Positive experience: This review encompasses my experience with both the Sono Bello Silver Spring Consultation Center and Baltimore Surgical Center. Procedures Done: Chest, Upper and Lower Abdomen, Waist, Abex, Back Bra Roll, Upper Back, and Inner Thigh Cost: $20k+ Would I recommend Sono Bello: Absolutely NOT. Sono Bello operates as a high-volume business, prioritizing throughput over patient care. Even for those seeking cost-effective, speedy procedures, I'd steer clear of Sono Bello. They conveniently omit the fact that they charge separately for each body part, a revelation that can significantly inflate costs. It would always be recommended that if procedures are chosen for your Upper Abdomen to include the Lower Abdomen? Clearly, Sono Bello's focus is on quick, minor procedures and rapid turnover. Do I regret my decision: Absolutely NOT. However, I'm deeply disappointed. Despite my optimism for positive healing results, I'm left disillusioned by the lack of professionalism and respect displayed by Sono Bello. One significant reason for this review stems from a glaring "error" made by the Silver Spring consultation center. Despite clear communication about my desired procedures and a provided quote, I was blindsided on the day of my second surgery. Less than one hour after being discharged, driving home, still under the influence of post-operative medication, I received a call informing me of a "forgotten" charge. This blatant disregard for my well-being and legal rights, coupled with their inability to adhere to basic protocols, is inexcusable. The fact that they had the audacity to request approval for additional charges while I was not in my right state of mind, still recovering from the medications, without giving me the common courtesy or decency to wait until the next day or when I was in a clear state of mind, is utterly reprehensible. How dare they!!! The nursing staff at the Baltimore location was lack luster at best. Their incompetence ranged from a lack of knowledge to the point of me calling another Sono Bellow location for information, to dangerous mishaps during procedures. The nurse assigned to me demonstrated a shocking lack of proficiency. During the IV placement procedure, she struggled to insert the needle correctly. Her repeated attempts resulted in an excruciating mix-up, causing IV fluid to spill into my bloodstream, causing intense burning sensation. Despite her evident struggle, she persisted, attempting multiple times and failing, before I firmly refused further attempts and demanded another nurse. This negligence and lack of basic skill highlight the alarming inadequacies in Sono Bello's patient care standards. Due to their overwhelming patient load, attempting to contact Sono Bello for assistance or clarification proves futile. My advice? Seek answers from alternative Sono Bello locations, if at all. I am on a journey of recovery and healing, I remain hopeful but cautious. Should I consider further procedures, Sono Bello will not be my choice. Tips for prospective patients: • Be aware that the number of procedures performed is contingent upon weight and BMI, often necessitating multiple surgeries. • Follow-up appointments solely involve photo documentation, with no opportunity for direct interaction with doctors. • Do not expect personalized attention or pre-surgery consultations with doctors. • Review cost breakdowns meticulously; Sono Bello charges separately for each treated area. • Prepare for significant post-surgical discomfort, despite claims of minimal invasiveness. My experience with Sono Bello has left me disenchanted and dissatisfied. Proceed with caution, and consider alternative options before entrusting them with your care.

Fantastic experience: My consultation experience was the absolute best ever. I got there very early since I knew I would most likely have paper work to fill out. My appointment was at 10:30am at the Silver Spring office. Parking was a breeze. Once I got to their building, I checked in with security at the front desk and she let me up to the 8th floor. Once there I was greeted by Tyra. She was like a breath of fresh air. Loved her positive energy. Natalie was my consultant. She too has awesome positive energy and made me at ease. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The whole experience because of Tyra and Natalie made me sure I want to go through with the process with Sono Bello.

Negative experience: 1st off the scheduling rep that sent me the text for the appt did not include the suite #, floor or parking instructions. When I got to the building, I called the silver spring off to inquire where to park. She informed me where & said they're on lunch & off doesn't open back up until 2p. Even then she did not mention what floor or suite #. So when i got to the elevator P1 I had no clue where I was going. So i called again & obtain the info. Now here goes the worse part. I got inside the elevator & press # 8. But, it took me to the 11th flr. That elevator refused to take me to the 8th floor after multiple tries. It took me back to P1 where I got stuck in the elevator & door would NOT open. So I panicked & pressed the alarm button several times. This is because of the employee's lack of customer service. Thank God the elevator took me back up to the 11th flr. When the door finally opened, there was a lady standing there waiting for the elavator & she was the one who told me I could not go to the 8th flr w/o a key fab. She was the one who told me I needed to go to the 1st flr & ask security to allow me to get to the 8th flr. That is very significant info your employee failed to share w/ a pt who has a consultation appt for the 1st time, don't you think... So unprofessional that I had to make 3 calls to get to your facility. The only person that changed my mood yesterday where I decided to continue w/ the visit, was Lauren. Management really need to coach the scheduling staffs to include that important piece of info when scheduling appts with Pts.

Negative experience: 9/22/20 I arrived at my appt and was told to full out paper work after i turned in my paperwork was told they would have to do my consultation over the phone because I was 10mins late. I called to inform them that I was in traffic. There could have told me over the phone instead they wait until I am there. Huge inconvenience, very inconsiderate and poor customer service.

She went over the entire procedure, answered all my questions, shared her success and was overall enthusiastic, empathetic and knowledgeable. Negative experience: Avoid this place at all cost. First they hound you about scheduling a consultation after an online inquiry, then when you schedule a consultation you will receive a text message that the consults are running 45 minutes behind . You arrive 45 minutes late because of the text received only for them to have you waiting for 30 mins in the lobby. After waiting 30 mins , someone from Sono Bello comes out and says they didn’t even know you were here ... yes this is true. Then she takes you to the back without apologizing and has you fill out an intake form. Then she ask you what areas do you want done . I say abdomen, she ask again what areas. I don’t know .. I’m here for a consult so the doctor can tell me what areas should be done to achieve the results I am looking for. She immediately starts telling me about prices. Ma’am I don’t even know what I’m getting , how are we taking prices already. Can I see a doctor first? She tells me that I cannot are a doctor until I schedule a procedure. Huh? So what does this consult entail? She says a meeting with the consultant . So where is the consultant? She says at lunch. Soooooo why the hell did I drive 40 mins out here to speak with finance about .... I don’t know . Please don’t waste your time.

First of all she’s beautiful inside and out, very professional and exceptionally skilled in how she deals with your insecurities and fears. Positive experience: Explained everything very well. Assisted in financing and made financing affordable. Personable friendly. Would give a 5 star if they were a little easier to get a hold of. The Tyson corner office sometimes has to relay a message. Having the liposuction and ex of abdomin and waist in 2 weeks and feel confident and excited after meeting the experienced surgeon . Will rate the Tyson office after the procedure.
Negative experience: Once you sign the contract they are extremely unprofessional, rude and impossible to contact. I reported them to better business bureau.
