Negative experience: “Three years as a patient, turned away for being 2 minutes late — empty waiting room, called ahead, still refused. Zero compassion.” I have been a patient here for over three years, but after my last experience I feel compelled to warn others about how poorly this office values its patients’ time and loyalty. I had a 9:00 a.m. appointment today. Their policy is that if you are more than 5 minutes late, you must reschedule. I arrived at 9:06 — as I stepped in the door, the clock literally turned to 9:07. I had even called from my car to let them know I was almost there, but they put me on hold for eight minutes. By the time I walked in, I was still on hold with their office. I wasn’t there for a full exam, just to review simple lab results, which takes only a few minutes. The waiting room was completely empty. No backlog, no patients waiting, nothing. I asked if the doctor could still see me, given that I was two minutes past their “cut-off” and had just driven 50 minutes each way (on top of taking time off work). The front desk staff refused. They repeated “policy” like robots, without any consideration for common sense or patient care. This rigid, unyielding approach is the opposite of what healthcare should be. Policies exist for a reason, but when they’re applied with zero flexibility — even when the patient calls ahead, even when the waiting room is empty, even when it’s only two minutes — that’s not professionalism, that’s arrogance. After three years as a loyal patient, I was treated as if my time and effort meant absolutely nothing. This office clearly cares more about hiding behind a policy than about serving the people who trust them with their health.

He is extremely caring, knowledgeable, and patient, and I would say he is likely one of the best primary doctors in South Florida , in my opinion. My son, who is a kidney transplant patient was also under his care for many years, and he always felt like he was getting top-notch medical care. We are very grateful to him. I have been seeing Elizabeth(Lizzy) Elam PA-C, in same practice, and I am very fortunate to be under her care. She has a lovely, caring personality and is very knowledgeable medically. She gives very good advice and is very efficient. I highly recommend Lizzy.

Negative experience: The most unprofessional Doctor’s office I’ve ever dealt with. Why? Where to start? First, I left multiple voicemails requesting a call back for an appointment that were not returned. When I finally spoke to a human a scheduled an appointment, they cancelled and offered one two weeks later, which I declined. To make matters worse, they sent me a ”confirm appointment” text, which I confirmed. I headed there thinking I was lucky and they were able to fit me in. Wrong! I was informed was a “system error” and I did not have an appointment. If you want to deal with professionals and a competent staff, DO NOT go here! If you still choose to, godspeed.

Negative experience: The physician Drue is great but it is impossible to get in touch with this place, they don't pick up phones and have incorrect billed me (probably on purpose) several times for large amounts. Very unorganized and unprofessional practice that is after your money

Positive experience: Dr. Moraes’ office is organized and considerate. The only downside is some of the providers went to concierge medicine, however they have still found a way to accommodate me. I now enjoy my visits with Lizzy as she is caring and thorough.

Negative experience: I went 3 months ago, because I was referred by a friend. I was told by the DR they would call my blood work in to quest so I can go give blood. Never happened. I’ve called 5 separate times and have been promised each time they would send it to quest. It’s never been sent. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE. THEYRE VERY QUICK TO BILL YOUR INSURANCE BUT NOT CALL IN WHAT YOU ACTUALLY NEED TO CHECK YOUR HEALTH. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM.

Negative experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Moreaes for nearly a year. He is an awful doctor. His bedside manner is non-existent. He only cares about charging your insurance and getting commissions from the supplements he sells. Extremely low quality doctor. The office staff are rude and unprofessional and wait times are long. His PA, Liz, is 1,000 times more personable and competent than him.

Fantastic experience: My wife & I (both in sixties) use Dr. Moraes. We especially like his PA, Dianna. We can make an emergency appointment, and see her same day! They take lots of notes, remember who you are.

Negative experience: I was a patient of Dr. Moraes for a couple of years. Up until he diagnosed me with thyroid issues. I was given medication that made me gain 30+ lbs so I went and seek out a second opinion only to find out I do not have the health issues I was taking medications for. A year in a half later I am in receipt of a $2500 laboratory bill that took place according to this bill over a year ago! I’ve had many lab work done with this doctors office and it was always covered by my insurance but now the same insurance company is saying these charges is out of network and therefore the same insurance would not cover it! This is not cool!!

Negative experience: I never get a return call from the staff when they say they will. I leave message after message. The staff is slow and unreliable.

Negative experience: Dr, Morales is a good Dr. but the office is run so poorly that I actually get anxiety when I’m there! No one talks to you after you check in & the waiting time is really unacceptable!! Last visit I waited 2 hrs.! Worst of all is his P.A. Orealis Rodriguez! She gave me her cell # to call with any questions or problems & after 6 calls & 4 texts,,, still waiting!! She charged me for meds that were delivered to a different person AT A DIFFERENT ADDRESS, left the meds @ the door & sent me the delivery slip by text with the wrong name & address!!! She’s soooo incompetent! When I called the office for a full refund she still didn’t contact me!! WOE! What a danger to a patients health!! Don’t go there! I want my refund since insutprance doesn’t cover her,, wonder why!!?
