Negative experience: Would not recommend coming to this practice if you’re a new patient! The two major issues I had: 1. Office billed insurance codes incorrectly, such as the lab work for my annual, resulting in me needing to cover it out of pocket. I have since been trying to resolve it with the office for MONTHS, and they have been entirely unresponsive and uncaring about fixing the billing 2. Predatory practices to charge more. They requested and scheduled me to come in to review my bloodwork as “part of the annual”, but only after I received the bill did I realize it would be charged as an independent doctors visit not covered by insurance (despite never seeing doctor Jenny on the second visit). They have also been unresponsive despite multiple calls from me to discuss this with a dr or office mgmt

Negative experience: Dr. Liu called to provide routine lab results following an annual physical, billed for an additional office visit.

Fantastic experience: In 2020, I began coming to Dr. Jenny Liu when I needed to find a location that did high dose IV Vit C for cancer (aka natural chemo as evidenced by medical studies, because I refused the other toxic kind, along with not doing surgery, and only had focused radiation to the tumors like a gamma knife to keep the rest of my body healthy and strong enough to fight). I came in to the office once a week for the first month. Then once every other week for the next 5 months. Then once a month for the remainder of the year. My scans have been clear with no evidence of disease, and I believe this (along with other God led and focused, deep detoxing and cancer fighting modalities) helped in my healing journey to become completely healed of a stage 3 triple negative breast cancer diagnosis in roughly 4 months (though I continued the IV Vit C along with the lifestyle changes, to make sure we got any potential circulating stem cells). I do NOT say "remission", nor do I "claim it as mine" by saying "my c..." because I also believe mindset and faith have a lot to do with your cells "listening" to you. It was a diagnosis they tried to give me stressing I needed chemo, radiation, and surgery immediately or I would die, but I gave that diagnosis right back! I am and will remain healed, as evidenced by my MRIs and bloodwork ever since! So, get the IV Vit C! It absolutely works!!! Just do the research. God bless!

Negative experience: Front end staff is EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. Staff does not greet you when you walk in and are on their personal phone in front of patients. They also do not do any basic research in insurance verification or benefits: YOU the PT are responsible for having the full knowledge of your insurance breakdown!! I’m sure the NP and the Dr are great but their staff are incompetent.

Her medical expertise, precise diagnosis, and spot-on treatment make her an exceptional physician. Recently, my 91-year-old mother caught the flu, which triggered heart failure and dangerously low sodium levels. She was wheezing, had swelling in her legs, and was disoriented. I called Dr. Liu’s office, and she immediately arranged an appointment for my mom. Thanks to her timely intervention, accurate diagnosis, and effective treatment, my mom’s condition improved rapidly. Within a week, her wheezing stopped, the swelling disappeared, and her sodium levels returned to normal. She is now fully alert and back to herself. Dr. Liu’s office is also wonderful—the staff is incredibly kind, professional, and efficient. They always make sure patients receive the best care in a welcoming environment. I highly recommend Dr. Liu to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated PCP!

Negative experience: I find it incredibly difficult to share this, as I still can't believe what has happened to me recently. I had a Pap smear with Dr. Liu on a Thursday afternoon and began bleeding immediately afterward. The bleeding continued throughout the weekend, so I called the office first thing Monday morning, as soon as they opened, to report that I had been bleeding since Thursday and needed an urgent callback from Dr. Liu. However, she didn’t return my call until 8 PM that evening. When she finally did, she dismissed my concerns, insisting that it was simply my period and that my higher-than-normal temperature was due to "egg-producing time." This was despite the fact that I explained my period was not due for another 10 days (as recorded during my initial visit). Without immediately conducting any further examination or providing a referral to an OB/GYN, she left me with no guidance, forcing me to wait in fear as my symptoms worsened. Over the next two days, the bleeding continued, my fever persisted, and I developed severe abdominal pain. By the time I finally went to the emergency room, my condition had deteriorated significantly. In just one week, I went from being an active runner, logging 20 miles a week, to barely being able to walk. This experience was both terrifying and deeply frustrating. The lack of urgency, dismissive attitude, and failure to provide proper medical care were unacceptable. I won't recommend her to anyone seeking thorough and responsible medical care.

Fantastic experience: 我有过敏毛病很多年了，发作时打喷嚏流鼻涕，严重时引发鼻炎或咽炎，去医院看通常就是开些抗过敏药，口服的喷鼻子的以及中草药和理疗我都用过。直到见到刘医生，她认真听取了我的情况，除开了对症常用药外，约我做了一个过敏源检查，发现主要原因是螨虫。螨虫非常小，肉眼是看不到，喜欢生活在枕头枕巾被子衣服等纺织品中，以人类或动物的汗液分泌物和脱落的皮屑为食。床上用品和衣服我们经常清洗，床垫枕头是家里螨虫生存主要的地方。刘医生建议我先去买一套防止螨虫过敏的床垫套和枕头套试一试。Walmart就有售卖，价格并不昂贵。螨虫存活时间不长大约10天，因此将床垫和枕头用防螨材料套子包起来，很快就见效。我按刘医生指导用上那防螨床垫套和枕头套，真的解决了困扰痛苦多年的毛病。万分感谢细心负责的刘医生。

Negative experience: One of the worst doctor in our area she don’t have any knowledge she always make you to run so many test without any reasons never go there again. Very, very rude.

Negative experience: This practice is essentially an MLM to sell replacement meals and shakes. I went in and asked about their weight loss program assuming it would be some combination of a version of ozempic and working with me to adjust my lifestyle. NOPE they took my weight, bloodwork, asked me zero questions about my exercise habits, diet etc. Dr. Liu was extremely rude telling me the only way I would lose weight was this program where I would be down to 600-800 calories a day but with “full nutrition” because of the shots and IVs I have to pay out of pocket for. She looks at my bloodwork and tells me my bad cholesterol is high because of “all the greasy and fried foods” I eat and my blood sugar is high because of “all the soda and sugary drinks I drink”. Did I mention she didn’t ask me one question? Because those things are not part of my lifestyle. The absolute worst bedside manner ever.

Between early November of 2022 and the end of June 2023 I have lost 100 pounds, which is no easy task when you are in your middle sixties years of age range. Dr. Liu and her staff have been courteous, respectful and considerate throughout the process providing encouragement, guidance and motivation to help keep me on track with my weight loss goals. As a primary care physician Dr. Liu’s comprehensive approach to health care and her subsequent referral to a highly qualified specialist resulted in an early diagnosis and treatment of a serious health condition that has now been resolved. Left untreated this medical condition could have had serious negative long term effects on my health if it had not been addressed, and resolved, at the early stages due to Dr. Liu’s care. I am certain I made the right decision when I chose the Unimed Center, Dr. Jenny Liu and her staff. I can recommend them highly based on my experience. Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Dr. Liu since 2016. She is very professional and friendly ; I can see how much she wants to help us stay on the healthy track. I’ve been struggling to loose weight and she is always very straightforward regarding the consequences to my overall health if I don’t stick to my diet and at the same time, she cheers up for me. I can tell how excited she gets when I loose a couple of pounds. It’s weird, but I feel more motivated to keep it up after I see her excitement about my little results. The staff is very friendly and caring and as long as I live in NJ, she will continue to be my PCP.

Besides being an excellent eland amazing professional she really loves what she do to save peoples lives. She is very honest and sincere. She always tell the patient the true. Fantastic experience: Dr. Liu is my sister Lisa's primary care doctor. I was not feeling good about my looks & struggled with weight. On blood pressure meds & on the borderline for diabetes. Sis told me when I was prepared mentally, she would take me to Dr. Liu. I started with Unimed in April 2022. She worked with me, encouraged me & at this point (February 25), I am 62 lbs. lighter and happier. I have a little ways more to go, but confident I will get there. Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about Dr Lui and her team. They are all compassionate about their job and it shows. They literally saved my life. I was living on a prayer and now I'm living a full and happy life. I'm on my way to a happier and healthier new version of myself and would not be able to do it without them.

Negative experience: These reviews must be fake or something, one of the WORST professionals I have ever seen, very rude and impolite. Her staff is not different, the same lady who answers the phone, draws blood and receives payments. They try to sell the expensive intravenous vitamins, my father who was very ill went for that and SEVEN trials later he asked her to stop, they still charged us half because she had opened the product. And they get mad if you don’t use and pay $150 dollars for each application, no matter how many punctures it takes. They clearly don’t care about the patient, which is unfortunately very common but they are even worse than average. Don’t take your loved ones there!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jenny Liu saved my life. Over 5 years ago she was able to recognize a tumor in my throat that an experienced ENT said he would not have seen. She then referred me to just the right ENT who knew the right cancer doctors who knew the right treatment for my specific cancer. Without her initial observation, I probably would not be here today. I find some of these negative reviews about her laughable. I have been going to her for years and have never found her to be anything but sincerely concerned about patients' well being. Also, I pay out of pocket for all my visits and her prices are nominal.

After turning 40 , I struggled with my weight. On both sides of my family , there are a lot of health problems. Due to her compassion and love for her patients, I am healthy. I’ve never had diabetes nor high blood pressure. It’s a struggle at times especially with all we have been through with COVID for the pass year and a half. Fantastic experience: I'm a medical student who did a clinical rotation with Dr. Liu for one month. From a students perspective, I saw that her staff is very helpful and accommodating. Everyone that works there have a great relationship with each other making the patients and their family members feel comfortable and welcomed. I also learned a lot from Dr. Liu who is very knowledgable and connects well with her patients. She is very thorough and explains medical terms well to her patients and always ensures that all of their questions are answered.

Fantastic experience: I was badly struggling with rashes for a couple of months. I met the allergist, but my condition got worse. Based on the great feedback about Dr. Liu from my colleague, i came to know about her. Finally, i met Dr. Liu and she diagnosed the cause of it within a second and she cured my rashes. I am feeling better and happy now. Doctor is awesome. Also she found out that i do have vitamin deficiency and she is helping me on it. I would say i am lucky enough as i met this doctor.

Negative experience: Cold doctor, doesn’t seem to care very short with you rushes you out but quick to book you for appointments for random tests to line her pockets. She’s a supposed dietician and weight loss specialist but has zero advice how to loose weight. Moral of the story don’t go here.

Fantastic experience: The environment is friendly and the staff is courteous. This made me very comfortable when I went to have my annual physical in June. Dr. Liu is caring and kind so I asked her for my colonoscopy because of my age. She recommended an excellent gastroenterologist. That recommendation and procedure saved my life. I went to Dr. Liu's office today to follow up. Every thing is under control now. I recommend that everyone is looking for a good care to see Dr. Liu.

She explains everything so well, is very attentive, and answers all your questions and concerns. All the staff and the nurses are very helpful and very knowledgeable. Negative experience: I had a not-so-good experience regarding prescriptions in my last visit. The doctor told me she would e-prescribe two medications during the visit. But 2.5 hours later I still had not seen them in my pharmacy's account. So I called the office and they said the prescriptions will get sent out shortly. An hour later when I pickup my medicines, the pharmacist only handed me one prescription because they only received one prescription order. Since It's late and off office hour, I called the doctor's office the next morning and told the receptionist what happened and she said she would leave a note to the doctor. Later that morning, my wife happened to have an appointment to see the doctor and finally got the e-prescription issued. It would have saved all the problems if she had e-prescribed before the patient left the examination room.

Fantastic experience: Very detailed. Amongst all the doctors I have went to, she is the only one that did a detailed physical exam that helped me find out what was wrong and why over the years I'm constantly tired and nearly impossible to wake up. She is very detailed in explaining the symptoms and what can be done to improve my overall health.

Fantastic experience: I had made Dr. Liu my primary care Dr. A few years ago. She is knowledgeable and straight to the point. The staff are all kind and personable. I highly recommend Unimed Center.

Negative experience: first time to see Dr. Liu on May, 2019; she is a good doctor; but the group of staff need to improve the skills by not over charge the patient 's co pay; my insurance id card shows office visiting co-pay is 30.00, but the staff insistently charged 70.00 and that is their policy; even the over charged amount must be refund, however gives me a bad image showing their poor unprofessional skills at the work place. right after visiting their office, i reported to my insurance, the insurance said they were totally wrong by doing this, if they doubted about the co-pay amount, they should call my insurance before collecting it.

Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment in this office and waited 1.5 hours just to meet with a dietition and be put back in the waiting area to meet with the doctor. I ended up having to leave without ever meeting the doctor due to the extended wait time. The dietition had provided me with their pamphlet and the out of pocket costs were about $3,000 with weekly doctor visits, shots, and meal replacements. I'm sorry but I was severely disappointed and never once even received a call back to reschedule or follow up to this appointment.

Fantastic experience: I just started going here, and I am happy that I did. The entire staff is extremely friendly and they make you feel comfortable. Dr. Liu is also extremely knowledgable. Will definitely recommend my friends and family here.

Negative experience: I had a really bad experience here. I was so excited to get medical help with weightloss & this place dashed my hope. All the doctor did was push optifast ( meal replacement/ liquid diet) someone is definitely greasing her palm to sell this stuff. Out of pocket cost is around 3,000 dollars. She told me that I can't be trusted with food, and I will never lose weight without it. She didnt even ask about my current diet, had she asked she would have known I have been eating healthy for the past 7 months. I just wanted some guidance from a professional. This place is a joke. She had people lined up to buy the meal replacement from her. Stuff like this should be illegal honestly.
