Fantastic experience: Dr Pence and his staff are absolutely amazing! I started going for what felt like a pinch nerve in my shoulder which was actually in my neck. Pain is gone along with dullness pain and lack of ROM. No popping or cracking for me (scares me) and thankfully this is not done here. Dr Pence is VERY informative, listens to your problems, and is quick to find a resolution. Any other facility would offer medication and send you down the road, not here… they actually care and want to find the problem.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Pence, Kathy, the whole team are a God send. They are kind, knowledgeable, and professional people. I appreciate how they look at you as a whole person, find the areas and systems of your body that are out of balance and use non-invasive effective therapeutic techniques to create healing. It's pretty remarkable. I am drastically in less pain, greater range of motion in my neck, better sleep, and headaches 75% reduced from their help and expertise. I was injured in a rear-ended collision and could no longer ignore my pain. I didn't want to take muscle relaxers to just dull the real alignment issues. This is a unique, and specific chiropractic approach, I am so grateful for them!

Fantastic experience: I began seeing Dr Pence for low back/hip pain. Ive had as needed manipulation elsewhere which worked at the time but pain would always come back or I would reinjure easily. I found this office via google search and chose it out of convenience to work. This has been a very educational and supportive experience! Not only did Dr Pence relieve my severe pain, he has begun to stabilize my body and strengthen it to help prevent future issues! His practice is awesome but wouldnt be as complete without his genuinely sweet and talented staff. One has amazingly strong healing hands, and is great on instructing me in my core strengthening. And the other is so helpful and considerate of my budget and how insurance worked. So knowledgeable and considerate! This truly is the whole package deal for great service and support for whole body healing and health. I am so grateful for them!

Fantastic experience: Not only has Dr. Pence helped with my upper back pain, he has also helped me with my gut issues. I would have never made the correlation between my diet and how my body was feeling without his help. He is a wonderful doctor and genuinely cares about his patients and their well-being!

Fantastic experience: Doctor Pence is a prime example of what a healthcare professional should be. He not only takes time with his patients but he genuinely cares about each and every one. ***UPDATE*** Turns out, he's not so professional and neither are his staff. They purchase vitamins and supplements from out of the country illegally, then get mad if you find them cheaper than 32$ a bottle.

For those of us that have tried to heal ourselves the conventional way and are allergic to most medications, and had no luck, this is the place for you! Everyone is so helpful and makes you feel confident using a holistic approach to finally getting better. I’ve had extremely painful,busted open and cracked hands most of my life. Had a physical adjustment but also a nutritional adjustment for my thyroid and a cold laser treatment. No pain!!!! I can certainly tell a difference in the nutritional along with the physical.

Fantastic experience: I came into this ofc thinking I was ready to have MRI of my knees and hip.. I have left shoulder pain that is recurring. I no longer have the pain in my knees or hip. Dr. Pence always seem to find areas I never knew hurting and gives me relief.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Dr. Pence for about 3 years on and off. I have to admit, at first I was unsure about his approach, as I have been seeing Chiropractors for some time due to having been in several accidents, and his was very different. However, he has proven to be most accurate in his analysis regarding my physical and nutritional needs. I realize that he is a Nutritionist as well as a Chiropractor, but my initial visit was for Chiropractic work. I'm 68 years old, am very active and have many physical chores which sometimes cause old problems to resurface. I do have a healthy diet and do exercise which I believe helps recovery from injuries. About 2 years ago, I was feeling very tired, worn down, not sleeping, gaining weight and he found that my thyroid was not functioning properly. He prescribed a supplement which worked wonders. Although my symptoms seem to be seasonal, the supplement always helps. Every my doctor was impressed. Most recently, I had an accident while horseback riding which caused much pain and discomfort in my back, hips and legs. After several visits and some good stretching exercises, I'm finally able to throw my leg over the saddle again. His staff is wonderful, very warm and friendly and his office is very peaceful and comfortable. I would recommend Dr. Pence to anyone in need of nutritional guidance and/or chiropractic work.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Pence is fantastic!! Gets down to the root of the problem, and fixes it! I like the homeopathic route of treatment as opposed to other routes of treatment. The office staff, Alley and Ms. Peggy are very friendly also. I don’t live in town anymore so I don’t see him regularly like I used to, but I always make an appointment when I’m in town for a visit.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Pence has been a life saver on so many different things. I have horrible arthritis in my lower back and hips. I also have trigeminal neurologia. It’s one of the most excruciating things I have experienced and that’s saying something! I struggle with many different issues and in one way or another Doctor Pence has done something to help them all. I can drive for longer than 20 minutes without feeling like I just can’t support my arms through my back anymore. I have been going on three months free of lower back pain! That in itself has been a huge relief for me! His staff are always so friendly and helpful! The office atmosphere is so welcoming! I could go on and on but I will tell you my absolute favorite thing about Doctor Pence is, you don’t have to tell him where the pain is and he will find the exact spot your hurting in without having to say anything. If you put in the work with Dr Pence you will see results!

Fantastic experience: Eight years ago, I was in a horrible motor vehicle accident that left my left shoulder shattered. After three surgeries within 13 months of each other, physical therapy, addicting pain killers prescribed by medical doctors, I came to Dr. Pence in August of 2019. After ONE SINGLE VISIT, my range of motion in my left arm was unlike anything I had been able to do since my wreck. Not only that, Dr. Pence continues to give great, quality maintenance on my body with his chiropractic care. I 110% recommend him and his staff to anyone needed a solution to their problems (that isn't prescription drugs). Fantastic experience: Dr. Pence helped me stay aligned through my pregnancy which aided my recovery after delivery as well. He recommended a product to help my c-section scar to stretch without pulling, it’s is also a huge help after yet another c-section as my new scar heals it is doing so with less pain and lighter scarring. He really takes care of each person that comes through his door and I’m even going to start taking my little kids to him to make sure they are well aligned. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been receiving chiropractic care elsewhere for years. Dr. Pence helped me learn about the extent to which my body’s systems are codependent upon each other. For example: a chronic pain below the scapula and in the feet was a buildup of heavy metals, he helped me detox from that buildup and my back and feet healed. Another example, I threw my back out with heavy lifting and it wasn’t healing even after a week of adjustment; so he identified my thyroid’s weakness, offered some nutritional support for the thyroid, and my damaged back muscles started healing the same day.

Fantastic experience: I've been using Dr. Pence for a decade or so. I used to use Osteopathic Manipulation for pain and discomfort. I got tired of waiting for hours (even with an appointment to see a provider). Heard about Pence and switched to his Chiropractic care. Wait time usually 10 minutes. I find adjustments last longer and I am mostly pain free with Yoga and adjustments as needed. I am a home birth midwife and I have referred midwifery clients for various issues. For most women, it has resolved their complaints. Chiropractic care in pregnancy is recommended so your baby can be in the best position for birth.

Fantastic experience: Without Dr Pence I would have a very poor quality of life. His adjustments help immensely. His nutritional supplements have helped improve my bloodwork and helped me get off many pharmaceutical products that had horrible side effects. Hes not the run-of-the-mill chiropractor. His combination of chiropractic and nutritional therapy is highly effective. If you pass him up it will definitely be your loss. I read a bad review on here and laughed. Drs prescribe pharmaceutical drugs to patients with little to no understanding of their short term or long term side effects......no one blinks an eye. Dr Pence recommends a perfectly safe supplement and she labels him a pill pusher lol. How small minded, uninformed and petty to say the least.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Greenbrier Chiropractic Center for several years. I went with back issues which was causing pain to radiate down my legs. I had an appointment with a surgeon for back surgery. I decided to try to get help at the Chiropractic Center before my appointment. My appointment was two months away. I went three times a week for adjustments. By the time of my appointment, which I did keep, I had improvement in my pain. The surgeon said that I did the right thing by seeking Chiropractic help. He said that back surgery only helps 50% of the time. This has been several years ago. I continue to go for monthly adjustments. I have had some minor issues which have been handled at the Chiropractic Center. Dr. Pence and his staff have always been very professional and helpful in scheduling appointments. I would highly recommend The Greenbrier Chiropractic Center!

Negative experience: Would agree with the other 1 star ratings. I am a medical professional and I am wondering how this man was ever credentialed with insurances. I felt the only thing he was interested as well was selling me supplements. His tool he uses to "adjust" did nothing to help my pain.
