Fantastic experience: I was going through IVF and was recommended I also try acupuncture. After reading about Brian’s own personal story, I decided to give Catch a Fish a try. Once our initial consultation was complete, his plan for me included warm food diet, meditation, exercise in the form of dancing for blood circulation, revisiting my posture while at my desk on the computer and of course acupuncture. I continued my acupuncture treatments all the way up to the day of my embryo transfer. It actually helped to relax me before and after my procedure. Fantastic experience: My pinched nerve was very severe and almost needs a surgery done but I was very lucky to see Mr Brian as it was not an easy fix as I was going through with a lots of numbness on my left leg. This is the best and most professional acupuncture treatment place I have been going for my ongoing treatments. As a Taxi driver we often have a lots of back problems. He carefully diagnosed cause of my health problem and was very focused on my health issues. Fantastic experience: Dr. Wah is great. After our initial intake and first session, he was able to tell me what was going on inside of my body and provide suggestions for foods to remove/add to feel better. Once I followed those guidelines for 3 weeks I felt so much better; I had more energy even on the days I didn't sleep well. I even had significantly less bloating and lost a few lbs, which I struggled to lose even with going to the gym and counting calories until I made Dr. Wah's suggested dietary changes. Fantastic experience: Brian is absolutely amazing at what he does. I came to him because my body felt like it was just shutting down - no menstrual cycle, lethargic, always exhausted, stomach issues, feeling like my breathing was constricted and a heavy feeling in my limbs. Im 32 and wanted to start a family and no doctors were really able to understand why my body was so shut down. Brian helped me to completely transform my health. With a combination of acupuncture, herbal medicine, and rooting out the foods that were causing me problems, I was able to get my health back completely and I was never on any other medical treatment than this. Fantastic experience: 2 yrs later and I am still blown away each time I come to see Brian. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I can offer vague symptoms to the best I can describe them, and he is able to understand and treat them. He has guided me in changing my diet and introduced herbs into my daily routine which help with stress, headaches, routine ailments. Fantastic experience: I recently saw Jenn for a massage and she is incredible- probably the most intuitive massage therapist I’ve had. I’ve suffered from joint/head pain the past few months and Jenn put my body at ease. She gently opened up areas that I had no idea were tight. I woke up the next day feeling like I could take deeper breathes. The environment was comfortable, and Jenn made sure I was cozy. Highly recommend her!

Fantastic experience: Brian is excellent. I went in for my disc herniation which the doctors recommended surgery. He got me better over a few months through a planned treatment. I didn’t need surgery for my back after that.

Fantastic experience: I can not recommend Brian enough! I started going to Brian a few months ago for infertility, after going to a fertility clinic and taking medications for months. I had many failed cycles, as well as failed IUIs, and my body seemed to be taking a beating from all the hormones and stress of the entire process. I started doing bi weekly/weekly treatments with Brian, and on top of the treatments and herbs, he had me make a few lifestyle changes to bring my body to the state it needed to be in for conceiving. After a few months with Brian, I finally got pregnant naturally without IUI. Brian truly cares about his patients, and he has a passion for his practice. He went above and beyond for me, and I can not thank him enough!

He’s very thorough and detail oriented, looking very holistically at you and provides great resources for you to learn ways to help yourself so you aren’t solely dependent on a provider for help. My friends told me their experience with accupuncturist, Brian provides a more personal approach and doesn’t just stick needles in you like many other accupuncturist, for me he recommended herbs, posture changes, lifestyle changes, dietary recommendations, but he has a more detailed list of things he evaluates a person on to assess each person on a case by case. I followed all his recommendations and dietary guidelines and saw noticeable differences in my body and how I felt. after trying on an off for over a year to get pregnant, and tracking my ovulation for 4 months, after a month with Brian (my 5th month tracking) I got pregnant! While I was going through my IVF journey, I was looking for someone who could understand how important it was to me. When I came across his page and read some personal history he had listed, I knew this was the right place for me to go to. Getting appointments are SUPER easy. He gives suggestions about diet, and herbals. He is also at two different locations. One in Herndon Va, and the other is MD. One the day we did our embryo transfer he did two mini sessions with us. One before the transfer and one after. The rooms are so calming, and you truly can relax. He also reminded me to have a positive attitude during the IVF process even after failed attempts. I am a firm believer of acupuncture and the herbal supplements that they offer. Our transfer worked and we are expecting or little BOY in January. Thank you so much Brain!

Fantastic experience: I had a fall in which I tore both rotator cuffs and a labrum.It was extremely painful to raise my arms,put on a coat or comb my hair, etc. I went to Brian Wah, Catch a Fish LLC for accupuncture. The results were outstanding as I can now do those things and others without pain. There are a few movements in which I get a twinge that last a split second and goes away. However, when I try to repeat those movements it is painless. Needless to say I am very pleased with Brian and the results and will recommend him without reservation.

He assured me that after 2 months of acupuncture, I would have much better results with IVF and he was right! He rearranged his personal schedule on several occasions just so he could treat me when I needed it. He also came on on his day off, a Sunday, just to treat me the day of my embryo transfer. Fantastic experience: I started to see Brian for complications from a shoulder surgery. The day after my first visit I got rear-ended and started having back problems. Brian worked with to me help manage my back discomfort and has bee instrumental in helping me with my shoulder discomfort. He has also helped with overall anxiety and in strengthening my immune system. My insurance doesn't cover acupuncture but I still go and pay out of pocket due to the great benefits.

Fantastic experience: I initially came to Brian for back and wrist pain, as well as plantar fasciitis, pregnancy induced. These were all pains I started having during and after pregnancy ...I didn't think I would be able to get relief. But Brian is amazing; of course everyone responds different to treatment and pain, but I was able to tell that I was progressing and healing within the first couple of weeks. Outside of focusing on the pain, Brian also made sure to check my constitution for im/balance. I did not know that my organs were in such a bad state leading to brain fog, insomnia, and fatigue. Fantastic experience: I'm so incredibly happy I found Brian Wah of Catch a Fish LLC when I decided to start doing acupuncture again last year. At the time I had a horrible sinus infection, and I knew that acupuncture had really helped alleviate my sinus issues in the past. I had done acupuncture previously for about 10 years and had seen 4 different acupuncturists during that time, but it had been a few years since my last appointment. It was worth the wait. Brian is amazing. He treated my sinuses, which improved greatly after just a few sessions, and also worked on my other systemic imbalances. After seeing him for a few months and taking the Chinese herbs he recommended, I had my best liver and kidney function blood tests in 20 years. I also felt much, much better. He is an amazing acupuncturist, and is also very nice and easy to work with.

Fantastic experience: Acupuncture with Brian @ Catch a Fish has changed my life for the better. I decided to try acupuncture after having endured years of painful epidural spinal and cervical injections to try and bring relief (which worked for short periods) but also brought side effects, the most serious 'spaghetti leg' which clinched it that I should no longer do that! I found Brian through a search on my insurance company and BOY AM I GLAD I DID! I no longer take sleeping pills, pains pills, rarely take a migraine pill and now he is also helping me with the numerous food allergies that I have. I recently started incorporating massage from Brain after each acupuncture treatments and my 'bad feet' are doing so much better.
