Fantastic experience: I have done 4 body code sessions and 1 emotion code session in which we addressed the heart wall. For me so much of the stuff that needed to be worked through was inherited. I’ve done a lot of work over the years to work through my own burdens but generational stuff we don’t have much control over. My mind has been blown with how past tragedies in the family were effecting me physically and I got to clear this stuff out for our whole family and felt a change instantly in my arm pain! That’s an honor! If all I contributed was clearing a generational pattern of depression then that one thing made it all worth it. Fantastic experience: Both Dr. Piper Houlton and Dr. Brown are excellent! I came here because there are many chiros out there and I didn't know who to choose and a friend told me that they were the best because other chiros give you a great 1st adjustment but the follow-up ones are never good - while here, every follow up is very attuned to your body. I feel like they know my body so well! I am only asked to come back if my body truly needs another follow-up (which initially if your body is having an issue, you'll need more appointments for your body to work out what's going on but then it becomes pretty spread out!) I like the essential oils, I like how much I learn there, and after each adjustment my body feels so much lighter and stress falls off.

Fantastic experience: I first started seeing Dr. Piper when I started having headaches and back pain post car accident. Through adjustments, acupuncture, and cupping (also with Dr. Brown who is equally amazing) I no longer have the headaches or pain from the accident. Dr. Piper has been a huge blessing through the chiropractor adjustments during this pregnancy. There have been times where I am in so much pain before the appointment and walk out feeling 100x better. Both Dr. Piper and Dr. Brown go above and beyond in their patient care taking the time to make sure you leave each appointment feeling better than you came in. Fantastic experience: Piper has helped my husband and I so much in the past 7 months. She’s really helped me understand my body more. She can tell what needs attention and how to adjust it. I had bad arm pain but really found out it was my lower back that needed adjusting. She also helped me through walking pneumonia by adjusting my ribs and keeping everything in line. I wrote her a thank you card with tears of thankfulness because all this stuff I was experiencing happened right after my mom died and the grief that had built up in my body was getting released. Today my pain is gone, but now know in all areas of my life managing stress better is key and by taking time for myself and not allowing this build up in my body. I would definitely recommend Piper, she’s helped me through the hardest part of my life with such care, you’re not just another patient with her.

Fantastic experience: The women at Ascent are beyond intelligent, efficient and kind! Dr Piper Houlton (Wegner when I met her) has been my relief in so many ways throughout my body. From adjustments, acupuncture, and cupping, it has all helped my body heal physically and emotionally. She takes her time in “listening” to what my body tells her through the way she moves my limbs or palpates areas. Piper makes sure I’m tip top shape by having me walk the long hall to make sure I hold my adjustment because my body is stubborn. She always explains the process to me because even though I’m in healthcare, I forget how to be a patient and she knows that. Dr Melissa Brown is also a very smart energetic lady! She is similar to Piper in the sense of explaining the process. I appreciate her holistic approach in using essential oils and teaching about how to detoxify the body by the way you eat. This was pretty much their goal from the beginning in opening their own space, how to heal people inside out. Crystal Stidham- massage therapist is another very smart lady! She can feel my body and then ask me a question to confirm what she felt, always exactly on point. Her room is very zen and peaceful, a place to relax and let go. Our schedules don’t coincide otherwise I’d be there every month! Overall, I love this place and will continue to make the drive from Bellevue. You should to, from wherever you are.

My goal was to remove any trapped emotions and imbalances which may have contributed to this diagnosis. Fantastic experience: I recently saw Dr. Brown for neck and shoulder pain with early pregnancy. When I was talking to her, I expressed my discomfort with morning sickness. I was 11 weeks pregnant and since week 6 I had been puking every single morning. After talking with her she suggest we try emotion code! It was quick, very interesting and helped tremendously. After 5 weeks of puking EVERY morning I finally got a break and Am feeling better. Cannot recommend emotion code enough if you are struggling with morning sickness. Thanks Dr. Brown!

Fantastic experience: I have never had any back issues before or ever been to a chiropractic. I injured my back at work that morning and was working 3 hrs from home. So I call at least 12 practices in the Omaha area. Dr Melissa was the first one to call me back and the only one that could get me in that day. I about had to crawl across the parking lot to get in. But when I left I was still in some pain but able to walk upright. I seen Melissa a few more times that week and felt better every time. She is very professional, explains what is going on and what you will feel and what she is doing. And puts it in terms you can under stand.. Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr. Piper Wegener by my midwife when we learned my baby was breech at 34 weeks. I started seeing Piper that same week and doing Spinning Babies and my baby flipped to head down after just a few days. I continued to get adjusted for the remainder of my pregnancy to help maintain balance in my body and encourage baby to stay head down. It’s obvious that Piper is very knowledgeable in pregnancy and postpartum chiropractic care and very compassion towards her clients! She is super communicative and explains why she does each adjustment, asks lots of questions, and makes sure each appointment is completely customized to how you are feeling that day. I always felt amazing after my adjustments. I also worked with Dr. Brown for two weeks while Piper was out of the office and she was great, too! I highly recommend this practice!!

She has helped postpartum healing for me, helped when my littles aren't sleeping through the night, and honestly when any of us aren't feeling well. Fantastic experience: Dr. Piper Wegener has cared for our family of five so well over the last few years. Not only does Piper truly care about all of her patients, but she is amazing at chiropractic care. Prior to seeing her, I had seen 3 or 4 other chiropractors. What stood out to me about Dr. Wegener was how personalized, tailored, and unique every adjustment was with her. Other chiropractors would do the same 'x' amount of adjustments, but she would feel what my body needed and act accordingly. Dr. Wegener also walked us through a season of waiting to get pregnant with our third, has helped us through numerous ear infections (including a raging double ear infection in my 15mo. old which helped us avoid antibiotics!), has seen me so quickly postpartum, cared for our newborn, helped with another family member when she was in such discomfort, and so much more. Our family adores her. She also does a great job explaining things, and sharing what she feels might be going on in the body based on what she feels. She is so SMART. Dr. Brown is also near to my heart as she adjusted me and did acupuncture to help my labor progress into "the real deal" - our third baby was born about 9-10 hours after my appointment with her. I recommend everyone to Ascent. I support mamas in birth and have had a few moms switch to Dr Wegener at my suggestion from other chiros, and I always get a message from them saying they will never go anywhere else. She is just the best. She and Dr. Brown have created the most beautiful, serene space at Ascent! Cannot recommend these gifted, caring women enough
