Children’s Minnesota Partners in Pediatrics Primary Care Clinic – Maple Grove: Reviews
Negative experience: They are unfriendly.
We are sorry to hear this. We have sent your review to the correct teams so they are aware of your feedback. Thank you.
Negative experience: Terrible place- I wouldn't bring my child here if they had a cold!

Negative experience: Billing department has terrible people working for it
Hi Jennifer Basham, we are sorry to hear this. We have sent your review to the correct teams so they are aware of your feedback. Thank you.
Negative experience: I saw a provider nurse practitioner today at the site. We went in for a routine matter for my son. She decided to treat us with no dignity and respect. She made a statement I will not repeat here, that completely shook me and made my son cry. When she completed I asked for an after visit sheet, and she said I didn’t need one but that she could get me one. I spoke with the site manager after I asked for another provided and I asked that manager someone to follow up with me as I believe race was at play for how we were treated today! I am saddened as I have come to this location many times, and I’ve seen many good providers. The nurse practitioner RH was NOT one of them, and needs some basic guidance and training on patient care.
Hi H. M., we're sorry to hear about your experience. Please email us at [email protected] or call us at 612-813-7393 if you'd like to discuss this matter further. Thank you.
Fantastic experience: Dr. Jeeva is our savior
Negative experience: Avoid at all costs. Their billing is a nightmare. They wrongfully coded one of our office visits so we had a huge bill because of it. After fighting it they sent us to a different department who then changed all of our other visits so now instead of being charged for one visit, all of our visits are charged. The pediatrician we saw shows little to no care for our child and as very quick with all of our visits. They also categorized our child with feeding issues which has never been a problem. The facility is also disgusting. We quickly changed pediatricians.
We are so sorry to hear about your experience at Children’s Minnesota. We have shared your issues with the appropriate teams. Thank you.
Fantastic experience: I typically take my kids to the Rogers location, but I will schedule at this location or use ready care here if I need to get them in sooner. We have been here many times and have never had a bad experience. Wait times are to be expected for walk-in care, but I've never waited longer than 30-40 minutes without an appointment. I've always felt listened to and my kids have received wonderful care.
Fantastic experience: My mom took me here all of my childhood. From the time I was a baby to the age of 23 (they let me stay until I graduated college), I have been cared for like no other. I have heard absolute horror stories about doctors from friends and family, and I can confidently say I have NEVER experienced anything like that here. Frankly, I’m scared I’ll never find doctors as great as they are ever again, but I trust that I was given a wonderful recommendation. Thank you in particular to Dr. Lisa Gears, who helped me through an incredible amount, including several severe issues. Thank you to her for always listening to me and taking me seriously, even when I was just a kid who didn’t really understand the world yet. You helped me in ways I will always be grateful for. I cannot recommend this clinic enough.
Negative experience: I have taken my kids here on occasion when nothing else is available. However, wait times are long, doctors rush and nurses are not patient with kids. My last straw was when my oldest was 7 and i took her here for abdominal pain. She had cried the whole way there. The doctor dismissed her pain as being dramatic and told us to seek care if symptoms worsened. Isn’t that why i was seeking care? Long story short- they did no ultrasounds or other testing, sent us packing. My daughter had freakin appendicitis! Thanks to their lack of care we spent hours in the E.R. and her appendix ruptured, causing an extra long stay in the hospital That whole ordeal was such a frightening nightmare and the “family advocates” will only support the doctor under fire.

Negative experience: if i could give a zero star I would, I’m not very impressed with Partners in peds anymore. My child needs hearing aids and they refuse to sign the paper to allow them to get them.
Hi jeff knotz, thank you for letting us know about this issue. We are sorry to hear about your experience. We have passed this information on to the appropriate teams.
Negative experience: I’m not very impressed with Partners in peds anymore. My child needs hearing aids and they refuse to sign the paper to allow them to get them. I do not understand how bad this place is turned out used to be a really good a while back but not anymore.
Hi Annette Knotz, we are sorry to hear this. We have sent your review to the correct teams so they are aware of your feedback. Thank you.
Fantastic experience: We've been going to Partners in Peds for the past decade and absolutely love the care the team provides. We primarily see Dr. Pflaster who's great with the kids and always takes his time to address any questions we might have as parents. We have limited experience with Ready Care, but for primary care we're really happy with the service we receive for both our kids.
Negative experience: Always LONG wait times. I’ve waited an hour for an appointment. Doctors aren’t friendly and can be quite rude depending on their day. Doctors are not good once they get into teen years. (The front desk staff and nurses are usually nice.) Recently switched to Park Nicollet and it has been a completely different experience. I would try them first before considering Partners in Peds.

Fantastic experience: We always get great care here, and usually the wait for Ready Care isn't too bad. Under 20 minutes usually, but this month (October 2021) has been longer Updated hours Aug 2024 in picture.
Fantastic experience: If you're scheduling with Dr. Moustafa, the care you're going to receive is unmatched. She is an absolute hero.
Negative experience: Bring your camping gear for the long wait time
Hi Andrew, we are sorry to hear this. We have sent your review to the correct teams so they are aware of your feedback. Thank you.
Negative experience: BEWARE. Three big takeaways: 1.) LONG wait times even for scheduled visits. Average waiting time in exam room for wellness check is 45-90 minutes. 2.) Brisk and dismissive doctors. We've tried out 3 different doctors over 2 years and each one hasn't been a good fit. 3.) they double bill. If you ask a question during a wellness exam, clinic will charge you for the "office visit" and "wellness exam" leaving the patient with high medical bills. I do NOT recommend. Told all my friends and family to avoid.

Negative experience: Have the appointment for my 2 kids the front desk and the doctor was really nice and helpful. But the nurse is apposite. She so mean and commands to the kids. Make my kids scare and confusing what she taking about. She got my kid 2 shots and she inject the needle all the way to my 7 months old and doesn’t care how painful my kids get. I wish I could take a video to show how bad the nurse have done to my kids.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience at Ready Care today. We were in and out in 25 minutes and all staff members were very friendly and compassionate. The provider let us go home and she called later with test results. She promptly called in my daughter's antibiotics and worked with the pharmacy to get it switched when they didn't have the first antibiotic she called in. Fantastic experience and much appreciated.
Negative experience: Who would have known getting meds for an ear infection for a 5 yr old would be more difficult than passing a bill through congress? Terrible accountability, follow-up and urgency.
Fantastic experience: Love this partners and pediatrics! They have been amazing and caring. It’s always a good experience.
Fantastic experience: Always have had a great experience. Entire staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. Never a complaint from my children when they need to visit the Doctor.
Fantastic experience: I was really surprised at the negative reviews recently, so felt I had to share my experience. I love this clinic and our primary doctor, Dr. Mustapha (formerly Woodbeck). She has never made us feel rushed and always taken the time to answer all of our questions. Ready care has been an awesome perk, and the wait times for us have always been minimal. I've never had an issue with scheduling, except if I try to get a last minute appointment, which is to be expected, and then I've still been able to be seen via Ready care. I would 100% recommend.
Negative experience: We have had one problem after another with this organization, specifically the bass lake location. We have been taking our kids there for years and finally had to find a new doctor. Stay away if at all possible.
Negative experience: When the courtesy call says 2:30, you show up at 2:27, doesn’t get registered in the system until 2:30, and apparently the appointment was 2:15 and despite being under 15 minutes late, they won’t see my kid. Yikes. I have no availability for another appointment and whatsherface takes 2-3 months to have a free appointment. Don’t come here for your kids health because they are disrespectful, uncaring, and rude. I have not had almost any good experiences here in the last 10 years.
Negative experience: I have been trying to schedule appointments for my new born daughter from last one week and every time, I call the scheduling line, only answer that I get is that it’s not available right now and we need to stick with whatever they give us and we are not able to schedule with providers that we want or even alternate one. We have been forced to see nurse practitioner rather than MD, which is not preferable for me. Is this going to be the case across all appointments then I would like to share that this is really a horrible experience to call and keep asking for an appointment where I have been told earlier that newborn get morning slot for next week anytime. I would really recommend that someone look at the appointment system and atleast start making scheduling queue so that we can get put in place else I would never ever recommend PIP to anyone and will move to some other clinic. What a nightmare with scheduling!
Negative experience: Took our daughter in last week, she had several tests done including covid and strep tests. We were assured we’d be called with the results the next morning either way. No call, no call the next day. I called the next day and talked to someone with Children’s, they said they’d forward the message and we’d get a call back that night. No call, no call the next day, or the next day.
Fantastic experience: I wanted to thank Latrice for her help this weekend with my girls' lab draw. She was not only very knowledgeable but also very kind and went out of her way to help me gather some information that I needed. I very much appreciate the excellent service that she provided!
Fantastic experience: Caring, lovely staff and pediatricians. They always make the visits as easy as possible for us.
Fantastic experience: Dr, Bailey is the best! Very kind and really takes the time to explain things. We are very grateful for her!
Negative experience: PIP's scheduling is such a mess. Between all their locations, schedulers for each location and MG being temporarily turned into a sick clinic they can't keep track of their appointments. Schedulers are rude and unapologetic for their mistakes. If you have a newborn, I strongly suggest you find a different clinic.
Hi Kristin, we're sorry you had a negative experience. We invite you to contact us to share more and help get you connected to the right team. Feel free to email us at [email protected]. Thank you, Children's Minnesota.
Fantastic experience: Good
Fantastic experience: I’ve seen almost all of the pediatricians here with my boys, and they have all given us great service. Dr Doege is the best!!
Fantastic experience: We switched from Park Nicollet and we’re so happy we did! I’ve been happy with every doctor there, always able to get in quickly, and they’re very organized. Every staff member is friendly and helpful. We love them!
Positive experience: The staff is very friendly
Fantastic experience: We always had good experiences with the care providers, from the front desk through the nurses and doctors.
Fantastic experience: We have had excellent care for all of our children.
Fantastic experience: The wait in line took minutes. Checking in was very fast and they got us into a room asap. We didn't wait very long for the nurse and the whole process was very fast. Wonderful experience
Negative experience: The care is good, but the wait can be ridiculous. We were told to come at 9AM for a newborn follow-up jaundice check and by time we were seen my child was entering kindergarten.
Fantastic experience: Best clinic I have been to. I really enjoy all the doctors and the care they have for children.
Negative experience: We needed to take our kids to urgent care and heard that the reviews are good so we were hoping for the same. Yes, the sevice at the front desk is alright and we didnt have to wait that long for our turn. However, whoever the doctor/provider was that serve us in that room for our kid's service was bad. He didn't introduce himself, and it seemed that he wants to end things quick. I even asked him to give me a doctor's note and he just left the room without saying anything and we waited in there close to 10 mins and no one shows up telling us if we are done. It made me wonder, if he is being racist? We are not going back there.
Fantastic experience: Dr. Kuperman is the best dr!
Fantastic experience: Dr. Gears is great! We've never waited over 15 minutes to see a provider (11 visits and counting!)
Positive experience: Awesome doctors
Negative experience: They were unhelpful with most of our problems. My son had constipation for 4 days and they said it was normal. I even told them there was blood in his stool and they still said it was nothing, immediately ignoring my actually issues.
