Fantastic experience: I have seen chiropractors in many areas of the country over the last 30 years and it was truly a gift to find this group of practitioners in my new home - Texas. I have a few physical complications that make my treatment somewhat difficult; Dr. Clinton and her partner possess those qualities that I think we all hope to find - The ability to truly listen to their patients and their knowledge regarding their own bodies. Fantastic experience: I first sought care due to back and neck pain with recurring headaches. Dr. Clinton-Hodges chiropractic care has alleviated both the headaches and back pain within a short period of time. It is not only important to me to be pain free, but I want to be as active and healthy as possible in my retirement years. Using genetic testing, Dr. Clinton-Hodges was able to personalize diet and supplement recommendations that have improved my sleep, digestion issues and energy levels. Dr. Clinton-Hodges is thorough, responsive and extremely knowledgeable. Her kind and caring demeanor make it easy to discuss my health concerns and goals. Massage therapy with Marissa has also been very beneficial. She has tailored treatments to meet my personal needs. I leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, and they make it easy to schedule appointments and services. I’m very thankful for the guidance and care I receive from Back Bone Wellness.

Fantastic experience: Dr Aman is the best chiropractor I've ever seen! He cracks everything and my pain is significantly improved seeing him. Unfortunately I have an extreme jaw issue that requires surgery that I can't afford yet so my alignment is ALWAYS going to suck until I can get the surgery then I'm sure I'll actually start holding adjustments!

Fantastic experience: Dr Schwab is my Chiro and she is great. I had shoulder pain from an overuse injury swimming years ago. Physical therapy only did so much. I came to Dr Schwab. She read the X-ray better than the specialist even did and identified the potential cause of my pain. A few months later with once a week sessions and I am so much better. I can swim regularly again too! Thanks so much for everything!

Fantastic experience: Ideal Protein Coach LaChanda is the absolute best! I have been with her now about 5 years, followed LaChanda from another location when she moved. What makes her special? She is kind and redirects negative talk and helps you see the bright side when you get discourage in this weight loss journey. I always leave with a plan for the coming week. It is not just a weekly check in it is an attitude adjustment, strategy session and a therapy session all in one! Other things that I have felt were different with LaChanda (had 2 different coaches before her at two different practices) that she has the freedom at Backbone to do the things that she really shines at - keeping it fresh, parties and contests. Never ever did I get the depth that I get with LaChanda and especially LaChanda at a practice where she so clearly is valued by the doctors and staff! There are Thanksgiving and Christmas parties, contests, constant content on her Facebook page with recipes and new ways to eat the ideal protein foods. I absolutely love LaChanda and cannot recommend her enough as a coach! And what is truly special is to see her in a practice where she is supported in a way that she truly shines! Fantastic experience: I’m a bit biased because I’m a Massage Therapist on staff, but I get my body work done here. All our therapist a great. Lots of variety in modalities, but if you’re looking for a therapeutic medical massage this is your place. We have 4 Chiropractors on staff, a nutritionist, weight lost specialist…list goes on. Negative experience: I recently had a massage at Backbone Wellness with Ashley Girvan. I cannot recommend her services enough. I have been searching for a massage therapist for years given my history of severe neck and back issues. Her anatomical knowledge and ability to get to the root cause of my pain meant that for the first time, I feel true relief that I didn’t know was possible anymore. I previously rated 5 stars for massage from Ashley the rest of the place is a mess and now that she is gone and they raised the prices without even notifying us before charging my card, I would never go back to Backbone for massage or chiropractic. Update: A few things I want to clarify, most responses such as yours do not merit a response. I do not have a large social media print, thus, my wife purchased our “family plan” when your employees told her it is the cheapest way for us to all schedule massage. I actually have multiple residencies one of them being here, another in Florida so you can imagine why am back in your town currently. God bless those without landing strips in their backyard. And it’s amazing since we last left you’ve lost even more of your amazing crew and it looks like they were not sad to leave either, as they have opened up shop—and if we weren’t in your system—how did they reach out to my wife? We definitely advocate for the best and help others avoid the worst. Just because we met Ashley Girvan when she was in Florida doesn’t mean we don’t exist. In fact, upon working for you she even suggested we come and see her there if her hours worked better for us—you let go of the very best. Someone so honest and who genuinely wanted the best for her clients—even when it was your client. Maybe next time—you wonder if perhaps some think you are stupid—let it be rather than opening your mouth and proving them right.

Fantastic experience: Annina is the most wonderful acupuncturist I could imagine having. I am getting acupuncture in hopes of treating my infertility. Every time I see her I am blown away by her knowledge on all things fertility. She is an incredibly good listener and truly makes me feel like she is taking in everything I am saying and then applies it to my session. I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Clinton, LaChanda, and Ryan are amazing! The whole team makes you feel welcomed and supported. I would highly recommend Backbone Wellness Center for adjustments, muscle work and nutrition. I have been a patient for years and have not been disappointed in any of the services.

Negative experience: I received treatment by a chiropractor here for 2-3 months and my pain worsened considerably. The doctor said keep coming 2x/week without a clear treatment plan or timeline. I asked the doctor to see my treatment plan in writing multiple times in the office before receiving it several days later via email when I had decided to go somewhere else because my pain had gotten so bad. I started seeing a new doctor at a different center who treats differently than the doctor at Backbone did and within 1 month my pain is gone. I didn't even have to see the new doctor 2x/week to resolve my pain, and I was in so much pain when I switched doctors. Sadly I feel Backbone is more concerned with getting you in and out as quickly as possible than providing personal care that is effective for the individual, clear in writing from day 1. With this said, I did find Megan here who is an excellent massage therapist and will continue seeing her as she's very skilled (she deserves a 5-star review). As for the doctors, be careful it's 100% clear to you what the plan is and that the technique can help you before getting started or you may end up wasting your time and money like I did.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hodges and Dr. Schwab are both awesome. They are a much needed compassionate holistic offering to Cedar Park. I refer acquaintances and family members to them without any hesitation. Everybody I have referred has thanked me. Keep up the great work!

Fantastic experience: FABULOUS. Can't say enough about preve time care and a great group of wellness professionals. Drs. Clinton and Ammon are phenomenal! Tremendous massage staff as well. Acupuncture will change your life if you've never tried it. Used altogether, this place keeps me OUT of the other doctor for anything more than regular check up.

Fantastic experience: I have been to several chiropractors in my past and Dr. Clinton is my favorite ever! She takes great interest in each and every patient and is passionate about everything that contributes to your health. She has both Eastern and Western medical training, so you get a very holistic approach to everything she addresses for you. I also love that her practice includes multiple treatment options including muscle work, which not only feels great, but also helps immensely when you suffer from neck or back problems.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely Love Tracie & her staff~ Have always been able to help my condition & advise me in the right direction. Last time she knew things were really off & sent me to my ortho who sent me directly to the ER to be Admitted to Hosp.& was diagnosed with Guillian Barre Syndrome. Hospitalized Over 5 weeks.That was in in Nov 2019, now March 202o still recovering & learning to to walk & do Over simple things in life. Thanks to Tracie & Dr V. KANCHERLA(TX OTHO) Things have turned out much worse if they didn't catch my symptoms so early on~ It's going to take a long time heal & get my nerves & muscles back to where I can walk again Without pain & a walker, but with the their help ,it will one day happen!!

Fantastic experience: I went in for my massage and really didnt think I'd sign up for a membership but following my massage I chatted at the front desk for a few minutes and I was sold. They were so helpful and my massage with Sonu was amazing. I usually opt for a woman but i wouldn't go to anyone else now. He is very good at explaining the process and encourages you to speak up. He simply says that he wants you to leave feeling relaxed and let him know if you ever feel you may leave with any other thought.

Fantastic experience: I was suffering from stiff neck off and on for few years and had never been to a chiropractor before so I thought I would try as meds and other things were not working for me. Saw Dr Clinton she was extremely thorough and found all points and areas that were stiff and out of line did my initial adjustment and I felt almost immediate relief. Of course it is work and you have to keep up with adjustments as well as stretches at home. It has been about 3 months now and I can honestly say this does not bother me much anymore, I still have a few things to work out but they for sure helped me get where I am comfortable and able to sleep and wake up without pain. The staff are super and they are kind and quick to help, even when you have a week where you lose a whole bunch of stuff at their office. LOL Their massage therpists (?) Sonu (sp?) And Moogie (sp?) are great. The muscle work I did with Sonu over a few weeks really helped in conjunction with the adjustments. He really truly took deep tissue seriously! I will continue to come and get my adjustments as long as needed and will recommend them to anyone who will listen!

Positive experience: Update: The Backbone owner reached out to me regarding this review. She asked some questions to help understand my experience. I appreciate that and after discussing, my experience with Dr. Chris may not be indicative of Backbone on the whole. If a chiropractic treatment plan gives you pause, go get a second opinion. Original: Went to see if an alignment could help my sacroiliac pain. Two sessions and I was getting my neck manipulated which wasn't related. They wanted me to take a scan of some sort (I asked if it was a dexa scan or what?) and they were evasive about it. He also told me I would need continued regular visits. I didn't schedule the third session. After this I went to an orthopedic doctor after these two chiropractor sessions made my pain worse. He (the orthopedic doctor) diagnosed my pain and within a single session of the recommended exercises my pain was and still is gone. No continued visits or recurring payments. Maybe chiropractic works for some people's pain, but the attempt to get me to come in on a regular basis for treatment that didn't make sense for me was enough to make me write this review.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit to Backbone Wellness and I received a custom facial by the wonderfully talented Linda. She is extremely knowledgeable in skincare and has magical hands! I would highly recommend seeing her! My skin is glowing!

Positive experience: I never received services at their clinic, however I was very disappointed to learn that they don't provide massage therapy to VA/ TRI West patients. My old provider included it with my chiropracty sessions. I'm finding it difficult to locate a provider that offers the same services, but I'm very disappointed they have it available but don't offer it to their veteran patients.

Fantastic experience: Working with Kristy on my health was life changing. I was getting frustrating with generic one size fits all approaches and I felt stuck and pulled in many directions. Fantastic experience: •Commuting 60 min drive each way from the Texas Hill Country •Pre- natal wellness adjustment accompanied by pre-natal massage once a week • happy commute to be treated by THE BEST in The Austin and surrounding areas! We are 23 weeks pregnant and receive routine chiropractic care regularly by our local chiropractors where we live. My local doctors are great but there truly is nothing compared to the healing care, gifts, wisdom, expertise and talent of Dr. Kristy Clinton! After our adjustment and pre-natal massage by Yvette last week , we will be commuting once a week to receive wellness care for the remainder of our pregnancy. We feel the best we have this entire pregnancy thanks to their powerful gifts. Dr. Clinton used the cranial assisted turner style (CATS) to adjust my occipital nerve and atlas. I immediately felt like a new person. Why haven’t I ever felt this before after my numerous atlas adjustments from other chiropractors? Dr. Clinton’s CATS training allowed her to assess the upper cervical area better and created a release that is still going. I really am in awe of this amazing woman’s talents. I am grateful we have Dr. Clinton in our lives and that we found THE BEST care available for the remaining of our pregnancy. If you are expecting and need something amazing in your life: HIGHLY recommend seeing Dr. Clinton for your adjustment , and Yvette immediately after for a 50 minute massage . First had a massage with Sonu who was unbelievable in how he goes about his massage for athletes. It was like Magic when he worked on me. Next day, I had a my first visit with Dr. Tracie Schwab who is spectacular and provided great service and a positive outlook to getting me to 100% with my lower back pain. I’m looking forward to the journey with this wonderful staff and would recommend this company to anyone that is seeking their services. Fantastic experience: I have been a Backbone customer for about 15 years. Not only do I love Dr. Schwab for chiropractic but I also participate in their weight loss program and the monthly membership that helps me to nurture myself with massages, facials and infrared sauna. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Backbone team, especially Adriana who manages the office and heads up the weight loss program. Fantastic experience: The staff is very friendly and good at their jobs. I've been using Dr. Schwab as my chiropractor since around 2009 and first went to her when I was having migraines on a daily basis and she was able to alleviate them after a few appointments. She's very good at diagnosing your issues and working with you to find ways to help prevent them in the future. I also use Dr. Ammann and he is fantastic as well. He does cranial adjusting in addition to his standard practice and it has helped me tremendously at times when the migraines come back. I also don't have best knees and the tendons sometimes want to act up and the muscle releases they do are very helpful. They also have masseuses on staff for deep tissue massage and they are very good too and really get in there and work the knots out.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Tracie Schawb since February 2018. I Underwent a surgery that has caused me severe pain and multiple complications. I have seen several massage therapists and Linda for skin care. I can not recommend this practice any higher! They have all helped me cope and improve. Dr Schawb Is amazing! She is an incredible Chiropractor, and her level of caring is incomprehensible unless you meet her! The staff is very friendly and caring. I have only spoken with Dr Clinton, she also has a very kind and caring disposition.

Fantastic experience: I have been looking for a good chiropractor and I finally found her! And she’s close! I’ve been a few times and have found that Dr. Tracie Schwab is caring, thorough, helpful and uses multiple modalities to address issues. Plus they have an in-house massage therapist who has worked with me after my chiropractic visits on the spot. The office administrators are super professional and organized, and they were able to fit me in for a day-of appointment when I tweaked my neck. The technology all seems new, nice, clean. The owners of the practice are the doctors, which I think brings a whole host of good things to a practice. No more walk-in visits at a chain, I’ve found my spot! I wasn’t asked to recommend or anything like that, I have just been searching for a good chiropractor and am so happy to have found one.

Fantastic experience: Dr Clinton and her staff are amazing. I have been seeing her for almost 10 years. Based on previous experience I thought chiropractic was a bunch of quacks. Not the case with Backbone. Dr Clinton is very caring and knowledgeable about the human body. She hires only the best massage therapists. The only thing I don't believe is the whole laser thing because I am an Electrical Engineer but I can overlook that :-p Recieving treatment from Backbone is the best thing for my health and comfort as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident many years ago.
