Fantastic experience: Really good people, and good equipment. With most Medicare one can get into every health club in town and I really like this place. If you are all about shiny people and shiny equipment and less about how that equipment works maybe not your place. With Medicare there is a program called silver sneakers which basically gets me into every health club in town and so I've been in most all of them and this place is really good.

Positive experience: The gym equipment and setup is nice but for god sakes clean the showers and lockers. They are absolutely disgusting. Would have given 5 stars of they were somewhat clean.

Negative experience: A gym for a small town. Prices are very high for visitors and monthly memberships. The free weights area has a selection of leverage and circuit cable machines. The weight plates, benches and dumbbells are a terrible mismatch of plates and dumbbells. The cardio equipment is dated club quality equipment.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of this gym on and off since the 90s and it has changed hands many times. Mostly I use the sauna. Today I brought in soft light light bulbs to replace the very bright ones in the sauna. Brandon came in right away to change them out. Everyone in the sauna remarked about the better lighting. Also, the cleaning product for the sauna was changed to a much less toxic one. Thank you~

Fantastic experience: A swimming coach, Cayden Jacobs, just worked with me in the FitEvo pool, very professional and helpful! Swimming is my main exercise and I had to stop due to pain. He showed me how to correct that. Good job, Cayden!

Positive experience: recently joined this gym, and the sign-up process was incredibly easy and straightforward. The gym offers a fantastic range of amenities for the price, including racquetball courts, a pool, hot tub, sauna, and plenty of workout equipment. It’s easily the most affordable gym in town for what you get! However, some areas could use more attention when it comes to cleanliness, especially the showers and specific rooms. I noticed some issues, but when I brought them up, the staff was responsive and willing to make improvements. With a bit more focus on cleanliness, this place would easily earn 5 stars from me!

Negative experience: TLDR: GREEDY GYM TRYING TO SQUEEZE WATER FROM A ROCK, WILL HAPPEN TO YOU IF YOUR NOT CAREFUL!!! BEWARE!!! Honestly, I never had a bad experience with these people BEFORE moving away. We are a lower income family that is currently in college. I moved far away from any location and attempted to cancel via phone call. I was advised that would not be possible and that it would have to be in person. I advised them that I currently am not able to come in person as I am a distance away. They then advised me that they were unable to help me. I stopped payments to the gym, as I was no longer utilizing there utilities or using their resources. And all was good for 2 months or so until I ended up with a bill in my mailbox for more then $120! For a gym that I haven't even utilized in months. I called the main gym here in Buffalo and they then advised me that there WAS an option to cancel all the way back then, but it had to be via email. I WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THIS UNTIL JUST NOW, after I had already asked to cancel after I moved and had been told I had to be in person. So now, after talking to the gym, this is where I am left (mind again I am a college student so literally no money) I have to pay this $120 BEFORE they will let me cancel for services im not even using, and if I don't cancel by the end of the month, it will keep on incurring monthly fees, and if not paid eventually will be sent to collections.

Fantastic experience: Went there for knee rehab about two years ago. The price was alot cheaper then now. Worked out great for my knee. Now i'm back for rehab on my own for shoulder surgery. The monthly price from new years sign up is $32 month. No mater what time my wife and myself go. They are always cleaning. Even lifting up equipment with two persons mopping and sanitizing. The staff has always been friendly greeting you coming and leaving. They have all you need to get in shape. including large swimming pool, hot tub, sauna.

Negative experience: Not impressed as my daughter who is 15 went with others and made her pay adult fees. The lady at customer service was beyond rude right from the start.

Fantastic experience: The people are so friendly and take the time to help you. The facility is clean and nice.

Fantastic experience: I've been going here since January 2022 and all in all, this gym is an excellent value for all the amenities offered. Cheapest gym in town. Racquetball courts, pool, hot tub, sauna, tanning beds, track and tons of equipment to choose from. The cleanliness has never been great. The showers are gross. The tanning bed rooms are very disgusting though. I use them regularly and see spiders in there frequently and tons of dirt and cobwebs on the walls, floor and behind the beds. If the gym starts cleaning these rooms better I'll change this to a 5 star review I promise! Update: Thank you for putting ant traps in the tanning bed rooms, listening to my concerns and implementing improvements! As promised, I updated my review to 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been apart of this gym for two years now and appreciate the equipment and kindness of staff! We recommend if you are in the area!

Fantastic experience: I am a disabled woman who has been taking the water Zumba class for well over ten years. It helps me a lot to improve my balance and basic fitness. I would recommend this class to everyone. Check it out.

Fantastic experience: This business and all the employees do such, such a great job. I couldn't imagine running a place so big, bust and full of sweaty, stinky people lol. They kill it from owners down to the part time employees. I really can't speak enough my only wish would be they had them all over. Thanks to every one I can't say enough good things.

Fantastic experience: Didn’t workout at the location, but called their main line to discuss a billing problem (wrong company, dumb me) and the woman I spoke with was a sweetheart. If I make my way out toward North Minneapolis I’ll happily be stopping by for a workout.

Fantastic experience: This place is 10x's better than the Monticello location. Also, open an hour earlier on the weekend (Sat & Sun) My only concerns are: I couldn't find a place to do ab exercises such as regular crunches and the dry sauna wasn't very hot.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Fitness Evolution. If you need to walk the track or use the many machines or workout equipment you will find this is the place to go for your exercise needs. The hours, classes, many programs and super trainers have your well being in mind.

Fantastic experience: great gym with amazing staff who are more friends than employees. always a friendly face to greet you and encourage your success.

Negative experience: This is their thermometer in the sauna because the other one is broke and doesn't read the right temp. The sauna is never as hot as a dry sauna should be. I was given a lame excuse stating it is with a photo of a thermometer reading 162.2. If it were that hot, there would be no complaint from me. But it's not, therefore, I complain.

Fantastic experience: Fitness Evolution in Buffalo is a great facility! The people are always upbeat, friendly, and helpful. The pool is awesome and the locker rooms are nice...I'm happy to be a member!

Fantastic experience: We’ve been going here for probably 6 years, we started because my medical insurance would reimburse us for going so we tried Fitness Evolution and found it very friendly, many people willing to help you and answer questions for you. You can just stop by when you want and work out or take one of their many classes or even get a personal trainer to get you in lean mean condition! Even just go to swim or play some racket ball, many options and everyone does their own thing. We highly recommend Fitness Evolution!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member since we moved here 12 years ago, my abilities have diminished over the years ( knee problems) but I am very impressed by all of the active, determined seniors and the classes for all levels of abilities.

Fantastic experience: Body pump class at Fitness Evolution keeps me pumped up both physically and mentally. The exercise, the music, the instructors and the women and men in the classes are important in keeping me healthy and in shape. I am one of the older women in my class and because I have been a participant for over 10 yrs I am in shape and can up with the rest. Like the instructors say: 3x a week Body Pump keeps us strong, thank you Fitness Evolution!!!

Fantastic experience: Always greeted with a smile. You get a lot of gym for an affordable price. Yes it gets pretty packed at times, but what gym doesn't? I think that goes to show they're doing things right.

Fantastic experience: Have been a member since 2004. There have been some ups and downs through the years but I have noticed a great improvement in the last year or so. Everything is cleaner, equipment is repaired in a timely manner and the staff is great. It would be great to have another recumbent elliptical machine and maybe a couple more recumbent bikes. It's always a hit or miss if I can get on one. My one and only complaint.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with a great staff!! Sauna, pool, weights, and track are all excellent. They are always getting new equipment and replacing any ripped seats. Staff are friendly and helpful. I've been to many gyms and there is nothing to complain about here.

Negative experience: You get what you pay for. If you don't mind a dirty and packed gym than this place is great.

Fantastic experience: Perfectly fine to me.. month to month membership, unlike anytime fitness where they make u sign up for 12 months... like another review said, if you are expecting a higher end establishment than go to lifetime fitness or some place in the cities that costs an arm and a leg.

Negative experience: Went in as to ask for a pass for July 4th weekend. My in-laws go to this gym. $10 dollars for a day and $20 for a week as a 'guest pass'. No exceptions. I'm only in town for a couple of days. As a veteran who has traveled a lot I've had no problem getting free week passes into gyms. Usually they have an intro offer anyway for prospective clients. This is the first gym that has slapped me with ridiculous fees. 10 dollars for an hour? Might as well do push ups at home. If you look at google's business hours, the hour I stopped in was 'usually quiet'. Not like I'd be stealing machines or weights from anyone. It was dead in there. Poor poor service. Thanks for turning down a veteran July 4th weekend. Classy.

Fantastic experience: Just about everything you could expect in a gym / fitness center located in Buffalo.

Positive experience: Budget Lifetime Fitness. It was always packed. Not 24/7. Facility is in rough shape, but who cares when you are getting pumped. Management was very helpful, but there wasn't enough variety in the equipment available. They have a lot of members. So, equipment availability was sparse at times. In fact, this is best managed budget gym I've attended. Facilities were really clean and I always felt welcomed. Really appreciated the variety in the free weights. I was hoping they would have more kinetic workout areas. The tires and beer kegs outside was a really cool addition this year. It was a good place to workout most of the time. Best times to go are first thing in the morning 6AM and very late at night 8-11PM. This would be a great club if they made some extensive improvements. I really see value in this location, and would come back as a member if they remodeled the club to be more inline with a Lifetime Fitness or just more modern. It's got a late 90's early 2000's vibe. I decided to join Anytime Fitness because of their multiple locations in the Twin Cities and better fit for my work situation.

Fantastic experience: Since the most recent owners took over and Dean Gagnon is managing things are looking up. While there are still some cleanliness issues. The staff is amazing! They are engaged and appear to enjoy their jobs. They welcome clients with a smile and the energy is amazing. Angie is always willing to help and her personality is priceless. She is a GEM. Dean is very friendly and proactive. I appreciate all they do for the Country Inn by Carlson with a trade out for our guests. I am also personally training with Dana S. and I am very pleased with my progress.

Fantastic experience: Great place to workout. Joined in early summer and in November I've dropped 55 pounds. They have all the equipment you need to meet all your fitness challenges. Definitely worth it!

Positive experience: Joined over a year ago and even though I have not been as consistent as I would have liked the fitness center has always been up to date, clean and well staffed. I especially like the variety of workout options and the variety of clients, from Silver Sneakers to hard core workout buffs.
