Fantastic experience: Emilee made me feel extremely comfortable and she took the time to find out what kind of challenges I had dealt with the previous month. She also adjusted any meds I was taking to make sure they were addressing my health needs. I would highly recommend working with her. I lost over 30 lbs with insulin resistance and hypothyroidism, which is very difficult.

I also appreciated the convenient location and the expertise of the professionals administering my treatment, which has helped me achieve significant weight loss. They are cost conscious regarding prescriptions which helps. The above paragraph is a bit generic but I have exceeded my goals in weight loss in a surprisingly short time to where I now have new goals. It's good to have someone watching out for you on this journey. Weightloss a something you have to commit to, they are here to help you keep to your commitments. Regular appointments seemed a little excessive when I started but I felt better with more oversight for my health and it is nice to have shorter accountability periods even if it just to yourself. I really do recommend getting help on your journey from these people. Emilie was who helped me and I highly recommend her. Try them out and if your results are anything like mine you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Emilie has been fantastic for me and my family. She has collectively helped us lose almost 70 pounds. She is not only in tune with our physical health but cares about our mental health as well. Inspired heath and wellness has been a life saver for us and our confidence!

Positive experience: EDITS included In short, I'm extremely dissatisfied with the treatment plan I was given, and how I was treated as a struggling client - I felt like a number, instead of a person. I was recommended by a therapist to call Inspired Wellness as I have been struggling with disordered eating and depression. I asked the receptionist if they could help me or if my issues were better treated elsewhere. The receptionist assured me that these were common problems their clientele had, and that I would be a good fit for what they offered. I did specify multiple times that I was not interested in weight loss, but in need of support for good eating habits. I went in hoping for education, strategies, meal plans, supplements even - instead, I was heavily persuaded to accept 2 prescription appetite suppressants WHEN I'M BARELY EATING. The emotional manipulation was very apparent; for example, I was told “You do want to get better, don’t you?” in regard to the medication. I asked for supplements first, or a few weeks of eating 3 square meals a day before resorting to medication. EDIT: I did provide the date of my last period on in-office paperwork. I honestly forgot. However, if I had been pregnant this cycle, I would have been taking the prescribed medications for 2 weeks of being pregnant, and as someone that has suffered a miscarriage, I would not have taken that risk. No consideration was given for where I was in my cycle. I was also made to feel bad for being a SAHM - I was told that never having a meal alone contributed to my stress and issues, but was not given any strategies or encouragement! Just Pinterest recipe links. Also, it was implied that I'm being manipulated by my "picky" children. I'm not. When asked about what I ate the day before, I had done well that day and had 3 meals. She proceeded to nitpick and tell me what to “swap” and completely moralized my meals, telling me things that were “good and bad” opposed to food being fuel and needing to eat what would fuel me. My treatment plan consisted of 1300 calories a day. I received a paper about protein sources (not how much protein is in each or what a serving is, just the items themselves), meal service plans I can’t afford, a sheet about food journaling, (something I mentioned was a stressor and has not worked for me in the past) and 2 pages about getting good sleep, with a YouTube link for a “healing frequency” white noise video. I also paid $40 for a class that their dietician offered. That gave more information than my initial appointment, but still not the level of support or information that I needed. I'm sorry to say, but the strategies mentioned in that class were the very things I grew up with that kept me underweight. Normally, if a business didn't work out for me, I would tell people "it didn't seem like a good fit.” The heavy persuasion and the lack of empathy at Inspired Wellness was so upsetting. I was not heard, here. I went in open, with honesty and vulnerability, and left feeling insulted, shamed, and hopeless. I will not be going back, and have waited over a month to be sure of my feelings and get a clearer perspective before leaving this review. I have not reached out to Inspired Wellness, frankly because I don't believe they will listen to me. It has been over a month and I have not heard from them either, no check-ins or schedule reminders or anything. I am out over $200 for one of the worst out-of-pocket medical services I've ever experienced. Good for them if they change their ways, otherwise, beware. I'm currently seeking help from my chiropractor with some GI testing, and a personal trainer to help with meal planning and exercise. EDIT: Inspired Wellness was very proactive in making amends. They called twice, leaving a polite message once. Emilie personally emailed me and offered multiple avenues of restitution. I offered to edit my review in return for a refund. I'm raising my rating to 3 stars, but leaving my review up, for whomever it may serve.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient with Emilee for a year and I can't say enough to thank her and the staff at Inspired Health and Wellness. I have lost over 100 pounds and have struggled with weight my whole life. Emilee is knowledgeable in all things weight loss and has been positive and supportive in my weight loss journey. I look forward to my appt every month. I learn something new and more ways to help with continuing to lose weight. I have been given a new way of life ! I am doing things I haven't done in years . I am so glad my cardiologist suggested this program. They have literally saved my life . I no longer have to have heart surgery and I am no longer on any heart medications! I can't thank Emilee and everyone at Inspired enough !
