Fantastic experience: Dr. Marite is truly amazing! She treats me and both of my children. We’ve been seeing her since my oldest was 8 months old, for bowel issues that continued into potty training years. Dr. Marite never gave up on trying to figure out the cause of these issues. My son now has regular BM’s and is healing! She listens and cares deeply for her patients. We love her and are dreading the day that she retires because she will truly be missed by us!

Fantastic experience: Suffered from multiple herniated discs in lower back for over 5 years with major flare ups in the last 2. Saw multiple specialists (Surgeons, PT, lumbar steroid injections with a physiatrist) including another Chiropractor before finding this clinic. Nothing seemed to get me “over the hump” and in just over a month of care have had 70-80% improvement and can finally start returning to normal activities. Definitely recommend anyone who has even suffering from lower back/SI pain to give them a shot. Has worked wonders for me!

After seeing a gastroenterologist and being told i needed two invasive diagnostic treatments to determine the cause of my symptoms, in 1/2 an hour dr. Marite discovered and treated the root cause and i feel great! Run dont walk to see her if u want data quickly unavailable by other means..plus the healings!

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient here for almost 10 years - highly recommended! I recently experienced sharp TMJ pain and was getting worried since it was constant pain for months. I started looking into surgeons but before I made the call to see one, I called the clinic to schedule me in. The pain went away after just a couple days of seeing them! I am now a Chicago resident making my way out to see them!

Negative experience: Tried to become a patient but this practice only accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield, and says my initial exam will be $270 and every visit after can be $45 - $90. Very Pricey

Fantastic experience: These doctors are fabulous...They can fix almost anything wrong with you. They are experienced at SOT, CRA, TBM, ENT. They even fixed my lactose intolerance and I haven't had a problem with it since 2001. These are the best chiropractors in town!

Fantastic experience: I am so thankful to have found the Grothman Clinic and their amazing staff. I have been going to the clinic for over a year now and am so touched by their caring attitude. When you are there they really focus on you and try their utmost to help in any way that they can. 7 months ago I asked them to concentrate on my ankles as I was at the point where I had to limp everywhere and walking was excruciatingly painful. I found it hard to get through my day at work and couldn't enjoy going anywhere due to the pain. I was also struggling with my weight which was a contributing factor to my ankle pain. At Grothman Clinic they got me on board with Life Coaching and I changed the way I eat and I went for adjustments twice a week. I am making progress! Just this morning I took a 20 minute walk and I did it without limping. I have lost 40 pounds and gone down 2 sizes in clothing. I feel so much better and am so encouraged to keep going with my healthier lifestyle. It can be done!

Fantastic experience: Chiropractic care has 100% changed our life!! We have pretty much replaced all other doctors with this one. You see it's so much more than "chiropractic" as youd think of it. I've been to chiropractors before where you walk in and get the same adjustment every time... your basically a number. Grothman clinic is truly a gem. We have found healing like I can hardly put into words! It blows my mind how it works and sometimes when I recommend it or tell people about it they look at me like I have 5 heads. I am so grateful to my friend who recommended we go here over a year ago when our oldest had unexplained horrible stomach pain. We walked in with her crying and moaning in pain to her skipping out and laughing after treatment number one!!! That's not to say every case is an easy or quick fix but boy it beats other options in my opinion!! I have 100% belief in all these doctors and we chose to go here before anywhere else!! Fantastic experience: My wife and I brought our child from over 2 hours away to see the Grothman family. We are both chiropractors, and had noticed some evidence of neurological tension in our 10 month old that was not releasing with work we were doing. After contacting some of the top pediatric chiropractors in the country, we were referred to the Grothman Clinic for their SOT chiropractic expertise. Within 4 weeks, we noticed the evidence of neurological tension release, and we also noticed a significant increase in the pace our son was achieving his developmental milestones.

Fantastic experience: I was 38 weeks pregnant, my baby had breech, and was told by my doctor that I would have to have a C section. Against all odds, and after only 2 sessions with Dr Marite and Dr Alexander, my baby turned and I was able to avoid a dreaded C section! I've been going to Grothman Clinic for over three years and all 3 doctors (Mark, Marite and Alexander) have been doing a great job at keeping me, my husband and my two babies healthy. The list of issues that they've helped us with over the years ranges from allergies, eye pressure control for Glaucoma, vertigo, chronic shoulder pain, car accident related injuries, and most recently started treating my toddler son for stuttering --who by the way has already shown tremendous improvement. I can't thank them enough for the work that they do. They genuinely care for their patients and their well-being. I don't know what I would do without them.

Fantastic experience: They are specialists in Contact Reflex Analysis (CRA) and Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT). Their treatments are gentle but very effective. They listen very carefully to their patients and adjust appropriately, each treatment/adjustment is tailored for each individual. I very happy that I've met them and receiving excellent treatment.

Fantastic experience: There truly isn't enough positive words to describe how much Dr. Marite and Dr. Mark Grothman (and their son Dr. Alex) have done to heal me and my five kids in just 6 short months. Thanks to Dr. Marite, I have all but stopped feeling back pain from an injury 20+ years ago. She has helped my 13 year old daughter get off ALL neuro medications she was prescribed for debilitating migraines! After 3+ years, my child is now headache free! She also fixed a painful hip issue on my daughter that no Ortho could identify and fix. My 2 young sons have seen her multiple times for sports injuries and always look forward to each visit due to Dr. Marite's kind and thorough bedside manner. Fantastic experience: I had never been to a Chiropractor before; nor have I ever had any back problems or concerns which is why I thought people sought the care or expertise of a Chiropractor. Fantastic experience: Back in January 2014, I was experiencing some tightness in my neck. I went to see my doctor and had many tests done over the next several months. Everything came back negative but the tightness was not going away. It got to the point to where I could barely turn my head and the pain was going through my back. A family friend suggested Grotham Chiropractic as Dr. Mark and Dr. Marite had helped her in the past. I went to go see them in August 2014. Today, I am feeling so much better. They pinpoint the source of pain and give treatments to help resolve the issue. The staff is very courteous and helpful. They make themselves available at all times, even weekends. Fantastic experience: I began treatment here in November of 2013 and have truly enjoyed every visit. This is the first I have gone to a chiropractor and even though I was a bit nervous going into it, they have made it an enjoyable experience. Fantastic experience: I have been going to the Grothman Clinic since i was 9 years old and over the years they have time and time again have helped me to remain in tip top shape through my life. On three specific occasions i can think of where I was in really bad shape and Grothman"s fixed me up, first when i was 16 i got into a car accident and really screwed up my neck and back and within a few weeks i was feeling right as rain. The Second time ill mention i was 18 and had been dealing with a really bad set of ear infections both inner and outer ear on both sides to the point of having blood running out of my ears, I had gone to the doctor and had for over a month been on every super drug they could throw at me and nothing worked they were suggesting surgery. I came to the Grothmans and was able to meet Dr. Versendaal who through examination suggested i take a vitamin supplement within 2 days the bleeding and pain stopped and 5 days later all symptoms were gone. Thirdly at the age of 22 having worked construction for a few years I pulled a muscle in my back and again went to Grothmans and within a week and had me feeling on top again. Fantastic experience: I first entered the Grothman Clinic on October 16th of 2013 complaining about soreness and stiffness in my neck. After only one month of treatment, my neck is much improved with greater flexibility and little or no pain. I over-exerted myself back in May of 2013; however, four and one-half (4 & 1/2) months of time (which is supposed to heal all wounds) did not heal the right side of my neck. Self-administered heating pad treatments did little good as well. The Chiropractors at the Grothman Clinic in Aurora, Illinois are highly experienced, and I noticed improvement in the flexibility and comfort level of my neck after only a few treatments. After one month of treatments, I would highly recommend the Grothman Clinic to anyone suffering from neck and/or back stiffness or discomfort. The Grothmans have been helping folks feel better since 1984, and their family's dedication to the Chiropractic science is exceptional. They are a husband and wife team, and their son should be joining them soon once he graduates from advanced training.

Fantastic experience: I became acquainted with the Grothman Clinic when I began having problems walking. I had been going to one of those “chain” Chiropractic groups that caused the problem. I was in so much pain that I couldn’t put weight on my right leg nor could I even put so much as a sheet over it when I was sleeping because the nerve endings felt like they were on fire. I was in misery. I had to take a leave of absence because I couldn’t go back to work and didn’t know what to do. My niece asked me to at least try the Grothman Clinic. She said they were very knowledgeable and they believed in the natural approach to health and wellness. I was the perfect candidate to have this proven. I can tell you, they sure proved it! Fantastic experience: After 20 years of chronic back pain and visits to many different chiropractors with no success whatsoever, I finally found the Grothman Clinic. Their gentle methods finally gave me relief from pain I had searched for. They also encouraged me to eat healthy and avoid certain foods that were the cause of my chronic Sinus infections and colds. Fantastic experience: I thought they treated my wife very well. She is still continuing her treatment from a car accident and is making progress with her back and chest and neck.. My wife has very serious injuries from this car accident and will likely have permanent damage to her neck and back as a result. Without the Grothman clinics services supplementing hospital and her primary providers care things would be far worse. She still has a long road back.
