Fantastic experience: Front Desk staff member Elizabeth was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions regarding an appointment. She clearly explained all the forms I needed to bring and was both respectful and professional throughout our interaction. I highly recommend making an appointment at this clinic—not only do they offer medical services, but as Elizabeth explained, they also provide behavioral and dental care. Excellent customer service!

Positive experience: I will leave good reviews when warranted and will do the same for a negative experience. I have been coming here for several years and don't normally have a problem. I had an appointment for 11:15am to get my results for some lab work I had done 2 weeks prior. I was called back to at 11:20am. The nurse assistant took my weight and blood pressure as normal and put me in room 1. I checked the time on my phone to see how long it would take to get my lab results numbers and at 12:14 the nurse practitioner came in and first thing she said was an apology for the wait. 50 minutes it took of waiting for something that took her 2 minutes to read off the paper. Unacceptable!! They weren't busy with a lot of patients and this 2 minute visit shouldn't have taken 50 minutes!

Negative experience: The dental staff is inadequate and I highly doubt to come here if you are looking to be billed correctly. They wouldn’t accept me after I told them their office is in network with my insurance. They even admitted that the prior patient to me had to pay out of pocket cuz when they ran his insurance it wasn’t in network but they did it anyways. I called and even showed them on my insurance app and they still wouldn’t accept me. Waste of time I don’t have trying to get my teeth checked out. Can’t imagine what the doctor is like.
Positive experience: Buena comunicación, personal muy atento
Negative experience: They’re rude, never answer the phone. When you go in there’s about 3-4 receptionists asking you the same question because they do not have any communication skills. Dolores from pharmacy is RUDE. She did not want to transfer me to make an appointment because “that’s not her department” over all a horrible clinic not sure how it’s still standing. If you don’t like your career you can easily change it. Because customer care is definitely missed in this establishment. Not to mention not even the Dr.’s last. One day you go an see a dr. On your next visit the dr left to another clinic I wonder why.
Negative experience: Yesterday 08/15/2023 i had an appointment with Alison ann, she is tired. She il older and need to rest, she was with me, also, that office had the worst organize. I would like to write everything. Careful with Allison after 12:00, she is ugly person.
Fantastic experience: I leave 5 stars bc they saved my life. Bloodwork led me to needing special care. The doctor and staff found me a doctor that would take me in with state assistance because I am low income. Had they not done that for me, I wouldn’t be typing this today. Because they provided the specialist, I found very affordable medical help. Every time I drive past, I always think about what they did for me. They treated me with respect and I’ll always appreciate that from a public health clinic.
Negative experience: Worst experience the older lady with freckles in the front desk . Clearly said no to everything I wanted to get checked on , so rude she said no we can’t do none of that today . I think she Has an awful attitude. There was no one in the clinic. I was going to Pat why diss customers like that. I will never be stepping foot back in there. And I will be telling everyone the way I was treated . Other times when there were other young lady’s they were very nice and educated. That lady needs to get fired .

Negative experience: I remember coming here years ago in 2015 and getting bad news on lab work. the way the doctor approached me was she came in, Leaned against the patient bed and said “wow I didn’t expect this from someone your age, so young “ she basically said I had hep c. after telling my family and boyfriend at the time the news & becoming devastated and sad, they told me they had another person mixed up because we had the same bday, first name & last name. So after that I was always concerned! So my other doctors at the time @ a diff locations dr.thota, dr.Deleon, dr. Bandhakavi, did blood work on me as I requested, even my obgyn and they all said I didn’t have HepC. So this place literally scared the life out me and caused me to break down for nothing when I was 24 years old. I think they call that -Malpractice!
Negative experience: I have never left a review for any business. Sad that a doctors office is my first review and a negative one at that. I had been seen in this office for a year. On different medications for different issues. I've never had to try so hard to get medication refilled while in the office being seen. I've had issues with the blood pressure medication I'm on yet the doctor does not care to change it. Place is never clean. I have never seen the same cna or nurse it's always a new one. Wait times are anywhere from 3-4 hours. I feel like I'm not being heard with my health issues and the doctors just do not care. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. I worked for a PCP for 22 years and could never imagine our doors staying open if the place looked like it did, staff treated patients the way they do and doctors didn't care about their patients like that. Do not recommend this place at all and I will not be back very unprofessional. If I could leave less than 1 star I would. Absolutely ridiculous they will do anything to get a dollar from you but help you with your care. This is the worst doctors office in Houston. Someone needs to shut them down. And as far as their response goes the place really is horrible and dirty. They play loud music ignore you hold roaches, dangling them in front of other coworkers. There truly is a different nurse every visit. They've hung up on me! I've been prescribed blood pressure medication by Dr Allison. Needed clearance from my dentist due to the blood pressure medication yet she refuses to give the clearance stating she doesn't need to that a hematology doctor will have to. So you can prescribe and monitor my blood pressure but can't give clearance for blood pressure. Makes alot of sense. Do not waste your time or money on this doctors office. Rude staff, dirty, ignorant and the doctor just needs to retire.
I am sorry to hear you have had bad experiences at the clinic. I will ask someone to call you on Monday and will talk to your provider. The Medical Assistants have not changed over a long time so I am unclear why you feel you are not seeing the same person. People do get sick and they also take time off.
Medical Assistants are matched with providers so that they can
work together each week and have been for sometime. So I am lost how to respond to that point. Also we have 3 providers. Dr. Bernal is family medicine, Dr. Allison is internal med, and Ashley is our FNP. All of the providers are highly experienced and can help you.
As far as the clinic being filthy I am not clear on what you are referring specifically too. It did take the building owner a long time to clean up after the winter storm. We have recently had the walls repaired, and ceiling tile replaced that had been missing.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say anything but good things about the Pasadena Health Center! Their staff are all incredibly kind and helpful, and they were even able to get me an appointment for the next day. I waited less than 10 minutes for my appointment after filling out my new patient forms and the front desk was very understanding and informative about my payment options. The nurse who took me back to the room and did my intake (I don’t want to post her full name but want to give her kudos, her last name starts with “J”) was so sweet and amazing at administering shots! The doctor fee was very reasonable as well. I truly received phenomenal service and will definitely be coming back for my future medical needs!
Fantastic experience: I have had several good experiences with the dental department at Pasadena Health Center. They work on a sliding scale and the care they administer is top notch. Very detail oriented and thorough. I’ve never felt so comfortable in a dentist chair than with Dr. Lissy John, and the assistants are comforting and kind, especially Ms. Esmeralda. The receptionist is super sweet too! Highly recommend this dental office

Negative experience: Turned away kids because they told me to be there at 2:45 and I was, in fact a few minutes early and said they couldnt see them because we were late... Front desk lady is a bit rude. Remember, we are the reason u have a job.

Fantastic experience: Currently I am recovering from COVID and have a little extra time on my hands, so I thought that I would share my experience of being a patient at PHC. I first went there when I had to quit my COBRA "benefits" which cost me $800/mo. I went there to head off a case of acute bronchitis. I am a Sepsis and Double MRSA Pneumonia survivor and bronchitis has to be dealt with early. Dr Ana Allison treated and cured me and in doing so, she gave me the same level, if not better, care as my previous primary care MDs. She is attentive, caring and experienced and I have continued to see her for another condition I have. In treating this condition, she has exceeded the level of care I previously received from an endocrinologist at a large, well known Houston area clinic. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Allison, she is dear to me. As far as the staff goes, I have been consistently treated in a fair and professional manner by all. Dr. Allison's nurses and medical assistants have all been fantastic. One lady who works there, Delores has been extremely helpful to me in a couple of instances and I am very grateful to her. In battling COVID, I ran out of a key medication I take and I needed this med to make sure my condition didn't make the COVID infection much worse. The folks at PHC came thru and got me a supply to hold me over and to I completely recovered. Even John, the CEO, assisted in this happening. Thanks so much John! I felt that I should share my experience with PHC because I don't feel that some of these reviews here are fair and accurate as to what kind of an operation the run. If you can effectively communicate with them, manage your expectations and get on the same page with them, you too will have a very good experience with them. They are a tremendous resource in the community, Thanks PHC!

Negative experience: Aug 18, 3:30pm, colud not see Dr because they already took in their last pt for the day (close at 5, :/) Aug 19, 8am, Cannot see Dr for throat pain without a covid test. Aug 19, 9 a.m., called severa times to seek an appt w/ o a covid test, but was put in hold, then, hung up on after @10+ calls. Aug 19, 10:53am, thx for the response, Desk staff on left window, said Dr would not see my 7 yr old daughter of i did not accept a covid test. It was my second try to see a dr. My son, 20yo, brought my daughter too, but was denied service yesterday at 330pm (no more patients for the day) I always recommend u but I can't at this time. I work at a pharmacy, i know what understaffed means, but service and courtesy are still possible, slow, but possible. No need to call me back. I don't feel anybody cares. Found a dr elsewhere. Thank you.

Positive experience: At first the lady at the counter was rude but when I called again, the young lady who answered the phone was really sweet. So was the nurse who helped my daughter and I along with Dr. Bill. He was so nice and funny.

Negative experience: Dr.Bernal was pretty rude to me and made a lot of unprofessional comments. Won’t ever go here again. Just because I don’t have insurance doesn’t mean I should be treated any different.

Positive experience: Me and my mom both go here and we both have Dr. Bernal. They are extremely friendly everytime we went and are willing to help those who are having financial issues. Dr. Bernal is a good doctor who actually cares about his patients and explains throughly what is going on. I would recommend these guys. Only reason this wasn’t perfect is I notice when I have appointments for example at 2:00 pm I’m still waiting until 2:45+. This is only an issue because I’m a college student and schedule my appointments around my class schedule and work schedule. Other than that, they’re great!

Negative experience: Two hours waiting for Dr. Carlos got here at 1:30 the appointment was at 2pm and after I try to get my money back and live. The pregnant lady put my Father in a for another 20 minutes. This building should be demolished asap. This place is worse then hospitals in latin america.

I do know that you were refunded your money. A supervisor does need to make that happen and I sorry you did not understand that staff cannot take on that task. We wish you the best.
Negative experience: They don’t answer the phone and when they do they are very rude and don’t help you at all. They don’t know what they’re doing I have been trying to get a referral for the past 2 weeks and keep giving me the run around saying I have to wait a whole week when it is urgent I make an appointment with the specialist. I’m so frustrated and will not recommend anyone to this place! Not professional people here!
Jessica I would need more information on what referral you need. Rudeness is not accepted so I am sorry for that. Sometimes referrals are held up by other doctors, insurance and with Covid a shortage of staff. Thank for for bringing this to our attention it will be addressed.
Fantastic experience: The receptionist that works with us in incredibly sweet and kind. She makes scheduling appointments very easy and I enjoy talking to her. We see the counselor Danny Edwards. He has been an absolute blessing. I have never had a good experience with counselling until now. Danny has been seeing my sons for a few months now. My 7 year old adores him and has felt much better during a hard time since we started visiting Danny. Danny plays with him so the visits are fun. Danny is patient, easy going, and relaxed. My son likes him so well he wants to stay longer. Danny gives great advice and he's very understanding. My 14 year old really likes him and says he's very easy to talk to as well. He said he felt a lot less stressed after his visits. I can't say enough about Danny. I definitely recommend PHC and Danny. Truly awesome guy.

Fantastic experience: I've been there twice and was taken care of. I mean you get what you pay for. It's suppose to be there to help us and that's exactly what they did.. I didn't have health insurance and was able to pay a very low office visit. The medicine was low also since they have thier own pharmacy. I went in for a earache a s second time a pain in my shoulder.. if you're looking for adorable, friendly people, I recommend this clinic.

Negative experience: I’m trying to get ahold of Emma and I have left messages and no response from no one that she is in a meeting and don’t know what time she will be back. Now I’m trying call and no one answers the phone. The owner told me to contact Emma but nothing. It seems that one wants to see my husband at this clinic due to that he does not have medical records so the girl that answered said that I have to go get them. Negative experience: Not happy because one person when answering the phone to make an appointment said just bring discharge papers and the day of appointment change and say no we need medical records. After reply from owner, the website said the clinic was supposedly open on Saturdays from 830-12 and when I got there today at 830 the clinic was closed and husband needed to see doctor this is strike 2. Why put that you are open on website and at the clinic and be closed.
Mr Flores I am sorry for the confusion. We would need discharge papers so that your provider knows what was done for you at the hospital. I have no idea why anyone would think that was not important. We can help you get your medical records it just takes a signed release form. If you would like to come in call Emma 713-554-1091 and tell her what you need. She is excellent and will take very good care of you.
Negative experience: This clinic is horrible. They waste your time, and money. They run all these tests just to tell u nothing is wrong or send you somewhere else. I recommend no one comes here if your actually looking to relieve your pain. They don’t care about you here
ASHLEY I am sorry you had a bad experience. Normally the run test to rule out possible illnesses. I am not sure what type of pain you are having or which provider you saw. Negative experience: First off I came to the office for my son's physical and the heavy set Hispanic or white lady said we don't have no appointments till next so I go home and a African American lady answers the phone and say they have appointments the next day so I was told if u have no income are less income it would be 20 dollars for the physical not it was 30 dollars and I didn't have it the lady say just reschedule so I use the restroom and we all know that a pandemic is going on so there is no soap and seat covers I called the main number and get told well that's maintenance so disgusted with this facility

But see if we can qualify you for the sliding fee scale and get you a discount. The bathrooms out front are controlled by the owner. The ones in our suite should have everything you need and if not I can assure you someone can find it. Fantastic experience: I am very grateful to find this clinic. I’m a new patient and filing paperwork was painless. Currently, I have no insurance and I was laid off. And they were able to help and see me. The front staff are so helpful! I’m very glad Dr. Bernal knows about hypothyroid, since that is the main reason I need to be seen. Great, funny Dr!

Negative experience: Don’t waste your time here like we did. The office visit is ridiculously $209. The service at the front t desk is horrible. I should’ve read other comments on review before setting an appointment. Like they could tell you this information when you make the appointment so you may come prepared or decide not to make the appointment.

Negative experience: If I could give a zero, I would! Imagine going to a new doctor and he comes in yelling at you before he even introduces himself. I went in feeling confident he was going to be my new PCP and left feeling extremely shaken and low about myself. He knows nothing about the autism spectrum either. That’s just a side note for those who need a doctor to cover that. I’m not going back. I know where to go to get better care. I just have to switch insurance plans. A pain that will be well worth it. Negative experience: The office staff is disrespectful, and incompetent in how to do their jobs. I am a single mom to 2 special needs boys, and forgot the insurance card at home, due to wrangling them together to get them in the truck for the appt. I know they can look up the info, and they stated they can, but instead told me they have to have the card every visit, physically in hand. My son really needed this appt, but because I forgot it, he couldn't. Looks like I have to find a new therapist for my child...again! I don't put up with idiots in a professional setting. Honestly, they shouldn't work in a professional setting if they cannot do their jobs , and accomodate parents sometimes. No one is perfect!

Fantastic experience: I had a decent visit to the doctors there but I just wish the offices had the doctor's name on itthat way it would have been easier to find where I needed to be at and I also wish the water fountains was working and I also wish y'all would have had a soda and snack machine that would be nice

Fantastic experience: I went to the mobile clinic earlier today because I been sick for almost a week, doctor Guillermo took his time with me, and explained my illness. Renay, and the medical assistant Belen were amazing, I paid a low cost to be seen and the MA also gave me a coupon to help me out with my medicine. I been taking the medicine they prescribed, and I am already starting to feel better. Thank you for your awesome service! You all are amazing!

Fantastic experience: Mr. Raphael was very friendly , works with everyone. The front staff are nice and welcoming as well. Counselor, Dr. Danny was really nice, easy to speak too, And has a funny sense of humor. Definitely recommending him and this office. First time visit went very well, same day appointment, little wait as expected at any physicians office. Very pleased with this office.

Negative experience: Worse doctor I’ve even been to he refused to run any test he would say that he knew I was doing great by just looking at me that I looked healthy I just wanted to get my annual check up he didn’t do anything it talk the whole time never going back.

Negative experience: Would give 0 if I could. I called Thursday to ask about getting a physical done i was told I could come in sat for walk in clinic. Then after waiting in line for them to open late they tell me they only do physicals mon-fri. At least 4 other people left as well and said they were told over phone they could do the physical today too. Wasted time.

Fantastic experience: Everyone I spoke to was incredibly courteous and helpful. The NP I spoke with, Ms. Buck, was patient and more than happy to answer all of my questions; she was receptive of my concerns, and addressed them accordingly. Mariah I am not understanding your rating of a 1 and question. Visits are based on Sliding Fee Scale, Co-Pays etc... A first time visit is $25.00 for the viist. Labs, medications etc... are extra.
Negative experience: !!DO NOT GO HERE!! Had an appt at 11:30 and at 1:45 had not even seen a doctor. Left in the room with no explanations or clue what was going on. This is the most DISGUSTING health care facilities I've every seen in my life! They do not clean the exam rooms after previous patients. There was DRIED BLOOD, IODINE, and BOOGERS on the walls, bed, and supply cabinets. An used ear tip with someone's wax and hair on it. Floor had built up dirt and dust bunnies as if it had not been swept/mopped in days/weeks. Broken/damaged equipment that a child could shock themselves if they got a hold of it. (Which they usually are curious about.) You go to the doctor to ensure your health is well or to get back healthy, not to catch someone elses diseases or problems. When I talked to the managers about the issues, they acted as if they didn't even care. I asked for my payment back and left. !!DESPICABLE!! Notified the health department and BBB!
Mrs Palmer I am sorry you had a bad experience. You stated that the managers did not care and that is "not" the case. The staff members that you talked to notified me immediately after you had left and were very concerned about what had happened. I am sorry that I was not able to talk to you direct, but you told them that you had another appointment and needed to leave.
Pasadena Health Center has a janitorial company that clearns the building at night. This is provided as part of our agreement with the owner. We also have staff members that make adjustments to the rooms during the day. You stated that we don't clean between patients and that is not the case.
You stated that we are the worse clinic you have ever seen and I am sorry that you feel that way. I can assure you had you just asked someone or told someone that you had concerns we would have addressed it immediately.
I am also sorry that you were left waiting for the doctor. Sometimes they get critical cases where patients have not taken care of their health and we have to refer them for advanced care at a hospital. The Medical Assstants should have let you known, and I have talked to all of them about not allowing that to happen again.
Negative experience: They didn't give me a diagnosis this time. I should've asked for my money back. I will not be returning. I'm really disappointed because the first time I came I thought "Wow they really helped me and were so nice" (except the front window lady) but once i finished the antibiotics, I was still in pain and I knew I didnt get the right diagnosis. So i go back to talk to them and this time everyone was so rude, like dang i should be the rude one since Im still sick after 2-3weeks but I'm not. smh So they were of no help. I asked the "doctor", so what is my diagnosis and she literally said she had no clue. Wanted to check for flu and strep and i denied it because my only symptom was my throat hurting and if I had strep the penicillin would've killed it. I even told her that and she was just saying idk and then asking if i had allergies and stuff. smh I left so upset.

Positive experience: Mr. Rafael is really sweet and explains everything when it comes to services. One of the assistants I don't know if she's s nurse or a medical assistant was also very helpful on my first visit. The only time I had a problem was when I went to get a blood test and the first desk girl got all my paperwork and told me last minute to pay cash. I had to go to the bank and get cash when she could have told me that in the beginning. I waited 20 minutes in the waiting room and during that time she didn't tell me anything. Recently though they have a new lady on the front desk and she is really helpful. Doctor Garcia is also really nice and I've had no problems with him.

Negative experience: I called asking to set up an appt for medical exam, and as soon as i said that i dont have insurance, i was hung up on. I called back and was told it was the phone lines. I asked if they do medical exam for immigration, and the lady said "i dont think we do that." Then she just stayed quiet on the phone. She could have said "give me a moment and i can find out", but instead she was quiet. So i said "okay then i guess dont worry about it" and she said okay. Usually clinics try to be more helpful to gain more business. Oh well.

Negative experience: If I could give this place a zero I would I’d suggest go to San Jose clinic much better and will actually be seen. By doctors I made an appointment here and the nurses seem like they don’t know how to make appointments came in and they had me as a walk in waited almost three hours ridiculous!!!! I asked to speak to a superior and they said that I would stil be a walk in the ignorance I’m here waiting with my baby I wouldn’t have came as a walk in stupid front desk whatever they are don’t know how to schedule properly do not come here horrible they have nurse practitioners seeing u not even doctors .
Yarami I am extremely sorry to hear how you were treated at the clinic. They should have allowed you to talk to someone. Also we have doctors on staff: Dr. Bernal is Family Practice with 32 yrs experience, Dr. Allison is Internal Med with 32 years experince and Dr. Wichelhaus is OB/GYN with 32 years experience. So we can get you to a doctor. David Garcia is a Family Nurse Practitioner and he is the only nurse practitioner on staff. If there is anyway you could let me know who talked with you I would love to get this situation corrected. This is not how the clinic is suppose to run. You can call and ask for John. If I am not in ask for either Diane or Rafael. We really want to get this fixed. I am at a loss what to do at this point but we really would love a chance to fix this for you. 713-554-1091 ask to speak to John or Diane. We will also try to reach out to you. Negative experience: Came in for an athletic physical and doctor told me I had a variety of diseases that I have no history of (Scoliosis, heart disease, muscle weakness which was appearantly caused by the flu I had over eight months ago, and very low body weight.)and therefore refused to sign the sheet of approval and to instead go to the pediatrician for a deeper evaluation. I’ve never had any of these conditions or have had any member from my family with a history of them. He also said that I needed a blood exam but it was too much for just a simple physical. Me and my mother thought that we were getting a good deal for $20 but instead proceeded to waste my time and the pediatrician’s. (We had to explain everything there and they were upset so much by it the nurse gave us the appointment for free out of her own employee discount.) We are self employed and can’t afford to waste nearly 5 hours (Or the outrageous prices for other services that this clinic had) that we could have used to get work done. The receptionist at PHC had an attitude and the staff just wanted money for unecessary tests and diagnosis. Never again coming back.
Jenny, I am sorry that you were not happy with what the doctor told you. First let me assure you it has nothing to do with money. Upselling or adding more test is not something we do to make money. Each month at Pasadena Health Center over 50% of our patients are self pay.
The sports physical is done to protect you. We do not want you playing a sport and becoming sick or worse. Our doctors would only order test if they felt like something was wrong. Normally a sports physical is very fast and most people are in and out. If you needed help paying for an additional service or could not have afforded it we could have helped you several different ways.
I appologize for the receptionist. I am not sure who you saw. At the end of a vist we ask people for comments and we take those very serious. I wish we could have talked before you left upset. I am not sure what we can do for you but if you wish to talk to someone please call Rafael Martinez or ask to speak to Emma 713-554-1091. We would love to try and help you. We really just want the best for you. We are not here for any other reason.
Fantastic experience: Came in for an appointment in their Dental Department with Dr. John. The staff in the dental office where very nice especially their Dental Assistant Esmerelda, she is one of the nicest people I've ever met. I definitely will be using their Dental center for the foreseeable future.

Negative experience: My appt was at 11:15am. They called me back at 12pm to get vitals and sat me in a room. It's now 12:21 and no doctor as of yet. So I've literally been here for over an hour and have only gotten my vitals checked. My daughter has an ortho appt at 1pm, I'm going to have to reschedule for a later time or cancel her appt. The nurse asked why am I here I said I have a couple of concerns...her reply was well what's your main problem that's what he'll be helping you with. So what about my other health issues I feel that they are all my main problems. Needless to say I'll be looking into other clinics. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you plan on spending the whole day with them.
Mrs Almendarez, I am so... sorry that you had to wait. Normally this does not happen. We have a survey that you should have been given at the end of your visit where you could have allowed us an opportunity to know your displeasure. Also, it you are waiting too long you can always ask for someone to help you. We also try to concentrate on what you "main concern" is so we know what you are requesting to be treated for. This is not to belittle your other concerns, but it is so we can treat what is most serious concern, and then work on other issues that are lower priority in future visits, or addressed at the time of your visit .
I do not know why you had a long delay I am so sorry this happened to you. This is not normal for the clinic and we would love a chance to talk with you further if you would like to come in. I am at a loss on what else I can do right now for you, but would love a chance to help you to have an excellent visit at PHC.
Fantastic experience: I was there today with my wife and she saw Dr Ana, the doctor went above and beyond her expectations, she listened, she was very sympathetic, my wife wasn't rushed, etc. The doctor got it right with the first medication prescribed, I was worried about getting a huge bill since my wife currently has no insurance, but it was the total opposite, thank you Ana!

Negative experience: Terrible! My mom went for her appointmet to get her high blood presure pills and a check up and the doctor(Ana Ruiz) didn't even bother to go check her signs or if she was feeling better with the treatment nothing!! Just gave her medication! As a doctor you should DO YOUR JOB and check your Patients! Nurses are nice(not Maria the front desk lady)! Ana Ruiz look more sick than the patients and never worry about her patients and asks the same questions, like thats why you need to READ the patients Report!! Nurses do BETTER job than her!

Fantastic experience: I am in between jobs and have no health insurance. I became ill earlier this week, and I didn't know what I was going to do. I was watching TV the other night and saw a commercial for the Pasadena Health Center. I went this morning, 1/11/2018, and was VERY pleasantly surprised at how kind, courteous, and professional ALL of the staff were, especially family nurse practitioner (FNP) David Garcia. He had a very thoughtful and sincerely concerned bedside manner and diagnosis. I definitely will be back. Thank you Pasadena Health Center and Mr. John Sweitzer.

Negative experience: PHC does not deserve not even ONE star, too bad I can't give 0 stars. Did you guys get a new receptionist because the one that you guys have, giving attitude and the longest waits, will drive all your patients away. That is why I will not ever go back again and tell my friends and family for PHC to be the last place to go. Nobody wants to deal with attitude. The receptionist needs a Customer Service class, she's too busy on the phone to take care of her job. When you go in she doesn't even check you in as she should, not until she's done with her personal business or she feels like it. The nurse asked me if I had just gotten there, and I said no it has Been over an hour, and there was only like one other person before I got there. The nurse didn't have any more patients, and she said that she would mention that to the Dr. But apparently they don't care about taking care of their patients, the receptionist is still there and hasn't changed. Maybe they just don't want patients, if so AWESOME, keep up the great work!!!!!
M Jimenez we are sorry to hear about your issues with the receptionist. There should have been a patient survey given to you before you left, if not I am sorry. We do take complaints seriously and we do talk to our staff when someone feels they did not get the best treatment. We would need to know who the receptionist was that upset you. We cannot just randomly fire or discipline people. I wish we could have talked to you before you left to have identified what the issues where and how we could have made your experience better. If you would like to come in and talk with us we would love to try and make your experience at Pasadena Health Center better.
Fantastic experience: The dental department is great here. I would recommend to anyone. I had two teeth that were extracted and the doctor and the two assistants did a great job. Very professional and courteous, also great on prices. 10/10.

Negative experience: This place is just awful, rude people. One nurse had came in & asked what medication i take, i gave her the name & then this other rude nurse came & asked what's the name again, do you have a picture in such a rude & impatient way. Would definitely not recommend.
My Staff contacted Isella to try and understand her issues and problem. She denied anything when they contacted her. We would love to correct this situation but cannot when people do this. We are at a loss on how to help her.
Negative experience: This has been the worse medical experience I've ever had. I had my appointment set for 10:30 am. I sat in the waiting room till 11:55 am. After asking multiple times when it was my turn, the response was always "you're next." The doctor did not come in to see me until 1:30 pm. She was with me for only about 7 min. If you can avoid coming here please do!!!

Positive experience: I had some frustrating issues with my children's CHIP insurance and many places no longer taking United Health Care through them. This is one of the few places that has a wide variety of insurances they'll take along with--from what I've both seen and read--help others with little to no insurance and work out affordable billing and payment plans with their patients. I had to take my 7 year old son here and while they do NOT do same-day-call-in-and-make-a-appointment, they do accept walk-ins before 4 pm. I expected a long wait and we were in the doctor's room within 20 to 30 minutes which is more than acceptable for a walk-in waiting time for me. My only reason for not giving a full five stars is while the doctor and nurse who worked with me directly were pleasant, most of the other staff were a bit rough around the edges or flat out ignored me while I was trying to turn in my son's insurance card for them to copy. I ended up standing at the receptionist window for some time with three women looking directly at me but never said a word until the main receptionist showed up again. Even a little "someone will be right with you" as confirmation you've been acknowledged goes a long way.
I am glad you used our services. I hope when you come back that you will have better experiences. We are constantly talking to our staff about giving good customer care.

Negative experience: on my last visit i waited 7 hours to talk to a doctor. I did not even talk to a doctor within that time frame. I was instead pawned off on a nurse practitioner. Every time I visit this place the only doctor on staff is doctor Allison. I have received nothing but contempt from this doctor, and I get mistreat by her every time I visit. please do not give these people any more buisiness.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Robert F. Hayden is the best internal medicine physician in the area. Office staff, and nurses are #1! Been a patient since 2012 and wouldn't ever think of switching unless I had to.
Negative experience: horrible service,doctors and receptionest. Don't know how to treat people and be professional. They don't care about the patients just about the paycheck is what it seems.
