Fantastic experience: I started going to Energy Matters seeking relief from a pinched nerve. My acupuncture / cupping sessions with Mandy made a huge difference decreasing my pain and other symptoms. While I still ended up having surgery, my treatments diminished pain prior to surgery and has significantly enhanced my recovery. Since Mandy is a general practitioner, she took the time to inquire about any other issues I might be having from allergies to quality of sleep. I let her know I had trouble with eczema on one hand that my regular physician had been treating for 2 years with limited success. Mandy suggested an organic ointment. I only used it for a few days and for the first time in 2 years it was completely gone! I highly recommend Energy Matters for a quality care. I have never made an online recommendation. I feel strongly enough about the quality of this place that I needed to share.

Fantastic experience: Terrific acupuncturists all! Although I’ve been with Kirstin for years, I’ve been lucky to experience Angela and Prajna and Kari. A few years ago Kari was terrific for addressing and helping a shoulder joint issue. The office and treatment spaces are thoughtfully well designed. In addition to acupuncture and herbs, the only reason I’m able to hike miles in the mountains, ride horses, and manage my 70-year old body’s natural pain plus my old injuries is my daily Qi Gong practice. Maureen, Kristin, Gail, and Sue all bring individual care and genius to their teaching of Qi Gong.

Fantastic experience: I have taken Qigong at Energy Matters for at least five years. Initially I attended classes in person which was a powerful experience. Since Covid struck we've resorted to Zoom classes which are gentle and informative. The instructors are patient as they guide the class through the various moves, explaining all the while which energy points are being activated and describing the benefits of the form. I find that attending classes gives me a sense of peace and the knowledge that I am making a conscious choice to improve my mental and physical well being. In these trying times Qigong is a necessity for me. I intend to take the classes for as long as I possibly can.

Fantastic experience: As I came to terms with the reality of aging, I decided to try something new. I began researching the benefits of acupuncture and found Energy Matters. I have been receiving treatment for over a year and I can honestly feel the difference. What is also special about Energy Matters is the level of expertise and care that you receive as a client. Kirsten is my practitioner who take the time to listen and co sult with me. I feel seen and heard which is not typical these days when seeking health or wellbeing services. Fantastic experience: Getting acupuncture seemed to be the last straw for pain management due to RA and my L5 S1 back issues. My MD suggested acupuncture but I didn’t jump on the idea, until I was out of options that were acceptable to me. There had to be something left to do, besides surgery. Having the experience of Mandy’s well trained skill with acupuncture, cupping and tuning — my life changed. Not 100% of course, but to a degree that has definitely given me a better quality of life. Along with Mandy’s treatment and doing what I am supposed to do, continue my PT exercises, I am able to go down the stairs; forward (not backwards), and up the stairs with each foot up a step not having to plant both feet on a step at a time before I continue up to the next step. This improvement happened after acupuncture.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I were looking to begin our Qigong practice and a friend told us about Energy Matters and the Wild Goose Qigong classes. We signed up for Session A with Sue and are so happy we landed in this lovely class with a fantastic teacher (Sue). The classes are well paced and allow a wide variety of students, beginners to those taking this series for the umpteenth time. The classes and Sue have also opened up the world of Qigong and the community around it. We feel very fortunate to have found Energy Matters and started our Qigong journey there.

I feel balanced, restored, refreshed, or recharged every session. Fantastic experience: I have shoulder injury and orthopedic acupuncture has been a catalyst to heeling. I'm not a huge fan of needles, but Keri talks me through each session, and the results were obvious.

Fantastic experience: Prajna helped me get pregnant!!! (at 40!) I was willing to try fertility acupuncture and Chinese medicine after an unexpectedly unsuccessful round of IVF. I should have started with her instead of with IVF. Her acupuncture sessions were holistic, not just about fertility, so if I was having digestive issues or anxiety, she'd address that too. She taught me an incredible amount about menstrual cycle phases, basal body temperature (BBT), hormone strips, and fertility diet. She taught me how to track and understand my cycle. My BBT was all over the board (not normal) when I started working with her, and after a few months under her care (going about twice per week) it was normalized and she deemed my body ready to try. I won't share all the personal details, but I got pregnant right away and my baby is on the way! I owe my growing family to Prajna. I recommend her unequivocally.

Fantastic experience: My husband over a year ago had a brain injury as a result of a bicycle accident. I brought him to acupuncture recently and the acupuncturist was able to do a treatment that encompassed many symptoms that work on his body, mind, and spirit. Example, there are specific points that work on anxiety, trauma, improving swallowing, relieve numbness, encourage the brain to heal, etc. We also did cupping that releases tightness in the muscles. I am so thankful to have a place that aids healing in this way.
