Fantastic experience: My 13 year old doggie, Mena, a chihuahua mix had been struggling with pancreatitis. With every episode it seemed to t ake more life out of her. I noticed proceeding every episode she would get gassy. Fantastic experience: When I first contacted Dustin I was having a terrible time getting quality sleep. Even if I went to bed at a halfway decent hour , I would consistently wake up several hours later feeling wide awake. Averaging 4-5 hours of sleep per night , and sometimes even less, finally began to take a toll on my ability to show up for my life. I was pushing myself thru each day. I had a difficult time relaxing, felt constantly driven, wired and tired. I had been on a protocol that included typical magnesium supplements made with elemental magnesium combined with an acid and getting a degree of relief, but when I added EZ-MAG by Standard Process, a natural magnesium supplement including co-factors that aid in absorption, I felt as if I had taken a valium tablet! Fantastic experience: For the past couple of years, I wake up every morning in pain and utter exhaustion, barely finding enough strength to get up. Some days harder than others, where it takes awhile for me to even be able to stand up. I was like a burnt-out battery that couldn't take a charge, and I was just running on reserve energy that was emptying at rapid rate. I was getting drained faster than I could recharge. And yet every night when I go to bed just completely depleted, sleep consistently evades me. It was like sleep was mocking me. I have been passed around from one doctor to another, poked and prodded by one test after another. I was a broken object that nobody knew how to fix. I was broken, period. Then by providence, or maybe God's mercy, I discovered Dustin Strong through a friend. After the long unproductive haul I have went through, I resigned myself to getting myself checked out with little to no hope or expectations. At this point, I have practically surrendered to the idea that this was going to be my life, again, if you call it that. And boy was I wrong. Ecstatically so. Fantastic experience: Unexpected side effects! (read on) I was diagnosed with Acid reflux/GERD over 12 years ago. It has been a long journey. That journey included several different medications, increased dosages, all of which were temporary. They never resolved, only postponed. I then tried more natural remedies. I tried herbal teas, different forms of greens (powders, smoothies, etc), and supplements. In conjunction with avoiding certain foods, my reflux symptoms would resolve, however, only temporarily. I heard about Strong on Health from a friend. I was desperate for answers. After my initial consultation with Dustin Strong and sharing my health history/journey, he had a treatment plan specifically designed for me. He shared years of wisdom and insight to the underlying causes of my health issues. I had not found or learned any of this in all the research I had done, however, I just knew it was the missing piece to my health puzzle. I was nervous at first and just knew he was going to tell me all the things I was doing wrong and I was going to have to change my diet and eating habits drastically. He didn’t!! He even told me that I could continue drinking coffee!! I was SHOCKED! I had been avoiding coffee for so long as it would irritate my stomach and then I would have to deal with the acid reflux. Dustin recommended certain whole foods to add to my current routine, some supplements as well. He also recommended a book “Why Stomach Acid is Good For You”. Just the title alone had me really curious. I’m not much of a reader, but I read that book in four days. Very eye-opening and some really good information. Especially about acid blockers and their harmful side effects. After just a few days on my new custom tailored treatment, I was already experiencing improvements to my digestive health. I was so excited, and then nervous as I thought the results would only be temporary. The acid reflux symptoms just kept getting less and less. Now, this has been a long process. Because my health had been poor for so long, there were underlying issues that have surfaced during this process. Dustin has been SO encouraging and has never been shocked or surprised about any of my symptoms or issues. He has always given me hope and walked with me throughout this entire process to better health. Some days have been better and others not as much, but I have seen more progress than ever! Now, I must say, there have been some unexpected side effects during this process. I’m sure you’re curious now. I did share with Dustin about being diagnosed with chronic dry eye before having lazik surgery for my astigmatism about 7 years ago. The eye doctor told me lazik would make my dry eye symptoms worse and would need eye drops for the rest of my life. Prior to my treatment at Strong on Health a small 1 oz bottle of quality eye drops would last me a month or less. Now, after Dustin added a mineral supplement to my treatment, I haven’t purchased a bottle of eye drops in several months now. My eyes haven’t felt this good in a very long time. I have read countless books on alternative medicine and Functional medicine. Besides him being a genuine person, his knowledge about the body exceeds anyone I've known so far, even my doctors.
