Fantastic experience: I've been enjoying chiropractic care since 1998, so I didn't need to be convinced to go. Most of my care has simply been maintenance and over the years I've needed specific adjustments to address aggravating pains and discomfort. Visiting Dr Meiners was yet another incredible reason why chiropractic care is so important in my life. I have been dealing with dual shoulder impingement that has been absolutely painful while attempting to sleep. You can't get comfortable and toss and turn all night. I've been doing physical therapy with limited results. It just wouldn't go away. On a random visit to the Wellness Center for my typical maintenance adjustment I mentioned that I was having extreme shoulder pain. After a few questions and range of motion exercises, Dr Meiners knew exactly what the issue was and had me adjusted in less than five minutes. Immediately I started feeling better and got a full night sleep for the first time in at least 6 months. I'm feeling better and better each day. It will take some more PT to stretch the ligaments out but this was the answer no one else provided. I'm so grateful!

Negative experience: Friendly. Prompt service. Smells incredible inside. Great rehab area. Great front desk help and scheduling. But… Very painful neck adjustments left me with random shooting pain down my left side neck and arm. Painful ankle adjustment as well. Went a few times but couldn’t buy into their beliefs of anti-vax, no Covid masks necessary, no sugar life (which I understand but don’t need a lecture). I understand WELLNESS is in the name, but unsure if this is a good fit for me. Good luck.

Fantastic experience: I started using Canton wellness November 1, 2024. After suffering over 3 years of pain and pouring out $$$ to many other Chiropractors over past 3 years. I spent so much money with the hopes they can fix me. I was wrong. Ever since I started with Chris the Owner, In such a short time, I feel better, I Canceled my Back Surgery that was supposed to take place 12-31-2024. I will not look any further. Fantastic experience: Throughout the years finding a Chiropractic Therapist that puts the benefit of the patient first has been all but non-existent. The initial consultation by Dr. Chris Meiners at Canton Wellness Center was not only felt to be informative but demonstrated the compassion for the patient exhibited through compassion for the suffering pain being experienced. The strategy that would be utilized was explained in detail with much needed assurances of a successful outcome if all parties worked in tandem and completed all required applications subscribed by Dr. Meiners. Also, and just as important, is the supportive staff of Melisa Mejia and Kayla Jordan that continually exhibit a caring and friendly composure.

Dr. Meiners figured out that I had a bulging disk due to my short leg. I started traction for a lifetime pain relief, rather than him just adjusting me for a short time pain relief. Fantastic experience: I couldn’t function properly without the care I receive from Dr. Meiners at Canton Wellness Center due to a neck injury from a wreck 26 years ago. He has been seeing my family for almost 20 years and adjusted my son for the first time when he was just two weeks old due to his neck being out of place when he was born (picture below). The chiropractic office delivers corporate-like results while having a family feel that embodies the community spirit of Cherokee County. I’ve always been highly active and have perpetually suffered from chronic muscle soreness, aches, acute back pain, inflammation… the whole gambit. I’ve lived somewhat of a transient life moving from location to location, and I’ve taken a very deliberate approach about selecting the highest-rated chiropractors in each area that I’ve lived (i.e. California, Minnesota, Germany). However, my pain relief was always temporary, until I started going to Canton Wellness Center. Dr Meiners’ unique approach of combining traditional chiropractic techniques while adopting innovative ligament and muscle development movements, coupled with the cutting-edge technology he uses has unequivocally delivered the best and most effective results. Candidly, understanding and addressing the core issues affecting my spinal health has significantly increased my quality of life! Additionally, the office staff, Kayla and Melisa are personable, professional and engaging. Their customer service is exemplary as they always are accommodative to my ever-changing schedule. Negative experience: I normally don't leave reviews, but hoping to save someone else taking off work and time if this practice will not be a good fit for you. The office was quite nice and the staff friendly; however during the appointment Dr. Meiners, unprompted by me, pushed his thoughts regarding Covid, including: Covid is not easily spread, masks do not work, that I was lied to about what was in the Covid vaccine, and that the vaccine has caused 21,000 deaths. I did not invite this conversation or share my own views, but it began as I was wearing a mask to the appointment as I'm currently living with an at-risk older person. I am in to holistic wellness and often this means questioning traditional advice; however, saying Covid was not easily spread ultimately led me to end the appointment early and leave. Chiropractors are not virologists or general practitioners and I do not feel this was professionally appropriate. In addition, though I do not believe this was done with malintent, Dr. Meiners repeatedly said I was a "smart girl" as I was asking questions about some of his statements regarding Covid. I am in my 30s with over a decade of professional work experience, which I shared while doing my intake form. I felt calling me this repeatedly was not appropriate at best and demeaning at worst.

Fantastic experience: Late November of 2021 I went to Dr. Chris to have him review my situation. Dealing with a 17 year old injury that had damaged my L3 and C3/4 discs I was experiencing severe pain in my upper neck area. The pain level was an 8/9 and decent sleep was hard to come by. We started an alignment plan with a 6 month plan for some corrective measures and I can say 4 months later the pain level is about 3/4 and I am sleeping 7-8 hours solid. No drugs used to this point, great staff, & what I feel is a customized plan of dealing with the root cause.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Chris is amazing. I went in with sciatic nerve pain. He took X-rays and my spine is out of whack. Been going to him for a month now. After a week my sciatic pain was gone. He is now helping me get my curvature back in my neck. Dr. Chris is a very caring chiropractor and he has an amazing team. I’m so blessed that one of the employees reached out to me. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Canton Wellness Center since January 2021 and I love Dr. Meiners and his staff. I have been to several different chiropractors throughout my life and none of them compare to the functional care Dr Meiners gives. I like that he really takes his time to do x-rays and a full exam then goes over the report in detail with you. That has been a first for me. He couples chiropractic care with exercises for a complete care experience. I highly recommend Dr Meiners and his team!

Fantastic experience: I suffered from severe migraines and neck pain for years. Also my right hand was numb and painful. I had been to many chiropractors, physical therapists and medical doctors. I was taking migraine medicine and muscle pain medication almost daily because the pain was getting more intense day by day. Negative experience: The Dr. and his staff are very kind and caring. However, I do not feel like the treatment was customized to my needs. After a month of treatment there was no improvement and no explanation of why. It seemed like a "one size fits all approach" with the traction and skillset If your chiropractic needs fit into his specialty, perfect. He's your guy. However, if not, he will attempt to make you fit into his specialty.

Fantastic experience: Dr Meiners is one of the most caring Individuals I have ever met. No only does he care about your health but also you as a person and a friend. I have been a Patient of his for over 10 years and Canton Wellness is like a second family to us. Not only does he take care of me but also my two children ages 1 and 4. I would not entrust my children to his care if I did not fully believe that what he does is therapeutic and essential to healthy living. I suffered with chronic migraines and severe headaches for years before his care. His approach is different then your average chiropractors because he looks at correcting the problem and gives you the tools you need to continue your care at home.

Fantastic experience: I was injured in a MVA 3 years ago. My back pain and sciatica was so severe that i had to sit or lie down every 15 minutes to get pain relief. I felt disabled. I refused posterior lumbar fusion that was recommended by a Neurosurgeon. My brother recommended me to Dr Meiners. I noticed pain relief after the 3rd visit. He put me in a traction device and is adjusting my whole spine with chiropractic biophysic techniques. I am in my 4th week of treatment and the sciatica is completely gone and i am now able to be on my feet for 3-4 hours without sitting or lying down. Dr Meiners is awesome as well as his staff. I do not feel disabled anymore!!

Fantastic experience: I loved being take care at Canton Wellness Center they know how to take care of people and I feel like I am in my house. The way that I came to Canton Wellness Center is because I had a car accident 9-2-15. I was coming back from leaving my brother and out of no where the car in front of me stopped and we were going at 55mph it didn't give me time to stop I ran in to him and ran into a bus (with no kids inside the bus). They only person that was injured was myself. The only good thing about the accident was that I came to Canton Wellness Center and they guide me on how to get recovered quickly. Also his wife Ingrid who is a nutritionist and works with many people to help them lose weight and eat properly for good health. She also gives great massages etc. in her salon that make you feel like a new person and she is very sweet, friendly and funny.
