Turnure Medical Group Urgent Care

Fantastic experience: Been bringing an elderly family friend here for past 6 years. As his health has started to deteriorate over past several years due to his age, the team here has taken such exceptional care of him. We used to see Dr. Turnure, prior to his retirement, now we see Dr. Stafford. The level of professionalism and thoughtfulness they have shown in what has been a very medically-challenging and uncertain time for us, has made an otherwise bad situation very tolerable. The team had made great recommendations, does great follow up and has seamlessly communicated with me and the care team at the assisted living facility. Thank you for all of your help up to this point!

Fantastic experience: Just want to give a huge shout out to Turnure Medical Group in Rocklin. Absolutely amazing Doctors and Staff. My husband and I see Dr. Stafford and he and his staff always go above and beyond what most other health care offices pass off as care these days. They take the time to listen and don’t rush you through an appointment or phone call. They never make you feel like an inconvenience or after thought. It is quite refreshing these days with how most health care facilities treat patients. A little background: My husband has been dealing with severe health issues for the past 10 years with not a single doctor able to figure out anything. It was always “well there is definitely something but we can't run anymore tests”. We saw several before we just gave up and figured there was no diagnosis or recovery possible, this was life now. I spent years wondering if my husband would still be alive when I got home from work or errands.Then we were blessed to find Dr. Stafford at Turnure Medical Group. He has been nothing but a blessing actually reading through ALL the medical records for my husband (like 150 pages of records) and creating a plan of care. While due to the huge delay in quality care we may never know the real cause but we are finding pieces and are able to manage those giving my husband some quality of life back. Dr. Stafford truly saved my husband's life and has continued that standard of care. As for my experience as a woman being seen by Dr. Stafford I always feel heard and never rushed. He has never dismissed any of my concerns and has always thoroughly addressed them. If you are looking for an amazing and skilled health care team I can't recommend Turnure Medical Group highly enough. They are concierge doctors so there is a membership fee in addition to your insurance but IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Fantastic experience: Dr Turnure is one of the kindest, patient, understanding, amazing Doctors, we were sad to see him go but happy for him. I've found out Dr Stafford and Dr Vantsel are just as amazing as well as the rest of the staff. Fantastic experience: Dr. Van Tassell and the staff were very compassionate and attentive to my 6yr old son who has been suffering with thrush on his tongue. We felt welcomed and cared at the clinic. Dr. was also personable and encouraging, went above and beyond upon my son's health. We are thankful for our first visit there.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding service from Josh the NP and Dr. VanTassell. Every time I take my mother in they treat her with compassion and as a priority. I can’t thank Dr. VanTassell and NP Josh enough for always being there for my family. I have been taking care of my mother for years and have never encountered such an amazing, attentive group of medical professional like these. They go above and beyond to make you feel seen and leave you feeling better. Turner Medical Group is special, once you experience this level of professionalism and attentiveness you will not go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: A couple weekends ago, my husband needed to see a physician as soon as possible. And because it was a Saturday, we were unable to see his primary care physician, so his insurance referred us to this urgent care facility. All I can say is that it was an exceptionally memorable experience and remarkingly unlike any other Dr appt we have ever had. Throughout the whole process, we felt like family and we were treated with genuine care and concern. Due to his history of kidney stones, my husband was in unbearable pain when he arrived at their office and in desperate need of assistance. As soon as Dr Josh entered the room, he was able to calm him down and create a game plan that was implemented immediately. Less than 20 minutes later, my husband was properly medicated, his prescriptions were sent over to the pharmacy, several tests were ordered and we were aware of what we needed to do from there. A week later, he successfully passed the stone, although the process was very uncomfortable because of its size, prompting the need for further medical treatment. We were advised to come in as soon as possible by the office. Dr. Van Tassel's care during the appointment was exceptional and contributed to a great overall experience. I was interested to learn about their team's membership option for regular visits and was impressed by their unique service approach. The fee they charge does not reflect the value of their services - the outstanding care and unique experience provided easily justify the cost.

Fantastic experience: The best clinic in the world. The team is very professional, and you feel it as soon as you call them. First, it's easy to get through on the phone. Second, the front desk is always friendly and efficient. Third, the doctors are extremely professional, optimistic, and always very attentive. They carefully analyze the situation and prescribe well-founded treatments. My two children and I have been with this clinic for 5 years. I appreciate the opportunity to maintain my health with them!

Fantastic experience: I cut my finger on Monday night and called the office right away. I didn't want to sit in the ER for countless hours, or go to an urgent care that would rush me in and out. When I called, Makenzie answered and told me to come in as soon as possible. I get to the office, and am immediately taken back into an exam room. The M.A. Lea showed compassion as she cared for my wound and reassured me of the plan. Dr. Vantassell came in and I immediately felt at peace! His spirit, funny personality and compassion made me feel as if I wasn't in an exam room. He numbed me up and stitched me up while I was truly enjoying his company. He was so gentle, precise and informative. He explained everything as he did it so I would understand, and taught me how I can prevent it from happening again. If you are looking for a provider you can trust, go to Turnure Medical Group. The care is exceptional, the compassion is overwhelming, and the group is fantastic! If I could give a 10 star review, I would. They even offer coffee!

Fantastic experience: I've been to a handful of different urgent cares around Roseville/Rocklin, this one is easily the best. Usually urgent care style visits feel like they're trying to go as fast as possible, and ironically don't have a lot of 'care', but here felt like a much more traditional doctor visit and all 3 people I interacted with were very thorough and friendly

Fantastic experience: I came in due to a nasty fall that ended up fracturing my hand. Doctor visits bring me so much anxiety, so I normally avoid going in the first place. From the start, the ladies at the front desk were very kind as well as Dr. Cline and the attending nurse, everyone was personable and able to answer all of my questions honestly. The whole process was easy and painless from assessment, getting referred out for x-rays, and even coming back, so Dr. Cline could put my hand in a stint. I hope I don't need to go to urgent care for health reasons anytime soon, but if I do, I'll choose Turnure Medical Group. Thank you guys!

Fantastic experience: We’ve been long time patients of TMG, using both the regular practice and Urgent Care. We couldn’t be more pleased with the level of care and service we receive from the entire staff - end to end. Always professional, thoughtful, genuinely concerned about our overall health - not just the symptoms we may be seeking consult for on any given visit. Highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a GP or in need of an urgent care visit.

Fantastic experience: I have been using there services for about 7 years. All of the staff are so very helpful, considerate and understanding. Please continue your services as it is hard to find such wonderful Drs., and Nurses that care so much about their patients.....

Negative experience: Very unprofessional. I was exposed to Covid and wanting to get tested. The receptionist informed me, I needed to fill out paperwork online. She asked for my email address to sent it to me. She never sent me the paperwork. Who does that. I went to instant urgent care, who were very friendly and accommodating. I’m in healthcare field and this has never happened to me.

Fantastic experience: Just visited last Saturday 4/15/23 for possible eye infection. Office was very clean! Front office staff and Dr. Stafford were GREAT!!! Both very friendly, caring, and professional. I was seen promptly, eye infection confirmed, prescription sent in to my pharmacy and I was on my merry way. I'd go back in a heartbeat (I'm very picky when it comes to my healthcare providers and their service/professionalism). I highly recommend Turnure Medical group.

Fantastic experience: Amazing doctors, and amazing personal working their very nice and caring people. If you have questions they do the best to help you out. Very good care.

Positive experience: Doctors are great, but the clinic seemed to have lost my covid lab test. They claim to have dropped it off with LabCorp, but LabCorp has no record of receiving my test.

Fantastic experience: Two things to say about Turner Medical Group one my husband uses this as his primary doctor and two when you go here they ask everything and find out exactly what is wrong with you so they can fix it correctly and then they actually follow up! Great place I would definitely recommend them.

Fantastic experience: My 4 year old son hurt his leg and we did not want to take him to the ER if we could avoid it. A close friend of ours is an RN and she strongly recommended that we take our son to Turnure Medical Group Urgent Care. I am so glad she did; it was hands down the best experience I have ever had with an urgent care facility. Dr. VanTassell was extremely kind and patient to me and my son and the staff was very pleasant to work with. We drove all the way from Grass Valley, and it was WELL worth the drive!

Fantastic experience: This is a quality group of people and physicians. They indeed care about their patients and families. Dr. Stafford has done a great job as my PCP in assisting my navigation thru other MDs and facilities that were needed in my families healthcare. 5 Stars for sure!!

Fantastic experience: My wife just had a very thorough, relaxed and informative yearly physical with Dr. Stafford. He took the time to ask the right questions and provided great guidance on maintaining good health. He shows personal care for his patients. We made a good decision to remain with Turnure Medical Care on the Concierge Plan.

Fantastic experience: I’m sure there are others like me, frustrated with the lack of good healthcare. I joined their concierge program and I’m pleased to say Dr Stafford provided a very thorough exam . He took time to listen, truly listen to my questions. 5 stars to you and to our team !

Negative experience: TMG has decided to move towards a concierge membership program starting November.This means that you would need a membership to be seen by your physician. The membership costs over $200 a month or over $2,500 a year. This is insane and outright disgusting. To make medical care sound like an amenity and be treated like an amenity is ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: On a recent weekend I suffered a very panful back injury. The following Monday, I went to a walk-in clinic in Lincoln where I was seen by the attending Physician, who asked three questions and prescribed three medications. After a few days I decided to go see Josh at Turnure Urgent Care. He asked several questions about how I sustained the injury and how it was affecting my entire body. Only then did he decide how to proceed so I would be in less pain and eventually resolve the problem permanently. The thing that set him apart was his follow up. He personally called me and texted me three times over the following week to see how I was doing. He even reached out to a local Surgeon to discuss the matter on my behalf. I can safely say, this medical office cares about their patients.

Negative experience: They make you put down $100 when using insurance, before care. They also take your credit card and bill you without you receiving a breakdown of cost of care. It really shows what their priorities are. They care about the money far more than their patients.

Negative experience: I showed up early and good thing I did. They dropped a ton of paperwork on me. A lot of questions I thought were unnecessary and borderline unethical. Looks like data mining to me. And while I'm writing this I've been waiting for an hour. There's like nobody here so it's not like they're swamped.

Fantastic experience: We have had good experiences here. We took our daughter in after she sliced her foot open and our usual urgent care wasn't open. I walked in without calling ahead. They were able to see her after a short wait, maybe 15 minutes. The doctor, nurses and front desk staff were all considerate and quick to help my daughter feel comfortable. It wasn't easy for them to stitch between the toes of a screaming 5 y/o but they did it with care. We returned for an immunization and again were greeted by the kind front desk and nurses. I always get a friendly voice when I call in and ask questions or need to obtain paperwork. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Vantasell and Dr. Stafford are some of the most relaxed, knowledgeable, and truly caring doctors I've ever met! However if they say you'll be seeing Josh the NP, reschedule. He's rude, condescending, and it felt like I was being made fun of for coming to the doctor.

Fantastic experience: A friend of mine raved about this office (Dr. Stafford mainly) and it really sounded too good to be true. I started bringing my kids there and we all started seeing, Dr. Tom as my kids say a couple years ago. My youngest came for the first time at 4 days old in 2020! He’s always made us feel comfortable, really great with my kids and a doctor/counselor all rolled into one, you can ask whatever question is on your mind and it doesn’t feel awkward. A compassionate doctor that sets the standard for care, he’s one of my favorite doctors. I had an unexpected small medical issue in his office a few days after I gave birth and his calm demeanor helped me get through. He’s contributed my healing physically and mentally at different times. Doctors I’ve seen in the past took 5 minutes, wrote me a prescription and sent me on my way. The whole practice treats you as a family member not a number. Natalie, Alejandra and Haley are always so sweet and understanding. Best possible provider my family could’ve found!

Fantastic experience: My husband, myself, and our two young boys have been patients at Turnure for a very long time(for the boys whole existence ). We’ve always received fabulous care. Of course every place has its “off” day, but they have always made the effort to make us feel cared for and it is not missed. Sometimes urgent care waits may be long but they have a great system in place to help reduce your wait AT the office and this means they are taking the time to LISTEN to their patients and I can be patient so I will receive the same care and concern. Fantastic experience: Great urgent care, as well as a great doctors office. Dr. Van Tassel on the urgent care side has great bedside manner and is very easy to get along with. I’ve never had an issue at this practice whatsoever. Today I had to go into the urgent care at 7:00PM, and they were very busy, so the wait was longer than expected. Not the end of the world for me. They normally close at 8:00, but they made sure to see everyone who came in that night even though the staff had to stay late. I really appreciate all the hard work you guys put in every time I’m there!

Fantastic experience: I went in for urgent care. I was nervous about waiting for a long time to be seen because of other urgent care centers I had gone to in the past, and almost didn't go, but had to because of my condition. They took me in promptly and I saw the doctor within 15 minutes. Dr. VanTassell was absolutely fantastic. He cared a lot about my condition and took away my fears. I received excellent service and am very happy with the visit. This will be the urgent care I go to from now on. I went on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.

Fantastic experience: I recently called in to Turnure urgent care due to a fever and lack of Energy. Lea at the front desk said that a Dr ( Josh) would call me to discuss my situation. My experience with callbacks from Other doctors offices has not been the best, but I reluctantly agreed. To my surprise, Josh called me back within 15 minutes to discuss my situation. He asked that I come in immediately after listening to my symptoms. Within 1/2 hour of my initial call I was in the parking lot at the drive up diagnostics getting my vitals taken, where I proceeded to pass out! After gaining consciousness, they wheeled me into one of the rooms where they took an EKG and other tests. I really felt that Josh and Selina partnered well together and really had my best interest in mind, and treated me like they really cared! Thank you Josh and Selina! You were very kind!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this Urgent Care. All the employees are always friendly, considered and kind. Now Dr. Van Tassel is so so amazing. Always caring and very knowledgeable. I truly always feel like I'm being in good hands. Keep up the amazing work.

Fantastic experience: I started going to this practice about a year ago. I’ve seen the nurse practitioner, Josh as well as Doctors Perkins and VanTassell and I’ve had a great experience each time. I never feel rushed, and each of them listen and address my concerns with compassion. The office staff is also very nice and responsive. I recommend this office.

Negative experience: Called about terrible lower back pain and need to see a doc ASAP. Non responsive on the phone and told me to come in after a few hours when their urgent care opens. Are you guys kidding me?!? Do you even care?

I would wait hours to see him because he is just that good. Dr.Ray Tunure is also one of the kindest Dr. I know. He is always happy and so sincere when he sees you . The entire team at Tunure Medical Group is so accommodating from the moment you walk in. They are helpful and caring . I’m very thankful for Tunure Urgent Care. I would not go anyplace else .

Fantastic experience: This urgent care is by far and away the best urgent care I have ever been to (and, unfortunately, I've been to quite a few). The front staff is extremely friendly and competent, which helps when you feel your worst. Dr. Vantassell, who is the usual doctor running the clinic, is as compassionate and skillful as they come, but all of them are amazing. Couldn't be happier with the care!

Fantastic experience: I have been to a lot of Urgent cares in the past, but Turnure Medical Group Urgent care has grown to be my favorite. I walked in after i cut my leg open with a knife and they fit me right in with a Dr. He stitched me up so well i cant even tell i had 30 plus stitches in my leg! All of the Dr.'s are so professional and nice. If i were you i would go to this place primary care and urgent care over any place in the Sacramento area!

Fantastic experience: Been here a couple times and always get great care. I'm one of those guys that waits until he's dying to go to the doctor and they've fixed me right up. Great staff.

Negative experience: I will not be coming back to this practice for multiple reasons. This office wants you to provide your credit card number and sign a slip of paper that says they can charge you when a bill is due, without having to provide you with proper documentation or a statement of charges. My husband and I both had new patient appointments in December: I was charged $93 and my husband was charged $64. The difference, as the billing department explained to me, was because the doctor spent "more time" with me looking over my chart than my husbands chart. I find this very hard to believe, as the power went out during my appointment, and the doctor couldn't even give me a proper exam. When I had called to discuss the $93 charge, I had requested a note be put into my file to communicate with me via phone call if any new charges were going to be posted onto my card. 3 months later, my card is charged the $64 for my husband. I called again, wondering why the office did not uphold the request I had made, and billing told me she sent me a statement in the mail. Not true, as we had never received it and she cannot provide proof she sent one. When I requested certified mail, she very rudely told me no. I very strongly feel the office staff is dishonest regarding their billing procedures, and they are unwilliing to help me resolve payment disputes. I am very much willing to pay my bill, but the way this office has handled my concerns is very unprofessional.

Negative experience: Sad excuse of an Urgent Care facility. I had a confirmed appointment at 3:30 pm. After 4:10pm I questioned upon the delay only to be told to come back because there weren't any rooms available. I do not understand the point of setting appointments and rearranging your schedule when they clearly don't care about you, only getting paid. The girls at the front desk are plain rude and have no problem charging your card up front, you better hope you are seen. At least 6 individuals walked into the back after I was told I was next, either don't over promise or be realistic. I'm 5 weeks pregnant sitting in a room with sick people for 40 minutes and you don't care to tell me I can't be seen and my appointment means nothing. Sad sad excuse of a business. I will tell everyone of the experience I underwent and I assure I will defer people from your 'practice'. I will be posting this review everywhere

Fantastic experience: Excellent fast service. On a Roadtrip travelling from Florida. Needed medical care. Bloodwork done same day at location in same plaza. Highly recommend facility and Dr. vanTassel. Thank you.

Negative experience: Fever, chills and headache is the last thing you need to have before filling out an 8 page new patient form. Spent 3.5 hours there. Got a urine sample and they attempted to draw my blood with no luck but managed to make me bleed everywhere. Mind you I have a fever. They kept me waiting for 5-15 minutes at a time. Was told they don't know what's wrong exactly and then sent me to the ER. Went to sutter urgent care and had much better experience. I had one sheet to fill out and I was in and out in about an hour. Oh and they were also able to find out what this medical group couldn't! End of day. I will not be returning or referring this place to ANYONE.
