Negative experience: I’ve been at my breaking point with wic because they are suppose to help families in a single parent and ever since they switched to phone appointments it’s been not helpful I would rather go in person like they had it because I work and when they call it’s like an hour before and at work I can’t be on my phone I have to request it off for the appointment and I get call and I can’t answer at that time only at my appointment time that they sent and I have to wait till October to get a appointment and I haven’t had benefits since July and we are in August at this point it’s very frustrating with and the workers don’t care about the families cause when I call I feel that I’m not being helped out and I am trying to find places that give free food cause everything is so expensive. If anyone could give me advice on how I can go about this to explain my experience with wic cause there’s a lot more that they have not helped out and I’m done with how they operate wic.

Fantastic experience: Since we started covid i haven't been in the office. And every time my appointment i get a call and they are very friendly and have patience.

Negative experience: The girl on the phone was very rude..

Negative experience: Call before you GO OR YOU MAY BE NEED AWAY OR SIMPLY WASTE YOUR TIME & GAS BECAUSE THEY HAVE MEETING & SUCH RANDOMLY!

Negative experience: This place is a nightmare! Plan to waste your whole day there. They are extremely slow takes them forever to print out a couple vouchers. They have toys sitting on the floor for the kids not even a table! Grossss! This is the worst wic office I’ve been to serval in Los Angeles country we’re there is more people and I’ve never had to wait as long as I do here! They need new management here or something has to change is bad! Good luck people

Negative experience: My wife just went on labor thursday morning and my new born needs formula and we have a paper from wic saying that my wife needs to take new born with her in order to get formula so i asked my wife to call and ask cause i think thats absurd but she called and the girl on the told her the same thing that she had to take my new born baby.so we go we get there around 12:50pm and they told us we had to wait until 1:00 pm for everyone to come back from lunch they could had told us to come after 1:00 pm cause of lunch but they didnt . so we waited and waited we were there for almost 2hrs and we asked why they taking so long they couldnt give us an answer they just stared at each other with no answer meanwhile my new born was crying cause she was hungry and when confronted telling them you guys force us into bringing new born and you guys are just having fun gossiping walking back and forward they said is OPTIONAL to bring newborn really so i told them just sign the papers so my baby could get the formula cause my baby is hungry they just tried justifying their unprofessionalism. very unprofessional i would never go back they need supervising cause they aint profesionals i have a video of them on their phones and stuff it wont let me load it but im saving it just in case

Positive experience: They make use of online classes to complete training requirements. It makes the process faster and modern. Really impressive .

Negative experience: Never seemed to qualify....even pregnant and unemployed.

Negative experience: This office is the worst! I’ve gone to another wic office in a different county with a LARGER population and not once did they take more than 2 hours just to give you wic forms. I understand walk ins may take a little longer than having an appointment but walking in and for there to only be 3 people and have to wait 2 hours is pretty ridiculous! All the lady’s do is sit around and gossip all day! The point of their job is to help but instead all their job seems to consist of is chatting with each other and the security guard. I wouldn’t recommend whatsoever!

Fantastic experience: Ladies are very friendly.. The groups are very informative and the whole process to get checks is less than 30 minutes!!

Fantastic experience: The wic is so fun for mom and the kids that is good wen the family go to the wic it good for the because my mom she had a class in the wic because my has a baby that is 1muth and she had the class taday the time was at 4:00am but we left at 3:30

Positive experience: ,, the width program itself is very helpful to a lot of people especially women like me. But, I hate having to argue with people putting me in a one-size-fit-all category. Isn't my cup of tea I don't like being told just because they have a certificate they can tell me what my body can cannot do it's not something as a medical professional nor a mother want to hear I just want to hear what I can do now and to be able to be able to use a breast pump was very helpful although the breast pump is not meant for someone that is not engorged as I told them. It is very helpful to have something to keep your milk coming in but after the baby is a month or two and you're no longer engorged with milk then the breast pump is nothing otherwise. The program itself as wonderful thank you.
