He stays up-to-date on research and invests in the best current medical equipment. After a stroke two years ago and successful heart ablation surgery six months ago, I was still tired all the time and losing interest in life. Dr. Bojar worked with me to plan a program of supplements, exercise, a healthy diet and adequate rest. After just three months of following his plan, I now feel better than I have in years. Fantastic experience: I have a complete torn ACL as well as meniscus root tear. I decided to not have surgery and seek alternative treatment. Shockwave therapy was suggested to help with my ability to return to sport. Jason explained in depth, with good science to back up, the benefits I could receive by getting Shockwave. I’ve completed 7 sessions and feel as strong and, in reality, stronger than before my injury. I’m able to run, jump, cut, and deep squat similar to times when my ACL was intact. I’m really excited for the coming snowboarding season and am confident I’ll be able to charge hard regardless of not having an ACL. Jason and his team, including the front office staff, are outstanding professionals. A bonus is the great athletics of the office. I can’t speak highly enough about what Balance has done for me and how they have set me up to remain active!

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to Balance medical from a local friend here in Colorado as we are visiting from Costa Rica. It was suggested that it may help to have a session in the hyperbaric chamber to help adjust to the altitude. The entire experience was educational and professional with both Dr Jesi and her husband Dr Jason explaining the process step by step and not only the benefits of what to expect but how your body functions and why this process would help me to climatize to the altitude. A great experience and can say it really worked for me I was experiencing a slight headache and just kind of worn out. After the one-hour session I was revitalized and had renewed energy and my headache was gone. I have been hiking and climbing since here in the mountains and feel great. Fantastic experience: 10 years ago I broke my leg in two places and had 14 pins, two plates and bone graphed into my tib/fib/ankle, and was told I would deal with arthritis for the rest of my life. Being extremely active in sports, weight lifting, and with my profession I found that movement helped but was almost counter intuitive. I lost nearly 75% range of motion in the joint and became limited in certain abilities in addition to consistent discomfort. I'm now 4 months out from receiving PRP and cellular therapy from Jason, and i have seen a significant improvement in my ability to not only move the joint with gained ROM, but pain and discomfort is nearly non existent after strenuous activities. I used to wake up and find it hard to take the first few steps, which is no longer an issue. I highly recommend considering this treatment to anyone looking to either gain an advantage on maintaining a active lifestyle or simply live day to day with less pain.

Fantastic experience: I recently had Dr Jess treat my plantar fasciitis with shock wave therapy. The results are amazing! I had 4-5 treatments about 2 weeks apart. The results are not immediate, but within a few days I had so much relief and after a few treatments the difference is incredible! SO worth it!

Fantastic experience: We started working with Dr. Jason 2.5 years ago for our daughter. At the time she was 3 years old, had an autoimmune disease and messed up digestion. Pediatricians told us there was nothing we could do. Jason listened, agreed there was much that could be done, and set us up on a plan. We revamped our entire family's diet, but within 48 hours on the plan, our 3 years old's digestion was normal. She just turned 6 and we have seen some reversed symptoms of her autoimmune disease too. Fantastic experience: I made an immediate appointment with Dr. Jess after moving cross-country to Ridgway. I knew my back would bother me after all that driving and sleeping on the floor upon arrival. She was excellent and I have continued have monthly tuneups and she/they are always available for other care as needed. Recently I had a very good workup and consultation with Dr. Jason for ongoing exhaustion, and he accompanied me on a walk-through for an exercise program, which was a great kickstart. I especially appreciate his "numbers" approach, with recommendations and treatments based in studies and science and not what I call "woo-woo" food fads. Fantastic experience: I had laser treatment on my knee from Jason Bojar when I found out my knees were crooked. I had it done two years ago and I went from being in pain everyday to maybe once or twice every 6 months. I also was treated by Jessica Balbo when I was in highschool playing volleyball and she helped heal some major shin splints. They are so personable and always make you feel welcome. They have both come in on their days off to make sure I got the help I needed. Thank you to you both for being amazing. Fantastic experience: I've been to some very good chiropractors over the years, but Jess Balbo is by far THE best I've ever seen. I just got home from my latest appointment. In contrast to the chiropractic "mill" concept (run as many patients through as quickly as possible), Jess is all about doing a lot of good in ONE visit so you don't have to come back 3x/week. I go in about 10x/year to ensure I'm in top shape. A typical appointment is a HALF HOUR of hands-on time. Yep, that costs more than the 5-minute crack-yer-neck-and-yer-done mills, but in the long run, you get better faster, and cheaper. It's wonderful to have such GREAT care in a small town.
