Fantastic experience: I have been going to get the b12 injections and the staff is always so friendly and the environment is very chill and clean! Diana is usually the one that gives me my injections and she’s really sweet and gentle! And the injections do work if you put in the work as well with diet and exercise! I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to lose weight & get healthy! I wish they were open on saturday's now that i am working full time mon-fri I'm unable to go in :(

Fantastic experience: Weight loss MD San Diego was referred to me by a local group on FB. I’m so glad I found them as I hit a plateau losing weight. They are a huge blessing and I highly recommend!! I was kinda hesitant going on in because I’ve never needed help losing weight. (Aging is inevitable) But, the staff was nice and accommodating so it wasn’t awkward. It’s been 3 months, I have a lot more energy and the motivation to exercise… and I’m almost at my goal weight. Thank you!!!!!

Negative experience: I've been to this location before and im a very patient person but I was scheduled for an appt at 445 and it is currently 5:14pm... that should already tell you the issue but I waited at the front desk for over 10 mins without a word said to me.... this new front desk staff isn't as good as the usual ones I've encountered. You can sense there stress and business strictly from how unorganized the whole experience has been.

Negative experience: The front desk receptionist, black lady named ANGEL with short hair, acts like she’s nice but in reality she isn’t… PLEASE FIRE HER!!!! She’s got a HORRIBLE ATTITUDE! EXTREMELY RUDE!!! GHETTO!!! I don’t understand how this woman got this job, No people skills, No clerical etiquette, she makes patients feel uncomfortable, she looks like she hates her job, who hired her by the way? You guys need to replace her, or little by little you’ll start loosing business. I was just there yesterday, she knows who I am. Treated me very disrespectful trying to deny me service, just because I told her how it is, she kept me waiting and waiting, I was having trouble with the forms they want you to fill out electronically, she wouldn’t help me, instead she kept ignoring me acting stupid, until I came and told her something, I guess she didn’t like the fact I put her on check! She try to manipulate the situation and turned it against me, accused of being rude. She Try Deny me for a service? Why? I didn’t do nothing wrong!! Negative experience: Horrible place and incredibly rude unprofessional and unpleasant people working here. I was interested in B12 shots for fatigue and a little boost and instead I got treated terribly and wasted my time. Place looks sketchy and I left with ought even meeting the doctor because if they have people like that running the front desk who knows what kind of questionable characters are running it. Negative experience: The receptions with blonde short hair ( she looks dirty it looks like she does not shower by the way ) with the piercings in her nose and I guess it looks like a red tree to her right forearm . Fantastic experience: Called to schedule an appointment since my Groupon was about to expire. A couple days before my appointment, had to reschedule- actually got one the very next day! Professional, friendly, and genuinely caring staff. Injections are quick and painless. Will continue coming here.

Negative experience: I had been coming to this clinic for years. I bought a Groupon over 90 days ago and I was told because I came in past the 90 days, the 3 B12 shots I had left have now expired. I’d been to this clinic 2 other times within the last 90 days and was told they were out of the shot and another time they showed up 30 minutes late from their opening time of 10am. I left during work hours to come here and now have lost money due to their negligence and unprofessionalism. I do not recommend anyone wasting their time coming here.

Negative experience: They changed my appointment to a day I have to work, it was less than 24 hours before the appointment. If I canceled less than 24 hours before an appointment I’d lose my payment. Negative experience: I bought a Groupon last September. Multiple times they did not have injections available so I had 6 left by November. I then broke my ankle and was unable to drive for months but when I called to ask about my Groupon I was assured it didn't expire. When I could drive I went to use it, on several occasions, and they were closed. Now that I want to use it they said it has to be used in 60 to 90 days and I lost my injections. Not an honest business and I will not return. I had many problems before but do to good pricing always returned. Now I will not.

Negative experience: Do not waste you’re money here, it’s not worth it. The staff is super disrespectful, makes the experience not even worth it.. Also if the Provider doesn't show up they don’t even call you to let you know until you get there then they ask you to reschedule with an attitude , DONT give them you’re money DONT If you see a 2.1 Review take it serious, if I could give it negative stars I would.

Negative experience: The owners make up rules that don't abide by California law, and California weights and measures laws. The staff is always turning over. They are unable to keep items in stock for the purpose of even coming to this place. I miss the young girl that kept everything moving, less than 10 minutes in and out for a shot. She went on vacation and never came back. They have no HVAC in the office. Guess they don't want to pay the bill for it. Most of the time the staff they have administering the shots do it wrong as I now have nerve damage. The low prices are the only reason I've come here. Poor business practices.

Negative experience: I think this business has closed. I am just leaving thier building after waiting 15mins outside the door. There is a sign apologizing for being short staffed and UPS delivery stickers on the door from January 12. I tried calling but the message says they are outside working hours. This is my third time dropping by for my B12 shot and the office has been closed each time.

Negative experience: Inappropriate and false advertisement. This place is closed for more than a month and they charge your money or and groupon. It needs to be known, advertised and reported, and yes when they were open they didn't care about quality of service and waiting times...

Negative experience: I purchased a Groupon in 2020. I went in and paid for three months of the diet pills. At the end of my appointment, I was not given the medications because of my blood pressure. The woman that charged me said they would keep my payment for my future appointment. I have not set an appointment due to my work schedule. Now that it's closed, do I get a refund? Who do I contact? It was $130.00, and no one answers the phone. Horrible just horrible.

Positive experience: Is this place closed? First time I went I waited an hour but it was okay - sometimes practices get behind and they were super nice at my appointment. I just wanted the b12 injection and got it that day. I wanted to schedule to return in a week or two but they said "just come in anytime for a b12 injection" fair enough. It takes less than 1 min. Well I called a week later and was told to come in. When I got there, door was locked, and a sign said "no injections available". Since then I have returned on 3 separate occasions with a sign saying "closed due to staffing issues". The last time people had written on the sign the date, time of scheduled appointment, how long they waited. There were also several UPS stickers saying "we missed you...." lol apparently they haven't been in for a while now.... so are they closed?

Negative experience: I bought a package and wasn't able to use all of my package. They were either out of the B12 shots or closed. They don't answer the phone so you have to drive there. The office girls are rude. Today after calling for a couple weeks I decided to drive there again to find the door closed and so many notes left on the door from unhappy customers in the same boat as me. The website is gone so maybe they have closed the business.

Negative experience: I have Been coming here since spring 2020. Never had any terrible issues besides their lack of organization at times. I bought a Groupon the end of July and was told I didnt qualify for phentermine. At the time, they said i can come back and get it if i qualify. Well, unfortunately i gained I few Extra pounds over the holiday season. I called Monday to confirm that i can Still pick up the phentermine with my unused portion from Groupon and the receptionist also agreed i could but not use the shots since i only had 90 days to use. I came In today and they said there were no notes on my account and in fact that i did qualify at the time. They couldn’t give me the pills due to lack of notes in their end. I am out of my portion of the Groupon i purchased Due to lack of communication and training between all the different staff members that they have had. I’m very disappointed that everyone i have communicated to doesn’t know procedures.

Negative experience: It started a couple years back. I found a Groupon and decided to try it out, first for B12 shots. When I would call to make an appt I would be told I could come in anytime during business hours. This is not true as far as the office personnel say. When I would arrive it would be the wrong day or time, even after still calling and asking what days. Made several wasted trips. The people who answer the phones do not communicate with the office, or are not trained well. But I tried to be patient. One day while there I saw the video for BioTe. I started menopause so I thought I would take a chance and try it. Again some scheduling and communication problems, but they had no problem taking my money! So it helped for a few months and I called to see when I need to come back only to be told they would contact me and it was too soon. I had it done in January Starting to feel bad I called them 8 months later and I of course needed a new blood draw to have it done. I made an appt but it was for the following month. A couple of days before the appt I received a message telling me my appt had to be cancelled, so I told my work I was available, only to receive a text message and email reminder the day that the appt was confirmed. Confused I called only to be told I could come in any time for “just a blood draw”. So on my next opportunity I stopped in on my way home, 1:30, only to be chastised by the office/nurse that I needed to have an appt and needed to be there before 2:00. I was there at 1:30. Then she was irritated and wanted to take blood from less convenient location on my arm and left a big bruise. Then weeks go by and I hear nothing! So I call them and nothing, again. I call again and still nothing. Leaving messages for no one to get back to me. Again I call and leave a frustrated message about all this and finally get a call back, 2 months later, that they do not even have a person certified to do the BioTe, and will be calling me. Still nothing. Today, practically 2&1/2 months later, I call them to find out where we are now only to be told I can go to the LA office. No I can’t! So I ask for a refund of my $40 for the blood test. They can not refund me and I paid for something I never got and can’t use, since it was so long ago I would have to have it redone anyway. WHAT A SCAM!!!!! So unprofessional and a waste. Do not spend your money! I am so damn angry!!

Negative experience: I agree with the most recent review. Very unprofessional, although the front desk people are ok, they don’t greet you when you come in. How am I suppose to know what to do or who to speak to if I don’t get welcomed or told what papers to grab. Find another place, there are many, and this place has a habit of sending appointment confirmation t txt just to cancel the day of. Save your money, don’t come here.

Negative experience: I gave 2 stars because the doors are open and you will be seen. No one is really nice. I paid $180 for a BioTe lab in July & was told by the doctor I’d hear from her by the end of the week. Never did. So I called the following week and left a verbal message with the ‘receptionist’. The following week, I received a voicemail from the doctor with no results, just wanting to discuss my results and to call her back. There’s no way to contact these people. There’s no email. Rarely do they ever answer the phone. There’s no way to leave a voicemail. Basically they’ll take ur money, but services are not offered. I wouldn’t trust them with a real medical procedure.

Negative experience: I bought a Groupon for Weight loss San Diego MD and have been trying all day to book my appointment. In order to book online you are required to submit a payment (doesn’t take Groupon) and when I call, I have been waiting over 15 minutes with no response, only elevator music playing. Still haven’t spoken to anyone. Not a good start!!

Positive experience: Every time I go I am treated very nicely, except with one of the ladies at reception. Guess I just get on her nerves. I'm surprised that when I call I'm not getting an answer. Usually there's no wait time when calling them. Over all it's a good place with good friendly people.

Negative experience: I had a Groupon for a one month weight loss program. This is my second Groupon with the company. I think they have issues with people actually using their Groupons. First of all, the mask mandates are back in effect. I did not have a mask. They asked me to put one on. I told them that I was vaccinated but did not have a mask. The receptionist on the left handed me one. Before I could put it on, another girl to the right of her ask me to put one on in such a rude manner. Unbelievable. I told that I had one and was about to put it on. That was one of the first rude people behind the desk. There are about 7 people working back there. Ally was VERY rude as well. They all spoke spanish to each other which is very rude to do in front of patients. Speak english to each other. Why would you not? Shaniah took my BP and weight. She was so nice! Very professional and nice. Thank goodness they have one nice person there. When "nurse" Holly came in, she asked a few questions but focused mainly on the fact that I had been to another weight loss clinic in May. I said...Yes, I probably need a year's worth of weight loss clinics. What does it matter? I told her that I also have a friend that is a nurse. She grilled me about whether or not she is an LV, RN. Wanted to know where she works because she lives in Carlsbad. It was all very strange and unprofessional. I told her that I no live in north county so I do go north to see her. She then told me that "It's not that far", that I should drive. What in the world? After the rude front desk people and now her, I asked who owns this office and I wanted the names. She told me that she didn't know but thought it was Darrin McFarland. She said he is NOT an MD. She also said there is a Director running the office. I asked if she was a Doctor and she said no. It was all so very strange and she was very rude. I WOULD NOT recommend this office. They are so rude. Where is the Doctor that owns this office? Who is running it? When I googled the address, a nurse comes up as the occupant as of April 2021. I also was told that the doctor who owns the place lives in Colorado. That he has a clinic in Los Angeles and that they have closed their Chula Vista and all other locations due to Covid. As soon as I find out the real name of this clinic, I will be writing the BBB.

There is another clinic that has a name that is similar to ours which seems to cause a lot of confusion. I am very sorry about your bad experience, with our Nurse practitioner.  She is no longer with us.  I will be more than happy to answer any questions that I can.  The owner of the clinic owns a house in Lajolla about 15 min away. She is an MD that is a very busy Board-certified Internal Medicine Doctor.  Currently she doesn't own a office in Los Angles or Chula Vista. There is a Medical Director that oversees the office which isn't the owner but is a MD. It sounds like you have been given incorrect information for the Nurse Practitioner.  I am very sorry for the confusion. I will make sure that it is addressed with the owner

Fantastic experience: I’m the first person to gripe if I’m unhappy, so this is the honest truth. These ladies are always friendly and the doctors take the time to explain everything. If you’ve had a bad experience in the past, please give them another shot. They’ve made great strides!

Negative experience: I could not bare to be in this office again. It is so hot in this clinic you’ll feel like you’ll pass out. I don’t know why they don’t turn up the AC, not to mention it’s supposed to be cold and at a certain degrees in clinics especially during covid. Germs spread faster in the heat and that clinic is way out of line hot. DO NOT come here you’ll get sick.

Negative experience: I was going to wait to write this review because I figured I should just wait till after I’m done with the shots but each visit gets worse and worse. I drove over an hour away just to get to the office to see a note saying they’re not in? Really? First visit, there were 5 loud gossiping girls and not a single one could make it to work? How about an email or message saying the office is closed instead of waisting peoples time? Not to mention these “doctors” know very little about what they’re actually doing! They read they’re printed paper word for word and can’t answer simple weight loss questions! They just say “well look at number 10 it tells you to do this” seriously? I work out six days a week eat right and haven’t noticed a difference once I started the meds and shots. Save your money, save your time, go to REAL professionals and go to the gym. I wanted to shed a few extra pounds quicker for a wedding and I was skeptical but figured I should try anyways! Wrong decision!!! This whole process has been ridiculous.

Negative experience: Groupon Fraud by Weight Loss . They redeemed my Groupon and then told me that I did not qualify . They say to tell Groupon that I did not qualify . I reach out to Groupon and they tell me that I have to contact the provider because it had been redeemed . Weight loss are a scam !!!

Negative experience: A few staff members failed to wear their masks at reception for more than just breather periods. Also reception staff is very loud and spent a lot of time laughing and talking. The walls in this practice are thin as it is, just very unprofessional. Its difficult as a patient to to focus on their appointment when all of this is going on. It sounded more like a lunch lounge room than a medical office. Everything else was fine.

Fantastic experience: Front desk staff is kind and thorough, the nurses walked me through the whole process. The first visit took about 45 minutes which wasn't bad at all considering they were very busy. Then when I went back for my second round of B-12 it only took about 5 minutes of waiting before my name was called. I received my shot and was on my merry way. Overall great experience and kind staff. Glad I found them through Groupon.

Fantastic experience: Honor the groupon coupons no issue, can re buy after 6 months. I have been going for about a yr now. The are polite, respectful, responsive to phone and email.

Negative experience: Had my 2nd run in with this Hispanic female..they wanted me to wear a mask for the virus..i don't have one but brought a scarf..she was being mean (again) but saying it was company rules..i definitely want to follow the rules but her meanness a 2nd time was enough for me..(last time she gave me a needle in the lower glute just for spite after I told her the other lady did that and it hurts) ..no one else working there does lower glute..she didn't til that day...im done with this place. I'm home. Re-read Gov Newsoms virus mandate. Not seeing anything that says customers have to wear a mask. Nothing on the weight loss website about it either. I left a message for the owner letting him know she is turning customers away if they don’t wear a mask. I hope to hear back from him. I want my money back.

Negative experience: I love how this place doesn’t tell you you’re too old for their program until you purchase a groupon, drive over there, fill out all their paperwork, wait to be called and then “oh you’re over 65, you’re too old”. Ok I want my money back. “You’ll have to take that up with Groupon”. Ugh

Negative experience: i got there at 12:02 and walked in after driving around the parking lot for 15 mins looking for parking!!! and the girl opened the glass window and said “we are at lunch. we open up again at 1pm” i was FURIOUS! 2 mins?! she couldn’t help me out! plus every time i go, they don’t weigh me... it seems like a rip off!

Negative experience: Complete waste of time. I emailed a copy of my voucher ahead of time to the office to make sure that they could accept it because I know sometimes these sorts of places don't accept the Groupons. Received no response so I attended my appointment at 5:45 p.m. as scheduled. Mind you this is not a short drive for me as I live in East County and it took me 45 minutes after work to get to the office. When I arrived I began the paperwork process and sure enough the girl at the counter said there was an issue with my Groupon. Initially she said they could still see me and they would work it out with Groupon later so she had me start on a lengthy packet of in-depth medical history. Once the packet was complete and I turned it in 30 minutes into the paperwork process she informed me that she had spoken with her manager and they not only could not honor the Groupon but they would have to charge me the $40 in house if I wanted to keep the appointment and be seen. Because I had received a discount from Groupon that was more expensive than what I was willing to pay and I had already been double-charged by Groupon in the first place for the appointment so I didn't feel like being charged 3 times for the service that I wasn't even receiving yet. The office could have avoided this whole situation and saved me the time and gas if they would have responded to my initial email with these details, and if she had told me from the beginning that they wouldn't see me I wouldn't have wasted my time and efforts in the office of filling out the paperwork. overall this seems like an attempt to charge me an additional $40. I won't be going back and I recommend other people to avoid this company. I have been to other medical offices in the past and never had this issue. Groupon buyer beware!
