Fantastic experience: Namaste everyone I have been going to Rising Lotus Holistic since 2019. I was recovering from right shoulder and bicep repair. Michelle has helped with my recovery by loosening up my shoulder muscles so I was able to increase my range of motion leading to my full recovery. I was able to go back to work after diligent weekly sessions. I am still a client and Michelle still do what she does well, making my life easier by promoting healing, improving movement and relieving musculoskeletal discomfort. Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not only Michelle is an excellent massage therapist, she is so knowledgeable on different health conditions she customizes every session to accommodate for it. I cannot wait for the actual treatment! Edit to my review: there is a very good reason why her massage place is rated with five stars: she is THAT GOOD. Keep in mind that this woman is currently a one-woman massage parlor, yet she runs it so successfully on her own. She is truly a beast and so friendly. She'll talk to you, then let you zone out once you're comfortable. Oh, and to be extremely blunt for any creeps lurking around: DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE NOT LOOKING FOR A MASSAGE. This place is for people who want therapy to improve their mental and physical health. So, please do yourself a favor and make sure that that's genuinely why you're coming. Michelle is a gem of a massage therapist and deserves all the reviews that she gets. Her parlor is also located in a really awesome complex with just about everything from really good local coffee to pizza to Chinese food and bubble tea!

Fantastic experience: Lately the stress from work has been getting to me. I usually try to get one massage a month to relieve the tension in my body. It was pretty bad that even prior to this session I had a thai massage elsewhere but needed more. I have been looking at many places throughout NYC but everything was very expensive until I found this place. The experience was amazing. Prior to making an appointment I spoke with Michelle on the phone to see what she recommended since there was a variety of different massages I've never heard of. I ended up deciding on medical massage. Good thing I got to the location early as the directions on my gps pointed me to the wrong parking lot. Before and after our session started Michelle consulted on what I've been going through with my neck, lower back & hip. She was very knowledgable and provided a lot of insight. During our 90 minute session she was very thorough and addressed the issues that were bothering me and some more. She was conversational when needed and I felt at ease. I almost nodded off a few times. The time went by fairly quickly when you're at such a comfortable level and I wished it never ended. As she communicated this is not a one time fix all type of massage. We agreed that there is continued work that must be done to get my body right. Looking forward to future sessions with Michelle. She was awesome!

Fantastic experience: I have been in desperate need of a massage, but was struggling to find a massage therapist with good reviews and that had an easy online booking system. I found Rising Lotus Holistic and was hopeful as the reviews were great. I had a deep-tissue massage last week and I was so incredibly pleased! I added the aromatherapy oil and a scalp massage with hair oil to my massage. Michelle took the time to tell me about each of the hair and aromatherapy oils and options and let me smell samples of each of the aromatherapy oils before choosing one. She also had documentation of the ingredients and benefits so I could make an informed decision. They all smelled great and I ended up going with the sore muscle oil which was a great choice for me. The deep tissue massage was the perfect amount of pressure. I felt the muscles were getting worked without excessive pain or discomfort. I verged on falling asleep many times because it was so relaxing. The massage was wonderful and to top that off, Michelle was a wonderful kind presence that immediately puts you at ease. Some other things - the massage room is clean and relaxing. I have seen reviews of other massage places being very pushy about tips and Michelle is completely the opposite. If you are in need of a good massage I highly recommend Rising Lotus Holistic!

I went in for a sports massage and a week later was back for a 1-1 yoga session (my first time for both!). Throughout both sessions Michelle was highly informative, professional, and attentive - talking through all the details of what I was feeling, why that was, and how to improve. As she told me, these are things we’re never taught, and she’s totally right. She really cares about helping her clients improve their wellbeing and I would highly recommend her services.

I tried the Ashiatsu treatment and was amazed how well she was able to apply more pressure on the areas that needed deep pressure but also felt soothing and relaxing at the same time. I would highly recommend anyone to try the Ashiatsu massage.

Fantastic experience: Michelle is an amazing therapist. I started going to her at 35 weeks of pregnancy when I couldn’t take all the aches and pains anymore. I have been going once a week since then and have my last session left pre baby. She works on all the areas I ask her to and helps getting through week by week of pregnancy more tolerable. She’s affordable and you really get your money’s worth. Also she focuses on the areas I ask her to and it’s so helpful yet “mild” that I can go back weekly in my last trimester. Highly recommend in your last trimester!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Michelle was amazing. This was my first time getting a massage. She listened to what areas I had issues with before we started. Made it a very comfortable environment. Nice calming music and sounds. Quiet lighting. I needed a full deep tissue massage and she did a great job. There wasn't a moment where I felt uncomfortable. After our session was finished she sat down with me and asked me about my daily workout routines and gave me great advice on how to get the most from my workouts while reducing the strain on my muscles. I didn't feel rushed even though I was ready to pay right away. She really was interested in what I needed and what she could do to help. There was no pressure to plan more sessions she left it all to me how I wanted to proceed. I am already looking forward to scheduling another session. Also, You can trust Google maps will get you right to the door. The business center that it is in has a number of buildings and you will wind your way to the back. It can be very confusing if you aren't sure.

Fantastic experience: I had nagging neck pain caused by poor posture at work desk. Michelle's deep tissue body massage helped heal that completely. I recommend it! She is also very resourceful and helped me understand what stretches needed to be done to prevent similar pain in the future.

Fantastic experience: I took my mother here today for a birthday gift. My mother was very nervous about being massaged as she has never been massaged before. She is 77 years old with brittle bones. Another concern for my mother. Needless to say, after the massage, my mother felt foolish for being so nervous. She absolutely loved the massage. She said she felt relaxed and light.
