White Oak Animal Hospital - Clinic & Holistic Telemedicine: Reviews
Fantastic experience: I have many animals and they are wonderful to me and my pets.
Fantastic experience: I've been taking my animals to WOAH for awhile. I've gone to other vets before but the care here is unmatched. I recently came for my dog due to some symptoms and Dr.Danbridge and his staff were so kinda and caring. My buddy has cancer and instead of pushing chemo and expensive medications he was honest about his thoughts and recommendations never pushing to make more money. They've even reached out to me to see how he was doing. Truly appreciate it.
Hi Kristina! Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It means the world to be able to support you and Titan during such a challenging time. We're truly grateful for the opportunity to walk with you through this journey and provide care that aligns with your values. Please know we’re always here for you and crew, and we’re sending Titan all our love and support.
Fantastic experience: If you have dealt with Stacy at the front desk, it makes my day when she answers the phone. I like dealing with one person when I call with questions or concerns and she is the best. She answers my questions, and if she doesnt know the answer, I know she'll get back with me. The staff and Dr. Damron have taken great care of Buster. He had some issues with an eye several years ago, and thanks to Dr. Damron they're gone. Both ACL's have been torn (a month apart) and everybody was great! We have also boarded him several times, felt very confident leaving him, knowing a vet was nearby.
Hi Carmen! Thank you so much for this thoughtful review. It’s truly a privilege to be part of Buster’s life and care. We’re so happy to hear how much you appreciate Stacy—she cares deeply about every client and pet, and it shows! Supporting you through Buster’s eye issues, ACL recoveries, and boarding needs has been an honor. We’re grateful for your trust and are always here to help however we can. Please give Buster some love from all of us!
Fantastic experience: Best vet in town, bar none. We’ve gone to every single vet in town and this staff is the friendliest, most educated, and most affordable. Unfortunately a lot of vets take the urgency of your pets condition as an opportunity to squeeze more money out of you. White oak does the opposite- they truly care for your animal and work with you and what you can afford. That’s very hard to find these days. Stacy is a gem and is so knowledgeable and so friendly, her kindness and high intellect with our pets condition is what attracted us so much to white oak. Best staff, best doctors, best nurses. We cannot recommend this place enough we are taking all our animals here.
Bryan, Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words. It’s truly an honor to care for your animals and support you as a pet parent. We know how important it is to feel heard and understood—especially when your pet’s health is urgent—and we’re grateful for the chance to walk that journey with you. Stacy will be so touched by your recognition! We're here whenever you need us and we feel blessed to serve you and your pets.
Fantastic experience: The staff was great. We had a small emergency and they got us right in. Very friendly. The vet made an effective and thorough diagnosis and our pup was back to himself in no time!
Thank you so much for your kind words! It means a lot to hear that you felt supported by our team and we're so happy that Sunny Boy is feeling better!
Fantastic experience: We switched to Dr Damron after another vet in the area was adamant that we put out dog down. We saw Dr Damron and that dog lived another happy healthy year. White oak seems to care more about the pet than the pocket book.
Chase, Thank you so much for your kind words. We’re truly honored to have been part of your dog’s journey and are so glad you found hope and healing with Dr. Damron. We’re deeply grateful you trusted us during such an important time. Your feedback means the world to our team.
Fantastic experience: I love visiting White Oak Animal Hospital with my dogs. The care is top notch and they make you and your pets feel so cared for. Highly recommend.
Gillian, Thank you so much for your kind words and recommendation! We love seeing you and your pups and are so happy to hear you feel truly cared for—that’s always our goal. It means everything to us to know you trust us with your pets’ health and happiness. We look forward to your next visit!
Negative experience: Im not one to leave a bad review but I think the public deserves to know certain experiences. My mother took her maltapoo to this vet yesterday because he had a brown spot that she couldn’t tell if it was a tick or mole. My father just passed away and he took care of their vet needs so this was already a stressful experience for her. I wasn’t available to go with her so she went alone. The male vet (don’t know his name) looked at her dog and said it was a mole and nothing to worry about. She said as soon as she walked in the vet seemed very preoccupied and not interested. She told him her husband passed away and he said “good”. Good!? He then looked at the mole, said everything was fine and then charged her over $140. For what!? He literally looked at a mole. But he didn’t even take time to acknowledge my mom’s husband just passing. She said she will never return. She said he acted like he didn’t even care and was completely not present, so much so that when she told him her husband passed he said “good”. If you’re going to be a vet, CARE. Be kind. And don’t charge a senior living on a fixed income $140 to simply look at a mole! They did nothing other than look.
Jason, Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns with us. We are deeply sorry for the loss of your father and understand how difficult it must have been for your mother to bring her dog to the vet during such an emotional time.
We sincerely apologize if your mother felt that Dr. Damron's demeanor was anything less than compassionate. This certainly does not reflect the level of care we strive to provide every patient and their families. Dr. Damron has always been committed to offering attentive and empathetic care, and we are concerned that there may have been a miscommunication during the visit. It’s possible that while Dr. Damron was focused on examining the dog, something he said may have been misunderstood. We can assure you that he would never intentionally respond insensitively to such personal news.
Regarding the $140 charge, the fee covered a comprehensive examination, including the diagnosis of a sebaceous cyst (not a mole), a nail trim, and the prescribed medication to address the cyst. We understand that every dollar counts, especially for those on a fixed income, and we always aim to provide valuable care at a fair price.
Please know that your feedback is taken seriously, and we will review this situation with our team to ensure that every client feels cared for and heard during their visits. We would also like to extend an invitation for you or your mother to speak directly with our clinic manager so we can discuss any further concerns or clarify the visit in more detail.
Again, we are sorry for any distress this situation has caused. We value your trust and hope to have the opportunity to provide a better experience in the future.
Fantastic experience: After a terrible experience at another local vet we found White Oak and couldn’t be happier! They are always so accommodating and love on Winston!
Tiffany, Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear that you and Winston have had a positive experience at White Oak Animal Hospital. We appreciate your trust and look forward to seeing you both again. Thank you for choosing us for Winston's care!
Negative experience: They are the worst communicators. We've been using them for a couple years and have never met the vet or spoken to him on the phone, but when you are there in person if you ask to see him he is always "on the phone". The final straw for us was the last visit where they gave us two options, we picked the more expensive option. It wasn't until a couple of days later when we removed the bandage and found they did the cheaper option. They didn't tell us at pickup of the change, just instructions for when to remove the bandage. They still charged us for the more expensive option. After we removed the bandage and saw what had actually been done, I called to get an explanation and ended up playing phone tag for a week with the vet techs, no effort from the actual vet. Still no explanation, so we're done with them. Hope his online business is doing well because he apparently doesn't care about his vet practice.
Fantastic experience: I've been taking my pets to White Oak for several years now. They have always taken good care of them with their knowledge of pet care. Thank you for all that you have done.
Thank you for your many years of business and kind words Ms. Lisa! We appreciate you and your fur babies.
Fantastic experience: Annual visit time for our old girl who has health issues. Doctor's good, sound medical practice and very kind, compassionate staff have kept us coming here for decades. Dr.D called the next day to discuss lab test results, time well spent. We do and have recommend White Oak Animal Hospital for your pet care.
It's always a pleasure to see you and your pets walk in our door Mr. Mabry! Thank you for your many years of business, the kind words and the many laughs.
Fantastic experience: Love White Oak for my fur babies! Stacey is super nice & the doctor knows he stuff! Will always be back!
Fantastic experience: Was in town visiting parents and one of their recent rescues got sick. Called them when theu opened, they rushed our fur baby in and immediately began working on her. They were very supportive and without knowing much without running test explained to us what was going on. We are still waiting for results but no matter what the outcome, I will always be grateful for the way we were treated.
Thank you, Danny! We appreciate the trust that you and your family placed in us during a very difficult time.
Negative experience: I read some of the reviews for Dr Damron, however our experience was not a good or professional one. My husband and I have a cat that has always had a skin disorder that's is like excema although I was told that cats don't get that from him. I warned the tech that her flanks were EXTREMELY touchy and that she was already stressed to the max, or insinuated as much. I have always stayed with her and kept her calm. Our other Vet couldn't see her until the 25th so we went to them. He was arrogant, sardonic, and spoke condescending to us both! To shorten this I will say that yes she was VERY AGITATED and I didn't expect it to go well. He charged us $105 for an "examination" which didn't happen,I do understand that it was stressful for them. I cautioned her as best I could about Kit's state of stress and pain but I thought that vets knew how to handle agitated animals Here is one couple that WILL NEVER grace their doorstep again... Kit is still hiding. Not that he wants us to! Sincerely, James and Mary Graham
Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback about your experience. We are sincerely sorry you aren't happy with your experience at White Oak. Our veterinarian and staff care deeply about the healing of all patients and have made veterinary medicine their life's work. We never intend to make anyone feel uncomfortable or talked down to. We make treatment recommendations with the patient's best interest at heart. Treatment recommendations vary with each situation and are based on each pet's individual characteristics. If you have any additional questions about the treatment plan we offered, please contact us.
Fantastic experience: Always professional, both doctor and staff and the ONLY place l take my kitties.
Thank you, Mr. Andricks! We appreciate you and your fur babies.
Fantastic experience: I love Dr. Damron and his staff. They have helped us through losing our pets and welcoming new ones. They are the only ones I trust my pets with. They are extremely Honest and make sure we know all the current information for my pet's health.
Thank you for your kind words, Ms. Jessie! Your pets are always a pleasure to work with, as are you guys!
Negative experience: Within the hour of an office visit my dog had passed away. They had no compassion it was a very cold demeanor.
Hi Ms. Proctor,
We are very sorry you feel this way. Our intentions are to always have the upmost compassion for our patients, as well as our clients. Our staff attentively awaited your arrival when you called stating that you were returning. We are very sorry for your loss.
Fantastic experience: As dog trainers we are very particular with the veterinary care of our furry family members. I have over 40 years of experience and my wife has almost 10 years. I have worked very closely with veterinary hospitals and am very familiar with the day to day operation. White Oak has treated us as family since day one. They helped us with our 14 year old min pin/mini greyhound mix as her health declined and age took its toll. They were sympathetic to her passing and we could feel the amount of care they had for not only us but our beloved Peanut. Dr. Damron and staff has always taken time to answer any questions we had. We have also been able to call and have any quick questions answered. When one of our pups had a loose stool, they got us in right away and he was back to normal in no time. Our dogs range from 4.5 months to 9 years and have received excellent care in each stage of their life. Being in the dog profession we highly recommend White Oak Animal Hospital!
Thank you, Mr. Brooks, for your loyalty and support! You guys rock and are truly one of the best at what you do.
Fantastic experience: Caring and compassionate Veterinarian and Staff.
Thank you!
Negative experience: Killed my friends dog
Hi Malachi, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback about White Oak Animal Hospital. However, we don't see your name in our system as a client. Please give us a call at (615) 799-7981 to give us further information about your experience.
Fantastic experience: White Oak saved my girl Delta Blue! Kiddos and thanks to Dr. Damron & his team, Ya’ll rock! I think Jamie & Tori deserve a raise Thanks again, Angel Cropper
Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this place. I love the people!! They are always happy to see my Luna. She is always happy to see them. In fact , as soon as we walk in the door she starts whinning and barking for them to come see her. This place is very professional and caring.
Fantastic experience: This facility and their staff is incredible. Our cat had bladder stones and we needed some help quick. Everyone I called including OUR vet gave me a little bit of a cold shoulder saying they were maxed out with furry patients. I get it and I'm sure White Oak is just as busy. But Chelsea, Stacy, Dr. Casey Damron sensed our desperation and made room in the schedule for Brody's emergency bladder stone operation. On top of all the caring kindness, the surgery came off perfectly and our goofy cat is back home. When we brought him home and let him out of the cat carrier our other pets said "you smell weird" ❤️
Fantastic experience: This practice was able to see my cat quickly when I called in with an emergency. Dr Damron was extremely knowledgeable and diagnosed my cat quickly. They cared for him over a 9 day period and saved his life. The staff here are very professional and kind. If you are in need of an ethical vet I highly recommend White Oak.
Negative experience: My dog had a large laceration that needed to be stitched up. I came to this animal hospital, where I was told to wait until tomorrow because they were on lunch and had other appointments that afternoon. WOW, I guess the dog should have scheduled an appointment before getting hurt. I went to Williamson county animal hospital where he was fixed up in 45 minutes. It was worth the drive to work with a place that treats you and your pets like their own family, unlike this Business. Don't call yourself a hospital if a cheeseburger takes priority over an emergency.
Hello Mr. Abbott. I apologize that you misinterpreted the options we gave you yesterday. When you came into our clinic, our doctor had already left for a lunch meeting. We offered for you to leave your dog (at no extra charge) so we could address him as soon as we could. We offered to fit you in to our afternoon appointment schedule. As far as waiting until tomorrow for the laceration repair, some repairs are done the following day for anesthetic safety, which would have been determined upon the examination.
Fantastic experience: The entire staff at White Oak is phenomenal. The whole front team is great and informative, they always answer any questions I have about my fur-babies (especially all the annoying puppy questions I bother them lol!). Dr. Damron and his team helped me through one of the hardest things, after learning that my cat had a kidney infection he wouldn’t survive. Dr. Damron and his team guided me through the steps of putting down a fur-baby and were so gentle and caring through it all. They are absolutely the best in town and in the area.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff wouldn't give up on my dog when other vets wanted to I couldn't say enough good things about them
Thank you, Krystal! ❤️
Fantastic experience: Top notch customer care❤️

Fantastic experience: I needed flea pills for my dogs and stopped in. They were very courteous and nice!
Thank you for the kind words! We appreciate you! ❤️
Fantastic experience: My 10 year old cat had a lump form on her face. I called at 8:45a on a Saturday and despite Dr. going on vacation at the end of the day he was willing to squeeze me in before he left for his vacation... The staff over all was great and took very good care of my Daisy and draining her abscess. And let's talk about the bill....affordable I was honestly expecting it to be more with it being a squeeze in and I had never been to them before. Thank you for taking care of Daisy I will definitely be returning with my other cat and dog for their needs.
Fantastic experience: I LOVE the staff at White Oak Animal hospital! They have been so accommodating to me and have advised on the very best care for my pets. THANK YOU for being the best part of Fairview, TN!
Fantastic experience: Dr. Damron and his crew have pulled two of my senior dogs off of death's door more than once. Very, very knowledgeable and supportive of alternative therapies.
Fantastic experience: By far the best there is! Dr. Damron has been taking care of our "kids" since White Oak opened and has always taken care of them like they were his own. Chelsea & Stacy are always friendly and helpful in so many ways. Would not go any where else.
Fantastic experience: Dr. Damron, Stacey and Chelsea are the greatest! Dr. D is straight forward and to the point. He doesn't sugar coat anything. He is honest and up front about treatment and costs and any alternatives for care that are available. I won't take my fur babies any where else and I wouldn't recommend any other vet.
Fantastic experience: Excellent vet and staff!! Highly recommended!
Fantastic experience: I have been bringing my pets to White Oak since 2000. Dr. Damron knows his stuff, is professional, upfront, honest, an incredible surgeon, and he always takes the time to answer all my questions and concerns. Stacey is compassionate, kind, and will do whatever she can to accommodate scheduling, pick-ups, and drop-offs, and Chelsea is caring and sweet and an awesome vet. tech. The three of them together make an incredible team. I always recommend White Oak Animal Hospital to my friends and family. Dr. Damron, Stacey, and Chelsea are the best!
Fantastic experience: Stacey at the front desk is so wonderful, and Dr. Damron is thorough and a great clinician!
Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing people!! We went through a very difficult time with our cat, and they were absolutely amazing and so compassionate.
Fantastic experience: What a great bunch of people. I have been going there for years and I have never had a bad experience. They have always taken excellent care of my babies and been very accommodating.
Fantastic experience: I have been taking my pets to Dr. Casey Damron at White Oak Animal Hospital in Fairview, TN since 2003. I currently have two Collies and four cats under his care. Dr. Damron is a fine, compassionate vet who takes excellent care of his patients and their owners. He is very knowledgeable in Eastern and Western medicine and gives treatment choices, the pros and cons of each and the costs when a pet is having problems so the owner can decide what course to take. He is a man of integrity. His prices are fair, and he doesn’t try to up-charge. His staff is amazing, too. Stacy and Chelsea are friendly, professional, knowledgeable and caring. I love my animals and want only the best care for them. That’s what they get at White Oak Animal Hospital. I highly recommend Dr. Damron and his staff to all who want the best care for their pets.
Negative experience: Bring your wallet! Prices are inflated and Dr. Casey is very unsympathetic to the fact. I took my 12lb minpen in for a "hang nail". His dewclaw had cracked and was hanging loose causing him discomfort. I took him in during normal business hours and walked out with a bill of $217.00. No surgery required, just the removal of the hanging nail. I was in and out with in 30 minutes. I was not made aware of the enormous fees until after the fact. I sent Dr. Casey an email stating that the middle class family can not afford these fees and that they should be informed prior to the services. He only made excuses and offered no regret. There weren't any reviews on Goggle when I made the appointment and this is the FIRST time in my life that I have EVER written a negative post about any person or company. I just felt that people need to know what they are in for.
