Fantastic experience: This is going to be a three-part review. The beginning of my treatment the halfway point and the final results. I am very pleased with the professionalism and the friendly staff they are very knowledgeable and explain to you what needs to be done. It's still early on in my treatment but I'm very optimistic that I will get positive results. I will definitely keep my 2.5 million+ people that I've seen my reviews updated. 1/3 OF THE WAY THROUGH. I am 1/3 of the way through my treatment. And even though my progress is slow Things very positive are starting to happen. My lower back pain is slowly starting to dissipate and I can almost stand up straight. When I first started this treatment all I could do was hunch over and look at the top of my shoes with lots of back pain. I'm very happy with the progress. I'll keep you posted on the halfway point. HALFWAY THROUGH I was really skeptical when I first started. Because I was in so much pain And the VA (Veterans Administration) Being a Navy Veteran The VA told me the only way to fix my back was surgery. So with a little research I found the Disc Center of America. The professional friendly knowledgeable staff explain what was going on with my lower back after an x-ray. Now I'm on my way to a full recovery. Imagine the thickness of your disc as a deck of cards. My lower back disc L3,4,5 were like 10 cards thick. Now with the treatment I'm receiving from DCA I'm adding one more card every treatment. Eventually I'll have a full deck and my active lifestyle back. ONE VISIT AWAY FROM MY FINAL TREATMENT. Well tomorrow's the day my last treatment and then take an x-ray so we can see the before and after results. I'll do a final recap next week how my treatment went and the final results. X-RAYS AND REVIEW Well today was my Evaluation on my progress. I finished all the scheduled DRX9000 spinal Decompression Machine and I have to say the disc in between my vertebrates are looking good not perfect but vast improvement.. I can actually walk around and stand up straight not hunched over looking at my feet. They scheduled me for a 5-week session of working on my balance which I need And I purchased these orthotics to go in my shoes which will help a lot. I'm not 100% Yet but I'm closer than I've been in a long time with a lot less pain. Now it's time to start working on my strength and balance to prevent any future injuries. The Disc Center of America took Good care of me. I would 100% recommend them to anyone suffering from lower back pain/Sciatica. Stay tuned for more to come.. UPDATE: 9-11-2025 With a little patience and hard work I would say I'm about 95% Recovered. I went to the gym for the first time in 5 months since injuring my back. A light workout But at least I'm back. The team at the disc Center of America are amazing. I've recommended half a dozen guys that I know to this place. Thank 2026 It's nice to have my life back. Negative experience: I was showed my mri and not read the results. i was told i had narrowing of the spinal cord which is spinal stenosis. i was quoted $13,000 and presented with a high pressure sales tactic. A needle was put in from of me as an example and told i may be rushed for surgery and then he could not help me. i had two more consultations that confirmed i don’t have stenosis or narrowing of the spinal cord. i read my mri which confirmed the same. i am getting treated for my bulging disc at less then half the price with a qualified trusted chriopractor. the front desk staff was pleasant and the gentleman that assisted with my xray. But was asked twice by the man that gave me a tour of the office if i was married then if i had a boyfriend to bring to help make my decision. i answered the first time that i make my own decisions and there was no need to keep asking. I spent weeks believing i had stenosis which was extremely scary and depressing. if you do go here get a swine opinion there are multiple offices with the same machines

Fantastic experience: In late December I had really bad pain in my lower back and shooting pain in my left leg (sciatica). It was so horrible I had to go to the ER and they told me it was piriformis syndrome? Gave me medication, stretches to do and told me see my PCP. Finally in January got to see my PCP who also prescribed medication and physical therapy and an MRI. Once my MRI came back. PCP sent me over to Nevada & Spine Orthopedic. Went there twice for some reason the 1st appt was for my lumbar hips which they said to keep up with Physical Therapy, and the other one was for my lower back? That doctor said surgery right away I explained to the orthopedic that I would like to get a second opinion only because surgery is not guaranteed. After, looking at other doctors in the area. I found Disc Center of America on IG. Called them up to set up a consultation. Dr. Swolensky was a bright sunshine in my life. He understood what I was going through and how tiered I was hearing about medication and physical therapy which both didn't work. He explained my MRI and Xray no other doctor has. He told me "think of your bones as plants? When you don't water what happens?" My answer It dies. After our consultation I was ready to get started. Then he asked me when can your husband come in so he understands what's going on. Remind you my husband is very hesitant when it comes to things with doctors. But after chatting with my husband that day we started my non- invasive treatments. No down time, no pain medication. Finally, taking the right vitamins to help with my bones, joints & muscles. Just 4 days a week an hour a day and Im feel amazingsleeping better and finally able to enjoy my days off with my hubby again and dinner on weekdays. Negative experience: I went to him for sciatic nerve going down my hip and my leg. The lady Kathleen that referred me told me she was on her 20th visit when I ran into her at the officefor the sciatica. I listen & was asked how committed I was, & what I would do, to keep coming there & being able to make payments. I said work longer hours. Didn’t stay long enough for the treatment that came with the $29 that I paid, I was there an hour and a half and had to leave. I came back the following week, while sitting in the waiting area, I just started talking to the girl next to me. Her mother was there for her 40th treatment. I repeated 40th??? because I was shocked. How could somebody keep going for treatments and not get well.?? With that I walked out, it’s a rip off. Negative experience: Arrived for my first appointment. Filled out all the paperwork and waited to see the Dr. Swolensky. He came into the room, asked me why I was there. After hearing I was changing chiropractors because my previous chiropractor no longer accepts my insurance (even though my insurance lists both chiropractors on their list of " preferred providers"). Dr. Swolensky rose, said he thought we had a problem, left and I never saw him again.

Fantastic experience: A 34 year old woman with phase 3 spinal decay due to a 15 year old injury. I have been to many chiropractors, this is where you need to go to get better. As a teacher during distance learning, I thought my discomfort in my neck was caused from teaching at a computer all day long, so I decided to get it checked out and worked on by a chiropractor. As a first time patient with Dr. Swolensky, I didn't know what to expect going in. I knew I didn't want to be bent and snapped and cracked only to return for more later, I wanted to figure out what was causing my discomfort so I could continue on with my active lifestyle. Dr. Swolensky does just that. He is very thorough and upfront with his patients. He did an initial x-ray and MRI to determine diagnosis and proper treatment. I completed 10 weeks of treatment to include spinal decompression using the DRX-9000 (NOT a traction table), electrical stimulation, cold laser, paired with dietary supplements and a whole lot of water. I felt small improvements after each visit, but the biggest improvement happened at the end of week 4, when something shifted during my session on the DRX-9000. After that shift in my neck on week 4, each session felt more and more productive and I truly felt my body begin to heal. If you truly want to heal your body, Dr. Swolensky and his incredible staff are the team of people to help you get better. Fantastic experience: 1st week I was already feeling relief, day number 3 the bones were no longer gnashing against each other I started feeling this knot or sensation at the base of my skull which week by week was moving down my neck. I just finished week #6 on Thurs. March 3rd. this was a big week for me. On Tuesday the 1st I had a terrible day and night couldn't sleep aching neck all day and night after that treatment, and I just bared with it. Dr. Swolensky had warned me that going through this treatment there would be good and bad days. Weds I came in got on the machines went through my treatments I left there that day before pain was gone I went through my ice packs through that night prior to going to bed, you know I can't remember when I had a restful sleep like I had that, I got up Thursday Totally pain free symptom free my numbness weakness had been receding through the weeks now gone , my strength is returning I am able to return to using my Bowflex , my shortness of breath has been receding, I felt the best I have felt in over 16 years. I realize all my strength hasn't come back yet since I was sedentary for so long I need to build that back up. Fantastic experience: I had a very good experience with Dr. Swolensky and loved working with his staff. When I first got my X-rays my neck and lower back were bad and I needed spinal decompression. He pointed out on a certain X-ray by my lower hips that this could be why I haven't been able to get pregnant. I didn't think much of it. I did 40 treatments on my neck to help with my pinched nerve in my shoulder blade. After my treatments were done I felt a lot better and my pinched nerve was not flaring up like it was before. Also, a month after my treatments I took a pregnancy test and it was POSITIVE! I couldn't believe it. I appreciate Dr. Swollensky and his knowledge, without these treatments I might not have been able to get pregnant as me and my husband had been trying for over 6 years. Fantastic experience: I think it would be helpful to explain my medical history regarding my back to understand the scope of my experience with Dr. Swolensky and Disc Centers of America. (It's a long read, but may help you understand the impact of what his treatments have done for me) When I was 17 I injured my back and herniated a disc while slipping another two. I had difficulty sitting and walking. The pain and numbness/tingling going down my legs was so bad I could barely lift my feet to walk. I went through physical therapy, acupuncture, massage therapy, years of prescription drugs that did nothing but dull the pain, cortizone injections, and eventually when all other avenues failed I had back surgery (a laminectomy) in 2011 when I was 19. After a lengthy recovery time, the surgery helped alleviate some of the numbness and tingling, but the pain still persisted. After more physical therapy I was able to walk normally, but again the pain was ever present. I learned to cope with the pain, although it effects every aspect of my life. Fast forward to 2019, I re-injure my back and I can't walk without assistance. I can't sit at all and laying down only lessens the pain slightly. I can't take care of myself or my 2 year old daughter. I'm in so much pain I can't think straight. I have never been in this much pain, even when I injured myself originally. I'm new to Las Vegas so I didn't have a consistent chiropractor yet. So I found Dr. Swolensky through my insurance. I called and spoke with Julia. She got me in for an appointment the next day and was incredibly sweet. When I had my exam, though it was painful, every one was very caring and accommodating. Kat used the Matrix on me (it's heaven) and that alleviated some of the agony. I still couldn't sit, but I could at least carry on a conversation without being distracted by the pain. I signed up for the 40 treatments of decompression and the Matrix. I had the decompression treatment the following day. I was cautious of being too hopeful it would work since previous remedies have not been very effective for me. Within the first 3 treatments I could tell a difference already! It took about 10-15 decompression and Matrix treatments to go from a 10 to a 7 on the pain scale. I could walk without help and sit for short periods of time. I could even shimmy a little to do a dance for Halloween. I am done with my treatments now and am happy with the results. I am probably at about a 5 or a 6 on the pain scale on most days, but it's not ever present like it was before the treatments. I have accepted I will never be pain free, however Dr. Swolensky has gotten me to a point where my pain is manageable. I can now hold my daughter, walk my dog, sit for longer periods of time, and bend over without too much pain. When you sign up for the treatments Julia, Kat, and Patricia tell you "welcome to the family!" It is so true. You get to know the other patients since you see them every day. It's bittersweet not going where every body knows your name. I would highly recommend any one who is considering back surgery to go to Dr. Swolensky first. I wish I would have known about him before my surgery. I wonder if he could have saved me years of horrible pain.

I went into his office the next week for an X-ray and MRI. Shortly, after we started decompression treatment for a month and I'm feeling much better since. Dr. and staff are always friendly and helpful making recommendations during and post treatment. The Dr. also instructed me on ways to prevent future injury to my spine. Highly recommend. Life Saver.

Negative experience: Friendly staff, however, unless you are prepared to spend thousands on therapy that your insurance won’t cover, stick to traditional methods of chiropractic care. He won’t touch you otherwise.

I went to see Dr. Swolensky and went through spinal decompression treatments for past two months on the DRX9000 machine. It worked and I am now pain free in my neck and shoulders. I am continuing treatment as I also have lower and mid-back issues. I am on the road to recovery, and a healthy spine. I feel better than I have in years.

Fantastic experience: I have had alot of pain in my neck, upper back and shoulder for months. I was ready to go to a pain management clinic. Dr. Swolensky took xrays last year, so I knew my neck was bad. I have now gone through half of the treatments for decompression and I am starting to feel better. Fantastic experience: You just can’t beat this natural way to treat your back without surgery. Knowing that surgery is not a successful way to treat back pain , usually causing more pain than you had when you went into the doctor. I have been with Dr. Swolensky since 2006. He has treated me for a number of things since I have become his patient. it's just not the back and spine that gets treated, Your head also gets treated with what you should do and should not do. He is a nutritionist knowing how to treat different diseases with enzymes and supplements giving your body the best chance to heal itself. He keeps me on track and on time with weekly adjustments. This is what your doctor don't want you to know, you can do it with out a prescription. I would recommend seeing him before you went to see your medical doctor. Fantastic experience: My primary physician sent me to see DR. Swolensky. I had complained to him about getting dizzy and disoriented when looking up to the right. I had seen and had all type of tests for over a year. Artery scans, nuclear treadmill heart tests, mir of my brain, etc. All to no avail. So I saw Dr. Swolensky, never believed in chiropractic before, he showed me how two of my neck vertebrae were touching and impairing the nerve roots and could be causing my problem. He suggested 20 sessions of cervical disc decompression. This has cured my problem finally. I now go for reg. maintenance and hope to stay in good health. Fantastic experience: I came to Dr. Swolensky in alot of pain and discomfort. Within days, I started spinal decompression to alleviate a bulging disc. After just one treatment, I begin to feel so much better. Dr. Swolensky is very informative and educational through out the entire process and addresses any concerns you may have. He strives to truly help all his patients get healthy and pain-free. There is very little to no wait time for all appointments and his staff is very friendly and inviting. After weeks of evaluation and treatment, I feel like I am married to a new man. Fantastic experience: Dr. Swolensky is terrific! His no nonsense, straight forward approach is awesome. I had a bulging disc between my L4 and L5. I could barely walk for over 3 weeks and was in excruciating pain all the time. At 42 years old I felt like I was 82 years old, using a cain and a shower chair to take a shower (which I borrowed from my grandparents). I got tired of the shuffle of traditional doctors I was being put through with no relief in sight. I had just sold my home and was moving out of state in 2 weeks! Yikes! In a panic I started hunting for help on my own. After calling several chropractic offices, only to get answering services that never returned my calls. Fantastic experience: I was afraid to go to the chiropractor because I did not want to have my neck cracked and twisted. Circumstances forced me to see care and I was relieved when he told me that he used the ProAdjuster and there was not cracking and twisting involved. I was also blown away at the time and attention paid to what was going on in my body -- with analysis I could see and understand. He patiently explained what was happening and then asked me questions to help him understand what I WANTED out of the care I was going to receive. I left my first adjustment feeling better than when I came in and it has gotten better every visit since. My children also needed care and he is amazing at working with my kids, ages 5 and 2. I am a coach and a trainer and am very physically active. I had surgery on my left hip and had been in pain every day since I could remember. I explained how it felt and how the pain went up my back and down my leg and was part of my daily existence. Fantastic experience: Dr. Swolensky has helped my back like no other chiropractor has. Using the DRX-9000 he was able to increase the amount of cartilage at the L5 vertebrae from near zero to very close to normal. the healing process is taking awhile, but every day I feel better. I have increased flexibility with much less pain. Dr. Swolensky makes no wild claims, but what he says he can do, he does. I owe a great debt of gratitude to him for the added years he has given me.
