic experience: I started my Natural Health Improvement program after seeing my wife improve. I am an airplane mechanic, and a flight instructor, I worked for Skywest Airlines for many years, now i have my own flight school Good Times Aviation, I use harsh chemicals when i perform maintenance on airplanes, and fly frequently where I would get headaches once in a while. Fantastic experience: I have had almost 4 years of complicated health issues from allergies to histamine intolerance to adrenal fatigue to eye problems. Getting as severe as difficulty speaking, swallowing and gasping for breath. I have found the most help at the Natural Health Improvement Center. Fantastic experience: I had issues resulting from a covid vax*ination. For months I experienced lightheadness and shortness of breath. It affected my physical performance (I used to play competive baseball) and also constricted my singing capacity. I enjoy my creative time with the guitar, but was severely restricted with how long I could perform vocally. After a few months on my Natural Health Improvement program, I have seen great improvements in my stamina and my lightheadedness is nearly a thing of the past. Fantastic experience: This is the kind of office I was searching for a long time. Dr Gerald focuses on root of the problem and not just bandaids to mask your symptoms. I have went from being dizzy, extremely tired, ringing in ears, shortness of breath, weak and cold sores as well as laying down most days on end that was on a daily basis kind of symptoms to now lots of energy, getting so many things done in a day, focused, and back to full of life. Fantastic experience: I was concerned about about my breast health and received a thermography at the Thermography of Idaho. I have had a history of breast tissue irregularities since puberty. That included extreme pain and cysts (that would need to be aspirated). I had clicking in the knees, poor sleep and every winter I would feel extremely cold to the point I always slept with a heating pad on my feet. Fantastic experience: I originally came to the clinic because our family practice doctor had recommended it. I had had YEARS of insomnia and had made an appointment for a sleep study at a significant out of pocket cost. I saw Jerold and started the program along with my husband. Fantastic experience: I have had a history of getting extreme fatigue for an hour after lunch every day. I had daily bloating that would get really excessive 7 days before my period. My pants would feel tight. I also dealt with headaches when missing my daily coffee. For 19 years, I easily got bruises on my arms and legs and I wouldn't know where they came from. Fantastic experience: I was referred to the NHIC by the folks at the Thermography of Idaho. For over a year, I dealt with heartburn when laying down at night. I had to take TUMS to address that. I had daily bloating that was constant. It affected how I ate because it would get worse after meals. For the past 4 years, I also had hormonal imbalances and I would develop breast tenderness before my cycle. For over a year, I would get 2 to 3 hot flashes that would last a minute every day. For most of my adult life my bowel movements were irregular (I would go every couple of days). I thought that was normal. I would also chain sneeze every day. My stress and anxiety level was extremely high. My left eye would twitch when I got really stressed. After following my program, I no longer have hot flashes or heartburn. The bloating is 75% gone. Fantastic experience: Before I came here, I suffered from chronic fatigue. On top of that, a bright red rash appeared on my face and would pulsate, throb, and grow if I ate sugary foods or beverages (beer, wine, wheat, etc.). I was quite addicted to caffeine and if I stopped drinking coffee then I would start waking up in the middle of night, disrupting my sleep. Fantastic experience: I developed a full body rash with hives in March of 2023. It would get worse with sun exposure and blew up while bike riding on a bright sunny day. Also after being prescribed light therapy. The itch and rash was all over my entire body, except my face, hands & feet, it itched to the point where I could never get more than 4-5 hours of sleep. The dermatologist diagnosed it as atopic dermatitis and prescribed steroid creams and a kenalog injection. Fantastic experience: The decline in my health began to show itself in early 2023. I started becoming weak in all of my muscles. I worsened rapidly and in June of 2023 I went to the hospital and the doctors told my wife to put me in hospice, which meant they could do nothing for me. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. They said that I had 6 months to a year to live and I would never walk again, recommending I get my affairs in order and enjoy what time I had left. They did recommend hormone therapy and radiation, but said it wouldn’t cure anything, but it “might” give me a little more time. My kidney markers on my bloodwork were declining. I could not feel my legs from my hips to the bottoms of my feet. I was completely numb from my waist down and I could not use my legs at all, I could barely wiggle one toe. I had difficulty holding a glass of water with 1 hand. I was a bag of bones having lost a lot of weight. I was bedridden and relied on my wife to change me multiple times a day. I couldn't use the toilet for over 6 months. Even with being turned often, I developed open sores due to not being able to move much and laying all day for months. Negative experience: I wanted to UPDATE my review! The best advice I can give to anyone is to read the agreement that you're signing prior to receiving treatment from Gerald. The waiver releasing him from any liability or reimbursement if treatment doesn't go well. This will cause you to lose in court because of the contract that you signed. I am guilty of not thoroughly reading the papers as I'm sure most people don't read what they're agreeing to. Gerald lied in court stipulating that he never told me to stop my medication and to just take his supplements. I've been on my thyroid medication for 30 years and have NEVER stopped taking it. I did this because i trusted what i was being told by him. I believe the judge knew he was lying, but his hands were tied based on the paperwork I signed. All I have to say is that Karma is real and it will come back to him or his practice in some way, shape or form. All I can do is make people aware of his character, morals, and ethics as a business owner and as a person. I went to Natural Health Improvement Center to feel better, and Gerald put my health at risk. He took me off my thyroid medication and every time I complained of being tired and lethargic , he sold me another supplement or increased the ones I had. This put me at risk for disease and almost landed me in the hospital. You can literally do your own cleanse and skip the 1,100 dollar upfront fee he charges for his 10 minute office visits. One has to question his ethics to suggest that a patient stops their thyroid medication he is not a medical doctor. He has also refused reimbursement and wanted me to sign a waiver releasing liability if disease should occur. This was after I shared my bloodwork results and he realized what he had done. His supplements can be purchased on line and you can literally do your own muscle testing. I am reporting him to the Better Business Bureau.

Fantastic experience: Gerald has been an incredible guiding light on my journey to better health. From the moment I stepped into Natural Health Improvement Center, I knew I was in good hands. Fantastic experience: For the last few years I had been struggling with fatigue, brain fog, and frequent headaches and was lacking the energy to keep up with my 3 young kids. I was eating a pretty healthy diet and taking supplements but nothing was really working. Finally at the end of August I decided I needed help getting my health back on track. Fantastic experience: Every year around Christmas I would eat a lot of sugar. Don't we all? This would cause pain in my right side. I thought the sugar bothered my Lymph glads because it happened every year and then went away. Ultra sounds found nothing. For the past 2 years I have had Eczema and Psoriasis. All the Dr. could offer me was cortisone cream. Never got rid of it. Gummies helped a little but I still needed the cortizone cream. My finger tips and toes burned and got blisters. Fantastic experience: Our family of 7 have all been coming to the Natural Health Improvement Center. Gerald and his team have been amazing. One of our sons had a right shoulder injury that prevented him from throwing a ball without pain. He used to get dizzy and have headrushes with an occasional blackout for over 4 years. He no longer has those issues. One of my daughters, who was exposed to radiation, used to get 2-4 headaches a week for over 6 years. Now, she barely gets any headaches, and if she does, they're really short and mild.
