Fantastic experience: There are no words to express how grateful I am to the staff of Physicians Premiere Weight & Wellness center. When I started the program one year ago, I was not sure if it was going work. The reason is that I have tried several diets and all of them have failed. After my first meeting I was optimistic if I have made the right choice. Now I realize that I made the right choice. One year later I have lost 120 pounds and counting. I no longer drink energy drinks or eat fast food. My health was quickly declining when I started. With the help of the staff, my health has greatly improved. I will always be thankful to them. My only regret was not coming here sooner.

Fantastic experience: Words cannot describe the amazing experience I’ve had here, and I’m so proud I was recommended to this location! It has exceeded my expectations in every way. I started my journey at 256 lbs with Dr. Patel in November 2024 and am now in the 160s. I feel healthy, full of energy, and more positive about my future than ever! I’ve met with most of the team members, and they’ve all been incredibly supportive through the eating, exercise, and maintenance phases. Negative experience: I am not one of those people that like to make negative posts, but I feel I need to as I was lied to when I signed up. I was told my insurance would cover my visits only to get billed months later over $800 after already paying $700. I asked about insurance and was told it was covered and it was not! At least not most of it! They gave me their letter to send to my insurance company and it did not help in any way! Make sure to contact your insurance company prior to joining because they will tell you just about anything!

Negative experience: I never met the doctor the entire time I was with this group. The highest I got was the nurse practitioner. Based on this alone I don’t recommend them. I finally gave up after 6 weeks as I was distraught with their shakes and powders for every single meal. I lost 20 lbs because I was being starved on 800 calories a day but it crept back on as soon as I stopped. So the diet doesn’t work! They were eager to push Ozempic.

Fantastic experience: I’ve never felt so connected to a group that totally understands the struggle of weight loss. Compassionate staff and so extremely helpful! Down 50 pounds in eight weeks.

Fantastic experience: I had originally left a 1 star review for this practice due to an HSA billing issue that I felt trapped with. The office's new manager, Maria, helped me resolve my entire issue and managed to help me get my claim approved, saving me from having to repay a significant amount of money to my HSA account. I just wanted to replace that 1 star review with this 5 star one that reflects how attentively I was recently supported in resolving a longstanding issue I had, despite me having moved on from my time with the practice. Thank you Maria & Dr. Patel!

Positive experience: The office is nice and the staff is very friendly. IF you can get the weight loss drugs ($1099/mth) AND can afford the meal plan ($700+/mth), then I have no doubt it will work wonders. They prescribed Zepbound and said there was a coupon. I bought the food (non-refundable). The coupon saves you $550 off the $1099 price per month for Zepbound. So far, no pharmacy can process the coupon or they say it might go through sometimes. I am retired so I can spend my time making all these calls and waiting for call backs, but it’s very discouraging when you want to get started. The ‘food plan’ is 3 shakes, a protein bar, soup and a 400 calorie meal per day. If I had the willpower to do that on my own without medicine, I wouldn’t be fat :) So I need the Zepbpund to jump start the program. You can find recipes for the 400cal meal on their instagram. I finally gave up on getting the coupon from ElliLilly for Zepbound and paid full price. I will say, that the office staff returned all my calls same day and did what they could to help me. I feel very supported by them. It’s just annoying (and expensive) that ElliLilly doesn’t have a solution on the coupon deal. So be prepared to pay or have a plan B.

Fantastic experience: The best of the best! I have lost close to 30 lbs since May of this year (2023) after struggling for years … Dr Patel and all at her center are just simply marvellous! Very compassionate and encouraging …thanks all of you !! And what was really good was that they don’t come across as “ gimme your money “ !! Everything cost and all options laid out on the table no false promises and a lot of encouragement either way….if you are on the fence they don’t seem to be in a hurry for you to decide…between DR Patel total openness and the encouragement of my husband I am so glad I decided “aye” very very happy indeed!!!! Fantastic experience: I can’t believe the progress I’ve made in such a short time! With the support of the nutrition and medical team, I lost 30 pounds in 4 months with 10 to go. I didn’t feel like I was starving myself. I’m full and satisfied. Their meal substitutions are fine, not gourmet (but hey that’s how I got here, lol). Relatively inexpensive per meal. Guilt free coaching and billing to my insurance takes a big portion of the stress out of the picture. This is an excellent investment of your time and money to get yourself to a healthier, happier you. My friends and coworkers are always asking me what I’ve been doing and I’ve been making in person referrals to them.

Fantastic experience: I didn’t know what to expect on my first appointment at PPWC. I was very nervous and anxious. Dr. Patel was very warm and friendly. She made me feel so comfortable. The staff is nothing short of amazing. They have been so encouraging throughout this weight loss journey. It has been life changing for me. 55 pounds down and still going strong. I can not recommend this practice enough.

Negative experience: I went to Physician's Premiere a few months ago and signed up for their 6 week package (paid $1200) as well as their 12 week maintenance package afterwards (paid $300) and was told that the price included all of my food products and my bi-weekly visits where I would weigh-in, meet with a health coach and pick up my food for the next 2 weeks. I recently found out that they have been billing my insurance for every appointment calling it a doctors visit even though I only actually met the doctor once. I had specifically asked them about that at one point when they asked me for my insurance card and they promised me that the only time they bill insurance is if I actually meet with the doctor. I'm now left with thousands of dollars worth of co-pays and deductibles that I'm supposed to pay for out of pocket. This place is a complete scam and they lie to their patients and insurance companies. You can purchase the same nutrition products on Amazon for half the price.

Fantastic experience: In keeping my promise to get healthy in retirement, I joined PPWWC to help me lose weight. Tried on my own, but the process was too slow. Since joining end of May, I've averaged about 10lbs month for a total loss of 54 lbs so far! I feel great, blood pressure meds reduced and hopefully, will be off them soon. Fantastic experience: So I started this program because I couldn't fit into my clothes and I had just gone through menopause and I could not shake the extra pounds and I had entirely too many clothes to have to go buy new ones and so I started the program so that I could lose enough weight just to get back in my clothes and when I say the results have been phenomenal they have been phenomenal! I would recommend this program to anyone who wanted to lose 10 pounds or 100 pounds and the results are even more than just the weight loss I've also been able to manage those cravings for carbs and the energy is through the roof and I just overall feel amazing...so do it just do it!

Fantastic experience: I come all the way from Annapolis because of the outstanding progress i have been able to have due to their superb education, coaching, mentoring, guidance and direction. The whole office and medical professionals are superb and are patient with all my questions. Even if i gain a couple of pounds they are always encouraging and not dismissive. I always leave the office motivated to continue on my weight loss journey. My blood work is the best in ten years and i feel so much better and my face does not look it was stung by a wasp. Lol. I am more active with the weight loss. Not done with my journey and will continue working with this outstanding team.

She really takes the time to talk with you, answer your questions and try to find the best solution for your needs. I didn't have a ton to lose (10-15lbs) and they helped me find a solution that met my needs. After working out six days a week, counting calories and watching the scale not move, I came to PPWW and I've lost 13lbs in the past 6 weeks! I'm even more excited to continue through the maintenance phase with them. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Oh my goodness! How do I explain how much Physicians Premier Weight and Wellness Center has changed my life. In June, the pandemic had gotten me down and I was stuck at my forever plateau, 235-245 lbs. I needed something different. Other than WW. I set up an appointment with PPWWC. I met with Dr Patel and discussed the different plans available. I started with the Rapid Plan. I followed up with the Gradual plan. And now I am on the Gradual 2 plan. I am 5 months in. I have lost from 243 to 189. Over 50 pounds. I am working towards a healthy weight, not a number on the chart, but a healthy weight I can maintain. The staff here is so supportive and kind. I love my visits with everyone and appreciate how they cheer you son. I can’t wait to see what the new year will bring thanks to this wellness journey, guided by Dr Patel and her staff.

Fantastic experience: I started seeing Dr. Patel for weigh and nutrition issues about a year and a half ago. She was actually my primary care physician back then :) I have lost 70 pounds (only a few more to go!!!) - through the help of Dr. Patel and her wonderful staff. I have used the medical meal plan (which I highly recommend if you want to jump start weight loss), but I also used other approaches, under the guidance of Dr. Patel: calorie counting, metabolic rate testing, balancing macros, intermittent fasting techniques, and lots and lots of nutritional counseling. This entire office is very supportive and welcoming. Most importantly, they never give up on you - even if you may have given up on yourself. I always feel recharged and motivated when I leave Dr. Patel's office. I am absolutely certain that I would not be where I am today in my weight loss goals without the help and support of Dr. Patel and all of her staff.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff at Physicians Premier Weight & Wellness Center is excellent. They are caring, warm , friendly and knowledgeable. I had lost a lot of weight on my own just by counting calories. But the weight lost slowed down to a lb a month. I started with Dr. Patel and Amna in December 2018. They taught me to eat a balanced diet of protein, carbohydrates and fats. I had never paid any attention to macronutrients before. Since then, about 10 months later, I have lost about 55 lbs and have reached my goal weight. Without their expertise I would still be stuck eating the wrong foods. They know the science behind weight loss, not fad diets. Highly recommend.
