Fantastic experience: Perfect gym! it would be just better if it was 24/7 again

Fantastic experience: Playing reggaeton in the gym should be illegal. But fr, I love my gym! The staff are all wonderful, the gym is VERY clean, and both the combat side as well as the weight room are really well equipped (the new chest supported row bench is amazing, in particular).

Fantastic experience: Visited the Wolves Den a few times during recent work travel to El Paso and it is FANTASTIC. The facility is spotless, the staff is friendly, and the equipment is top notch -- lots of great equipment I haven't seen elsewhere that I wish my home gym had! Highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Easily the best gym I’ve ever been to.

Fantastic experience: Well...now that it's been a year I feel comfortable leaving my review. I love Wolves Den, the staff have always been friendly and approachable, and the gym is kept clean and tidy. One of the major pros is that memberships aren't oversold, so there are never more than a handful of people at the gym, so I've never had to "fight" for equipment. One downside is that for the price, I feel like the gym is lacking in upgraded equipment and additional services (bottle refill stations, yoga classes, other member perks). Other than that, I have been extremely happy with my gym experience here, and will likely be a long-time member. Update: 02, 2025: Bottle refill station has been added and I'm so grateful for a gym that listens to its members

Fantastic experience: My experience with Wolves Den has always been great. The staff have always been very nice and helpful. We joined this gym so my daughter could continue her boxing training from California. We were a little disappointed when her instructor had to leave, but continued to go. She was welcomed into the adult class and treated great, they even gave her a nickname. I enrolled my son later on. Unfortunately due to medical reasons for me and my daughter switching sports we had to cancel our memberships. I was willing to continue to pay my son’s membership because we signed a contract and I always keep my word on stuff like that. There was an error in the contract and I was told his payment was sent to collections. I was angry and annoyed. One of the staff sent a copy of the agreement and there was an error on my account number. The next day I talked to the owner and he was awesome. He acknowledged it was an error on their part and said we didn’t owe anything and even let me out of the contract. I wish this gym was closer to my house cause I’d be still be going as would my son. Unfortunately I live in Horizon City so it’s a little bit of a drive. I totally would recommend this gym to anyone looking for one. It’s always clean has spray bottles everywhere to wipe down the equipment and I never really had to get frustrated over some meathead hogging equipment. Great place.

Fantastic experience: I travel frequently for business and have visited many gyms, but this one stands out as the best by far. From the moment you walk through the doors, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the cleanliness of the entire facility is impressive. The staff is consistently friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable, making every visit a top-tier experience. Zachariah and Andrea, in particular, are fantastic assets to the team, contributing to an already well-rounded staff. The equipment here is exceptional—everything you need for a complete workout is available, including top-of-the-line machines and gear. They even offer equipment I’ve never seen at any other gym, like a neck machine, which is rare and effective. Additionally, the gym features a fully equipped boxing ring and gear, adding another unique element to the workout experience. Whenever I’m in El Paso, this is the ONLY gym I’ll train at. From my perspective, there’s no comparison—this gym is truly in a league of its own.

Negative experience: Do not risk going to this gym. The owner is alleging he spoke to me personally and told me I had to I signed up for a one - year up front contract after he graciously allowed me to return to the gym when my account was placed into collections. However, what actually happened is that I requested to pay year up front if it meant the owners would allow me back to the gym. The manager called me and said the owner made an exception and I don’t have to pay for the year I can go month to month. When it was time to pay for for my membership I was placed on a month to month and I requested to pay for 12 individual months of gym access and that was all I’d be paying for and no need to worry about anything else. I received a notice stating I need to pay over $950. Finally had time to talk to the manager, it was awful he lied and said I spoke to the owner when I didn’t, this made me upset and I started cursing. The owner FINALLY called me, he claimed the manager hung up on me because of the way I was talking to him ... They’re crazy if they think I’d go anywhere near this place especially after the continued lies. Yet, he said he’s going to pursue close to $1k and I clearly won’t have access to the gym. Truth is, the gym is failing and they’re using deceptive contracts and manipulation to keep it running. Everything is ok until you no longer want to give them money don’t waist your time.

Fantastic experience: What an incredible place. I have worked here for some time and due to life, I had chosen to leave. However, I have not been in such a encouraging, open environment when it came to the amazing staff and great convos with Mr. Sandy. The owner and wife, truly wants the best for you and provide great guidance. Thank you. Wolves Den is the place to be to work and to gym.

Positive experience: Excellent customer service, clean facilities, and quite the variety in machines and equipment. Location is also very practical.

Fantastic experience: WOLVES DEN GYM THE SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING AND THE GYM. cleanliness and everything was very organized, staff was very helpful. I DO RECOMENDD THE GYM FOR EITHER STARTES OR VETERANS.

Negative experience: This is the only thing you get from lone wolf. A free gym. What a lousy company.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this gym. I visited while on travel for work. They open at 4am so I was able to maintain my home schedule, which was wonderful. They provide day, week, and month passes, so it's convenient for travel. They have a huge selection of free weights, weight machines, and cardio equipment. Love the atmosphere. Summer was working the front desk and was extremely helpful and friendly. Mark is the owner and took the time to chat with me and exchange ideas. Really can't say enough great things about this place. If you're in town, check it out!

Fantastic experience: Wow, what a great first time experience. I was skeptical about coming here at first, but the minute I came in, my whole opinion shifted. The front desk girl Summer was PHENOMENAL. Such a great, welcoming attitude. She broke down every piece of equipment and gave such an elaborate breakdown of the gym itself and I was blown away. I wish all front desk staff had her knowledgeable and friendly personality. I’ll definitely be recommending wolves den to everyone I know thanks to her! The equipment was very clean along with the restrooms, and the open environment was great. I’ve been to a lot of gyms in my time and this one takes the cake. They are not like every other gym in El Paso, especially with there state of the art heart rate monitors.really happy with my experience !!

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym. What folks say on here is true—one of the best, and certainly the best in El Paso. Layout is deliberate and makes sense; equipment is clean and well-maintained; culture is respectable where everyone cleans after use. Also, a pleasant surprise they have a cleaning staff. Lastly, the employees and owner (an AF vet) seem like great people! Monthly rate is a bit higher than average, but you definitely get what you pay for—a very fair value.

Negative experience: Great equipment. But the piss poor attitude of the owner and staff ruin the experience. They have a high turnover rate for a reason. You'll get yelled at and told off for new rules you didn't even know about. The coaches are good, but even they are sick of the management.

Negative experience: My wife, my son and I had been loyal members for almost 4 years prior to today. Our son started the boxing program here in July of 2020 and we were very happy with the coach of the boxing program but not much else. Staff retention is very low here and they were never able to keep employees longer than a few months including managers. The staff that they did have were never really friendly and hardly even looked up from their computer screen. So, the only person we built a rapport with was the boxing coach. Recently he decided to stop coaching at the gym and so we were considering leaving as well. The coach worked it out with the owner to be able to continue to train our son, it was quickly apparent there was tension there. The manager sent me text messages trying to discuss the coach's departure and seemed to be "fishing" for information about where he was coaching at which I thought was very immature and unprofessional. Yesterday I was approached by a desk staff and told "they wanted me to tell you that your son can only train here until the golden gloves tournament". When I asked him why he said it was because I had "failed to pay his membership fees for more than two years". Which instantly bewildered me because we have been paying the same amount since July 2020 without a single change or missed payment. I asked why I hadn't been informed there was an issue prior to the day, and he indicated "they were supposed to tell you sooner". I didn't understand how there could be this issue if I had been getting charged every month for almost 4 years. I requested that the manager contact me, and a meeting be set up. I was contacted the next day by the manager and told they could meet today. I arrived at their gym to talk to the manager and owner however the manager never got up from the desk and didn't speak to me. The owner who has never spoken more than 10 words to us asked me to explain my concern. I did and emphasized that no one had attempted to resolve the issue and merely indicated that my son was on a quickly expiring allowance at the gym. He then very condescendingly explained that he had allowed our son to try the boxing class even though they don't usually allow kids under 8 to train because they lack the attention span required for boxing. He then went on to say very sarcastically said "to your sons credit he actually understood and did quite well..." (He is a 2-time Golden Glove Champion.) But after he turned 8 the price should have been increased from the initial price by $15.00. He admitted that no one on their side had ever caught the error and that we were "underpaying" for 2 years. I indicated that had someone made an actual attempt to discuss this with me before threatening us i would have gladly resolved the issue and paid the difference, but no one ever tried to talk to me. It may have much to do with the fact that they never have the same staff and that staff they do have do not know how to communicate with customers effectively. He then kept talking over me to indicate that "we have tried addressing this several times. I know because i have cameras and microphones i heard you talking to the coach about it yesterday." For one I know for a fact that he doesn't have "footage" of his staff "trying to address" this with me that would suggest that I was knowingly taking my son to a boxing class and knowingly not paying the full price which never happened. And in addition, this man admitted to watching the cameras (which isn't uncommon for a gym) but also using microphones and listening in on conversations. I wish i had that much free time at my job! I would never recommend anyone use this gym not for their own fitness or for their child's boxing. The owner is a creep, has no customer service skills and no tact. One thing that really bothered me was that he also referred to my wife as "your girlfriend or whatever", after I had said the word "WIFE" at least 5 times in the conversation we were actively having. When I corrected him, he didn't apologize and just said "well I didn't catch that".

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal gym!! I was in town for 2 days and needed a place to work out. Found Wolves Den Gym and was pleasantly surprised. Staff is super courteous and friendly. Gym is clean, well organized, and has all the equipment you need. I highly doubt there's a better gym in El Paso. I will definitely be back if I'm in town again. I wish them nothing but success and continued growth!

Great professional staff I got upset and didn’t handle things the right way with the manager and he never said anything back to me even though I definitely deserved it. Negative experience: If there was less than a star I will give it to this place, the manager is very unprofessional , he does not follow commitments and gets people hurt….if you value your time, money and most important your health, don’t recommend you making business here.

Negative experience: Awful business practices. If you move you are stuck with this contract. They will let you out of the contract if they move, but not you. That is crazy to me.

Negative experience: BAD BUSINESS. If you call to cancel they don't tell you the process, they just tell you to go in and sign. They fail to tell you that it has to be done 30 days before your renewal. They lie on the notes of when they spoke to you even when you have call logs to show otherwise. When you go sign the cancellation notice they leave certain parts out and don't tell you even though you're cancelling they're still going to charge you because it's not 30 days before. You find out when you check you bank account. They didn't even give me a copy of my contract until I brought it up to them which is my fault I should've gotten one when I signed but they should've given me one when I signed. So now they said I have to pay the 6 months of contract even though my son will not be going!! JUST SHADY BUSINESS!! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Positive experience: Pros: For a flat rate you get access to a complete gym, cardio area, boxing classes and cardio/strength workouts directed by coaches. The gym is 24hr open. But closes on Sundays (good excuse for a rest day) They have a military discount. Everywhere in the gym is very clean. I look forward to improve my conditioning. Cons: The approach of one of the coaches can be discouraging. He will actively try to piss you off so you work harder or something.But that doesn't really work with me, it just distracts me. So just come here expecting this type of stuff

Fantastic experience: In my opinion The Best Gym in El Paso, TX. They are very clean and super friendly, I always feel welcome and encouraged by the staff and other members. Especially in these Covid times, the cleanliness in this gym is amazing,I always feel assured, the staff is always on top of everything even though the members always clean up the stations when they're done, the staff goes above and beyond by sanitizing all the gym equipment constantly. There is plenty of room here and nicely divided. You have a cardio area, a Weights area, and open training space, a Boxing Ring, plenty of heavy bags, speed bags and all the needed equipment to exercise and train in MMA, Boxing and Kick Boxing. Yes they do have classes too and they do not make you feel obligated to join in. All in all I have a great workout and always a good experience when I come here. I highly recommend this place.

Positive experience: Very clean and nice staff. Issue is they will not talk about pricing over the phone and for what they have it is not worth 80 bucks a month. They have a nice setup for classes and free weight room. Cardio room is way to small. Over all a ok gym if you have the money you want to waste

Although Wolves Den Gym has come highly recommended to me from friends I'm even more thankful that they have the big billboard off the highway on my way into town- can't miss it now & wouldn't ever want to!!

Negative experience: Make sure you read your contract and ensure their employees follow through with their tasks. Otherwise you'll end up with a significantly large bill which they will never notify you of and send you directly to collections. Customers are stuck with all this and had NEVER USED the the facility. Bad business

Fantastic experience: Very clean, locally-owned, and friendly staff with the same top of the line equipment you'd find at Gold's or Ep Fitness. I didn't check out the boxing class, but the weight-room is 10/10.

Such a cool guy. 2nd: facility is awesome. Not crowded in morn at all. All the equip a person needs. SUPER CLEAN and organized. 3rd: man I wish I lived here to take the boxing classes. What an amazing facility for boxers. I don’t want to come to EP too often, but this gym literally makes me want to come more just for the gym! Thanks Wolves Den! Made my week

Fantastic experience: Excellent place to train either by yourself or with one the trainers. The gym is always clean and the people are professional. What is so great about the place it opens at 5 is in the morning and on the boxing side, there is a class that starts that early.
