Fantastic experience: Came for chiro treatment after years of neglecting radiating shoulder and neck pain, limited neck rotation, with constant large knots in the shoulder blade area. Fantastic experience: I can not say enough about the healing power of Dr. Lance and his chiropractic care. Many people do not know that hiatal hernia can be treated with specialized adjustments. There are not many chiropractors that offer this, but Dr. Lance does! Don't resort to toxic medications and unnecessary surgery. Let Dr. Lance help your body heal from hiatal hernia the natural way. Through his adjustments, supplement and nutrition recommendations and targeted exercises, I am finally healing and getting back to a normal life after months of suffering. Negative experience: I decided to try Michaux Family Chiropractic roughly 10 years ago and Dr. Michaux said he could help heal me from migraines. With this exciting news I eagerly attended visits there for the next year. Throughout the visits I expressed pain in my neck from the "adjustments". He assured me that this was normal and that it would get worse before it gets better. Looking back I now realize that was a foolish thing to believe. Ever since, my headaches have been intensified to the back of my head where my spine meets my skull. I feel I will be stuck dealing with this horrible pain off and on for the rest of my life. I am a believer in natural and holistic care, but from my experience, cracking your joints is not an affective way to do this. It may not be detrimental to some that can continue to heal throughout the adjustments, but maybe they were healing regardless. Michaux Family Chiropractic, I pray that you consider my condition as you continue your practice.

Dr. Stromberg is our doctor and he is kind, honest, and delivers quality service and care. He got my teen back up and running (literally) after a car accident and she was able to continue sports. I’ve had back and hip problems for years and after consistent treatment, I finally feel like I’m making progress. Positive experience: Update: Dr lance reached out to me because he saw that i wasn’t completely satisfied. I really appreciated that call and it shows that they do really care. Basically he explained that they are down a doctor and some office staff due to COVID and that wasn’t something I considered when I initially wrote this review. Being short handed in a fast paced environment isn’t easy, and I understand that. So with that being said I understand why the visit seemed a bit rushed. I greatly appreciate Dr Lance calling me to make it right and I really appreciate the fact that given the short handed situation, they still were able to get patients in and perform their services. That level of care, and the humility it had to take to call me, earns them an additional star in my book. I’d be willing to come back to Michaux Family Chiropractic knowing this. ——————————————————————————— I’m big on writing reviews and honestly struggled with this one. I started getting severe back pain last week and decided to check out a chiropractor. Michaux was one of the closest ones to me so I made an appointment. Here’s why I’m only giving 3 stars. 1) upon arriving at my first appointment, I was expecting to have an adjustment done that day. Instead, i waited for about 20 minutes before Being taken back and asked a few questions. After those questions I was given an X-ray and was told “see you tomorrow”. Confused, I asked if i was getting an adjustment this day and he said no. I scheduled appointment for the next day. 2) On my second visit I was taken back promptly and placed on a mechanical massaging bed for a few minutes. Then i was moved to a “room” which wasn’t a room, but a small cubicle essentially where i had my first adjustment performed. The doctor cracked my neck and sides and then said “okay see you Friday”, again I was a little confused because i expected to have more time with him, and expected to have more done than that. It was probably all of about 3 minutes that he spent with me. 3) Visit three was practically the same thing, except this time he cracked my middle back. While this certainly relieved my pain, it was another 3 minute visit before he told me to have a nice day. My issue isn’t with the services performed per say, but I guess I just felt like communication was lacking. I wish I’d have known going into this is was going to be a series of visits, with work done in increments. Perhaps this is normal, but it wasn’t what I was expecting. A bit more communication would’ve made me more comfortable. Nonetheless, the office staff was all pleasant and polite and my back is feeling better.

Fantastic experience: I was told not to go to a chiropractor. That it would make things worse. Well let me tell you! I have been in pain so long that I finally listen to myself. I text their office last night (after hours). And Dr. Lance answered right away. We texted a bit, he was even willing to call me. But I told him I would call his office in the morning when his office was open(he was at dinner and I didn’t want to disturb him).He did answer my question about pricing, I was worried I couldn’t afford it. He then told me that regardless of money he would make sure I was taken care of. I called this morning 5/8/2020. And I was given an appointment the same day. They did my exam and x-ray. And he did my adjustment. Of course I still have pain but not as intense as when I walked in. Can’t be fixed in one try! It’s a slow process but I am very confident that Dr Lance and all the staff will get me where I need to be. Thank you all so much for your kindness and professionalism!! God Bless You!

Fantastic experience: Michaux Family Chiropractic is the best chiropractic office I have ever visited! I have been going to chiropractors for the last 17 years. Dr. Kurt, Dr. Jamee, and Dr. Dan have done SO much to help me with my dizziness. They specialize in corrective care. They get my spine aligned correctly with adjustments and then teach me how to exercise so that I can strengthen my muscles to avoid experiencing the dizziness anymore. Then I just need maintenance adjustments periodically. They are super with my kids who receive adjustments occasionally - especially after heavy sports or a fall. Their personalized attention to our health and needs is unheard of these days. All 3 of the doctors are friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. When I walk in feeling lousy, their encouraging attitude makes me feel like I can do this - I will feel better - with their help. I have seen them be so kind to the elderly and cutsie with the little children - they all have a great sense of humor and a great rapport with everyone. The office staff is a great part of the team there. They keep things running smoothly. The ladies at the front desk work very well together with each jumping in where they are needed so that no one feels ignored. They are always friendly and quickly get to know people by first name. They are very efficient - when they say they'll get something done for you - they do! They never rush people or push them aside. They are very professional yet very friendly and accommodating to each person's needs. It is always easy to make appointments there with morning and evening appointments available. And they are always willing to fit someone in or stay late when a patient has an issue that needs attention. They also have an answering system that allows people to get in touch with the doctors quickly if needed while the office is not open. People always leave their office with a smile and feeling better than when they walked in. I am very grateful that I found this office!

Negative experience: We live in Chicago, and have been seeing a local Chiropractor for years. We needed one around the Davenport, FL area. My wife's neck went out of adjustment by sleeping on a hotel pillow. We called out local chiropractor, and they suggested we seek out a Palmer trained Chiropractor. We thought we found this in Michaux Family Chiropractic. We called on Saturday, and set an appointment with an understanding that we pay about $40 for an adjustment. Our awesome chiropractor in Chicago faxed over records and spoke to Michaux's office on Saturday. We set our appointment for Monday morning at 9:30 AM. Upon visiting, we were deluged with a ton of forms, and being asked multiple times if my wife was involved in a car accident. They wanted our insurance information. They wanted our Social Security Number, and a host of other forms....for a one time adjustment! After waiting 40 minutes, we were moved into a "consultation" room, where we were told that although they have our records and understand our situation, they must perform a $140 exam in order to perform the adjustment. This experience was nothing short of a ambulance chasing, bait and switch tactic that was a complete waste of everyone's time. All we needed was a 10 minute $40 adjustment. We wasted an hour in the office, and 20 minutes each way, as well as wasted our home Chiropractics's time with talking and faxing forms for no good reason.

Negative experience: Wife Went there for checkup and they lied about insurance coverage. Created a huge list of false medical conditions that outraged my regular practicioner. On top of that, 4 months later, after we coincidentally decide not to return, they start to bill us for services they claim, were suddenly not covered. Vindictive, rude, liars. I wouldn't send anyone to these thieves. I hate Michaux Family Chiropractic of Clermont.

Fantastic experience: I have been under the care of Dr. Michaux for the last year and have had many health gains since being under his care. He truly cares for his patients and makes you feel like family! My kids love going to Dr. Michaux and feel very comfortable with him.My daughter recently had severe back pain and after an adjustment & taking Exfuze Pro, which he recommended, she was playing volleyball the next day. My son just recently had a ear infection and Dr. Michaux was able to bring relief to him through his adjustment. He even called us twice personally following the adjustment to check on him.
