Fantastic experience: Kiera Emery had always provided me with excellent support and encouragement in helping me achieve my weight loss goals in the last 9 months. Though the name has changed from Medicap Pharmacy to VIDA Pharmacy, patients can still expect to receive the same level of excellent service! Star remembered me by name (though I didn't remember hers) and the new pharmacist, Nick, is very intentional about providing patients with the same level of excellent care.

Negative experience: Inconsistent refill policy causes long-term issues I transferred my prescription here hoping for a more supportive and consistent experience. The first month, they filled my 30-day prescription on Day 28 with no issue — exactly how my provider instructed, giving me a safe buffer in case of delays, weekends, or travel. However, the following month they claimed Day 28 was actually Day 27 because they count the fill date as “Day 0.” This flawed method pushes each refill a day later over time, which eventually forces me to go without medication, even though I follow my doctor’s instructions exactly. When I tried to explain and even showed the proper count on a calendar, my concerns were dismissed. This kind of inconsistency and refusal to acknowledge basic calendar math puts patients at risk and creates unnecessary stress. I won’t be returning and would not recommend this pharmacy for anyone who relies on timely access to their prescriptions. Also your response doesn’t remotely address the issue, my prescription was sent in on day 28. You didn’t fill it because you said it was day 27. Even when I counted on the calendar for you, you agreed to my face something was wrongs But in the phone the next day you acted like again, it’s normal to add a day and told me I can go somewhere else. Of course I will, I’m not going to go with out medication in a few months due to you adding a day. But gaslighting me like i’m crazy is nuts. Hopefully this error gets looked into.

Went through the process of getting a prior authorization even tho the plan was to transfer it to another pharmacy. Asked me to follow up with them to let them know how I was doing on a medicine. As a new customer who has to travel from an adjacent county to pickup prescription medication, staff has always been helpful, responsive to any concerns or questions and always displayed the very highest level of customer service. Fantastic experience: My mother has a serious corn allergy and needed to undergo an emergent surgery and be on several medications after. We dealt with two different pharmacies during this and Medicap was by far the best. They were very thorough and listened to all the information given. They did research on all the meds and told us what we could get and what wasn’t an option. Keara there in compounding was fantastic to talk with and we talked a lot. She was patient and explained things and made everything much easier during this process. I would highly recommend them. As an added note I also have the same allergy and use them for my regular compounding needs for things like acetaminophen and Benadryl etc that I can’t buy over the counter due to the corn in it and they are great as far as telling me pricing and filling it quickly and with friendly service.

Fantastic experience: After many failed attempts at getting my dog to take prescribed pill medications from her vet (used walmart pharmacy) I asked if there was any other option such as liquid. I was referred to Medicap Pharmacy on George Liles Parkway. Over the past couple of months my dog has made significant improvements now that I can get medication in her! The staff at Medicap are phenomenal not only with explaining, prepping syringes for easier use and adding flavoring (yes, even animal interested flavors), but by staying in regular contact with me on refills and even just calling to check in on my dog! I've NEVER dealt with such an amazing team, you only hear about those stories from days past, but Medicap IS the pharmacy you wish you had! I will never go to a pharmacy where my family is treated like cattle being called in - now that I know Medicap exists they'll forever be our go to!! Thank you guys for everything you do, you're in a league of your own!!

Fantastic experience: Medicap Pharmacy was recommended by my personal physician when discussing a prescription for “Semaglutide”. I was hesitant to order from an online pharmacy and learned through my personal physician that I could order through a local compound pharmacy in my hometown of Concord. The pharmacy personal were friendly, knowledgeable, and patient answering all my many questions along with friendly banter back and forth. This pharmacy has a great group of people….!!! I highly recommend you check them out for your pharmaceutical needs. I believe you will be pleasantly surprised with an old school feel of true friendliness of days past.

Negative experience: I have been going to this pharmacy for years. And the last two times they have given me excuses on not having the medication I need to get filled instead of just telling me that I cannot fill my prescription there anymore. They did not even give me a heads up and time to find another pharmacy. They put me in an extremely bad bind this month and last when they could of just been truthful. Very unprofessional place it has become. I don't know who the new owner is but this place does not care about the customer in my opinion any longer. They used to be a good pharmacy. but now will put you in a bad spot with your medication in a moment's notice only they won't give you a notice. The only reason I gave them two stars is because they were good in the earlier years. Otherwise I would give them one star for how unprofessional they have become. I wanted to come back on here and give an update because I found out something very disgusting. This place has continued to fill other people's same type of medication yeah I was told almost a year ago that they would no longer carry it. This is one of the most disgusting pharmacies I have ever dealt with. Why lie to someone that has given you so much money. I think it has something to do with insurance and whether they can make money off you or not. Whoever bought this place out is a horrible person for turning me away. They left me and such a bad spot when they would no longer feel my medication. I think if you pay cash then they'll help you out but if you have insurance they got some type of thing going on where they don't make as much money or something. Either way it's disgusting practices. Even though Walgreens is a corporate giant they have never turned me away and they always give me no trouble. But I just wanted to come on here and update because I was told they would no longer carry the medication and that was an outright lie. Really whoever the owner is you need to rethink your business practices because turning one person away and then allowing others to come there is disgusting. I'm going to tell everyone who will listen not to go to Medicap in Concord. To add an update I just found out that they have continued to fill other people's prescriptions of the same medication and yet I was told they would no longer carry the medication. I honestly think it had something to do with my insurance. They wanted to make maximum profits of of me and they weren't probably due to my insurance so they just lied and cut me off. Everyone else may have had a positive experience but I went there for years and just got screwed over by the new owner. Really sad to see these new owners coming out and run these places into the ground.

I am so glad I switched! The customer service is amazing, especially from Andy. He's super friendly and already recognizes me after just a few orders. Fantastic experience: I've been struggling with the availability of meds and lack of customer service at the two large pharmacy chains in close proximity so I figured I'd give Medicap a chance. I didn't have much hope but they had both my Rx's available and filled them in 10 mins while I waited (the guys across the street would've had told me to come in 2 days) and the pharmacist was so nice and helpful!! Medicap will be my new pharmacy for all my meds.

I would not trade the convenience of a 24 hour pharmacy for the service and the kindness and the dedication that this Pharmacy has for those who are its clients. Andy is one of the most kind and hard-working people I have ever met, he is always quick with a smile, and is so knowledgeable about all of my medication's and works so diligently to help me resolve any issues that may arise. If the feel of a Hometown pharmacy appeals to you,do yourself a favor and make this your Pharmacy.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Medicap Pharmacy for at least 13 years. I have always had my medicine in time or before time. They have a more than satisfactory delivery program. The pharmacy is under a new owner recently. I do have to say I had high regard and respect for the previous owner. Mr. Alan did a great job. However, there have been a few changes with new ownership. They have all been for the good of the patient. This pharmacy has never disappointed me. I put all my trust in them and have to give them 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: This Pharmacy goes the extra mile. I wish they were everywhere. However, I think that would ruin the charm of this place. They know me by name they get everything right they are always trying to get you the best price and they can even text you if you have the app. It truly does have that hometown for everyone knows everyone Pharmacy feel to it. They even deliver for a very very small fee. Their manager Andy is very knowledgeable and what he doesn't know he will find out for you he always does what he says he is going to do. Even when he's busy when I call he makes time to talk to me and I don't know how it does. (There must be 15 versions of him...) Recently they were bought by a new owner however, I don't see that anything has changed at all as far as customer service satisfaction or price. That is almost unheard of in today's economy. Sadly I moved and I wish I could take them with me but I did hang on for a while that's how good they are so if you're in the area I suggest you go there for all your pharmaceutical needs.

Fantastic experience: I have been doing business with this Medicap for quit awhile and I have to say their service and staff are fantastic. Anytime there is a problem getting a medication they will go to all lengths to find it for you and keep it in stock if you take it regularly. Alan, the owner/pharmacist along with Andy, the manager and the pharmacists are exceptional.

I am so pleased I started using this pharmacy as the staff treats you as family. Fantastic experience: I really wish I could give this establishment a ten. They routinely go above and beyond. They have worked with frontline doctors to provide the recommended medications to get us through COVID. We have had long COVID and our medication list has grown extensively. They have provided consistent, dependable, personalized service to our family to streamline and facilitate our needs. Last night they stayed late for a friend to provide desperately needed meds from the frontline Dr for COVID. This is not the first time they have stepped up to rescue us in a pinch. They are not constrained by the straitjacket of a megacorporation. They have the ability to actually take care of the patient. Until you get into a really serious situation you don't realize how tremendously important that is. They are always there for us.

Fantastic experience: After YEARS of impersonal, cold, and inefficient service at the big box pharmacies, we’ve at last found our forever pharmacy in Medicap Pharmacy. Our finding them was fortuitous...not surprisingly, CVS kept us waiting for almost two days on a script and became very rude when we explained in a panic how essential it was for our son to have his script. Medicap FILLED the script instantly, and we've had a steady relationship with them since. And what's more...it's not an impersonal relationship. it's not the standard orchestra music that plays over and over on chain pharmacies where you wait (oftentimes 25+ minutes for service)...with the Pharmacist Alan and Andy and all the staff at Medicap Pharmacy, it's direct connection WITH the pharmacist and staff. Always polite. Always pleasant...and ALWAYS helpful. Having several family members with various health conditions, Medicap goes above and beyond to make sure our children and family members’ scripts are always promptly filled...they’ve even gone above and beyond when we’ve been away or going away on vacation.  They promptly fill scripts when we need them without the ridiculous lagtime we found ourselves facing with the big box stores. They are so attentive and courteous, they even anticipate the scripts we’ll NEED filled. We couldn't be happier to have finally found a pharmacy like Medicap Pharmacy...we didn't believe they existed until now!

Fantastic experience: So happy I gave up on the chain pharmacies!! These guys are so friendly and helpful. I haven't used them long, but they are so much better than what we had!! Wish had changed a long time ago. No longer waiting in a long line for a prescription that was supposed to be ready and isn't. No more staff that acts like they could care less and are unfriendly and unapologetic for their delays or mistakes.And the prices are the same or better.

They also helped us with cbd information as we dealt with lots of anxiety in our home. Thrilled to say we now have a child overcoming anxiety with giant leaps all because of cbd oil and the information provided by the Medicap staff. Highly recommend this pharmacy if you desire to know your pharmacist.

Fantastic experience: I have been with this pharmacy for 7 years now and, I would not go to another pharmacy. The pharmacist and I have a few heated arguments but that's family. I have no plans to change. The pharmacists will work very hard for his customer. love all of them

Negative experience: The pharmacist is rude, I understand the amount of volume they take in. However, if you can not take the pressure hire more techs, or find another profession. I called to clarify a prescription that was supposed to be an ointment not a cream. The guy was just rude.
