Negative experience: I was hesitant about leaving a review but I was so upset with my experience, that Im going to . I’m not easy case as I have long covid and many issues. I heard about Dr Jo and helping with the vagus nerve. I suffer horribly with balance, dizziness, tremors , pain and more since Covid. When I called I explained I’m looking to spend 1000’s so please don’t waste my timeand let me know if this is something that will be costly because I’ve tried so many expensive treatments and can’t afford that. I was told “ let’s see what your insurance covers” . I met DrJo and I will say she is a sweetheart . I was so excited when I left there thinking I finally found someone who can help me, shes’s very intelligent . I still expressed my concern about price but was told not to worry . X-rays and talk the first visit . I went back for my second visit and saw Dr Jo and she said she could 100% help me and what my issues were and was told her assistant would go over everything with me . I asked if I would see her after . Absolutely, yes! Well, going over my X-rays I was then told the price and how many visits .3 months to work with me for $4300! I wanted to cry .I explained I could not afford this and is there any way we could do a few visits. Sure , she can do an adjustment today for 150 and submit it and see what your insurance covers . How do you not check into my insurance first? I expressed how I was saddened that I really had my hopes up by the Dr and in need of help desperately but I simply can’t. Not only did Dr . Jo not come back in , they let me walk out with out even offering something , anything . A smaller package , less visits . Nothing. I felt very led on and was also told I had 8 sublaxations ! I was so nervous I went to my old chiropractor and was told that a subluxation is pretty serious to throw around and sometimes people will use the term to scare you into treatment .again, Dr Jo I’m sure is very good at what she does but I felt led on , given high hopes only to be just another dollar.

Fantastic experience: I started our kids’ treatment here for headaches and growing pains. The treatments are so beneficial for them and they always come out happier and feeling great! Now we all go, and I’m having far less problems (carpal tunnel, shoulder pain, etc) from sitting at a desk. My immunity and overall health are improved too! Thank you, Dr Jo and team, for making our lives healthier and more joyful!

Negative experience: Dishonest and unprofessional! They kept giving excuses to me for more than a week that they were not able to get in touch with the insurance. And after I argue with them they told that you are not a good fit. Is this what a doctor says to the patients?! And if this is what they say, I am wondering why why they did not say it to me since the beginning?

Fantastic experience: Came in with severe pain, come back out excellent. Dr.JoAnn is Professional, warm, funny and knows what she’s doing and answers every single question you have. Highly recommend and to top it off she works with a staff that are all AMAZING.

Fantastic experience: Referred to me by my daughter (a very satisfied patient), I decided to visit and see what it was all about. Well, it is about the best decision of my life. From the beginning when they explained their processes, to the x-rays, to the special exercises and equipment, my spine is on the mend. My movements have become much better, their reviewing me and discussing the next steps are spot on. Have not felt this good since around 2010. And it's been only 9 months!!! Still have a ways to go. See them for a consult and decide for yourself. I did and have no regrets whatsoever.

Fantastic experience: Extremely nice staff always very helpful and care about what is going on. The system in place is very gentle and slow which is perfect for me as I am double jointed meaning more rigorous adjustments could actually hurt me. Dr. Jo is such a lovely lady always very personable. Each appointment after the first assignment is short as well even if there’s multiple patients.

Fantastic experience: I had a lumbar herniation and sciatica so painful that I could not walk, sit or stand for two and a half months. I'd had back surgery two years prior and had re-herniated at the same spot - this is not uncommon. A previous experience with another chiropractor prior to surgery was not a good one and I think made things worse - way too rough for me (traction, cracking, twisting) so I had no intention of getting more chiropractic treatment. I also did not want to have additional surgery - each surgery weakens your back further (look up "Failed Back Syndrome"). A friend I trust kept encouraging me to see Dr JoAnn, so I reluctantly$ went - literally crawling into the office. I was laying on the exam table, curled up, miserable, shivering and scared to death when Dr JoAnn w/alked in. She took my hand and said "Hey, you're not alone, I'm here and I'm going to help you". It still makes me teary to remember her compassion and empathy when I was feiving ling so hopeless. There was no cracking, no popping, no twisting, just gentle treatments that were all carefully explained. And it worked! Within a couple of weeks, I was well on the way to recovery. That was over two years ago and my back is better then it's been in years! I still see Dr JoAnn regularly to keep my spine healthy. Thank you Dr JoAnn for giving me my life back! Edit: My original review was writen 5 years ago. One year ago in October of 2023, I had a terrible car accident and had many fractured bones, including my hip in 2 places. This caused a sciatica flare up as I hobbled around during recovery. I had not seen Dr JoAnn for a while, so I limped back into her office and within 2/3 weeks, my sciatica calmed down and I now walk normally with no pain! I continue to see Dr JoAnn for chiropractic care and Leanne for massage / "tune ups" and am feeling great!

Fantastic experience: After just 12 visits with Dr. Jo, without a doubt I notice improvement across the board. Less stiffness, better sleep, better posture. I even had a "phantom" pain that I have been experiencing for 3 years that 3 different doctors of different fields told me what they thought it was, had a clean ultrasound. Tylenol and advil never helped. Dr. Jo Has. 1 month with Dr. Jo AND her staff and I have a better understanding of my issues, how and why we are adressing them the way we are and I look forward to continuing to feel my improvements.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a dancer for 14 years! Each year my knee and hip would act up, restricting my stretches and bothering me when I would perform. Doc told me it was from my scoliosis that was left untreated. No surgery needed & no cracking needed she told me... I am not even completed with my treatment, and I already am experiencing less knee pain and am able to dance without worrying about my knee feel like it’s going out of place.

I thought I would need a hip replacement due to the severe pain I was experiencing and my primary doctor recommended that I see an Orthopedic doctor to find a solution. One of my dear friends recommended that I visit The Core Wellness Center and spoke so highly of Dr. Joann G. So I took a chance and made an appointment. From the moment I step foot in Dr. Joann G. and her team took such good care of me and located my problem areas. They worked on me without the popping and snapping that other Chiropractors are known for and now I'm pain free and will not be needing a hip replacement. Fantastic experience: Core Wellness Center saved my life. I had been in chronic pain for almost one year.I was living on pain relievers. After seeing at least half dozen doctors and other practitioners I was about to resign myself to a life of pain. After a tearful conversation with a friend I remembered that a colleague had suggested Core Wellness. That Monday morning I called and made my appointment. When I first stepped foot in the door I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be. I was met with kindness and compassion from everyone. Dr. Jo took the time to explain to me what my condition was and gave me , holistic treatment plan-mind, body and spirit. Most of all she gave me hope. Hope that I could have my life back. Fantastic experience: Nothing but positive things to say about Dr. JoAnn and the staff at Core Wellness Center! From the start, Dr. JoAnn was very comforting and made me feel comfortable about seeing a chiropractor again since she doesn't twist/crack/pop you at all when adjusting. I primarily starting going to her for neck, shoulder, and TMJ pain after seeing countless doctors and specialists. With an entire whole body approach, I have noticed such a difference in not only my TMJ, but other aches/pains/issues that I have. With a herniated disc in my lower back, I have experienced no lower back pain since starting here! Shout out to Sam for a great massage, too! Not with Dr. G at Core! Compassionate, gentle adjustments, manually and with precision instruments, and a holistic approach to health. The results have been dramatic and lasting! Highly recommend.
