Fantastic experience: My whole family has been seeing Micah for a while now and we love his practice so much. He has adjusted both my son's since they were under 1 yrs old. Today my youngest, who is now 7, had a very quick and painful neck pain. We both were able to be seen within the next hour, myself having my own things needing attention. Micah helps explain what the problems are, and it's so relieving for us when we leave to feel included in the visit. We both left feeling so much better! I was feeling like Micah was a magician with our experience. Fantastic experience: I had the wrong kind of neck curvature from sleeping on my stomach when I was a child through my late twenties. It caused me quite a lot of neck pain for years. Dr. Ries diagnosed my condition, and through regular treatment, reduced the pain significantly. Eventually I was able to adjust my sleep position and now have no regular neck pain. A huge relief. Negative experience: Don't trust them; scam alert! I called to inquire about my insurance coverage on the 8th of that month. I was asked to email a copy of my insurance card to their business email by the female receptionist, and I did so while still conversing with her on the phone. She received the email and told me she put it through the system to check my coverage and that they are in network; that I get 20 visits each year with a $15.00 copay per visit and asked if I would like to make an appointment while on the phone. I made the appointment for the 22nd of that month. I arrived 15 minutes early and stepped through the entryway into a tiny, crowded waiting space of around 5 chairs in the shape of a 'U'; very close. I approach the receptionist desk to check-in and inform her that I would like to pay my copay beforehand, and she requests my insurance card to be put through the system again to check coverage. I say, "Again? Okay. Here you go," and I hand my insurance card to her and wait for the card back. She appears troubled and asks me to please sit down until she gets it through. Meanwhile, she helps multiple different people check in as well as depart. Where I was sitting was behind the open front door, where she couldn't see me in this tiny waiting space, so when the seat in her view emptied where she'd be able to see me, I moved to that seat. She spoke to me and told me that they do not take my insurance. I told her that's not what I was told when I made this appointment. She said she's sorry and that I'd have to pay out of pocket. I told her to cancel my appointment then. She seemed shocked, and then I left. Pretty sketchy if you ask me.

Fantastic experience: I could not be more pleased and excited about my experience with Ries Chiropractic. Yesterday I barely walked into his office due to the amount of pain I was in. I was greeted by super friendly staff and felt comfortable right away. 20 minutes later I walked out feeling so much better. Within hours the pain was completely gone. I look forward to continuing my experience here with other services offered in this office.

Fantastic experience: 12 weeks ago I broke my fibula and tibia... and I have bypassed all expectations from the medical doctors to be crutch and walking boot FREE in just SEVEN weeks. I give all the credit to Dr. Micah's care. Micah has gone above and beyond any of the other care I have received since my accident. From sitting down to show me my CT scans and x-rays, providing quality whole food supplements for healing, adjustments for my entire body which endured the trauma from break and surgery, and use of the PULSE machine to help bone regeneration. Not to mention Micah's positive outlook and encouragement throughout this entire process was a game changer. I could not have worked on my healing without his support, which is why I always recommend him as a healer. We are very fortunate to have a caring and compassionate professional like Micah here on the coast. Fantastic experience: From day one I appreciated Dr Micah's gentle and extremely knowledgeable way of working with me-and my injuries. Dr. Liz has been a wonderful addition to the staff (especially for female issues) and I have experienced incredible results working with both Doctors. It's a joy to be greeted by Esther each appointment; she is always friendly and extremely helpful as the new office manager. I highly recommend Ries Chiropractic for an all-around treatment from muscle tension to hormone balancing... AND I absolutely couldn't do without the 20 min. Brain-Tapping meditations after each treatment, which have helped me to relax and handle stress so much better! ❤️

It's been such a privilege to get an adjustment while learning about my body and also getting nutrition and supplement consulting. My condition has improved significantly over the last few years of being Dr. Ries' patient. He has helped me see that there is hope, when I was feeling hopeless.

Negative experience: I was seen by Liz. After apx two weeks, with appointments every other day, I felt little relief. At one point my lower back seemed better but after that day's appointment, it was back to a pain & lack of mobility level like we started with. I called and made this comment on the answering machine. Of course, I was hoping I would receive a call back with some guidance, but I did not receive a call. I cancelled the next appointment. The treatment routine never changed and little progress was made after many appointments. I asked for a printout of the therapy I had received but never received it. I began to see another chiropractor who provided deep manual massage of faschial tissue, and manual adjustment. That treatment was a turning point. He actually took notes into a chart which is something Ries' office did not do. Thus, there was no record to be had for future reference. Disappointing.

Fantastic experience: AFTER "treatment" I can report disappointment. Much magical thinking and everything on the shelf reminiscent of snake oil. I was hooked up to a computer (electrodes on fingers) which "diagnosed" all my ailments. Then the (sincere) Dr. laid his hands on and declared I was "adjusted". I cancelled all future appointments. I've had chiropractic care before and this was not that!
