Negative experience: My husband scheduled a tentative appointment for me as a thoughtful surprise. When I called to discuss an appointment time I was told to take my business elsewhere. He literally said it was a bad omen that I was not in control of my schedule. What a strange experience.

Fantastic experience: I've had recurring neck and back issues for many years, and I have tried multiple chiropractors and I feel most of them just wanted to get me in and out as quick as possible and never really tried diagnosing the issues. After one visit with Dr. Cross, I knew that he would be different. He spent nearly an hour with me on that first visit diagnosing and working on the problems. I felt much better after just one visit. My pain lessened with each subsequent visit. Dr. Cross is knowledgeable and takes the time to do things right. I am glad I found him. He is my "go-to" guy now!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cross provides custom personalized chiropractic care to his patients. You get one-on-one time for each of your treatment appointments. I have been seeing Dr. Cross for a pinched nerve in my neck and lower back/hip pain for a few months and no longer experience the pain associated with my injuries and no longer have to sleep with ice packs! Fantastic experience: I have seen many chiropractors across many states and NOT ONE compares to Dr cross when it comes to knowledge and skill. I was involved in a very significant rollover accident (rolled 12x) and he got me back to normal-something I wasn’t expecting after the severity of the accident. He runs on time every time so you are never waiting for your appointment beyond the scheduled time, and he explains what he’s doing and what the plan is. He helped me through my pregnancy, adjusted my newborn, and has also seen my husband and two other children of ours after the accident. He is a hidden gem out here and our family will be very sad when he retires. Hopefully he never does

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cross provides efficient and cost-effective treatment. He is the first provider I've had that has been able to eliminate neck pain that had been present for over 20 years. No one else I have been to has been able to provide any relief. I drive nearly an hour for appointments, and would be willing to drive twice that without hesitation. His upper cervical adjustments have been life changing.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cross is amazing! He is the 5th Chiropractor I went to and he was the one who FINALLY resolved my nearly year long back problem! The 4th doctor I went to almost resolved what was going on, but I still wasn't feeling 100%. During research for tinnitus care, which I had developed during my ongoing back issue (UHG!) I came across upper cervical /Atlas Orthogonal care as a cure. I saw that Dr. Cross was the only listed chiropractor who specialized in the Atlas / upper cervical care. I went to see him and explained my ongoing back problems, and now tinnitus, and crossed my fingers. After a few months my back problems were completely resolved after almost a year of searching for complete resolution (4 other chiropractors prior). Additionally, my tinnitus has been reduced significantly, and I expect 100% recovery there as well. So for both regular chiropractic care AND tinnitus, I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Cross. He told me one time he was "very particular" and that's the Doc I want! Thanks Dr. Cross!!

Negative experience: I called on a Saturday to see if I could get in because I am having a nerve pain in my neck. The doctor answered and asked me questions, then asked when I could be there. I told him I live 8 minutes, I can be there in 15 minutes. This was at 9:20. My GPS took me to the eye care center across the street so I ended up late and walked in at his office at 9:43. That makes me 8 minutes later than I said would be there. I walked in and said it was a journey to get there and my GPS took me across the street so I am so sorry it took longer. He immediately responds with “you said you would be here in 15 minutes, 30 something minutes ago.” I apologized once more like a genuine apology, mind you I was already frustrated because GPS took me to the wrong place. After I apologize again he raises his voice a little and rudely said “Well I have a new patient in 15 minutes, I looked at him to see if he was going to say more so he turned to reach for paperwork for me and let out a huge grunt/sign UGHHHH. I immediately felt my stomach drop because I’ve never had a person respond so rudely to something before, like I just instantly knew he did not want to adjust me at all. I responded and told him okay never mind and walked out the door. He tried yelling no no it’s okay as I walked out. I didn’t feel comfortable with him touching my back at this point because he was upset, rude and clearly didn’t have my pains best interest at heart. For all I knew he could hurt me even worse. When I got into my car I just started crying because of how painful this is and how he was no help to me at all.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cross is an expert and very professional. He treats you gently and does his best to improve your health. His recommendations and chiropractic therapy have had the effect of improving my life, I have suffered from low back pain for many years. Don’t hesitate to schedule an appointment with him!

Fantastic experience: I have had gait issues for some time, which made it difficult to walk more than a short distance. My pelvis and sacrum were always crooked and it seemed to be a never ending issue that required constant chiropractic adjustments to function. Dr Cross gave me some exercises to do to strengthen certain muscles. Rather than requiring appt after appt, he got to the root of the problem. What a relief! Thank you, Dr. Cross!

Fantastic experience: For 9 years I believed I had Meniere's disease and experienced vertigo and deafness on a daily basis. After finding info online about people with a dislocated Atlas having these same symptoms resulting from car accident whiplash, I made an appointment with Dr. Cross. X-rays showed a misaligned atlas. 2 months later using the Atlas orthogonal procedure, Dr. Cross has made my vertigo disappear completely along with my Tinnitus and my hearing came back 100 percent! Having moved to Tucson recently, I looked for a chiropractor experienced in atlas orthogonal adjustments and found Dr. Cross. He is highly experienced - his diagnosis is precise and relies on x-rays for the initial targeted adjustment. There is no guesswork in his treatment plan and he explains his plan - which gave immediate relief from day one! He doesn't overwork the area - instead, he prefers to get to know how the patient's body responds to treatment and adjust (no pun intended) from there. Speaking of puns, he uses them well - he has a great sense of humor! I highly recommend Dr. Cross for quality chiropractic care. :+)

Dr. Cross got him in the very next morning and after examination found he had a misplaced rib! Fantastic experience: I met Dr Cross in 2019 after suffering from sciatica, I had gone to another place which I will not name and they only completed an assessment to basically tell me that I was suffering from sciatica, which I already knew. I walked out of that place in tears, I searched for other places in the area and Dr Cross name came up I called him because I was in tears the pain was so bad and he saw me within half an hour. I arrived and the rest was history Dr Cross worked his magic and I never felt sciatica pain on the right side again, however now I have it in the left side, so I have began to see Dr cross again and when I began seeing him recently my sciatic pain was at a 10 it’s now at a 1 or less, I highly recommend Dr Cross for all and any chiropractic needs.

Fantastic experience: I am in Tucson from Texas and have been in pain for some years now. Thought I had nerve damage, he tested and was able to confirm I did not. And just with first visit relieved me of most of my shoulder and numbness to right hand pain. I have tried acupuncture, and other treatments that did not work. I don’t know why I waited so long!! He has great bedside manner, friendly and walks you through the process.

Fantastic experience: If you have neurological issues (headaches, migraines, vertigo, dizziness, tinnitus, etc.) that still can't be explained after visiting doctor after doctor after doctor, your atlas very well be be out of alignment! Especially if you've ever had whiplash, a concussion or neck trauma. Very few chiropractors in the U.S. have specialized training in upper cervical care, and Tucson has one in Dr. Cross! I spent months seeing many doctors trying to figure out the cause of my symptoms, and after seeing Dr. Cross for a series of adjustments, they have gone away almost 100%. He is very flexible, works with your schedule to get you in as often as possible, and has late office hours 3 days a week (which I've found to be very rare). Stop seeing endless medical doctors who can't figure out what's wrong with you, and call Dr. Cross!

Fantastic experience: Im travelling and developed severe back pain. Dr Cross asked some questions, poked and prodded and narrowed it down to neck, shoulder blade and a couple of ribs out of place. A push and a hammer here, a crack and a pop there and the pain is dramatically reduced and should continue to improve. Got in on short notice and visit was VERY reasonably priced. Fantastic experience: I had been living with muscle pain in my jaw/neck for nearly 2 years. I had tried going to physician and dentist. It was not related to either of them. Tried alternative treatments of acupuncture and massage with no relief. My brother had been going to Dr Cross for 5+ years so I made appointment. He had great office hours to make it easy to get in. Fantastic experience: I began seeing Alan Cross shortly after my car accident. I was unable to enjoy quality of life due to my lower back and wrist pain. I appreciated that he had me get an x-ray before beginning to do any work on me, to identify my chiropractic needs. I saw him three times a week to start, and my pain significantly decreased. He adjusted my sacrum and wrists. I was amazed at how quickly my pain dissipated. Each time I saw him, he used a different healing modality. I received treatment by an electric inversion recliner which stretched my spine and also provided a soothing massage, a hydro bed, patches which administered a low electric current around the affected areas and a plate that I stood on which vibrates at a high frequency to loosen up my back. He is considerate and respectful. He is very knowledgeable concerning body mechanics and anatomy. I would highly recommend working with Alan for any chronic or lingering pain. You won't regret it!

Having accumulated a lot of spine and also nerve issues, I was feeling skittish about who to see; I couldn't quite find the person I felt comfortable with. I had a feeling when I met Dr. Cross that I'd found the right chiropractor for me, and I was so right. Fantastic experience: I have been diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis for about 2 years. Been to Neurologists, Orthopaedics, Hospitals, Urgent Cares numbers of time. It's been an awful painful experience and unfortunately they are quick to prescribe meds etc nothing worked but my symptons became so bad I was not able to work. Its broken me down mentally and affected me emotionally with anxiety and stress beyond. Doctor Cross is a blessing and within my evaluation he found the issue and was able to give me HOPE! My pain was from 7 to 10 24/7 and its been an up and down rollercoaster. I have had 2 treatments and he has gave me relieve and I HIGHLY recommend him 100%. Fantastic experience: Prior to seeing Dr Cross I was seeing a different chiropractor more and more frequently until I was going twice a week for back and neck issues. Fantastic experience: I could barely walk when I went to Dr. Cross. My hip had tilted and my sacrum was twisted. I was in pain. In the first visit he got everything back in place. I am back to normal again and able to move without pain. He is an awesome Chiropractor and I like the more personal chiropractic office than those big commercialized ones. Much more personal. I highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I could barely stand up or walk when I visited Dr. Cross after twisting my back. Dr. Cross did very thorough and careful check to locate the problem and made adjustments afterwards. And... it is incredible!! I can walk with a bit more motion and less pain. My husband and I have been seeing him for various issues over the past few years. He will only treat you if you are having issues and he doesn’t set up appointments that aren’t necessary for your healing. I highly recommend him for the atlas orthogonal treatment as well as all chiropractic care. Dr. Cross is very personable, patient and does not hurry you out the door. He is genuine. Additonally, the wait times are short to non-existent and you can make appointments to be seen usually within 1-2 days.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Alan Cross, Atlas Orthogonist Chiropractor did more for me in one month of treatment than any other medical professional I have seen over the past five years. That is not an exaggeration. I had severe pain in my neck accompanied by continuous pressure in my head, nausea, and headaches. I would often take Dramamine, pain medication, and muscle relaxers, and I would still have to lie down by the late afternoon. I have seen two surgeons, and 3 pain doctors. The pain doctors wanted to do a RFA (radio frequency ablation) and also suggested an epidural. RFA’s are very invasive and “burn” the nerve in your neck. I was determined to find a less invasive solution, but almost gave up until a friend told me to try an Atlas Orthogonist. I have been seeing a chiropractor for 3 years, but it was always a band-aid, and I would find myself back 2 sometimes 3 times in one week. I had nothing to lose, so I gathered my energy to try one last thing before I gave in to an epidural. He sends you for an x-ray, which in my condition was not easy to do, but I followed through, and I’m so happy I did. I honestly have been experiencing the first weeks in a very long time with very little to no pain and no nauseous. The pressure in my head is gone. After 3 years of experiencing pain that interfered with my daily activities on some level every day, I have hope. I can actually go to the grocery store without running home to lie down. I am slowly finding my new normal which doesn’t involve simply getting through the day. It has been life changing for me. I am so grateful for Doctor Cross. Fantastic experience: The pain was intense, could not hold my head up let alone open my eyes, could not get out of a chair without help, I believed my body was dying. Called my son for help (my son is chiropractor in WA state) he searched information for the type of doctor my body needed. My son found Dr. Alan Cross. His wait times are consistentantly less than 5 minutes and appointments can be as short as 15/20 minutes if you need them to be. He will work with your schedule to get you in. You can tell he is a man that thoroughly enjoys his work and helping his patients feel better. He does such a fantastic job!! He knows what hurts by feeling my spine before I even have to say a word. My neck and back were injured in a car accident a 8 months ago and I have seen my share of chiropractors during this time. There was always one spot in my mid/low back that no masseuse or chiropractor could ever get. It was excruciating and kept me from ever getting a good night's sleep. But everything changed once I started seeing Dr Cross. Now I have full range of motion in my neck and I sleep soundly because I'm not waking to adjust my pillows because of the pain. Many chiropractors simply adjust your spine and don't pay special attention to the underlying causes and the the SPECIFIC areas of pain. I saw one Chiropractor in particular that adjusted my toddler the same way he adjusted me, and people 20, 30, 40 years older than me. There was no specialized care. Dr Cross is the opposite. He pays attention to all the small details. I can say that I've never had better medical care. My daughter is one and a half now, but she was less than a year during the time of the car accident. She was safely secured in her car seat and we went to the hospital and followed up with her pediatrician immediately after the crash. The doctors said that she checked out to be fine. She wasn't. As a couple months passed her balance seemed to be very off for a child that always had steady feet. She would point to her neck or head and whine. I didn't know what was going on but decided that maybe chiropractic work would do her some good. Dr Cross found that her neck was misaligned and told me that the exact spot she was having problems with also could contribute to her balance issue. Now my little girl can run, jump and play like any other little girl her age and I couldn't be more thankful. I can't help but think that if I had never gone to see Dr Cross that maybe this car accident would have changed the way my daughter will live her life in the future. Both of our lives have been deeply impacted by this man and his work. He is such a blessing. Words cannot describe how grateful I am that I chose Dr Cross. I hope you do as well. :)

Fantastic experience: I have known Dr. Cross for many years and he is absolutely the best chiropractor because he does not stop at chiropractic medicine... he integrates everything he knows and he is a continuous learner. He has taught me exercises to strengthen the areas where I was weak when reduced the frequency of visits to see him, and greatly contributed to my wellness today.More than once he shared a suspicion about a particular ailment - not diagnosing but discussing - which I was later able to confirm... things my primary care and internist could not figure out....He is a wealth of knowledge, thorough in his work, and he has been known to see a patient at a moments notice when they are in pain. Hats off to Dr Cross.

Fantastic experience: I had a pinched nerve in my neck. It was so bad my hands went numb. I called Alan Cross and he got me in immediately. It only took one session and I was as good as new. He was not only very knowledgeable, his prices are affordable. I would not go anywhere else now.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been going to Dr. Cross for a number of years. He has help me with migraines as well as shoulder pain and occasional sciatica. He has good judgement and knows what he is and isn't capable of fixing with an adjustment.
