Negative experience: You 100% do not want to go to this unprofessional and bigot place. They are not friendly and even with an appointment you're treated with disrespect and they look at you as if you're dirty. I immediately walked out after they treated everyone before me and those that came after me and saw another Dr the same day at a real hospital. The office is strangely designed and small and they want you to have the allusion that they treat all of these athletes but I only saw old white woman coming in wearing small tennis skirts so you do the math!!!

Fantastic experience: I love Dr. Bates. Being new in town, I left my favorite chiropractor in California. Your back and neck are something you don’t want just anyone working on, but Dr. Bates is awesome. They take insurance, so my copay is around $50, but I feel like Dr. Bates listens and takes his time to get to fix the problem. I feel very comfortable with him and I’ve seen him care for clients both young and older. I highly recommend his office.

Fantastic experience: The best! As a former D1 athlete who is now a 50+ year-old weekend warrior, I was blown away by the treatment here. It takes me back to my days with the team trainers who could fix just about anything aching on my body. Dr. Bates is amazing and has got me back on my feet and ready to face some more playing time. He was recommended to me by multiple people and I think he takes care of nearly everyone in the area who plays a sport whether in high school, college, or the golden years. :)

I looked up local chiropractors and was blown away by all the great reviews his clinic had so I though why not check them out. I was completely blown away by his professionalism and how quickly he pinpointied exactly what was causing my back issues. I seriously walked out feeling like a new man that day! I now routinely fly from Boulder, CO where I live to seek the absolute best treatment from Dr. Bates and his amazing staff!! Fantastic experience: I used to have my doubts about Chiropractors. But I had never been to one until I had pain in my back that was so bad I had to stop numerous times in the middle of a mountain bike (mtb) race in 2013. So, I decided it was time to get help. Dr. Bates was highly recommended by numerous friends that were both athletes and non-athletes. He has always been able to relieve my pain every time. Anything from a mtb wreck to a trail running disaster to a house remodel gone wrong to a regular crick in the neck. My teenage daughter has curvature of the spine and I have been taking her as well on a regular basis. Not only has it not progressed, but it decreased. I have also taken her for growing pains in which she greatly benefited. I highly recommend Bates Chiropractic and Sports Therapy to anyone who is looking for pain relief no matter the cause or location of the pain. You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I am a police officer and athlete who pushes my abilities to the limits.. I saw Dr. Bates as a last ditch effort to address shin splits I had been having after years of running. Two visits later, they were like I never had them in the first place. That was nearly 4yrs ago. Since then I have had him work on my neck, back, calves, shoulders, and feet. Each and every visit had great results.. I have referred no less than 75 people to him. Being the only ART specialist within 2-300 miles, I don't know where I'd be without his treatment..

Fantastic experience: Over the years Dr. Bates has been the single best chiropractor and active release therapist that I could find in Shreveport. His acquired skills, experience, and education are evident the entire time he works with you. I have consistently gone in with injuries that I did not think a short visit could fix, only to come away feeling better every time. Active release therapy is a life saver for people who train or play sports, but it has to be done well and with care. Dr. Bates always explains what he is doing and why he is doing it. He is direct and straight forward, and the thing I always appreciated most as an elite triathlete was a straight answer and evaluation. No false hope, just honesty. I found his professional opinion to be one that I could consistently trust, as much I could depend on the results of his work. If I, or someone I know has musculoskeletal pain then this is the only place to go. I can't even give a second best choice, because it only makes sense to go with the best option when you are dealing with the only body you have. Just make appointments in advance because he is no secret here in town.

He is always Professional and provides the utmost chiropractic care That other chiropractors Can only dream of providing. He stays up to date with the most efficient and effective continuing education techniques that other chiropractors I have visited in and out of the state cannot provide. Immediate relief every time I go.

Fantastic experience: I was Dr. Bates' patient several years ago. He helped so much, and took time to explain what was happening. He knew I came in from quite a distance, so even spent extra time and gave exercises I could do to keep me going till the next visit. Most chiropractic work helps me for a few days; with Dr. Bates, I felt good for 3-4 weeks! He gave back my mobility in my knees and neck. I have since moved back to Canada, and I really miss his care!
