Fantastic experience: Took a class with Jordan and it was amazing. It was a great mix of strength and cardio, I really enjoyed it and look forward to taking more classes. The gym space also looked great and it's so convenient that they have parking.

Fantastic experience: Fitloft has the most beautiful yoga space I’ve ever seen—high ceilings, mirrors, and unique touches that make it truly inviting. They even provide Manduka mats, which I love. I took a Vinyasa class and, after 20+ years of practice, I was seriously impressed by the quality. Kara, the owner, is clearly passionate about customer service and it shows. A total gem in Montclair!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Fitloft since they opened and even when it was owned by the previous owner when it was called Dfit. I have tried almost every gym throughout the Montclair area and this gym is by far the best in the area. I am a team sports kind of gal, so I need classes to keep me accountable and to ensure I am pushing myself and working out to the best of my ability. Fitloft has an amazing variety of classes and some that are so incredibly unique, challenging and original to them. They have barre-like classes, hip hop classes, hot cardio infused classes, yoga, strength, etc the list goes on and on. Forget Classpass because this gym has everything you need to keep you motivated and get in shape. Not only that, but Kara (the owner) is one of the nicest people and also an amazing instructor. All the staff and instructors are also fabulous. I can't recommend Fitloft enough!

The instructors are amazing and the staff is so kind, they have created a real sense of community which you can’t find anywhere else in the area. The gym offers something for everyone from yoga, to hip hop and boxing. Honestly, just sign up!

Fantastic experience: Almost nine years ago, I walked into the ultra beautiful space at D*FIT and began a life changing journey that becomes increasingly important for my physical and mental health. I began instructing barre just over 7 years ago and remain a student at the many amazing classes offered. From spin, to yoga to TRX, D*FIT has it all. The team of trainers is highly skilled, creative and dedicated! I feel compelled to write this review now as I am so impressed with the response made to our current reality of staying home. D*FIT quickly adapted and moved to a virtual platform that includes live classes and an online studio. Now more than ever, this studio is a key part of if my health and happiness. Can’t wait to be back in real life!

Fantastic experience: DFIT is a fabulous, well equipped studio in a super convenient location. They also generously support the health of kids by donating the use of their spin studio for winter training for the local NICA league (National Interscholastic Cycling Association).

It is very evident how much care the employees put into this studio through the cleanliness and the different types of health food and equipment available to people. I highly recommend this studio!

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to DFIT for about two years now and I still have the utmost respect for all the amazing trainers, friendliest employees and the incredible Daniela, owner and sought after trainer herself. Not only do ALL the employees greet you by your first name always, but you feel like a family when there. Everyone is happy and the energy is infectious. Not to mention the workouts are killer! They have all the best equipment and diverse training and classes. DFIT supersedes any gym around!!!!!

Negative experience: Beautiful gym however behind the scenes very unprofessional! They do not respect the staff and have a lot of turn around within the staff. Hopefully if they grow their business they will learn about loyalty. Beautiful gym but they definitely need training when it comes to management!

Fantastic experience: Great gym. They have many different options to choose from. They make you feel like one of the family. Just had the best massage of my life. recommended highly!

Negative experience: Today Montclair had one of their more popular 5k runs. Most business owners near the areas sectioned off accommodated this run or planned their days around this event. While signs for “tow away” are posted many runners parked in this lot; mother’s running with children strollers in hand. The manager of this facility did nothing to block the parking lot off or post signs to runners. She came out after over 15 cars if not more were parked there and was very nasty and disrespectful to parents, mothers and runners. While I moved my car, I stood in awe of the nastiness and reaction to this community event. If that is their attitude towards the Montclair community after a failure to block off their lot I have no interest in even trying this gym. Hoping they will realize that being part of a community is good for businesss.

Negative experience: Have been considering checking this gym out for a while, but the people are so rude. Perhaps the trainers are better but the people up front are so disrespectful that it just was an immediate turn off. I have no interest in paying premium amounts to be treated like garbage.

Fantastic experience: Always an amazing workout no matter what instructor you get! Definitely happy to find a new workout home!
