Fantastic experience: Man…my upper back and shoulders were messed up for a few months. I couldn’t get comfortable at night while sleeping and even daily tasks were becoming annoyingly difficult. I couldn’t figure it out. Went to Dr. H twice and he worked his magic. Then I went to the massage therapist (Melanie) and she finished up the fix! I couldn’t believe it. Fantastic experience: Dr. H is a lifesaver! I have been going to a chiropractor since I was 15 years old due to one leg being significantly longer than the other. My hips are constantly out of alignment because of that. He is the only doctor to show and explain why something hurts and how he fixes it. I have been exclusively going to his practice for 4 years now. He can take away any pain in just one visit. I have gone into his office hunched over in pain and left standing up straight again. Highly recommend Dr. H for any body pain.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had such a positive experience with sound body chiropractic! I cannot say enough about the staff for both chiropractic and massage care!

Negative experience: There were both pros and cons: I was scheduled for a 90 minute massage and I was under the understanding that it would be a 90-minute regular massage. The masseuse worked with clothes on (which was fine) and this was a massage to relieve pressure points - and I felt really good leaving, a lot of my soreness was relieved. Cons - the manager is unprofessional. I overheard in the lobby talking about clients and the business overall and swearing. Someone also walked into the room during the session The masseuse also talked a lot with hands which took away from the massage experience (but the pain was relieved). I was supposed to go back for my chiropractic assessment but the lack of unprofessionalism is what's deterring me from going back.

Positive experience: Doctor is awesome receptionist mike is rude and a bad attitude

Negative experience: I wouldn’t recommend to anyone looking for someone skilled in pediatric care. I felt the Dr was pretty rough with my 9 week old considering he uses the Logan Method. He also assumed that my baby had colic because she was crying and fussy in his office. She was not a colic baby as described based on length of crying and being consoled. She was fussy and not sleeping and that is why I brought her in. Please do more research if you are planning on pediatric care at this office. Based on my experience I’m not convinced that he works with many babies or mothers.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been suffering from back pain for more than 2 years and was seeing 3 different back surgery doctors who are well known in the city. At the same time, I went through 100+ chiropractor's office visits and 100+ physical therapy sessions. I was a full-time professional patient. All the doctors I was seeing had all different opinions to fix my back problem and all of those doctors have suggested different types of surgery, fusion, disc replacement, those steroid injections, etc. I’ve spent days and nights finding information about those surgeries, their recovery periods and all of that while suffering so much pain in that period until I found Peter. He found my problem while other doctors want to do surgery in completely wrong places, with wrong recommendations. If I hadn't found Peter I'd probably still be in pain and all those surgeries wouldn't have worked and I would still be in pain. Because they couldn’t diagnose right in the first place. They looked at my MRI and said "Oh you need surgery.". If you’re suffering from back pain, neck pain whatever you’re going thru right now, do yourself big favor before pulling the trigger to have surgery and make an appointment to see Peter. He will enhance your life and tell you about the truth whatever issues you have and he will go above and beyond to help you and make you feel good again.

Negative experience: For price to adjustment satisfactory ratio, this was probably one of the worst adjustments ive ever had. I have had over 200-250 adjustments ever since i was 16 years old. Cost $125 for not even a full body adjustment. The problems i went in for, ive had in the past and places like "The Joint" did a better job of adjusting me than this place. The doctor couldnt adjust my shoulders, ribs, or neck. He barely moved my neck at all to adjust it and then tried to tell me i needed multiple visits to get fixed. Would spout words like "theres one" to make it sound like things are moving but just being misleading with his words. Out of all the adjustments ive ever had, he the first to start you face up. Doesnt even start you face down to check your spine at all. Imagine paying $125 to not get your pain spots properly addressed. He also claims to be an occipital adjustment but his version of this doesnt get anything moving. Its basically just a head tug vs a maneuver to move any joints, not a head hug maneuver. The doc there is more talk than walk. Wont be tryin this place again, even if offered a comp.

Fantastic experience: I recommend Dr. Halvorsen. He has been seeing me for 1.5 years through a pregnancy and postpartum. The staff is kind and helpful. I find the office conveniently location, easy get an appointment at a good time, and great care.

I have been to many chiropractors over the years, and they would just do the same thing every time, Dr Halverson really works with you and your body to find out what is wrong, as I like to say he has a magic touch! Fantastic experience: Chiropractic and Wellness Specialists have me feeling like me again! I had chronic pain since 1999 and after seeing Dr. H and Lynn I can now say "chronic" is gone. They are close to home and easy to schedule. Both Dr. H and Lynn are good listeners and on target with diagnosing issues. The services provided are actually effective! Feeling the results are awesome. I would recommend CWS because they are genuine, caring professionals without pressure or judgement. I only wish I had discovered them sooner!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Halvorson, in 1 session, corrected significant long-term alignment issues for me. I had been using a cane, now I walk evenly without pain. In a couple more sessions I am stabilizing with good posture and amazing reduction in pain. A problem in my foot, from 13 years ago, has been fixed. Overall, in 4 sessions, Dr. Halvorson has changed my life so that I can work on regaining strength and return to an active lifestyle.

Fantastic experience: Great place for quick adjustments. I did not see long term results after going for about a year. The Dr. did get me out of some severe back pain. Also a wellness clinic which they will let you know about.

Fantastic experience: In the last two years I've been to several chiropractors about lower back pain and was told it was due to a torn ligament, and that I should consider pain management (epidural shots). I'd pretty much given up, and was expecting I would eventually need surgery. I went in to see Dr. Halvorson about a pinch in my neck and told him about my back pain. With in 4 visits he adjusted my pelvis, which relieved the pressure on my lower back and now I'm not in pain for the first time in a long time. Bonus, my neck also feel better. Looking forward to golfing again!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Halvorson is a dedicated professional at work! As a healthcare provider myself, I am astonished w the way he relays client education. I went mostly for my neck popping but I broke my arm when I was 2 and didn't have to tell him before he noticed displacement. I felt amazing after the initial adjustment and plan to continue treatment. Only regret is that I did not seek his care sooner.

Fantastic experience: I have slipping ribs and my hips and pelvic are off set due to a car accident making one leg shorter than the other. I came to the right place! Dr. Halvorson's work was like magic! I was waiting for the rabbit to jump out of the hat! :) But, in all seriousness, my hip pain has gone away, my legs are the same length and my ribs feel so much better! I'd recommend him to anyone!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sara is amazing and I highly recommend her. She has worked with my whole family. She has worked on our necks, backs, thumb and overall wellness needs. She also does sports physicals for youth players. She takes the time to listen to what the needs are and work through them. She has most recently helped me with immune support as the cold season is approaching. She doesn't require you to sign a contract, she wants what is best for her patients. THANK YOU Dr. Sara!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Halvorson saved my wedding! I hurt my back about a month before the big day and didn't know if I'd ever be able to walk or stand up straight again. He came strongly recommended by close friends and he greatly improved my back pain during my first visit. By the 2nd and 3rd visit I was almost back to normal and by the wedding I had forgotten my back hurt in the first place! I see Dr. Halvorson regularly now to keep my spine aligned and have never felt better and stronger. He honestly cares about your overall well being and takes time to get to know you. He also tells you what adjustments he's making and how they work to improve your daily functions. It's amazing. Fantastic experience: Dr. Halverson has literally "saved" my lower back many times from various physical injuries due to all of my activities! He had also corrected my pelvis from being out of alignment on numerous occasions which in turn, causes severe pain in other areas of your body from running, biking, skiing on a "lopsided" lower body! I love my orthopedic doctors, however, my severe pain was caused by my skeletal structure being, and continuing to get out of proper alignment!(ortho said it was just degenerative bones in my lower spine causing arthritic pain) I had literally hugged him after my first visit last year for the pain was immediately gone! He is SO incredibly knowledgeable, not only with your bone structures, but your muscles as well and how bones out of alignment impact specific muscles! Highly recommend his services!!!

Fantastic experience: I work in healthcare and I put a lot of effort into finding good care for myself. 10 years ago I crushed 9 vertebrae in my back so finding good chiropractic care has been a big factor in maintaining my active lifestyle. Dr Halvorson has an incredible gift that I've seen in few other chiropractors (and I've seen a lot of them). He has the ability to pinpoint my issues with minimal input from me and where other docs may leave me sore from over adjustment, I feel great the next day.

Fantastic experience: I can honestly say Dr. Halvorson is the best chiro I've ever been to. My previous chiropractor had me coming in multiple times per week and he'd do the same upper body adjustments every single appointment. I asked this previous chiro if he could look at my hips since that was one of the reasons I was seeking chiro care in the first place, but he said he wanted to get my neck corrected before looking at other parts of my body! Dr. Halvorson is the complete opposite of my former chiro. He doesn't want to see me multiple times a week! He adjusted my hips two times and I feel great. He listens to me describe any issues I may be feeling with my body and the face to face time with him has been as long as 30 minutes. I've recommended Dr. Halvorson to my boyfriend and other friends. I really do believe he is the best chiropractor I've ever been to.

Fantastic experience: From an email I sent Dr. Peter Halvorson after my second visit: I just wanted to tell you that I went back to the gym today for the first time since seeing you this week and I can't tell you the last time I remember being able to move so well! I've spent the last several years attending fitness classes and wondering why everything hurt and why nothing was ever improving. Today, I was able to kick higher, to jump and to raise my arms above my head (something I haven't been able to do in ages). I can't believe I see such a huge improvement after only two sessions with you! It's like not being able to see properly but not realizing it until someone gives you glasses. Fantastic experience: I have received chiropractic care for the past 10 years since a sports injury in high school. Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Hahler are the best chiropractors that I have visited. I am extremely particular about the chiropractor care I receive and the amount of time and attention my Dr. provides for each treatment. Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Hahler never rush through an appointment, they do great massage work, they work on flexibility, and they have precise and effective adjustments.
