Negative experience: The rudest lady called me for a referral from my PCP. English was obviously a second language, so her communication was not good. After several questions to clarify, I finally understood what she was asking. To which she (in exasperation) replied, "finally, Oh my Lord.". I promptly hung up for the rudness. She called back inquiring if the call dropped or I hung up. I replied that I hung because she was rude and I did not wish to deal with her or her office unless I could talk to someone else. Her reply (verbatim), "Well you have diabetes, I don't.". This is reflects VERY poorly on this office and it's personnel who interact directly with customers. I hope the office manager sees this and has a serious conversation with the employee to whom I talked. At this point, I have no desire to give my patronage to this office. Medical offices need to better understand that this is a customer service industry, and take steps to improve the customer experience. -Update. I was called by the clerical administrator, Trish, and we had a nice talk. She investigated the issue and took appropriate action. I am satisfied with the outcome and consider the matter closed

Negative experience: The quality of service has gone downhill for the month. Everyone has left!!! Not good. Plus, now they don’t require mask wearing!!! Who needs to wear masks more than patients (and their families) who require intensive diabetes care???

Fantastic experience: I am a 68 year old male patient and l have had type 2 diabetes for about 25 years. Recently I started down the path with Novant Health Diabetes Management. This is all they treat here. Diabetes...period. Kina Jackson has been assigned to help me manage my diabetes, and I could not possibly be more satisfied! Kina is a consumate pro. She is very caring, asks all the right questions, does her homework and is ready to make sensible suggestions that I can live with and implement. You will be doing yourself and all those whom you love and that love you a huge favor if you get Kina Jackson on your team!

Fantastic experience: Excellent care. I’m hyper vigilant caring for my brother and his blood sugar. Dr Lily prescribed medication best for kidneys, asked about water consumption. Great suggestions to help regulate blood sure. Appreciate the care offered.

Fantastic experience: If I could give them 100 stars I would definitely recommend this office to anybody. The doctors and staff are amazing. Once you walk in you become instant family. Very accommodating with scheduling and treatment options. Definitely a 10/10.

Fantastic experience: The staff there is so professional, caring and kind. I have came from a long way in understanding, and how to handle my diabetes. Mrs. Wanda have taught me so much how to take better care of my diabetes and my health. Under her guidance and caring l feel so much better. I have been dealing with diabetes for many years.. l was going to other doctors for years my diabetes was always 8.0-9.1. I really had a hard time. Now my diabetes A1C stays at 6.5. I feel so much better. The staff treat me more like family than a patient. They all are just wonderful peoples. I just loves the whole staff.

Fantastic experience: Shelby Rouch is a very caring endocrinologist. She jumps on the issue and not beat around the bush! If she forgets to give u any type of information she writes you in MyChart. She’s very professional and listens to your concerns, she makes sure u understand her plan before u leave the office. Before prescribing you something your insurance won’t cover and very high copay she has her team call and make sure it is covered! (99% of doctors have u go through the headache with the insurance company’s) I’m a bad diabetic and she gives me hope on getting my diabetes under control and stay that way! Negative experience: Very disappointed to learn that there's not enough money made in a Type 1 diabetes clinic to warrant the care I had been given when I first became a patient with the previous doctor at the clinic. Extremely disheartening visit, but not really surprised by healthcare practices who put money before their patients anymore.
