Fantastic experience: When I started going to Dr. Grivas I had excruciating lower back pain! Every morning it would take me awhile to be able to bend freely, had to wait until my back stretched out a bit before the pain would lessen every single morning. Also, was not able to sleep on my back unless my knees were bent because it was always too painful, and being a lifelong back sleeper this was very frustrating. After seeing Dr Grivas, for a good 7 months or so my back has been so much better! I am able to move much faster, bend in the morning, and sleep on my back which makes me so happy. Dr Grivas, is not your normal chiropractor that does the same thing to everybody, he really takes the time to figure out your individual plan and what you need. I highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Grivas is unlike any chiropractor I have been to. He used muscle stretching techniques and pressure points to decrease my pain. When I first started going to him I could barely move my neck. Now I have a much better range of motion and my pain level has decreased dramatically. Without all the pain, I am in a much better mood. Dr. Grivas is definitely the one to see when you feel like nothing else is working. Or better yet, just book an appointment with him right off the bat!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Grivas is a rare chiropractor. He sees 1 patient at a time and spends the entire session using haha on techniques to relieve pain and increase range of motion. So many chiropractors have multiple patients and it feels like they are doing the same technique to everyone. Dr. Grivas uses specific techniques for your individual needs. Fantastic experience: Dr. Grivas takes the time to understand whatever pain I’m experiencing as well as the cause behind it. Whether it’s, ankle/foot pain, neck tension, back pain, or anything else he works at the root cause of the pain and spends time addressing it. Fantastic experience: I had never heard of Active Release Technique (ART) until a yoga teacher told me to give it a go. I did physical therapy, which was excellent and needed to get to that next step of recovery. I my experience with Dr Phil has been transformative for my foot mobility. From his extensive knowledge and treatment approach, he truly stands out as a top-notch practitioner in the field. Dr Phil exhibits professionalism, expertise, and a genuine commitment to improving your well-being, highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Grivas is nothing short of spectacular. He’s incredibly friendly and always greets you with a smile. His active release techniques have helped me recover from two soft tissue injuries quicker than I could’ve expected. The most emblematic example of Dr. Grivas’ character was while I was seeing him after a surgery. The surgeon's assessment was that there was a muscular issue, so Dr. Grivas worked on active release with me for about three months to resolve it. After noticing very little improvement to the joint / overall function, Dr. Grivas suggested it was a structural problem, not muscular, and pointed out exactly what he thought was wrong. I took his recommendation to HSS and the team there agreed with his findings of structural damage and confirmed I needed a revision surgery to treat the underlying condition. After that second (revision) surgery at HSS my hip feels great; but, I owe a lot of that to Dr. Grivas for initially identifying the larger problem and offering his medical recommendation on how to correct it. Dr. Grivas could’ve kept trying to treat the issue - knowing it likely wouldn’t have worked - but instead he was honest and caring and helped me get the treatment I needed. You’d be hard pressed to find a better chiropractor / active release specialist than Dr. G!

Fantastic experience: My job requires me to be on the computer all day and with additoinal phone usage everyday my hands/tendons has been bothering me and causing hand and arm pain. Dr. Grivas was able to help me do hand movements that release the tendons which relieve the pain I had. My appointment with Dr Grivas always start on time and I do feel great leaving his office.

Fantastic experience: I thought I needed surgery; I was wrong. Several years ago, I was having chronic right shoulder pain. After doing some research, I learned about “weightlifter’s shoulder” and sought medical treatment. Eventually, I had surgery on the right shoulder and, it took YEARS to get it back to the point when I could actually start lifting weights again. A couple months later, I started feeling the same pain in my left shoulder. I was not eager to go for surgery again and started looking for alternatives. I could NOT be happier I did. Not only has the left shoulder pain gone away, but, my range of motion is greater than it was before. Dr. Grivas is knowledgeable, professional, methodical, and thorough. I would highly recommend him to anyone as a “first step” (and likely last step) for joint pain.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Grivas has kept my entire family heathy. I met Dr. Grivas after my son Sam had a devastating accident that left him a quadriplegic. As he months went on after he came home from the hospital, I watched as my son’s spine twisted from the spastic muscles that accompany paralysis. It was heartbreaking. When I spoke with Dr. Grivas for the first time I was worried that Sam might be too much for him to take on, but that was not the case. Dr. Grivas wasn’t intimidated at all by Sam’s situation. He told me he happy to help and would love to be a part of Sam’s recovery. Not only does Dr. Grivas adjust Sam, but he also researches his injury regularly and finds the best approaches to benefit him. I’m happy to say that Sam’s back is now straight and he continue to see marked improvements each week that he meets with Dr. Grivas.
