Sanford Broadway Clinic door28: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Full service clinic with friendly staff, plenty of parking, and a pharmacy. The best thing is that it's on the north side of town. Not way out in the high traffic, poorly played out, suburban sprall where most businesses want to build.
Positive experience: All staff from surgeon on down were pleasant and helpful. I thought the rooms were adequate for one person. I remember when there were wards and then double rooms with jack and Jill bathrooms so basically 4 people were sharing a bathroom. Meals I had were good with lots of selection. I wasn't very hungry. Basically received good treatment and recovery in a pleasant caring atmosphere.
Negative experience: We were there for an appointment at 1115 got done and we had another appointment at 230 but I tried to get an earlier appointment if we couldn't then we were going to reschedule but the nurse told me to walk around for a little to get a early appointment but they sat us in a room which my mom was comfortable but we stay there for 3 hours what a waste of time.
Negative experience: ENT denied care without even seeing me with a referral for chronic ear pain and hearing loss. Both of my ears drums are ruptured right now as well.
Negative experience: The staff was pleasant (only reason I gave em a 2). But they did not listen to my health issues and I left with no meds. I have severe edema, oab (which none of them knew what it meant), a full blown rotator cuff, can't eat much, due to nausea. They thought I should only have extra strength Tylenol and I spoke to four different staff members. Wouldn't recommend this clinic, unless you want Tylenol.
Fantastic experience: Staff are pleasant Listen to what you have to say..... While being a patient on the Hospital Side: About 3 yrs ago I had to do a stayover for a bit. When the nurses heard me say I was a bit bummed because was my Birthday the next day, and was always celebrated with family. I woke to a Birthday ballon, a little candy bar and Birthday greetings. It was AMAZING. Be kind to your nurses and other staff.
Hello Deedy, thank you for your comment! We will share this with our team!
Fantastic experience: Great staff at the Hospice floor
Negative experience: The building is old. the elevators are old and don’t work half the time. All the employees are old and slow. Even the doctors are slow and old. Most of the patients there are old and slow so it’s hard to get around the place fast.
Fantastic experience: Is a great place for heath care needs and loved ones n families
Negative experience: I was referred to Sanford Surgery on Broadway from the Sanford Edith Breast Cancer Center for a surgical biopsy. The surgeon advised me to follow up in 6 months. He did say he would do it but didn’t feel it was necessary! He made me feel like I was wasting his time. I am now getting the required care somewhere else. It was a waste of precious time and money. I did not know this particular surgeon was God. My last mistake at Sanford Broadway. Would not recommend! **12/31/24 Update - After being diagnosed with invasive breast cancer, surgery, radiation and now adjuvant treatment. I want everyone to know that it’s crucial to get a 2nd opinion. Had I waited 6 months as the Sanford Broadway surgeon suggested (GK), my story would be much different today! PLEASE, PLEASE get a 2nd opinion! (3rd opinion if you still don’t feel comfortable). It’s your right, your choice, your life! I pray that telling my story will help and save others, no matter what cancer or health concerns they are facing. As far as reaching out to Sanford Patient Care - lol That was attempted before the first review. Patient Care - Phillip - does not speak English well, hard to understand and be understood. Requested another Patient Care person - denied!? When I contacted Phillip again, all I wanted was another surgeon to do the biopsy(without having to make another 4 hour trip for a consult that lasted 5 minutes after GK read my chart and decided I was low risk! Nope, Phillip wouldn’t do it as GK listed in his notes that I agreed to wait 6 months??! Which was incorrect. GK worded his notes to cover his own a_ _. So I thankfully sought care elsewhere, which probably saved my life! So again, please take my advice and seek health care somewhere else! Your life depends on it!

Negative experience: Terrible customer service
Negative experience: Moved here from out of state after I got a Job offer from a local university. It took over 30 days for me to get any response after I did a release of information from my previous doctor. Now the Stanford doctor I previously had is missing and a random doctor who I am assigned to now wants me to take a drug test so I can get the medication I have been taking for 19 years. I would not mind had I been told to get the test last month, but at this point I am done waiting and working with a clinic that clearly does not care about their patients. I suggest no one else waste their time here either.
Negative experience: When i had a loved one in the their care, she was treated improperly.

Fantastic experience: Extremely very well taken care of. Absouletly delightful.
Hello Izetta, thank you for your review. We will share this with our team!
Fantastic experience: I have been impressed with the care i have received over the years. This week got in within a day. The breast clinic did a great job, really like dr. Davis .
Hi Carol, thank you for your review! We will share this with our team!
Fantastic experience: Nice place for health care
Fantastic experience: Fabals
Fantastic experience: The nurses I had at the Sanford hospital on university when I was there are awesome keep up the good work you guys are amazing
Hi Soul Vigilante, thank you for your review. We will share this with our team!
Negative experience: I have POTS and I moved here from dallas for what I hoped was better medical care. Boy was the joke on me. Let’s just say they are out of ideas and don’t know what to do with me. That is simply unacceptable. We are talking about a supposed level one trauma center not Mayberry.
Fantastic experience: Sanford Clinic on Broadway has been very good to me. I've had a few appointments with different doctors and everyone has been so kind and caring.
Negative experience: Horrible experiences. Do not recommend. They do not listen to patients and have no respect for them. Save your time and go some place better!
Negative experience: Overpriced and unreliable. I really have nothing more to say.
Fantastic experience: They really got me in, and made certain it was all taken care of before I left.
Negative experience: I arrived as a fall risk in need of mobility aide. Ignorant staff repeatedly offering me help I didn't need and when I did need something they didn't know what to do but tell me to go elsewhere. I was harassed by security threatening me with trespass while waiting in wheelchair for my transportation home to arrive despite telling them this multiple times. As a patient, I did not feel safe here. I spoke to Deb with patient relations and her response to this concern - "What do you want me to do about it?". Appalling and insulting!
Fantastic experience: I had great care there after my same day surgery..2015..
Fantastic experience: There are 2 Broadway clinics and I have been to both. You need an appointment. There is special needs parking. There are restrooms but it is not equipped with a restaurant. The nurses and doctors are wonderful and have your best care in mind. They work with Medicare and supplemental medical care providers. Sometimes I feel like I'm just a "number" as in most facilities such as this but I do feel taken care of and that is the more important feeling to my mind.
Fantastic experience: Very friendly stuff....
Negative experience: Drove three hours for our appointment, stayed over the night before because we had an early appointment, and they called while we were in the parking lot to let us know our appointment had been canceled. The girl on the phone was not helpful and kept saying she could schedule our appointment for later this month or next month. No one seemed to care that we drove over two hours for this appointment and we're already there.
Fantastic experience: I just wanted to appreciate the staff at the sanford north fargo clinics and the south point clinic for their outstanding delegation to patient care they went above and beyond for me to get my physical done I am grateful for all you do keep up the amazing job.
Negative experience: Called this clinic and their rep MELINDA is very unprofessional, rude and does not care of how she talks to a patient! She needs to be fired!
Negative experience: I think I have had better service at fast food restaurants. I went to the Urgent Care clinic and after signing in at the desk the first time I wait for over an hour for them to call me name. I went back up to the desk to ask why it was taking so long and they made me sign in again. When finally taken to see a doctor instead of examining my symptoms he just made me take a Covid test. When they obviously came back negative because my symptoms didn’t match Covid they told me to wait for blood work… which took another 2 hours AND they messed up my results with someone else meaning I had to WAIT AGAIN. When I left they told me they would call with my results and never did. I went to a different clinic the next day and was diagnosed easy, correctly, and in a timely matter. I don’t think I will be returning because it was one of the worst experiences of my entire life. The staffing was inexcusably rude and under qualified to treat anything more serious than the flu. If I was dying I would have more faith in my downstairs neighbors to give me quality care over this place.
Positive experience: Went for surgery for son. Left home at 4am got there at 6.we got all checked in and sat in waiting area for half hour it was pretty busy. He went in. We asked how long it would be. Man at desk said he will be done by noon. Went to eat. Visit daughter. A nurse called and said the Dr would talk to us in or family area after surgery. Come back to hosp as text stated in pacu area. He wasn't in a room yet asked at guest services. Went to or family room. Hour and a half no Dr. Looked on screen seen the Dr started another procedure. We missed this meeting.went back to desk said he was waiting for a room. Went downtown. Came back he was in room. He said he felt good and his Dr said he had to stay until blood work is normal. Inspite of not seeing the Dr due too some confusion he is well. That is the best news and the hosp may need some remodeling. They were very full and busy. Well staffed and would feel good about medical care being great.
Negative experience: My mother was here and I can say there were a couple of good nurses but the rest were lazy! They did not provide her basic needs or care and I couldn’t get her out of there fast enough! I insisted she be released to me! The rooms were dingy and staff overall were terrible. Usually Sanford hospitals are awesome but I wouldn’t take my dog to this particular facility! I would also like to point out we were coming from 2.5 hrs away in the middle of a blizzard, we asked if we could still get my mother in for her procedure if we arrived an hour late since a lot of the roads were shut down. We were told no, don’t bother coming if we can’t arrive in time. We did arrive on time after traveling in terrible conditions and they got my mother in 3.5 hrs late! Yes 3.5 hours past her scheduled time! I guess only their schedules and time are important because they had no issue being late for us!!!
Negative experience: I have tried a few times with this clinic, moreso to have a general provider and easier access to my antidepressant (specifically fluoxetine/prozac). Coming out of a suicidal stint this medication has been the only thing letting me hold on. This clinic keeps rescheduling me and dragging me around, and still refuses to refill my medication. While the staff are polite, it's hard to believe it's anything more than a front. While I come off this medication and try to seek help elsewhere, I hope this can at least be a warning to other individuals with depression. Do not trust the broadway clinic, they will do their best to drive you back into whatever pit you've struggled to fight your way out of. This place wants you to suffer.
Negative experience: Do not recommend. No compassion, no common sense. Why can't you simply do your jobs properly ? I'm tired of this.
Fantastic experience: I went here with and for my friend William.
Fantastic experience: Impressed w/everyone's professionalism.
Fantastic experience: Everyone is so nice! I am the most scariest person on earth when it comes to needles. The nurses were very nice and help me to relax a lot. They didn’t leave no marks on me THANK GOD! I have been traumatized me at other hospitals! I went for a hysteroscopy D&C . I was put under general anesthesia. I was so scared but the doctors and nurses were so nice and helpful I DIDNT FEEL A THING. I had cramping on my upper thigh but as I walked to the pharmacy, it went away. Oh my neck did hurt a lil on one side, probably from the breathing tube and adjusting of my neck. Dr.Jacobson was my surgeon! Tracy did my iv and it’s been years sense nobody has bruised me ! Thank you TRACY! Oh yea The front desk sucks at giving directions! 801 Broadway N, Fargo, ND 58102 If your looking at the BREAST CANCER CENTER HOSPITAL, the address 801 is towards your left side of that building and door 1 of on the right side of the address when u see it! ITS NOT A LONG WALK TO THE BACK, don’t worry about driving up the ramp if u are already infront of the hospital! She gave me like 12 different directions and said it’s WAY IN THE BACK TOO FAR TO WALK .
Fantastic experience: I would recommend everyone and anyone looking for a great Peds Cardiologist to Matthew Trefts!
Positive experience: The rooms are tiny with no storage or place to sit. People or staff are rude and or nasty. Not a very clean place either.
Negative experience: I was in Sanford North Broadway for surgery and 4 days later re-admitted to the new Sanford in I94 in Fargo and the 2 are a difference of night and day. The care was even way better at the new Sanford. Biggest thing I struggled with is how run down the Sanford Broadway is. No soap or trash can in the bathroom, in 3 days my bedding was never changed, sinks and toliets all rusted out. I rarely got fresh water and had to ask for it repeatedly. My husband doesn't usually notice things but said what a dump it is. I felt like I was at a hospital in the projects. I have nothing negative to say about the new Sanford however. Care was exceptional and beautiful hospital. Sanford Broadway needs a total makeover. Even the floors are gross while walking in the hallways.
Positive experience: The People at the Clinic and Hospital are ABSOLUTELY Wonderful. On 3rd Floor. Ashley the Traveling Nurse at the Hospital is AMAZING! There is a Nurse at the Clinic side who is so Beautiful in Heart and Soul. (I was Really out of it so cannot remember her name). She stayed several hours past her shift to care for me and wheel me across to Hospital to my room and patiently waited until I was OK before she left. I could not have asked for a more Thoughtful or Warm Staff from the Ladies at the front desk, to the Man who gave me a ride in the Golf Cart and even John (he said he’s 87 but that’s hard to believe..he’s so energetic) the Gentleman who push my Wheelchair to the Clinic across the street. I even arrived WAY early for my Appointments and they got me right in… Great Food, Comfortable Bed, Good Temp in room. 4 Stars is due to the Lack of cleanliness of the Room and Bathroom… Toilet had NOT been cleaned upon arrival, Crud buildup along Floor edges and worse in corners. Cleaning girls came in today..took out Garbage, Wiped half of my Table down, Sink down and Syringe Disposal off. 1 of them PEEKED into bathroom then they left..Cleanliness is a must..To Me..
Fantastic experience: I like that they have valet service available!
Negative experience: Reception was very rude. Took a while to even speak to me. When I walked up I had to wave my hand for the lady to even tell me to hold on a second. She didn't even say hi. Then when I refused to disclose my employer she began giving me attitude and said I was the one being mean.
Hi Dustin, we're sorry that you did not have a good experience. We have shared this with the clinic director.
Fantastic experience: No wait. Ample parking. That being said, I had scheduled my appointment for the 1st one of the day before they get busy.
Thank you for your comment! We will share this with our team!
Fantastic experience: I loved it it was very clean I had a doctor's appointment and yes I will refer people to Sanford downtown it was great I'm switching from one clinic to Sanford downtown.
Fantastic experience: All the way up..
Negative experience: After driving 3 hours, an overnight in hotel we arrived for our cta, checked in, waited about 15 minutes then were told they couldnt do cta as they were out of contrast. We were sent to our cardiologist appointment early where we waited for an hour for the nurse to come get us. She did an ekgs then left. After 45 minutes still no dr. We asked but no clear answer. We finally decided to leave. Tried calling patient representative and got voicemail.

Negative experience: Katie Thielges Is easily the worst doctor out there. A family member of mine went to see her and she was immensely rude (body shaming and sharing that if they simply did more they would be better and it would be easy.) she was unprofessional, and body shamed like crazy. My family member (and all of us) will never be back and will be telling others to not go to her either. This was not Katie’s first time being so incredibly rude, and she asked my family member for a second chance and that she would be more kind and nothing changed. She should not be practicing medicine with how she treats others.

Negative experience: Would not recommend..they said a specialist would take care of my sharp pains in my left leg(thats the only problem i had with my body)...went there ,they prescribed me medication. Took it for about a week and now i have numbness in my right leg (toes) and i stop taking them and its been months already and i still have the numbness(feels like im stepping on rocks all the time)

Positive experience: Had to get some ibuprofen was close, not a bad price.
Negative experience: Waited 3 months for an appointment for it to be canceled 3 hours before it happens and rescheduled another month out. Terribly disappointed with the ability of staff to schedule patients to be seen in a reasonable amount of time.

Fantastic experience: Sanford nurse's did a great job of taking care of me when I was in bad spot I'm sorry I forgot you're name but I will find you and say thank you!
Negative experience: I hate this place. I've had some scans scheduled for monthsand every time it's a day before the appointment they pick a new time for me as if I'm available whenever tf they please. It's embarrassing and only keeps me in the dark on what I might have going on

Fantastic experience: No waiting, staff directed me where to go
Hello Tim, thank you for your comment! We will share this with our team!
Fantastic experience: Recently I needed to have surgery on my lower lip. I was referred to Sanford by the VA since they did not have an attending surgeon that could perform the procedure. Every staff member, from the front desk to the nurses and doctors, everyone, performed professionally and with the attitude that they truly care about patients and what they are doing. I saw a staff that is relaxed, friendly and very efficient. It's a tough job and I am grateful to have been in their hands.
Fantastic experience: Thank you to Jean who was very kind from the beginning of our interaction to it's end.
Fantastic experience: Over the last 2 yrs my husband and I have been to Sanford Broadway about a dozen times. Courteous staff and waiting areas, hallways, elevators never over crowded. Department s he has needed were well staffed. Have had Good access by phone in discussing appointments.
Fantastic experience: They really do listen and take goos care of you
Negative experience: If it wasn't bad enough the ER sent me home with life threatening injuries that ended up in emergency surgery ten days later....their care after surgery was absolutely insulting. Rude staff, denying perscribed medications on time just days after major surgery, and having to call a charge nurse twice just to get care at all....I can't believe they can sleep at night knowing how poorly they treat the people they took an oath to protect. These clowns have no idea what they're doing. I would give them zero stars if I could. Y'all ruined my life. Thanks for being the worst hosbital I've ever been to. I'll send EVERYONE anywhere else. Middle fingers to you Sanford. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Negative experience: This was the worst experience of my life. We showed up on time for our appointment mind you we were lost because we live over an hour away. I asked the guest service guy to call and tell them we were on our way now that we had to venture all the way threw the clinic because we came in the wrong door. He then told us it will be okay just fallow his directions and we will get there. We showed up 7 minutes late for the appointment after walking there and they said the will not see us. The receptionist was cranky and had no sympathy. Mind you they called and cancelled this appointment last week about 3 hours before the appointment time so this is the second time it was rescheduled. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.
Fantastic experience: Fast good
Fantastic experience: Very friendly and professional
Fantastic experience: Saved my bacon... Now in 2nd stage and this review is for Gr#$@ in Urology! Wow - I can’t say enough - 10 Stars! Empathy, professional, compassion and skills... She should get a promotion - a raise...run the floor!!! Truly made a huge impact in my treatment!
Negative experience: I just went to see my sister. She was crying in pain and upset because the Dr yelled at her and told her to stop crying. Then the nurse said people have to many rights. I witnessed the nurses yelling at her and being unprofessional in what kind of things they said to her. I'm disappointed in this hospitals bed side manner completely. I don't think they should be yelling at any patients. I went to see her because she was afraid of the Dr not listening to her concerns. They acted and talked to me professionally but couldn't do the same for a patient.
Negative experience: They said to be here around 1 for surgery and still haven't gotten seen and its almost going on 5 pm..
Fantastic experience: Excellent care before & after surgery.
