Fantastic experience: I reached the point in my life where I had to make a lifestyle change or my health was going to plummet and I decided to make a change. I was researching a lot of different programs and came across Profile and felt that it would be the best fit for me. I'm really glad that I did. I joined in March of 2022 and, as of this review, I'm already down 55 pounds (my starting weight was 468). This is my experience with Profile: First, with the membership you have a health coach to help you and you have access to the Profile App. You can also message for help any time if you are struggling or need encouragement. My health coach, Fred, is out of Aberdeen and we meet weekly, usually over Zoom, but sometimes over the phone if I'm on the road or can't get online. When we meet, we talk about my week and any struggles I've been having. There are educational materials that Profile provides and sometimes we go through those, but there are times too where, especially those weeks where I've struggled, we just talk. This is something that I felt has been really great. I feel like Fred hears what I'm saying. He doesn't just talk at me. And, he's given me a lot of great things to think about that have helped ("when you feel out of control, control the things you can - you can control what you eat"). He is really positive and friendly and supportive. He is willing to tell me like it is when I need to hear that too. I really enjoy talking with him. With Profile I do order the profile plan shakes and bars. I've found the ones that I really like (Vanilla and Strawberry in the morning, Banana cream pie or chocolate throughout the day, H2 energy throughout the day) and I usually buy the variety pack of the bars as I like them all. On my plan I start the morning with a shake, then have a bar mid-morning, I have a salad for lunch and a shake, Mid-afternoon I have a bar, I make my own supper (they provide a list of foods that are good for the nutrition plan), and then have a shake before going to bed. I've found that for me, I like the routine of it. Before starting profile, my wife and I added up our expenses on fast food and eating out and we found that we spent much more eating out than we do on Profile products, so, financially speaking, for us it wasn't a hard switch. For me, this has been a really great experience that I plan to continue. One thing that I've really appreciated is that this isn't just a weight loss plan, it's about changing your lifestyle and the way you think about food to help you in the long term. As you go through the program, it will change to be less product and more making nutritious choices. To me this is a big difference from some of the programs I've tried that were more product focused. If you are looking to make a change, I think that you would benefit from Profile. We've been to several different stores (Bismarck, Aberdeen, Fargo, Minneapolis) and have not had a bad experience yet with any of the representatives. Everyone has been welcoming, positive, and build that sense that you can do this.
