Negative experience: Im giving them 2 stars only because the people were nice. Why so low? I have a medicine i need. Its there, i could have walked out with it today. Instead, because my insurance reimbursement isn’t enough they refused to fill my prescription. Now, this drug has been in the news lately bc people found they lost weight with it, but its really for type 2 diabetics to help us produce our own insulin, which is why i need it. But because it isn’t profitable for them, i am now without. Nobody else has doses of this which is how i wound up there to start as i usually go to walgreens where i paid a $25 copay for it there and went on my way. So here is the deal, if you want Tylenol then yea they’re fine. But if you need actual meds? You are better at a big name pharmacy.

Fantastic experience: Shout out to Charle League - Wellness Educator of Medicap Compounding Pharmacy I called yesterday to order a supplement and ask if they could send it to my place as I don't live in Raleigh anymore. She was amazing as she has always been. Every time I go to the Medicap Pharmacy she is super nice and she helps me to find the supplement I need. Well, Yesterday I really needed her help and she was right on it. I was not expecting to have this delivered today. She also referred 2 pharmacies in the area I live and included a card for ordering online at their e-commerce site with a 10% discount on my first order. I am very pleased and amazed by her attention and care. Thank you Charle and I hope to find a pharmacy and someone like you to care as much as you do.

Fantastic experience: Medicap is the best and most inexpensive compounding pharmacy I've found to present. I have a corn allergy (it's in EVERYTHING) and I've never had an issue with their compounds. Justin is the BEST TECH EVER. He goes way above and beyond, is very professional and extremely personable. If there is a problem, he gets to the core of it. I can’t express how much better I feel and how much I recommend for everyone to look into compression socks just for daily wear. I was also greeted by the pharmacy staff and felt so welcomed! Fantastic experience: When I first walked into Medicap Raleigh they were playing a series of soft and relaxing mediation medlodies. The room defuser they must haveen using also help put me in a restful calm mood. Paula, the young woman who gave my husband and I our shot #1 of 2 was wonderful and positive. They reminded us that they would be calling a week before the appointment for shot #2. Also, Paula had us sit comfortably in the waiting area for 15 minutes to monitor us. I highly recommend Medicap Raleigh!

Fantastic experience: I seldom write online reviews, but I'm making an exception in this case because my father and I received such outstanding customer service from Debbie Schofield of Medicap Pharmacy. My father received a prescription for compression wrap-arounds, and therefore we made an appointment with Debbie at Medicap. She fitted the wrap-arounds in an expert fashion, but then I asked her what the comparative advantages of wrap-arounds (as opposed to socks) were. She replied that the wrap-arounds were easier to put on oneself, but asked whether someone would be available to put the socks on my father. I let her know that I could do so, as I am my father's caregiver. She said that, in that case, the socks are a more affordable option. Note that she put my *father's* interest first by forgoing the more expensive product. When the socks arrived she patiently demonstrated how to put them on and then (when we asked) said that she'd love to order some more for us but wanted to give us some time to make sure we were happy with the first pair. My father, who had felt discomfort with other compression hosiery, was exceedingly happy with socks we purchased from Debbie, and we ordered two more pairs. Debbie is outstanding because of her expertise, her practice of putting the customer first, and her warm but completely professional manner. I wholeheartedly give her the highest recommendation possible as a compression hosiery vendor.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Medicap for three years. My Health goal is to divide and conquer my different challenges. Bobby gives me the tools to see my progress with each visit. Remember the old saying " I am from Missouri, prove it?" Each report gives me an insight to value info to keep me on track. At age 70 I plan on going every 6 months to continue improving my preventive medicine strategies.

Fantastic experience: I walked in just before closing time thinking I'd quickly pick up a prescription. Due to absolutely no error on their part it got complicated. The staff and pharmacy tech, Justin, were so kind and helpful in assisting me in clearing up a transfer fiasco, and stayed late to make sure that I had a path forward to get a medication for my daughter. They are a top notch team!

Fantastic experience: Beware of low prices when shopping for your first pair of compression socks. Becky took the time to properly fit me for the correct size of "Mediven for men select" They are not the cheapest , but certainly far superior to "comparable" products that I Tried on Amazon and GRoupon. Went back today and got 3 new pairs in different colors. Great personal service!

Negative experience: Absolute TOTAL failure to deliver on promise. I called to see if they could secure a drug which my usual pharmacy was having trouble filling (5 week wait). "Yes sir, I called our distributor and they can have it here tomorrow (Dec 20th)". "Great", I said, "Order it". I just called (today's the 26th) to make sure I didn't waste a trip over there "We're sorry, but our distributor was out and won't have it until sometime in January. They don't know exactly when, but we'll call you back". No, no you won't ... I canceled the order and have crossed out Medicap as a reliable pharmacy.

Fantastic experience: This is a knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating place to do business. My husband and I have had all of our prescriptions here for years. During this Open Enrollment Period for Medicare, Justin analyzed our current medications and recommended the top 3 choices for our Part D Prescription Drug policy. He had all the information clearly printed before we came for our appointment. We were able to make an informed decision at the lowest cost to us. I would not do business anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Great service and better knowledge. Used the Gaia Liver Cleanse tea for a diabetic that followed protocol but numbers gradually creeping up (was 150 with meds) . Did now want to increase meds. Several days of the tea and the numbers are now consistently 104-108. Nothing else has changed (no additional physical activity and/or dietary changes). I will continue to utilize Medicap Pharmacy for products and tap into their knowledge base for alternatives. Thank you Deborah!

Fantastic experience: Staff at GARNER location told me my Rx wasn't called in, when in fact it was. No big deal-mistakes happen. The bummer was the snotty, short attitude of the staff when I called back to see if the Rx had come in. The RALEIGH location has a friendly, helpful staff that is very thorough. I think I will drive the extra 30 minutes just to feel I am in good hands. I don't trust my medication in the hands of whoever it was that answered the phone.

Fantastic experience: Medicap pharmacy is by far the absolute best pharmacy I've ever had the privilege of doing business with!! I suppose that has a lot to do with the fact that it's actually not at all like doing business when I go there, it's more like visiting with some of your best friends!! This is the only pharmacy I've ever been to where when you walk through the door at least one person is saying hello, but not just a generic hello, but a greeting where they meet you by saying your name and always following up with a sincere how are you doing!! As long as I live close enough for medicap to be my pharmacy it will continue to be. In this small building you will find some of the nicest most knowledgeable people you will ever meet, and I honestly don't believe I've ever been there one time where I didn't laugh at least once and usually leave smiling- the team at medicap are not just a group of people in the business of selling pills, but more so in the business of humanity and seeing to it that you are not just taking medicine but also on the path to feeling better, knowing more, and being understood whenever you have questions and call them 4 times a day as I sometimes do, but never get a voice on the other end of the line that sounds annoyed but rather a caring cheerful voice that's actually glad that you've called and always makes you feel better about whatever questions you have!! Fantastic experience: As a retired educator and having taken many different Rxs over the years, along with having my prescriptions filled at many different pharmacies in the many towns/cities I have lived in, MEDICAP PHARMACY IS BY SUPERIOR BY FAR than other pharmacy I have dealt with. Locally, Rxs have been filled at Kerr drug (the pharmacy people were good, but often times out of my particular Rx), after being bought by Walgreen the scene changed dramatically...the worst place to do business. Walgreen's treatment of their employees is horrible (which in turn affected their employees working with customers a negative way), how they handle business is one of the worst nightmares. BAD. THE STAFF AT MEDICAP HAVE GONE ABOVE AND BEYOND IN ASSISTING ME WITH MY MEDICATIONS. WITHOUT ANY RESERVATION I HAVE FOUND MEDICAP PHARMACY AND STAFF IS SUPERIOR TO ANY THAT YOU CAN NAME. They are always wonderfully helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They provide awesome communication to me (via phone and email - you choose communication/s you want) about my prescription/s. Their service has remained consistently great through the years. They will help you find what you are looking for - even if it is unusual. They also provide customized nutritional and supplemental support. Plus they do compounding if you need that! In my busy life, they are my one stop pharmacy to fill all my needs! And if I don't think I can make it to Raleigh, they will mail my prescriptions to me as well. Every employee I have had interactions with is friendly, helpful, takes the time to explain things if I need it, and makes me want to come back. I love that they carry an excellent supply of quality nutritional supplements. I love that they understand what it means to have sensitivities and allergies to the excipients (like corn, soy, benzene) in some prescription medications and are able to offer me alternatives through compounding. Once they mailed my prescription to an old address, and they bent over backwards, and then some, to correct the error. I can't imagine better service anywhere. I've never had any pharmacy care so much about me and my health. THANK YOU!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I've been with Medicap Pharmacy ever since I can remember. Every time I go in I am greeted with smiling faces who actually know who I am. Recently I lost my insurance so I switched to Wal-Mart Pharmacy thinking that it would be cheaper and on some of the medications it was. But on my major medication I waited over a a week to find out they still didn't have it and I was completely out. I called Medicap right away and they had it in stock and had it was ready for me in a couple hours. They have always been super helpful and give me any advice that I need whether it is for vitamins or my regular medications. I love this pharmacy and will never leave agaqin!
